+ Historical building + Friendly host + Amazing bath/steam room + Central location — Small problem with cold water tap A truly beautiful place to stay for a visit to Annapolis. The building is a great location only been 5 minutes walk from the harbor and bars. The interior is a lovely mix of historic and nautical themes. My wife and I stayed in one of the sweets on the top floor. It had a nice view of the harbor and the old town. There was a lovely bath room the size of the main room itself, not only did it have a large bath perfect for couples but a steam room shower to. Only small problem was both the hot and cold water taps ran hot. The host is a very friendly gentleman that was easy to contact when looking for the parking for the bnb. A truly lovely stay. Visited in February 2018

Couldn't have been more perfect. Our room was lovely with everything we needed (including a corkscrew! ), and Miguel was a charming host and a great cook. We will be back for sure.

We spent one night at Academy and we definitely plan to go back. The accommodations and amenities were excellent. The steam shower in our room was a wonderful unexpected surprise. We were able to truly relax and enjoy ourselves. Miguel was a delight. He made us a delicious breakfast. The location was great. Walking distance to anything downtown.

Gorgeous, beautifully restored and decorated home with cozy and spacious rooms, Jacuzzi tub, and amazing steam showers. John is incredibly friendly and accomodating, and makes delicious blueberry pancakes. Great location with excellent pricing and service in walking distance of the harbor and shops.

Staff is friendly, met Miguel, he is the cook, it was interesting to chat with him. Loved the location, everything is so close by, naval academy less than a minute walk, William Paca house around 2 min walk. The state house is 5 min away.

I highly recommend this place. The owner is a great guy. He not only was very kind but he saved a spot for us out front to park our car. Very genuine.

Second time staying there, this time in the Harbor View room. The room itself is beautiful, with wooden beams and ceiling over the bed and a huge bathroom with a jacuzzi, shower, sofa, and chaise lounge. The leopard print ironing board was a nice touch? It's located right between the naval academy and ego alley, so the location couldn't be better for roaming through downtown Annapolis. Everybody who works there is super friendly and accommodating. This place isn't haunted, though, as far as I could tell, which is either reassuring or disappointing.

We had the pleasure of celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary here. From our first call to set the reservations we were treated like family. Or host John greeted us join arrival with a tour and some fascinating history on the house. Our room was amazing and the home is located just 1/2 block to main street so we got to stroll downtown as well. We had lots of choices for breakfast and our fruit parfait, blueberry pancakes and omelets were fresh made and delicious. We not only found a great place to stay we had a great host and a wonderful time! Thank you John!

The Academy Bed and Breakfast is a wonderful place. The decor is quaint and charming. The hospitality is superb. Best combination of a home away from home and the finest hotel service. Their breakfast is so delicious too. The place will leave you wanting to come back again.

The building is beautiful and in a great location. We stayed in the Academy room. The room was very comfortable and breakfast was great. There isn't a lot of parking available, other than that I enjoyed our stay and I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful building and decor. Love the library, I picked out "Let's Roll" by 9-11 hero Todd Beamer's wife. My wife and I love the location with all the shops and restaurants within walking distance but not the parking (which comes with the territory like here D. C. & Philly). Breakfast and our cook Miguel were great, can't wait for what he has tomorrow & Monday. The owner Jon is very helpful and attentive.

Great location and all the staff members were very nice and helpful. The food wasn't the best out there, but it was filling and hearty. Great pricing too, much better deal than staying in the nearby hotels.

Very nice, clean and eligant, and good cooking. Parking is in a very tight spot, but they will help you manuever your car. If you have an SUV, pay the extra valet fee. Hot water problems is why I down-graded this B&B to a Four Star. The bathrooms are fabulous in appearance with very nice towels provided, but appearently there is a hot-water-circulation problem — and it wasn't just us. There were other patrons who had to take cold showers.

Miguel and breakfast earned 6 stars. The location is perfect. Though parking is a bit of a challenge. The furnishings are excessive and crowd the rooms. The worst was the plastic liner on the mattress cover. Seriously? After a horrible first night's attempt to sleep, we took it off and the next two nights were much more comfortable.

My girlfriend and I came through for a two night stay. Miguel was fantastic. Rooms were very nice for a bnb. Perfect location if you don't want to drive anywhere. Definitely recommend staying here.

Gorgeous and right downtown! The french toast was amazing and the service fantastic. I recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful b and b experience.
