We had a fantastic bridal shower here on Sunday. Gretchen and Katie were so professional and helpful with the whole experience. I would say this is a hidden gem in downtown Aurora for medium to large get togethers. Their banquet room was clean and well designed, also the access to the outdoor space was perfect for the beautiful day. Thanks so much.

Just left after a stay for a wedding. This Hotel gets an A+ rating! Super friendly staff, immaculate facility and guest rooms. Delicious breakfast, great location and reasonable rates! I just can’t say enough about our great experience. Keep up the excellent work!

Location is right downtown very nice, extremely close to the train station which is a little issue if you are on the backside of the hotel you hear them fairly well at night. Rooms are extremely clean and very modern the whole hotel is very clean and modern. Free breakfast I love my stay there and would recommend it again.

The lobby is modern and refined beautifully. Rooms are similar in design with clean beds and bathrooms. I didn't have much experience with the service of the hotel, but those who managed the front desk were excellent! A very nice option for an overnight stay.

I am in awe honestly. Found this hotel online to just do an overnighter with my 2 daughters (ages 13 & 7) so we could swim & relax. We booked the kid suite because it has a bunk bed room with PlayStation 4, & it is more awesome than we could’ve even imagined! The pool, our room, & every other area of the hotel is so clean it’s beyond refreshing & the staff is super nice, friendly & helpful! 100% totally thrilled with this place! Treat your kids & yourself! Clearly a place that takes pride in all they offer.

We ordered 3 rooms for a bachelor party with 4 people per room, but Holiday Inn forgot to mention that the rooms with 4 people include bunkbeds for kids. Holiday inn also wouldn't let us cancel and charged extra because the extra people weren't kids. So we had 50 year old guys trying to climb into bunkbeds. Would not recommend.

I thought the best experience I've had at a hotel was in Salina, Kansas; but then came Holiday Inn Express in Aurora, Illinois. It is so cool to meet staff who are TRULY (not that fake customer service crap) happy to serve guests. Front Desk Agent (Overnight) Julius was the HIT! He was very helpful and went above and beyond. There was another 'Brother' who worked the desk in the daytime who was awesome as well but his name escapes me at this time. You really need to stay here — it is well worth it. Notice I didn't say anything about the room. Here is why; the staff was so helpful and engaging that truly, I didn't notice how well the rooms were put together until right before writing this review (stayed for several days). Anyone who gives this hotel (and I've stayed in HUNDREDS over the years) anything less than a 4 star review is just a WHINER. Just such a good place and great people.

I'm a consultant who travels out-of-state weekly and usually stays at full-service Marriott Hotels. We stayed here this weekend for a local fundraising bike ride. They were accommodating to all of us and the rooms were upgraded and fantastic. Very impressed, and in fact with the room layout and amenities provided, in many ways it outranked many of those full-service hotels I stay in when on the road. I highly recommend this hotel!

This was a great hotel. Not only was the hotel in great shape, clean and felt "higher end" than the price. It is also right next to an outstanding restaurant/brewery/distillery. The staff was awesome and everything was as (or better) than we expected. We'll certainly keep in on our list of "must stays" for our local, family vacationing.

Compared to some of the other hotels I have visited before, I will say this hotel is probably top notch. Their services are outstanding. I am looking forward to visiting gain.

Grateful for the staff at this Holiday Inn and Suites Express. They are professional, welcoming, and always provide excellent customer service. Whether staying here myself or reserving rooms to host guests, it is easy to trust everyone will be well cared for.

This is a good place to stay. We've been here twice for our trip to chicago. Going here is not so busy and the place is so peaceful. The rooms were great, the beds were comfortable. Our kids enjoyed their stay here too.

The Holiday inn was a wonderful experience. They were very accommodating when I got in late in the night at 12:30 at night. The staff were super nice and helpful, they all took very good care of me. The coffee was great and freshly made first thing in the morning. Did I mention the continental breakfast? Overall great place will stay again.

The rooms were very nice, clean, well kept and were pleasing to stay in. Breakfast was also very good. Bathroom in the room was very nice and clean and the shower was really nice. I would definitely stay again.

I have stayed here a number of times. Hotel is fresh and updated. Staff and breakfast are great. Wow shower is amazing. 2 brothers is right next door are no is a great place. Price is also very good for the area highly recommend it.

This hotel was amazing. Andrew was a huge help to us, he helped us find places to eat for Christmas dinner. The room was super clean and breakfast was good too. Pool and hot tub were fun also. All around, good hotel.

The process of booking was fast and easy. Staff were friendly and the environment is clean and very nice. Definitely will keep in mind for the next time.

My only complaint is that there are only 5 starts. Amazing people! Amazing accommodations! Amazing experience! Lorraine is six kinds of awesome and deserves a raise and promotion! Geraldo was extremely helpful. Best experience in years at a hotel!

Room was clean, and very nice. Did not spend much time at the hotel, but staff was pleasant. Also had security patrolling outside to ensure patrons from neighboring bar did not cause trouble overnight.

My husband and I used this hotel for our wedding weekend. Gretchen, the general manager, and Trevor who is in charge of sales were AMAZING to work with. We booked their conference room for an informal rehearsal dinner and Trevor helped bartend the event and ensured all ran smoothly. Trevor also offered us an unexpected additional upgrade when a new room became available to us (we had already had an upgrade). We loved our experience with these 2 people. Customer service, good customer service, truly makes such a huge difference.

Hotel used to be a Comfort Inn. The rooms are great, new and updated but they do not have guest laundry at all, so if that will be an issue, then you should choose one of the other many hotels in the area. They are also not very conveniently located to the interstate. You have to cut through town etc. But if you are going to the Two Brothers Round House or the downtown Aurora area, then they are right there. We also noticed some of the patrons to the homeless shelter a couple of blocks away wandering around on the street next to and in front of the hotel which did not make us feel super secure with our car etc. And the hotel is located literally right in front of the train tracks for the Metra which runs all night. If you are a light sleeper you may want to get a room facing the front. SO the rooms are great, staff is great, breakfast was great… but we can only give it a 2 star rating because of the other reasons.

Holiday Inn, went you walked in the evening the gentleman Mr Andrew greet you with a smile and explain about the hotel, and the restaurants around the area, the rooms are very clean and the following morning the best beckfast so many choices, it's nice someone is making beckfast for me, my only complaint is I wish to stay the weekend, so the next time, I am making reservations for the weekend, a happy customer, theresa, and my niece caty,

We had reserved a room with 2 queen beds but found we had one king bed instead. They failed to notify us that there was a pull out couch in the room. The continental breakfast was good and the location was great! The rooms were nice but the air turned off when no one was in the room, making it stuffy and hot upon arrival.

After a string of terrible hotel experiences during our cross country move, this Hotel was breath of fresh air. Gerardo at the front desk was very helpful. The hotel is modern and very clean. I was impressed by the sound proofing of the building. It is right next the train tracks and you can't hear it, even in the pool area that faces the tracks. Would stay here again.

Very surprised in a good way. Awesome new holiday Inn express. Updated rooms and a great rate. Could not believe there were trains across from the hotel and never heard a thing. The round brothers next door was awesome and breakfast was amazing. Will be back.

If you are traveling with children I definitely recommend the kids suite with the bunkbeds kids loved it. Very clean, great breakfast, comfortable beds.

The staff was very welcoming & helpful. The rooms were very nice and clean. A very nice variety for breakfast even gluten free options. Would highly recommend.

The shoter in my room had jets coming out of the wall as well as from above which I have never had before but now my wife wants to remodel our bathroom. I saw a few other rooms and they don't all have that feature. The rooms were large, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was good. If I had another event in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here.

Used this as a primary hotel for our wedding at the roundhouse on 5/29/2016 and I cannot express how grateful we were of the accommodations and staff. They allowed us to hang out in the outdoor patio late into the night and enjoy the beautiful weather. The pool area and rooms seemed brand new. No complaints! 5 stars!

Great hotel. Currently converting to Holiday Inn. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Great access to the metra and a great staff. Rooms are clean and newly renovated.

Currently under renovation and being changed to Holiday Inn Express. The Rooms are newly appointed and rather large. Great location and friendly staff.

Beds are really comfy. Staff is super friendly all-around! It seems like they are in the process of remodeling because compared to the room I stayed in, I did not expect the cafeteria and lounge area to look as nice and modern as they do. Maid service is also great! Although I had not touched the shampoo and conditioner, she still supplied us with extra the following morning. There's cable TV, free Wi-Fi, and wonderful selections on the free breakfast!

The hotel is under renovations right now, so I understand the mess but I wasn't told before we got the room that it was under renovations. So we walked in to a mess. The lady was nice at the front desk. No snacks to be found anywhere in the place. No room service. Rooms were big and bath was nice. Would like to see once its all done. Hopefully more parking somehow too.

The hotel rooms are comfortable even with the renovations happening, convenient location for getting to downtown and a craft brew pub is right next door. Breakfast spread is fairly standard. I found Wi-Fi signal to be inconsistent — best to bring your own cat5 cable for a wired connection, the one provided in the room is only one foot long.

The hotel was clean and in a good quiet safe spot. The front desk did a good job in making sure our stay was perfect. The room was an excellent size. It was just an amazing stay!

Love staying at this chain of hotels, because of the reliability of know the room would be clean. Sad to say the front desk service at this hotel seamed to be lacking a bit in the friendly personality that I'm use at the comfort Inn chains. They did how ever give a nice gift card to the Two brothers restaurant next door. Sad the service there was bad too but great beer. Value wise all day 4 star.
