While I did not stay here I did come for a work event. The conference space was nice and allowed for ample room. The lobby area was clean and inviting and had a bar, which would seem to be a plus for guests. One thing I did take advantage of was their plentiful selection of snack foods and drinks. They had all sorts of trail mix, granola bars, muffins, and several other items, as well as soda, tea, coffee, and energy drinks. This definitely seems like a hotel worth staying at if you're in the Cincinnati area.

Dale saved the day. She got us the right room and was so patient with us. Our original room was a King, but we switched to two Queens. The room we switched to, smelled like smoke. Despite already helping us, Dale found us an alternate room. Breakfast was tasty and we enjoyed the property and location.

Staff was kind and polite. The hotel was clean and modern. Their parking garage was useful, we could come and go as we pleased. We weren't given the room that we had reserved because they didn't have any when we arrived, but we were offered breakfast vouchers for it. Overall, a mostly plesant stay.

Great place. Fairly quiet. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the rooms and atmosphere. Breakfast is not included, but there are plenty of high quality choices to order. Large refrigerator with beverages and snacks at fair prices. Bar is very nice, albeit a bit pricey. Try to get there for happy hour for good prices. I stay here often for work and will continue to do so.

The essential hotel. My second review now for your brand. I have to say the environment is very consistent and the staff are all great. Aloft provides the basics with a modern twist. This means that sometimes it just doesn't feel like home. The pantry, seems to be all healthy oriented but isn't all that appetizing.

My husband and I stayed here on Saturday night for an early anniversary getaway. The room was very small and faced some apartments. We could see into the apartments so I'm sure they could see into our room, so we had to close the blinds in the middle of the day, which left it very dark in the room. The bathroom was a room with a toilet and shower then a sliding door (that wouldn't close all of the way) and a sink on the outside. There was no fan in the bathroom and only one light at the sink controlled both areas. So if you turned on the light in the middle of the night, you flooded the whole room with light. I called about getting more towels (and to see where the bathroom fan switch was) and no one would answer at the front desk. We were charged $10 for parking (plus tax? ), even though we did not park in the parking garage. There is no restaurant on site. There is a German restaurant across the street that will provide room service, however, if you don't care for German food, you're out of luck if you want to stay in. Our room charge was $259 for a king room. We have stayed at many hotels that were much nicer for much less and we have never had to pay for parking at any of them (and most include breakfast! ). The only reason I gave a 2 star rating was that the hotel is within walking distance to many area attractions, and the bartender was fantastic. Otherwise, save your money. I would not recommend this hotel!

Great location. Very pretty modern rooms. Great city view. Kind staff. Nice indoor pool. Was an enjoyable stay.

Arrived late afternoon, check-in was swift and without issue. I had booked two rooms (one for friends) and I found it odd that there were not particularly close to each other though I did not ask the front desk to move either party. The hotel itself seems quite new as of this writing. Furnishings are in good shape, though have a "budget hotel" feel. Cleanliness was great throughout the rooms and common areas. Parking was easy and the garage has a posted 7'0" clearance which fellow pick-up truck drivers will appreciate. The spaces were very narrow for even small SUVs parked in the garage. Though I was not a patron of the hotel bar this trip, the selection was impressive. Only issue experienced was related to water pressure in the shower. Flow nearly stopped twice and completely stopped four times in about ten minutes. Some of the finer points of observation were poor, such as crooked towel racks and toilet installed with unequal gap from wall. Not an issue for guests but a reflection of construction practices. Overall, this is a decent hotel in a nice area which I would stay at again if in the Cincinnati area.

This place is amazing! The room was beautiful and clean. The staff was great and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

I would stay here again. My rooms were clean, the employees were polite, it is located right by the freeway in an area with nearby restaurants and things to do. The price is very reasonable. Parking is $10 with in/out privileges. This is a good hotel to stay in if your visiting Cincinnati, Ohio. I did not order room service, or visit the fitness center/pool so my review doesn't take these into consideration.

The facility is well maintained during my visit. Staff was approachable, nice and helpful. Plat status gets u free parking in garage. Aloft is within 1 min walking distance of several eats and bars. I recommend staying here based on cleanliness of facility, hospitality of staff, and great location that allows short walking to eats.

Fancy and modern! The rooms were spotless and the stay was quiet. We especially loved the patio seating and ease of access to restaurants and Newport on the Levee being within walking distance. Will definitely stay again!

Stayed here on a recent trip to Cincinnati. Convenient to everything downtown (businesses, Reds, Bengals, etc). Plenty of food options near the hotel. Purple People Bridge is right around the corner. Convenient parking. Loved my stay here and will definitely stay again the next time I am in town.

Very modern-style hotel with a bar and pool table in the lobby. Room was very well laid out and had a Bluetooth speaker, large TV, and comfy king size bed. The designer didn't skimp on the sink and shower either! Only complaints are with the design… Bathroom door was a slider that doesn't really fully close. A few other things could have been better as well. It was super clean! Will return next time I'm in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay at Aloft Newport. The hotel was modern and clean — the lobby has a nice feel to it, with a full bar, plenty of seating, pool table, and outdoor lounge space. Parking is easy and reasonable at $10 a day. Rooms were updated and very comfortable, especially the bed — among the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept on. Bathroom door was oddly heavy and difficult to work, and provided little noise insulation. That's probably the biggest complaint I could offer. The location is awesome, outside of the hustle of downtown Cincinnati proper but still providing easy access. The Purple People Bridge is directly adjacent to the hotel and offers a short walk to riverfront on the Cincinnati side. Newport itself seems an extension of Cincinnati, and was interesting to walk around and explore. We have enjoyed staying directly in downtown Cincy before, and will probably do so again — but Aloft was an excellent (and more reasonably priced) alternative. If you're looking for a comfortable, relaxed place to stay that leaves you within range of all of the area attractions, Aloft is worth looking at.

Great place. Great location. Broad range of bourbon in the lobby bar. Mike the bartender good at his job. My only complaint is the giant chairs at the firepit weren't as comfortable as they would appear to be. But if you're complaining about that, you're digging deep.

Hotel is within walking distance to several restaurants and Newport Aquarium. Very modern decor. Rooms were clean and spacious. There is a bar and lounge area that looked nice. Breakfast sandwiches were OK.

Great place to stay. Room was nice, not very big. Service was great. Outdoor patio was awesome. Would recommend.

Great location, but a limited view. Nicky furnished and designed rooms, but really need more elevators. Great staff, check in only took a couple minutes and the special request was done before we even got to the room.

Aloft is a modern hotel experience with a few traditional amenities. The lobby is inviting with a full bar and a billiard. Everyone is friendly and quite helpful when you need. The room has a nice feel and has a very modern decor. In general, it is quiet. Although, music is played throughout the common areas. Parking and breakfast are not included but are options with additional cost.

2 Queen size bed room. Stay was amazing, parking is 5 dollars a day but you can leave and come as many times as you want. Parking is like right there in front of the hotel! Had a nice bar, nice welcoming atmosphere! Room was clean even though I still do my own cleaning. Only downfall I had was the day of checkout our key cards weren't working and luckily I always leave at least 30-40 minutes before 12 just in case something happens. My stay was very comfortable and relaxing and peaceful!

Modern and Fun. Parking is $5 a day with as much in and out at you want. Walk to the aquarium or access the walking bridge. The only issue I had was finding the entrance. But I did a loop and quickly found a sign pointing me in.

I haven't stayed yet but, I had to change my dates and they were able to accommodate everything I needed and switch my dates FREE OF CHARGE! Thank you, thank you, thank you! This really means a lot to me! I got the room to surprise my boyfriend who is coming back from Korea (he is in the army) and they pushed his flight back a day so it messed up our reservation. The lady who I spoke with on the phone was so helpful and nice! Thank you so much!

Very clean, modern, nice hotel. Covered parking garage ($5 mandatory charge per night). Breakfast is NOT included, additional charge per item. Fitness room and pool are nice. Additional recreation on site is nice as well. Issue: the fire alarm went off at 7am, and again at 8am, and then at 10:30am during my stay. It was 20 degrees out, blaring loud, and awful. All 3 times were false alarms, but who's gonna risk it? No one on the staff apologized or informed us if it was false alarms or real. The staff here is practically cluless in all regards. Seriously at least ACKNOWLEDGE that something has occurred. They just stood behind the desk looking blankly at the guests as we looked around in our pajamas not knowing what the hell was going on. Very unprofessional. Besides that crazy morning, nice place, good location.

Hotel was great, however the fire alarms went off 3 times in one morning. But there was no fire. No smoke. Only found about upon check out, when we mentioned said disturbance, that one of the sensors malfunctioned. It would have been nice if the staff would've made an announcement that it was all clear to return to our rooms, an apology for the disturbance or even some sort of compensation. If you want to sleep in, don't come here. However, if you want an early morning Sunday wake-up call, this is the spot.

We've stayed at this hotel before, and have loved it. It's very modern chic, and is brand new. They offer budget friendly prices on weekdays for king size rooms. They have a bar, reasonably priced room service from Holfbrauhaus German Restaurant across the street, hotel parking garage ($5 extra), a to order breakfast made by a chef, a pool, and a separate smoking section as the hotel itself is smoke free. The staff is awesome, and are not hindered from being themselves (our front desk person has pastel blue hair, and is allowed to wear jeans). There also is keycard access to the guest floors of the hotel. We love this added security. We love to stay here when we just have to get away from our normal routine, as we actually live only 30 minutes away. This hotel is also connected to Newport on the Levee, which is connected to the Purple People Bridge. This bridge is a walking-only bridge to Cincinnati and other great entertainment places, including Great American Ball Park, US Bank Arena, and Paul Brown Stadium.

Overall good experience. They place a $75 "incident protection" hold on your card when you check in, so plan accordingly. I am still waiting for it to post back to my account. You have to pay to use their parking garage, which is ridiculous. Even though you're their guest, you have to pay them to park on the property. Rooms were very clean and the location and staff were great. The property is very well maintained. I would stay again.

Nice Hotel. Great location with access to all Downtown within waking distance. Parking was reasonable $5 Breakfast was available for a fee. Room was simple. No Fridge or Microwave. The most annoying feature was the lights. Only 2 switches for entire room. No individual switch for bathroom shower so I used my phone light to take a shower since turning on bathroom light illuminates entire room and if someone else is sleeping it would be a problem. Overall was very happy with ALOFT.

I have not slept this well in months. Comfortable beds, black out blinds, rooms that were designed by somebody that had actually stayed in a hotel before. The breakfast was chaos, and other small items could have been better, but overall the hotel and its bars and facilities are great. I would live here if I could.

The hotel feels cold and sterile. The lighting casts a harsh, blue light that reflects strongly off the shiny metallic wallpaper. The room was tiny and sterile. I imagine this was inspired by WWII era submarine ambiance. I cannot recommend this hotel.

Awesome hotel, easy check in, and check out. About a 5 min walk from the hotel to US Bank Arena. You can also opt to take the trolley over into OH it's $1.00. The hotel is really Clean well designed rooms, with a nice TV, and stand up shower, coffee maker, ice bucket and the typical things you'd expect. Parking is $5 a day, in a deck that's across from the hotel.

Not the first time we've stayed at an Aloft, but not one of our better experiences. The room had a horrible view… combine that with the small size of all Aloft rooms, and it leaves you regretting the expense. We paid over $190 to stay here for one night (reds were playing). Definitely not worth that, even with the included breakfast. If you can get this place for around $125 or under, then it's a solid choice. It's close to lots of restaurants and entertainment options. The hotel itself is nice and clean. The staff was courteous. I'm just bummed by our room location more than anything. For what we paid, I expected more.

The only reason I didn't give a 5 is because the room wasn't ready at the time requested for check-in and it took an hour to get in. After a long morning of driving to the area that's the last thing you want to hear. However, this hotel is modern and up to date. It has its own parking garage (that you have to pay for). It has a great bar/ lobby area. The rooms are a little small but for the price they are really great and perfect if it's just 2-3 people. The room was clean and even had updated electronics and outlets for USB inputs. It's in a good area and even has additional security measures to get to your room which I thought was a plus. Exercise room has newer equipment which was great to use! Highly recommend.

Very cool modern hotel chain that isn't too expensive but is still very much a nice place. I really liked being able to go get a hot pocket at 4am from the desk. Oh, and their room service comes from the Hofbrau house across the street. Like… Really? That's just awesome.

Only visited for a birthday party in the conference room. Was very chilly inside. Place looked beautiful inside and out! Very modern look. Really like the soap dispensers in the bathroom that were made out of old liquor bottles. The outside area was very cozy and had chairs that were very roomy. Loved the outside furniture.

Only been on the lobby, for a small business meeting, but I really liked the different sitting areas. From couches to tables to high tops, there were lots of choices. Very retro chic. Doesn't feel like a traditional hotel lobby/bar area.

Clean. Quiet. Very Sims like. Nice ambiance. No microwave but not a deal breaker. Very close to aquarium and river cruise. Overall a good experience.

Pretty nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The power cut out early in the morning, so we woke up to a very stuffy room since the AC shut off, but I'm willing to see that as a one off and wouldn't hold it against them.

Had a great time while here with my family! Loved our room and that everything we wanted to visit was within walking distance. Will visit again!

Very clean and modern hotel! Very convenient to Riverwalk, shops and more. We took the shuttle to the ballpark — extremely easy. Great staff at the hotel. Nice breakfast choices and bar. We played cards with friends in the lobby. Free coffee! Comfy beds! Loved this place!

This is an interesting place to stay. Clearly the cleanest and most contemporary place in Newport. It would have nice views of the river if the condominiums weren't towering over the hotel on the north side. You do get a nice view on the west side to people watch though. Conveniently located across from many bars and places to eat, I consider it one of the nicest places to stay for a weekend to get away. Staff is very friendly, the elevators are extremely slow but the European style rooms make up for it in every way. The blinds come down for a nearly pitch black experience for those coping with a hangover!

I loved this hotel! The price was the most reasonable in the area by far the weekend we stayed. The hotel had the feel of a much pricier hotel and the rooms were very well appointed, tiled showers with heavy glass doors, basin style sinks, and the beds were luxurious with pillows and very comfortable. The room was a double queen and we had plenty of room with 1 adult and 3 kids. Will come back for an adults only getaway. Did not miss a free breakfast with the mini fridge.

Wow! This place is gorgeous. It just opened in the last few weeks. The rooms are well designed and the decor is very modern/trendy! I think it perhaps the nicest place I have ever stayed for the price! We thoroughly enjoy our stay. Good job Aloft!
