Hot tub is scalding and the pool has way too much chlorine. Our eyes were burning even sitting beside the pool! The clerk at the front desk added a hose to the hot tub to cool it off! Staff is nice, but need some training in pool maintenance.

Dirty hotel. Saw two bugs, one on my shirt one on my bed. The bathroom was gross, hadn’t been cleaned, tile falling off. My friends AC didn’t work in her room so she had to move, which would have been fine but the employee apparently knew it didn’t work before checking her in and still rented it out. Worst part was that my pregnant friend was toting her baby, luggage, playpen etc. So had to move everything again. Took forever to check in, they put our reservation on the wrong month. Just overall not a clean place. I would not come back.

Room felt pretty worn in, carpets felt gross when walking on bare feet. We got a king suite where it had a “living room” attached and a door separating the bedroom area. The A/C worked in the bedroom area but not the living room so it was super hot unless we were lying in bed. Breakfast area was too small with not enough places to sit. Me and my two year old ended up having to sit outside. Breakfast selection was okay the the staff was nice.

At first glance this hotel just seems out of date. When I walked into my room there was a slight odor but nothing too terrible so I put my stuff down and left for some dinner. When I came back late at night I began to notice the condition of the room and the lack of attention to detail here. I attached several photos of the lack of attention to detail as well as the lack of cleanliness. I travel every week for work. Needless to say I won't be staying here again when I come through in a few weeks. Btw, management you should at least act like you care about guest feedback.

Good value. Exceeds my expectations for the rating it has received. Very nice lobby. Nice rooms. Workout room leaves a bit to be desired but you don't stay in a place like this for its weight equipment. Would stay again.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. 5 stars there. The building itself was a bit dated and showing wear and tear. The room features were also dated and showing wear. So 3 stars there. That averages to 4 stars overall. If the building and rooms could match the staff attitude and helpfulness, the whole package would be fantastic.

Everything was good. I felt the Wi-Fi could have been better. I was not happy with the location of the breakfast. It was too small. I had wait until a table opened up.

I thought their cleanliness, what I could tell was up to par. The only thing that my family and I didn't appreciate is that there was a drug bust in the room next to ours.

The rooms are comfortable and clean. The pool is nice and the water is a good temperature for swimming. Breakfast was good. But the breakfast eating area was very small. Staff was friendly and patient with my young children.

Sheets ripped, duvet dirty. Very helpful staff. Great breakfast, nice pool and hot tub.

I think its a good place to stay if you like staying in a hotel it has good a service and everything but the restaurant is bad because there's a new manager there so beware.

This hotel was dirty. The hot food was cold. It is old and in need of repair. The bed was comfortable and clean. Not sure about pool and spa. Always afraid to use when you see condition of place. You get what you pay for.

We were in Bloomington on business and stay here everytime. The employees are very accommodating and friendly. This is one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed at. The employees had no problem with getting us what we asked for or giving us recommendations to the best places to eat at in town.

I shouldn't complain about what I got since this hotel was so cheap but some things were ridiculous. 1. The staff needed my card if anything happened to the room. And I got charged a extra 50$ and it was supposed to come back to my account but never did. 2. The elevator is sketchy as hell. Feels like I was going to get trapped 3. If I could post pictures on here… I would. As soon as we got to the room the door handle was broken. You had to pull the door handle up and out to get it open. And we were told they have known about it but just haven't gotten it 4. We got into our room and hear right off the bat that the fan is clicking. So we turn it off and when it finally comes to a stop we notice that in one of the fan blades instead of a bolt holding the blade in. It's two coffee straws… So that's 5. The pool and hot tub are a nice bonus for this cheap hotel. But you can smell nothing but chlorine in there. Eyes burned after awhile. Plus side — the staff was decent. BBBut when I had family come and visit me at the hotel, the staff at the front was running around without her work uniform on still behind the desk yelling back and forth with her friend that came to visit her while she was on the job. I'm just mainly pissed I got charged extra money that shouldn't have be taken out of my account. Don't recommend this place. Good luck to you, if you do stay here.

Service was great. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. All staff was friendly. Temperature was perfect when first walked into room.

Overall for 50 some odd dollars I guess it was one of those, get what you pay for situations. The parking lot was bare empty, it was not hidden, but tucked away behind an apartment complex. The hotel for Country Inn and Suites standards is dated and showing its age. I would start with the bad, but there is just too much to list when you have 30 other hotels on just this side of town to pick from. The main problems, the breakfast was just average for a Country Inn, the staff just seem like they are "there", no one is moving about, just sitting behind the desk playing on the tablets. I guess I'm just used to a more professional attitude for someone who is getting paid, evidently in this case to play tablet! (Id take that job:)! I guess I should get used to saying "excuse" me three times before even being noticed. I would have brought up the bed stain, what appeared to be mold (in the middle of winter which I didn't know was possible? The pink color in the bathtub? ), and the carpeting was just old and worn. I've been staying at this hotel, and the Ramada next door. Over the years minor upgrades have been made. That being said, the hotel is showing its age. The elevator feels unsafe, the breakfast is undesirable, some of the guest staying there, looked iffy, and this side of town just keeps looking worse and worse. The staff are always pleasant but I think I'll take my business to the other Counrty Inn if this one can't get it back together. Pro Tip! Do not wait until the last minute to show up if possible, the parking lot is way tooooo small. The manager seemed overwhelmed the morning we stayed, but this place is just getting too old compared to the newer options in town.

Is this a hotel/motel hangout for exotic dancer? We traveled together as a family and the last thing I want any of my children seeing are exotic dancer/stripper/prostitutes. I understand everyone has to work, but to make it so obvious in the lobby while we checked in. Some manager type guy just joked with these "entertainers" about how he'd be up at the club as soon as he got off. His conversation I'm guessing with dancers names was beyond what any parent would want their children to hear. Lap dances? In the middle of a Country Inn and Suites. The cherry on the top, as we exited the building around 5 in the morning we were once again met with the pleasure of a van full of intoxicated, hardly clothed females stumbling out. The icing on the cake was probably how obvious it was the driver went inside for some extra activities…

Very friendly and flexible staff. Breakfast starts a little late on Sundays but the rooms see clean and the pool is nice. Lots of nearby restaurants.

The bad: I was tired after driving all day but it took no less than 10 minutes to run my card. They said they had been true having troubles with it all day. They even changed computers and had the same problem. And then finally it worked. I noticed a review two months ago mentioned internet issues. This is still a problem. They have five links I think to Internet, and all of them are horrible. They work for about five minutes and then they spool off and on and this is happening even on my phone. This is bad for people that have data plans and are trying to stay on Wi-Fi. Talked to staff about it and they said That it is spotty and they could not do anything about it. Back door which is right next to my handicapped room does not work With the key card. So driving the car up to that door and lugging my suitcases and my dog to that door did no good. This was after asking the person at the front desk if I could use that door. You would’ve thought at that time she would’ve told me the key card was not working instead of waiting for me to ask about the key card after I had already experienced this. I then had to put the dog back in the car and the suitcases and re-park around the building by the front door. And repeat the process. Called the staff on the phone let it ring 15 times and nobody answered. I understand they had a birthday party going on, but they should always have staff manning the phone for good customer service. The good: Very nice lobby.

Stayed with pets, great place, friendly staff, reasonable rates and pet fees. A little close to the freeway noise. Recommended.

Specifically asked if hot tub working & told yes (have been there in past when it was down & saw another review reporting it broken). It was not in usable condition. They were using a hose to fill it with hot water, thus no temp control, and so scalding water that you could even put your feet in. They need to fix it properly & permanently or at least not misguide guests. Otherwise nice stay but we would've stayed elsewhere had we known as we were specifically wanting the use of a hot tub.

Good hotel, breakfast, comfy bed, and cordial staff. Anything mind blowing,? No, but a great place to stay!

Clean rooms good staff nice pool and working spa restaurant next door had amazing food and drinks with 3dollar Margarita s.

Rooms were nice and clean. Staff was friendly for the most part. Pool and hot tub was nice and clean. Breakfast foot was sensational.

Do not stay at this hotel. We booked 11 rooms and upon arriving it looked nothing like the photos on lines. We were met by (at the moment) I nice young lady at desk that got us Che led in and proceeded to tell us to make sure we emptied our cars and locked them because they had a lot of break ins. We went to our room and the smell hit us as we opened the door. The furniture was all old and outdated. The walls had oil or grease on them and looked dirty. The carpet was tipped and old. Needless to say we went right back downstairs and said we weren't going to be able to stay there, especially for a week. Some of our other patents said their rooms were just as bad but the title refused to allow them to check out and threatened to call the police on them. Their business center is a small desk by check in and they had no internet. Beware!

Again, our room must have had a dog before us as it smelled like cover-up spray. The tub & shower are old and the sink is worn and cracked. The front desk employee was nice. Only good point.

Building is clean and staff seems pretty nice. Both rooms we stayed in had a musty smell that didn't go away. The beds we're closer to gym floor mats in level of comfort than actual beds.

Visited a friend to swin in pool. It was nice! The pool was cold but not terrible. Hot tub was great too.

Clean hotel, comfortable bed and pillows, wonderful front desk service. Convenient location right off the interstate and close to downtown where there are good restaurant choices.

Shower rod hanging, about ready to fall off. Exhaust fan so loud it couldn't be turned on. Another family in our group had to switch room due to chunks of hair in sheets. Breakfast was standard hotel fare, kitchen area clean and stocked. Overall a lot better $100 room hotels.

Decent room and okay food. Nothing bad to say but nothing that special either.

Front desk people are amazing and the hotel is so clean. The rooms are big and spacious the location is right next a great restaurant with great food! I will always stay here!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Recent renovations have brought the interior of the building up to date. Breakfast was good with hot and cold choices. Our kids enjoyed the pool area and the complimentary cookies. This is a well managed hotel.

I earn reward points for staying at Carlson hotels. I try to stay at Country Inn and Suitrs when ever possible. This is the worst Country Inn and Suites I have ever stayed at. The hot tub was out of order "until further notice. " The tub In our room had no plug. After calling the front desk they brought a stopper to our room. At breakfast, waffles were "temporarily out of order. " The breakfast room was tiny and very difficult to move around. The food was awful. To top it all off, there was a tip jar in the breakfast room. The first I have ever seen in all of my travels. I will avoid this Cointry Inn and Suitrs next time unless they make some changes. These things all may seem minor, and they are, but together they did not meet the high quality I have come to expect from Country Inn and Suites.

Lot's of things to do within a moderate to long walking distance. Wal-Mart, movie theatre (that likes Hindu movies for some reason), a Bob Evans and a Steak and Shake. Continetnal Breakfast was pretty good considering it's free and had a large selection. Four kinds of cereal, eggs, potatoes, waffle maker, fruit, oatmeal, four kinds of juice, and little pre-packaged muffins and things you can take to go. Not sure why this guys hating all over the breakfast here with it's "just okay" comment. Some hotels you pay them and they say "thank you for your money" and give you a room and that's it. Be thankful you got breakfast at all you big blubbering baby.

This Hotel is not only Beautiful but the Staff are excelent and very accomidating. Loved my visit here. I totally recommend it to anyone.

Not very clean and pool was very cloudy and poorly maintained. Continental breakfast was ok.
