This hotel dirty. They do not clean the rooms the sheets walls and floor blunt wrap on the counter dirty microwave hallway dirty I recommend no one to this hotel.

Room had a funky smell so I had to buy air fresheners. Breakfast is absolutely awful. Only good part is the cold cereal. I will be staying somewhere else from now on.

Clean and very affordable! Everything was clean, the staff was nice! My only complaint was the small bed. We asked for a single room but received a double with two full size beds! My husband is 6'0, 200lbs lol Otherwise I enjoyed my stay and would definitely be back!

The hotel is clean enough for a quick, inexpensive stay. There is some smell of smoke in the hallways, but my non-smoking room didn't have this odor. The staff was friendly and efficient in all my interactions. Included breakfast was light, but had enough variety including breads, meat, and eggs along with some fruit and yogurt. Bathrooms was small and the sink is located outside of the bathroom. There is some noise from the hallway when people are returning to their rooms, but the hotel is small enough that there was not much traffic to bother you.

I loved staying here. It's super close to EVERYTHING in carbondale. The beds were on the firm side, the staff were all very friendly, saying hello and good bye every time we came in or left. The pool left a little too be desired. It needed to be skimmed as the were bugs in it. (there was a hole in a window letting them in. ) The rooms were clean, save for a single beer can hidden under a chair we found when we moved it. No big deal. Breakfast was the typical continental breakfast: waffle, scrambled eggs, sausage, etc. Tasted fine to me. All in all, just for the location it was worth it. Less than $100 a night, close to everything, clean. Sign me up tp sleep the again!

The room was clean and fully stocked. But I mostly want to give 5 stars to their staff. Cindy (I think, but it's the lady with short blonde hair) was SO helpful. She not only had great customer service skills on the phone and at the desk, but she went above and beyond by coming all the way around to the back, holding open all doors for me when my hands were too full, and personally escorted me to my room, helping me get my stuff in there too. If I have to get a room in Carbondale again, I will absolutely be coming back here. Fantastic staff.

Our first non smoking room reeked of smoke. Managment accomated nicely and gave us a new room.

Not too bad, if it wasn't for the smell of weed would have been better lol.

Cleanliness fair. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast was straight up cold. Would have been good warm. Evening desk clerks very nice and friendly. Would stay again due to proximity to campus.

It's a nice hotel, but it's not very clean.

Just stayed at the Quality Inn in Carbondale. Wonderful staff, newly remodeled rooms and Lobby. Very clean. Will definitely return.

I booked for a cheap, decent room and got it. This Quality Inn is conveniently located on a main road next to two grocery stores and several restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. At breakfast the manager offered to bring more of everything, even after the posted end time had passed. It has a nice indoor pool. There were only minor problems. The window a/c unit was loud and made a clicking sound when the fan wasn't blowing. There was a little bit of dirt on the bathroom floor and the shower had some black specks on the floor and mildew under the plastic of the handle. Also the pillows were too soft and squishy, but that's a personal preference.

Very nice staff, very helpful and friendly. Only reason it's not five stars is there was a funny smell in the bathroom of the room I stayed in and there was a stain on the sheets. Apart from that, good stay!

I was not to thrilled with the hotel. The rooms were ok but the lobby was nasty stained up and oh ya I saw a roach in the hallway, The breakfast was horrible also. I suggest that you do not stay at the roach motel. Next time we go to carbondale we are finding somewere else to stay. I couldn't even bring my things in my house till I checked every inch of it for roaches!

KICKED ME AND MY CHILDREN OUT! I reserved 2 rooms and asked that they be adjoining since I am a single mom traveling with 3 kids. When I checked in (I was the only one there and it took nearly 30 minutes) I was told I couldn't get adjoining rooms but they would be across from each other. Not great but ok. We go up to the rooms and they are on opposite ends of the hallway! No where near each other! When I went to check my teenaged boys room, I found the adjoining door to the room next door would not lock. I went to the front desk to ask that the door be fixed or my boys be moved. I then asked where the pool was. I was told the pool was closed. The reservation website as well as the marquee at the hotel claims there is an indoor pool. There's no sign at the front desk and no one tells you there is no pool! The manager came in, I explained my displeasure to him and he told the front desk clerk to cancel my reservation and told me to stay elsewhere. He threw me and my 3 children out into the street. Not only does Mr Patel's hotel suck but he is a completely heartless human being. I can't believe corporate continually lets this man and his crappy hotel tarnish the Choice Hotels name.

The most nastiest hotel room I've stayed in. It's a shame cuz I stayed here a year ago it was descent. I walked down the hallway to my room (believe me I wanted to run. But it was 2 am and I needed a rest) it smelled strong of roach spray. Get in my room. I just stood there. I really wanted to sleep in my car that's how freaky nasty it was.
