Terrible experience at the Bloomington, IL location. Bugs in the room. Horrible lumpy bed. I stayed 6 hours and left. Neither an alternative room nor consideration on the bill were offered. I was charged full price. Never again.

Poor water quality in shower, hard bed, towels are like sand paper and in door pool area was cold. Was charged an extra $20 that’s not on bill as an accident fee that will be refunded in 2-3 days. Ceiling fan in bathroom doesn’t work so can’t use mirror after showering.

Accommodations were fine. AC was COLD, in a good way. Breakfast options were nice!

Decent bed, okay condition of the place. Wi-Fi disconnects almost as fast as you connect, rendering it worthless. Pool is the size of a kiddie pool and about three feet deep.

Nice clean hotel. Only issue was they cleaned the bathroom but did not leave any new towels or washcloths. No problems at all and would definitely stay here again. Oh, the cookies when we arrived were awesome. Breakfast was pretty good for continental style.

I been here three days and 8 have two more left. The staff has been very polite and helpful. The staff that cleans does a great job and has no problem with reasonable request, ie only towels and a vacuum versus a complete clean. I have enjoyed my stay here and would do it again. This place feels clean.

We do not travel much but when we do we try to keep things cheap. This hotel was by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in for this price. The hotel was very clean and staff was very friendly. They have a pool, Wi-Fi, a ton of selection for breakfast! The beds were very comfy along with pillows. I could not believe we payed this price for this hotel! We have spent way more for much less. We will look for these hotels the next time we travel. I was very impressed!

Clean, basic rooms are good for short term visits. Family visited overnight and stayed here. Rooms are cozy, and would be a bit cramped for longer visits. But the price and location make this a great option for overnight visitors.

My two son's 4&9 years old, and I, live in Pekin and have had a great time here during our two night mini vacation weekend stay.
We're on a quest to go to Grady's family fun park, Miller Park Zoo and the children's discovery museum all in one weekend.
There's microwave popcorn and Pringles on the floor now so I'm sorry for that in advance but they loved swimming in the pool and not being at their moms house.
This location has made a comfy home base for us to launch our attack on this city.
We Will definately be back in a few weeks to do it again.

This was an excellent stay. Super clean room, comfortable beds, plenty of comfy pillows, staff were great and experienced at toilet fixing. Would stay here again.

I booked this hotel for two nights. This is the smallest queen size bed I have ever slept in, Me and my husband was literally laying on top of each other. The T. V. IS A 13in. My room was not cleaned eventhough the housekeeping said they would come back to clean it. I had no clean towels. I call down to the front desk to tell them that my room wasn't cleaned and we had no clean towels so she brought us 15 towels for 2 people and one cup of the shampoo and conditioner, like two people need that many towels. I am totally disappointed with this hotel their pool isn't working and the room key doesn't work after one use to the back door. Stay here if you don't want your room cleaned and you want to sleep in a small bed and look at the T. V. With binocular.

Limited is correct, short on towels, didn't clean room well. Still a used wash clothe hanging on shower rod (not ours). But pretty cheap and the bed is clean, they brought towels and coffee up quickly after called desk.

Pool was closed, but otherwise the room was clean, the beds comfortable, and the staff was helpful.

Great customer service. Room was clean. Had to leave one day early with no penalty charge.

Clean rooms nice staff… little bar with pizza and munchies. If your into slot machines they even have them to.

Friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and I think the hotel was pet friendly because there were dozens of people staying with their dogs for a local or regional convention. There was also a small indoor pool.

My granddaughter's birthday party was here. The kids had a great time. They have a inside pool, but not deep enough or big enough for the adults. Ideal place for a birthday party.

The negative experience started the moment we checked in. After having confirm six weeks ago that the hotel had a room that would accommodate my disability, I found out that this was not the case. Employees themselves are not aware of what they could offer a disabled person. This lack of knowledge could really harm someone with a disability, as it could leave them unable to find a room that could meet their needs in any fashion. Because I was not able to find a hotel that could meet my needs, we decided to try and make the work this room work at the Ramada. When we entered the room, we noticed a slight smell, but we decided to live with it because we are tired. The room was not clean. The walls had stains and there were spots on the ceiling. The sheets had some type of stain on it, and the bed cover had a small urine stain on it. The sink in the bathroom was not clean, along with any of the surfaces in the hotel room. The air conditioning unit smelled when it was operated. During the night I heard scratching, and just before waking up, it was apparent that there was a mouse running around in a room. And then dawned on us that the smell was a mouse nest, and there was a mouse living in the air conditioning unit. I politely inform the front desk. However, I was not offered any type of compensation. UPDATE: The manager called on 11/7/17 and apologized for the error. He took responsibility for not properly training his staff.

Well maintained, modem and quiet room, somewhat small but not cramped. It was neat and clean, I was really surprised at the extremely reasonable rate. Less than a third of the hotel two nights ago. Possibly the lowest cost room that I've had outside of a hostel.

Charges unexplained and not able to get an explanation for several days. Desk clerk not cooperative until I called the head of the chain. Desk clerk carried on conversation very rudely and only then was I given an explanation of charges. Desk clerk claimed She was there last three days I claimed to have been calling for an explanation. I produced phone records proving my calls. Still continued to say I did not call. Never would stay again. Poor management. Rooms were small but clean and nice but it's a shame to have rude clerks.

Pool freezing and way too much chlorine — kids coughing like crazy after 10 min. In the pool. The rooms smelled and we had to move to 3 different rooms to find one that didn't give me a headache. Customer service is poor — we had to plunge our own toilet and the credit card used to hold the room has a hold on it for up to 10 days, even though it was not used to pay that way. Management just basically said oh well that is the way it is. Very disappointed. The only good thing was breakfast. Won't stay there again.

Front desk Allie was very nice we had to change rooms due to a heavy perfume order which did not agree with my asthma unfortunately it was the Febreeze they use, though I wonder why they need to be heavy handed with it. If your asthmatic like I am better choose another place. Although if it is not something you are sensitive to then it is a nice clean place to stay with firm beds that could also be improved upon in their smaller sized rooms.

We needed a place to stay after being on the road all night. It was clean and they had a very modest breakfast. After we checked I and got settled they called to see how the room was which was very refreshing to know they were interested in our comfort. I would stay here again.

Very Very Very poor. We checked in, went to our room, then we walked next door to have dinner & when we came back someone else had our room. So they gave us another room that had a very foul odor that smelled like urine, the wife was in our new room as I went down to the car for a few things & when I returned to our room there was a problem with the door lock & I couldn't get back in. The manager came up with me & we tried the card a few times & once he even accused my wife of locking the door from the inside. Which she never did. And now we're still in that room. I hope and pray there is no fire & this happens! The only reason it has a star is because I had to rate it. Otherwise it wouldn't had any stars for my rating! THIS IS NOT RIGHT IN ANY FORM! ESP. When it comes to safety!

We stayed in the spa suite last night and it was great. The bed was very comfortable. My husband said it was one of the best hotels he has stayed it. We will be coming back again. Maybe with the kids.

The staff were great, very friendly. Breakfast had a nice variety and was good. Other than that, I can't say anything positive. Our key cards had to be rekeyed twice, the fan in the bathroom was broken and falling off the ceiling, also the sink coming apart from the wall. Also the shower curtains weren't big enough so there were pools of water on the slick floor every time someone took a shower. Main complaint is these beds are so hard, we could not sleep. I actually slept part of the night in the office chair with my head on the desk. If you like your beds super hard, or enjoy sleeping on the floor, this is the hotel for you. I hate to be negative and have never left a review for anything before, but this one had to be done.

I was not going to write a review because "things" happen. However, being charged a cancellation fee due to a room that was not (IMO) inhabitable is wrong. Let me define inhatible, a strong musty/moldy odor, bedding damp, very humid and perfume smell to try and cover up everything. We tried opening a window & walking around to let room air out. It didn't help. We explained to the front desk that our child has asthma & allergies. We were told that a water pipe broke last week and that was one of the rooms affected. (Explains why the TV was brand new and cord was not plugged in) Front desk offered an upgraded room, we just wanted out. We were given a cc refund and went on our way. We woke up this morning to an email stating that we were being charged a cancellation fee as a no show. Please anyone staying here in future check out room before you pay.

Rooms comfortable, clean, and excellent service. Good price and good facilities. Near a good bar and other places of interest.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the decor was sleek and cozy. The breakfast was delicious. There is a small pool there that is great for doing a few laps and just lazying about. There is also a gym room located next to the pool.

Great location with many dining options. Easy on and off several dissecting highways. Clean and inviting. Rooms are clean and bed and pillows very nice. Breakfast was also good with choices between fruit… biscuits and sausage gravy. Etc. This was all at a very reasonable price.

There was a mixup with our room, but they upgraded us for free.

We arrived late and was greeted by a friendly worker. He gave us a different room because we wanted a refrigerator. The room was very nice. Everything was very clean. Pool was nice. Bed was extremely comfy. Shower had good water pressure. Very happy with our experience.

This motel was a pleasant surprise! Check-in staff was extremely friendly, the rooms very clean. Great location for the collesium, and plenty of restaurant choices. Definitely will stay again on our travels east.

Staying there during the week while working in the area. They gave me a Jacuzzi suite for a great price. The tub felt wonderful after a hard work day. The breakfast was really good, and a special thanks to the guys that worked nights for getting it out earlier than usual so we could get on the road for work. Also a thank you to Julie and Chelsey for being so accommodating…
