Old, musky smell. Pretty sure I got fleas or bed bugs. Havent figured out which ones yet! We have a very nice clean home but since we've gotten back ive noticed ive been getting bites when I sit on our couch or lay in bed. I was thinking fleas because they have two cats that live outside the hotel that they feed scraps right beside the front entrance… nasty cats that sit under your car in the parking lot… but it could be bed bugs also bc the room was so dirty when we got there! Im pretty upset. Ive never had fleas or bed bugs until now. Currently trying to get rid of whatever we caught. Me and my husband had a bottom floor room; stayed there for 5 days. I would say about 3 different families stayed in the room above us and I could hear every footstep, all day every day. There was a small child running around until 1am one night and the receptionist did nothing but told us we were the 3rd complaint. You could hear the roller wheels and a mans boots walking back and forth for about 20 minutes one morning. A very very large man stomped around all night and morning another day. It was awful I couldn't get much rest. Rooms weren't very clean at all! Would not stay here there are a couple other good hotels close by for the same price.
My experience at the red roof hotel was horrible I stayed at this place for one night! Cons: When I would step on the floor my feet would turn black.
