Beautiful staff all around. We had a blast. Memories!

Went here this past weekend. Everything was great till it was time to check out. My 3 children plus a friend (all minors) were placed into a situation that could have gone south very quickly! I’ve reached out multiple times and no response. There are absolutely no security or safety measures in place here.

This kid above me has been screaming for over an hour and a half and because it’s after 7am quiet time the hotel staff won’t do anything. BS! I’ve asked for a well being check, now I’m going to call the local police. There’s obviously something wrong 😑

Great water park great people n cheap prices.

This place is amazing, the staff incredible lots to do, they have a buffet reasonably priced. The only bad this is alcohol is real expensive so bring your own.

Clean spaces around entire building. Could definitely be all exclusive if you wanted. Has food beverages and nice gift shops. Lots to keep family busy and enjoying them self.

The beds are awful. They remind me of a $50 a night super 8 hotel.

It was very kid friendly and safe enough to allow kids to explore independently.

Never going to Great Wolf Lodge again and don’t recommend it to anyone. This last trip we were “accidentally” charged over $400 and their finance department and now giving us a runaround. Was told yesterday we would hear back within 24 hours, had to call them today and they didn’t even have a “case #” started. Now we have to wait another 48 hours to see if they are even going to investigate? Horrible service while there, rude staff who completely ignored my wife and the kids when they asked questions, and the ones who did talk to us kept giving us wrong open and close times for activities causing us to miss them… sad cause we have been taking the kids there for years.

This place used to be great but has really fell apart. The management didn't care that their beds were terrible, the toilet was detached from the floor, and half the rides were shut down. When I brought it up, the manager Ben said " what do you want me to do about it, if we gave money back to everyone that complained we would have to shut our doors. " Never again.

We love our weekend for my daughter birthday. The rooms was clean, the staff very friendly, and great food see you soon.

We came here celebrating our daughter’s birthday. Staff outside water park were accommodating and respectful. Whatever we needed, it was bought to us in timely manner. Couple downside were food like lunch or dinner was not to our liking but breakfast was very good. Hopefully in future there will be a bigger size swimming pool than what they currently have and possible more water slides. Overall experience was still good especially for kids.

We loved the lodge! Everything was fantastic, but my wallet got stolen from my diaper bag while we were swimming. Definitely not the lodge’s fault, still a huge bummer that it happened in such a family friendly atmosphere. Whoever took it used my cards for purchases AT the lodge. Didn’t even give me time to cancel my cards before they went swiping.

Quiet rooms, lots of activities for the kids. Just ate at Barnwood for our last night and the service by Naz and the food were equally amazing! Will definitely be back!

The great wolf lodge makes everything more difficult then it needs to be. Check in is always a nightmare. Why does it always take a half hour? And all the credit card holds? They do not care about any of the patrons like they claim. They closed the lazy river on Sunday which happens to be my 3 year old daughters birthday. She likes the lazy river, and the lodge claims they can’t control the staffs call offs but it also happened to be super bowl Sunday. Of coarse people would call off esp with all the young people they employ. It’s great wolfs responsibility to staff correctly and my daughter should have to suffer. There are limited attractions for young kids so taking one away makes all the money we spent seem like we should be compensated.

The resort is perfect for our 2 year old! Every employee is very friendly, our room is a minute walk from our room, and all restaurants and vending machines are open and staffed. Very impressed with this resort and will definitely be back again 🙂

So there are good and bad things about this hotel. First our room was super nice and clean. We had the grizzly bear suite and it was perfect. The person who texts you when you have a question is also quick and really nice. But the waterpark is a bit small and the towel service is super annoying. You have to scan your wristband to get towels and if someone’s takes yours and you don’t scan it back you get charged $15 a towel. For the price of the rooms you should get as many towels as you want to use. The water is freezing and there is No Hot Tub! That was a big disappointment seeing that usually they have an adult one. Also the main bar in the waterpark is closed and the employees say that it has been closed for a long time and half the stuff doesn’t work. We got a cabana and it was a bit small also. You don’t get service which at most places you do. You do get 4 free cocktails but unless you ask I would not have known. They didn’t leave the voucher in the cabana for us. The staff is yelling at my 2 year old for playing in the water with a little cup. That was annoying. Most attractions are either closed or the lines are super long. The arcade is super expensive and the prizes either aren’t that great or like over 20, 000 tickets with is insane. Most food places are closed at different times and the waterpark food line is always super long. I get the Covid protocols but the lines and rules made the trip less enjoyable.

Best family fun too enjoy together the park is very nice and family orientated. The suit was just so homey and the bed was so comfortable also very home like and good value for the whole family no one was crowded.

The employees are great! However this company is running a serious skeleton crew, these employees are being overworked! Now to more issues, this was day 3 for me and my kids, and the lazy river, and the biggest waterslide were shut down (for the whole day) it was bad enough the wave pool (had no waves — due to Covid 19) but then they shut that down as well! The Otter is a favorite for my little ones, and they had only 1 of them running, so with not much to do, everyone crowded into the small pool with the basketball net, (Covid-19)? Took the kids to bowling, and the lane broke, it was one thing after the next! So many things being overlooked for company profit, it just makes you sick! We love Great Wolf, it has been so much fun for our Family since Gurnee, IL. Opened, but it is nothing like it used to be sadly 😔 I honestly would like to see someone care about the people that work there, and take care of the guests, this trip was definitely not one we are looking to repeat, be nice if they made it right for everyone! This all happened on May 6, 2021 (everything breaking or being down) I ordered the room, and wolf passes, and got charged more for the wolf passes at the counter, and they did nothing to fix it! Even if you get a discount, you are still putting alot of money back in, why not be treated right?

We had a great time! The restaurant we ate at (Barnwood) was amazing! The water park was great along with other activities that were available.

Our weekend stay here was absolutely amazing! Had our room assistant from day 1 whom was very helpful through the app/phone. Mostly everything is cash free. The room did not have a microwave in the unit but we were sent one within minutes, when requested. The water park was not over crowded and very clean. The wristband doubles as your room key as well as form of payment (if you want). The stay comes with free Grey wolf ears for the family. This lodge has a built in Build A Bear as well as a Ben & Jerry’s station, mini gold course and obstacle course/arcade area. Have stayed at numerous hotels and motels and this was one of the best experiences by far.

Food places were not good. Most of our orders were messed up and the food was not a good value at all. The room was nice but overall I would be hard pressed to spend that kind of money there again.

Great place for the family. Super clean, friendly staff, and so so so much to do. My two year old and twelve year old had a lot of fun.

I was skeptical about this place as I have a season pass at six flags which is just down the road and has a huge water park. It was a total blast though. Got a good deal on Groupon, the staff is all super courteous and helpful. We even had personal assistant available by text for anything we needed. There were lots of other activities that were pricey, but not overly so. The water park was a LOT of fun and bigger than we realized. We stayed overnight, and you can still access the water park the day you checkout. So we got two days at a water park. And it was great because there were four parts of the water park we missed the first day. All-in-all we had a blast and would definitely go back.

The Waterpark was great. Kids loved it. They cater to all ages, fun for all. Wish they had a jacuzzi. Wave pool was the best. Disappointed in the rooms, they are just about as average as a hotel room except there is no microwave in them. For the price paid per night I would expect better. Food prices inside are expensive inside as one would expect but there are restaurants nearby.

Fun play place filled with thrills and spills of glee! There's an indoor water park with a lazy river on one end of the spectrum, and a family sized tube ride with deep drops on the other end. The kids did the rope course, and were fine until the top level of the course. There's also an electronic adventure game in the context of a "magic" wand to fight a troll & a dragon. We finished the game in an evening, which is very tiring due to the goals of each objective being located at various locations in the two story lodge, and must be completed in specific order. Overall, the kids had a blast!

I personally liked the keylime coves kiddy area better the way it was before. Now the splash pad is a little lame (sorry) and there's little to not enough space for the toddlers where the slides are… I mean yes but unless you want your kids to be kicked in the face by other kids going down the slides. The big tube slides were an awesome addition. No hottub! Why? The wave pool is shallow, it's 5 ft deepest. Super expensive. The campfire bfast buffet was kind of sad and small. The nice restaurant by the check in was awful. Undercooked risotto, then I was told how risotto is supposed to be… I know it's supposed to have crunchy arborio rice! Seems like a lot of the wait staff everywhere was the least bit informative or knowledgeable.
I'd love to go again because it so close to us but I really miss keylime cove! I can't help but to keep comparing. But the rest of greatwolf lodge staff was awesome, super nice and optimistic.

Recently visited the newly renovated Great Wolf Lodge. Property was really well appointed and enjoyed the ambiance of the hotel and the various Great Wolf touches. Entrance is super impressive and love the electronic bracelets that open the hotel room doors in addition to allowing purchases at the hotel snack bar and restaurants. Rooms were nicely redecorated including the bathroom. Water park was a nice size with quite a few fun and thrilling slides. Deducted one point for not having a jacuzzi and drinks were a bit over priced. Otherwise enjoyed our visit and would definitely return.

Fun Lodge water park for Family. Expanded water park. (Checking in and out very convenient). They did a great job. Added Wave pool, more water slides and outdoor pool. Would like to see clocks in water park. Also, don't understand why you don't have exhaust fan in bedroom bathroom. This can cause mold quickly. Walls had extremely moisture after showering.

Here's my review of Great Wolf Lodge in Gurnee IL. 1. I've enjoyed my time with my family. We've had a blast but Only because we make our own fun. 2. When you walk in, the lobby looks great. Don't get caught up here, its all fake. 3. They slapped a coat of paint on everything and call it their own. If you hated the last water park that was here, you'll hate this place. 4. I wouldn't even call this a water park, more like an overpriced hotel will a cool pool. I've seen better hotel pools in Nashville though. 5. Our room is retarded, as is this hotel. There are literally 3 light switches within 3 feet of each other that control the same thing. There is a fireplace that doesn't work, but you can see the pilot is lit. There are light switches and outlets that don't even work. Also, we have a balcony that is about 14'x10'. The rails feel like they're made from Styrofoam rubber that I could pull out of the flooring. There is no furniture on the patio. 6. The food is horrendous. The waiter brought us 2 wrong meals, charged me for 3 wrong items, and who wants breakfast potatoes that taste like fajitas. There is more. Save your money. Don't come here.
