It seems like a brand new hotel. It's very clean and spacious. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is large and very nice. It's right at the end of a bridge that you can easily walk to get to the city. Also gives you a pretty view of Cincinnati. I would stay here again.

It was great. The complimentary buffet breakfast had a new menu each day. Staff was friendly. It was super clean. The salt water pool was nice and refreshing. The suite was spacious, had everything we needed, and had a terrific view of downtown Cincinnati and all the bridges on the Ohio River. It's a brief walk from the Newport Aquarium area.

The Newport Hampton Inn exceeded our expectations in several ways. It was super clean, fresh, and modern. Rooms and beds were comfy and spacious, lots of room for the 4 of us. Really delicious breakfast. Staff were polite and friendly. Location is great!

Great location, directly across the bridge from Cincinnati and the stadiums. For the most part very friendly and helpful folks. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The rooms are wonderful, great view and the beds comfortable. For breakfast would be great to get eggs not mixed with everything so we all have choices that don't always include meat. The small parking lot is free and well lit. Cars and motorcycles racing over the bridge can get loud. Love the carpets in the hallways. Nice pool that's very popular. Microwave and small fridge in the room very handy. Room ac works great. Bathroom shower is really nice and everything in the bathroom is really clean. No in-room safe. Glad we stayed here and will for sure stay here again.

Great hotel in a good location. It is located just across the river from downtown Cincinnati. Easy walk to the stadiums. The city view rooms give an incredible view of the skyline. You are also not far from the Newport on the Levee area that has lots of food and entertainment. We did all checkin items digitally via the Hilton app. Process was simple and easy. Digital key worked well, though was slow to unlock the elevator. Our king bed room layout was a bit odd. I am also surprised they limited the window to such a small space when you have such a great view. Daily cleaning was efficient and all staff were for the most part very friendly. Breakfast had a good about of options but most included meat leaving very few options for the vegetarians in the family. Overall a great place that we would recommend and stay at again.

Very impressed with this hotel. Very nice, clean rooms. Great location. You can walk to Newport aquarium and all the restaurants and shops around Newport aquarium. Breakfast far exceeded what we expected. Very good breakfast. Will definitely be staying here again!

Absolutely the best hotel my wife and I ever stayed at! The rooms are very clean, the beds are some of the most comfortable, the staff are the friendliest you will ever meet. The breakfast far exceeded our expectations! We thought is gonna be nothing more than donuts (and other pastries) & coffee. Instead, a full all out breakfast buffet with everything you can imagine and then some! If I could, I would give this hotel 6-stars! If you’re in the Newport Kentucky area, looking for a hotel that’s close to restaurants and a beautiful view of Cincinnati across the river, THIS IS IT! Highly recommend it, and will stay here again next time we visit!

One of the better Hamptons we’ve stayed in. Clean. Nice room. Was welcomed properly. Walking distance to the Newport shops in one direction and down to the river in another. Within a five minute walk you’ll have access to everything. Perfect spot for a quick stay in which you would prefer not to drive anywhere.

Hotel room was really clean and nice. Staff was really friendly and helpful. The bed was not very comfortable. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

Had a great experience at Hampton Inn! I stayed with my family for an out od town wedding. The gym was one of the best hotel gyms I've seen. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Parking was easy and abundant. Plenty of snacks and coffee/tea available at all hours. Rooms were clean and the best part was the lighting in the bathroom! Its always a pain to try to get ready for a formal occasion with minmal or poor lighting… thanks Hampton Inn for getting that one right. Overall very pleased with our stay and would return.

Front desk staff was very nice and friendly. Room service ladies walked into our room twice while in the room. Once she had two guests with her. No knocks or warnings. The breakfast is packed and never could locate an employee. Breakfast was trashed every morning. Lines long for waffles every morning. Great location for Newport on Levee or ball games along river. Nice pool but small.

Great hotel to stay if you want to tour Newport or cross over to Cincinnati OH. Everything is well close by and you can walk to many nearby places. Everyone in the hotel were very friendly and the room was in very good condition, all very comfortable. I would recommend it.

If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would. My mother, two sisters, and I spent a weekend here for our girls weekend trip! We were very pleased with our stay. Accommodations were perfect & our room was VERY clean & spacious for all of us. If you’re looking for a place to stay I definitely recommend staying here. I felt safe, as the hotel is highly equipped and modern and no one is even able to enter and change floors without a key card — I wish schools would invest in this type of security! — this is the place to stay if you’re looking for fun, the Newport aquarium is just a parking lot away, there’s a fun candy shop, Claire’s is near and within walking distance. Again, 10 stars, if I could.

The hotel was in a great location, with great views of the river if you're on the right side, and within walking distance to a bunch of different restaurants and activities. The rooms were new and extremely clean and well lit. It was quite at night, and in the morning breakfast was included. I highly recommend staying here if you are going to be in Northern KY or Cincinnati.

Beautiful Room with a view. Clean, Very Friendly Staff. The buffet breakfast that is included with your stay is Delicious. Will be saying at their Hotels when ever I can. You will not be disappointed.

I’ve been staying in Cincinnati for as long as I can remember, and this is by far the best hotel in the area. The rooms are clean, the guest service is exceptional, and the hotel is in a prime location. The only downside is that the breakfast doesn’t include MY usual favourites, but why take points off for that? Stay here!

Stayed before and the hotel is clean and staff is very friendly. Just around the corner from the Aquarium and on a beautiful day you could walk from the hotel. The rooms are very spacious and I love the feel of the higher ceilings. Gives the room a bigger feel. We are aquarium pass holders and have a 1 year old so we will always stay at the Hampton.

My house’s pipes froze and our family needed a place to go. I booked a room at this hotel and it made the days bearable. We were given a spacious, clean and modern room with a terrific view of the city. The staff was very kind and even helped us with a few extras. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This Hampton inn is very nice! The rooms are clean and smell wonderful. They keep on top of the breakfast too so when something runs out they quickly replenish it. The staff was super friendly and accommodating.

Traveling with wife and kids from Foley, AL to ski and visit museums in the area. Staff in the front desk have gone out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable, maintained hot breakfast, dining area clean and neat. Will definitely recommend!

New, very clean and, modern. Staff friendly. Quiet. Breakfast is typical for this level of accommodations. This facility has one of the best fitness centers I have come across in a hotel of this type. While there is decent, food within walking distance, the choices are (in 2017) fairly limited.

The food clearly had been sitting for a while and wasn't very good compared to other Hampton inns. Finally, there was no hot tub at the pool, which is a feature I like. Overall, if you want a clean, modern room, this is an excellent hotel for the price.

Our room was amazing. Very clean and spacious. Everyone we talked to at the check in desk was very nice. There was also plenty of parking. We went to a concert at US bank arena and stayed at the New Port Hampton inn that night. We just walked across the bridge and it led straight to the arena from the hotel so the location was super convenient. It was about a 15 minute walk. There is also a lot of good restaurants nearby at New Port on the levee.

Wonderful hotel. My room was clean and bright. I had a great view of the city. It's close to nightlife. And the staff is friendly. What more could you want?

It was AMAZING! The staff were so sweet to us and the room was so amazing. The staff gave up a room with a view of Cincinnati right outside our window from the 6th floor. I would seriously come back and recommend this hotel to everyone!

We had a great time even though it was only one evening. The young lady that checked us in Stephanie, did an amazing job of welcoming us, giving directions and suggestions! A smile lit up her face the whole time. Even walking back thru the lobby later, a smile and welcoming spirit, truly a great employee to have at the front desk! The room was beautiful, the view amazing. Thank you for a great stay.

Positives: immaculate rooms and lobby, saltwater pool, comfortable beds, friendly staff, hot breakfast that included sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, made to order waffles, oatmeal, fruit, etc. Walking distance to Newport. We walked a short distance to the trolley stop which took us to the ballpark for $1 per person. Very convenient. Negatives: the hotel itself only has 2 queen suites, so they are hard to book. I found their website hard to navigate. There was a lot of construction in the area and the hotel was hard to get to because of that.

The place is under construction and doesn't have enough signs to direct customers to check-in. I booked through a third party and they showed we would be in a suite and we were not. We were charged nearly $200 so I called the manager and she was helpful. She adjusted the price to something closer to fair. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is really helpful and friendly. Overall we enjoyed ourselves. The location is really amazing.

What a beautiful hotel! We stayed one night in a room that faced the riverfront. The view was amazing. The hotel was very clean and modern. The breakfast buffett had great choices and a very nice dining area. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here for NYE and was very pleased! It was clean and our room was well layed out. We forgot to pack our fan so we called front desk and asked them if they had one for us to use, they didn't but went out and bought one and delivered to our room! Very impressed!

Pleasantly surprised with my stay here. This is a brand new hotel with a great location-our room had an amazing view of Cincinnati. We were even able to see into the ballpark. The room was nicely furnished and there was a great free buffet breakfast. The gym was also very clean and new, with all the equipment that is necessary for a good workout.

We stayed in a queen suite. Right across the street from Newport aquarium. Amazing view of the red stadium and great view of Cincinnati skyline. Newly built hotel everything is brand new fresh and clean. The breakfast is amazing; eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, muffins and more. Coffee and juice. Everything was perfect will definitely be back.

We stayed down stairs initially an my daughter woke up at 4 am covered in red welps. We pulled the covers down an bed bugs! I video taped them as I told the kids bag everything because they could have gotten in our stuff. I went to front desk the man politely moved us to third floor we checked an didn't find any bugs. It was much smaller but clean. However our entire stay the older woman at the front desk was so very rude that it has kept me from returning. I am not kidding. Her rudeness was worse than the bed bug issue. I would actually go back an stay on the third floor… lol. But knowing that lady may be there I would rather drive 15 miles south than to be treated the way she treated me. An also my teenage daughter said mom she kept looking at me real mean. That was all she wrote.

I booked a room at this Travelodge FROM 10/14 THRU 10/21. I paid cash at check in which included a $50.00 deposit on the room. I was told the room would be cleaned by motel personnel 2 times during the ensuing week. The room had horrible bedbugs, which I complained about, and they said they would replace the bed and never did. They failed to remove any trash for the entire week. I had to haul everything out of the room myself. The only time I had clean towels is when I demanded them at the front desk, and on at least one occasion, they did not even have them available. This was a smoking room, and there were multiple burn marks and damage to both the bedding and the carpets. I provided my own basic cleaning throughout the week, and the night before I checked out, I spent over two hours with a wet washcloth on the carpets trying to get the debris from the week at least picked up. I had completely wiped down all fixtures, bagged any remaining garbage, and cleaned all drawers, table tops, and the refrigerator. I asked them to mail my deposit back as I was in a hurry to leave, and when I called on 10/25 to follow up, they refused to return it stating the room "was deplorable". The personnel were rude, as just as an example, when I was just about ready to leave, I caught the cleaning crew in the hall and asked them where to take the remaining garbage. They looked at me as if I was from outer space. This is the worst chain I have ever stayed at.

Nasty and filthy! It was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. We had a non-smoking room, but the smell of smoke in the room was terrible. The sheets had hair all over them, and who knows what else. The shower was filthy with hair all over the wall and even the bathroom door. We were scared to sleep on the bed. Please don't waste your money for this crap hole. Will never stay there again.

Pros: 1. Location was great, stumbling distance from Newport on the Levee and at least 20 other bars/clubs/restaurants/attractions. If you are looking for a relatively cheap room, near the river and you don't care about hygiene or having any amenities this is the place for you. Cons: 1. Room was $79, instead of the advertised price of $56 2. Cigarette burns in the bedding and mattresses, the pillows were flat and there were not extra pillows or blankets in the room. 3. The entire third floor smelled of feet and burnt popcorn, it was terrible. 4. The climate control only pushed hot air, and it was at least 90 degrees when we got into our room, we were able to open a window and cool it off a bit but it was a constant battle to maintain a decent temperature. 5. I opened the drawer to put some of my things in it and saw a Gideon's Bible — to be expected, however for some odd reason I decided to open the thing… when I lifted the cover of the Bible there was an empty Trojan condom wrapper on the first page in a pool of unidentified moisture… I am not joking, I wish I was joking… it was disgusting. 6. The minifridge didn't close all the way, so we had to prop our stuff up against it to keep our drinks cold.
