Staff at the reception is very kind and helpful. They make you feel welcome each time you need support. The room was perfect.

Rooms are clean and fresh. Lighting is poor and water pressure leaves something to be desired, but with conservation? Would I stay here again, yes for the price of what you get in comparison to others.

Just disappointed, we were in town for a wedding. No breakfast, unless you want to buy store bought frozen food they have. No pool or anything like that. We got a queen size bed for two adults and it was small, more of a full size bed.

Room smelled like cat pee. No hot water. Gang traffic. Drug sales. Prostitution. Poor lighting in room. Cheap rates.

So today is my first day working here I remember this hotel growing up because I remember a shooting taking place when the hotel was named Johnson Howard they renamed and added a few more rooms. The shooting took place on the first floor and to be honest I don't think this job is going to last. I really need the money and I want to check it out today in hopes that over ten years have passed by so maybe it won't be haunted anymore. Idk what to do if you look up north aurora hotel shooting you will find the article the kid was only 17 but involved in gangs n such. I looked up when they reopened under north aurora hotel but can't find a grand opening date. Scary.

Room wasn't ready. Desk clerk did his best, but had a lot of trouble with the reservation. Good for 1 night. No more.

Clean. Pleasant staff. Inexpensive. Downside: no phone in room. No deposit if credit card is used.

The room was very cheap! There was construction going on and a detour had to be taken to get there but is located in a business area. The rooms were clean and service was great! We were sent to aatom that had mistakenly not been cleaned, we then received an upgrade and the staff on duty entry with us to check the condition of the new room before giving it to us. The only downside is 1 entrance at the front, the bed was very uncomfortable (but the room was cheap! ) And there was no hot water.

Dirty entry, lobby, and dining room. None of the main carpets appear to have been vacuumed for several days. No free continental breakfast as advertised. Room itself is a bit better. Kitchenette comes without any dishes.

Literally would give zero stars if it was an option. I've been staying here for a while now and this place is absolutely trash. You are better off staying in your car or going to the other hotel across the street. Literally ANYTHING is better than this place. First, the Wi-Fi seems like it's been made to only allow two people on. It's always terrible. You can't stay on for more than 5 minutes without an issue. You'd think a hotel would invest in proper Wi-Fi, certainly one that has a capacity for far more than two people. Second, this place is advertised as having continental breakfast but all you see in the morning is a coffee maker and nothing else. The room, actually the whole hotel, is poorly made and not maintained well. It seems like this place is barely together. The laundry room is in such a bad place and the machines have been out of service for as long as I can remember. The only good thing is probably the maid service. Overall, this place seems like it's getting by on the bare minimum. I can see it going out of business within the next year or two. In terms of the false advertisement, I will be looking into contact with the Better Business Bureau to try to seek some sort of repercussion for this poorly managed place. Please, spend your money on literally anything else. Trust me.

Booked room 130 and everything was fine for the most part. Room was unbearably hot when we arrived but the ac cooled it down fairly quick. Booked through air bnb and online it said we would have Wi-Fi and free breakfast, which we had neither of. Upon check out they claimed there was a broken curtain in the room which they didn't see before and we were charged for it, because they can't do their job properly. Will not be coming back and would not recommend.

I would give it no stars if I had a choice. The customer service is horrible. The place looks like an abandoned prison. Do not stay here ever! Horrible place. Also they have a no refund policy so they are a rip off. Wasn't even there 5 minutes and they still refused a refund.

The hotel is a dump. Its falling apart. Our 1st room looked and smelled like mold and mildew. Not sure if the 1st floor had flooded or not. I can't believe this place has a 3.0 rating and I'm so upset that hotwire even promotes an establishment like this which I paid $68 for. It's not worth $33. So needless to say, after a long drive and a long day, we had to switch to a room on the 2nd floor, but I'm not sleeping under the cover! It looks like a slum hotel youd find in a bad neighborhood. At least the bathroom looks like it was updated. So disappointed.

Oh god. Under no circumstances ever stay here. This hotel is in no way worth $70. My brother and I made the mistake of staying here on a business trip just because it was so close to our final destination. Right after walking in a seeing the "no guns allowed" sign we knew it was a mistake. The floors felt hollow. The wallpaper was so bad it's laughable. The pool looks like its been closed since the 90's and there was no mention of breakfast until we were checking out. The room smelled musky and moldy and the shower curtain has odd colored marks on it obviously from other guests. Let's just say I slept on top of my blanket in this hotel.
