Awesome place, the service really good.

Seems like they've cleaned up the place since the last reviews. Room was nice and quiet. Water pressure in shower was ehhh but the water was hot. Didnt get a chance to try the breakfast. Rate was good.

I stopped here because I was tired. Normally go to Best Western colonial, at exit 101 off interstate 75. Which is a great place. Stayed there many times. Here before checking in I asked about my dogs, I have two small dogs. One just had pups 4-4 weeks old pups. Clerk advise me there's no charge for pups they fit into my hand. After checking out I receive notification from my bank that the hotel charged me $140.00 $10 per pup $40. Plus $100 for cleaning fee. Because they said one of the pup had poop on the floor. I requested a picture they sent me one of a dime size piece of poop. Before leaving that morning we took them out to go to the potty. The house keeper notice the pups and turned us into the office. The night clerk saw the pups and decide not to charge us. But the managmemt decided other wise the next day. If I would have been advise that they were going to charge me $60 for my dogs. I would have gone somewhere else. Also $100 for cleaning up a very small pile of poop is crazy. It was not like all the dogs went potty in the room. All 4 pups weight lest then 2 lbs. We travel a lot and have never run into anything like this. I hope that this post will save someone else from being taking advantage of. In the response.

Near the I75. Comfortable and clean. Hot breakfast. Comfortable bed. Reasonable price. We usually stay at BW when possible. Never disappointed.

The property itself is unassuming but the room was immaculate! Check in was relatively easy, (I had a reservation) and the night clerk was friendly. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because they held $100 on my card for "incidentals", which isn't uncommon for hotels that actually have incidentals? This property offers no room service, nothing to charge to the room so I'm not sure what that's about. Still I always enjoy my stay & would recommend to others.

It took over an hour to check-in, they didn't want to give us the room we booked, breakfast was gross and then the cherry on top was that after being granted a late check-out, one of their employees started banging on our door and calling my cellphone half an hour before we were due to leave. I've never seen more disorganized people.

Stayed here after a 3 night stay in another Best Western Location in Duluth. I gave the one in Duluth 5 stars and was hoping to do the same here but I can't. We needed to stay and extra night in Georgia due to a business obligation and wanted to stay closer to the airport on the last night for convenience as we had an early flight at am and needed to be at the airport 2 hrs early. We first checked into a Super 8 and literally checked out within 5 minutes! The location did not feel safe and the rooms were literally awful. Needless to say we fled to the nearest Best Western for a few dollars more. Although this allowed us to get a good night's rest the quality of the room could be better. The tub wasn't filthy but it wasn't appealing either. Compared to the one in Duluth, this was one was just ok. However the room was clean and smelled good.

Great breakfast, pretty lobby, very attractive pool area.

Our group of 50 stayed at Best Western south lake inn. This past weekend and were amazed at the seamless check-in as well as the accommodations. We couldn’t have ask for more. The management and staff went above and beyond to meet all of our needs. The pool was great and breakfast each day was wonderful. Thanks for everything.

I am having to drive about 3 hours (sometimes longer in the traffic) to see a specialist at Emory University Hospital. This Motel has been a perfect place to stay. It is very clean. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. Quiet here. I have already needed to stay there twice in the past month. I will be going back 2 more times in the next month. Thank you to all the staff that is good to us and works hard to make our stay pleasant.

We often stay in Best Westerns when traveling, this one provides quick on/off access to highways. Located next to a Cracker Barrel if you need good home food. The rooms and buildings are rather dated and the beds were less than comfortable (2 Queen room). The room was clean & plenty of hot water, food A/C, and fridge. The TV channels were not digital nor HD. Staff was courteous and provided quick check in/out service. Morning breakfast was decent but we've had better at other BWs.

The location has segmented buildings which was different but completely fine. We didn't get a chance to try the pool. The room had to big queen beds which were great for us and the kids. Breakfast was the usual fare and we ate it up.

I am so grateful for the kind employees, who after a very rough day of delays and missed flights were able to accommodate me on such short notice. The room was simple but lovely! I only wish I had more time to enjoy the jacuzzi tub.

The rooms are pretty nice for the price. The layout is a little off, but still good. Only issue I've had is they didn't bring more towels like I asked.

Had a over night stay and was invaded by roaches. Roaches crawling everywhere in the room. The staff at the front desk stated she couldn't move us because they were booked up. Had to leave at 2 am to find another room with no refund. Never again.

Although dated in appearance, this hotel was very pleasant to stay in. You could drive almost up to your door. It was an easy exit from I-75 but the hotel was set back enough that there was no traffic noise at all. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable. I would recommend asking for a ground floor room, especially if you have much luggage, since there is no elevator. I would gladly recommend this hotel to others.

Great location. Room are extremely clean. There are many fast food chains nearby and shopping centers.

The hotel has clean facilities and feels safe despite having outside doors to the rooms. The breakfast met expectations for quality of food. The breakfast area is quite cramped, especially with a group and when busy. The staff could be more friendly. While they seem qualified and do their job, the staff did not seem focused on the quality of the customer's experience.

I wish I could rate them higher because the room was really nice… However, the manager, Melanie, had the rudest tone I've ever heard. I heard it when I checked in and out the hotel. When I was checking out, I announced my displeasure in finding out there was a $100 "incidental hold" when we got there on Friday. I made my reservation over the phone on Wednesday with Marissa and asked if there was anything I needed to know about checking in. I was told they didn't accept cash; nothing was mentioned about an "incidental deposit". I expressed my displeasure to Melanie and was met with, "she's new". I sympathized but also stated that when money is involved, Everything must be disclosed; new or not. Also, housekeeping was knocking on the door at 9:12am checking if anyone had checked out… Checkout is not until 11am! I should NOT have been awakened by housekeeping at that hour. I didn't take the time to say anything because I knew it would fall on rude ears. Other than this, the hotel is on a major thoroughfare, close to I-75, and Southlake Mall.

Clean quiet rooms. Microwave and fridge. Laundry coin op available. Was able to stream Blackhawks game without problems. Good price, parking right out the door. Complimentary continental breakfast and great price. Called to check availability, and had room for me, (called after 7pm for same day! )

Great rooms, dog friendly, lots of areas to walk dogs, great breakfast (including biscuits and gravy, waffles, and awesome grits). Plus, just a few miles of NON — x95 highway driving to the Expo center.

Our stay at the Southlake Inn was for one night so that we could get to the airport the next day. The facility is a bit dated but well run, friendly, and a good value. We learned that getting to the Atlanta airport from the south was easier than from the north and the motel rates were better. Southlake's room was clean, the breakfast much better than most Best Westerns, the rate was quite good, and the staff most helpful. We would recommend the motel.

UPDATE: I give fair reviews. My bank contacted me today 12/28/2017 with a fraud ALERT. Their concerns were this hotel held $88.00 and then a day later charged me $188.00 and did not issue a REFUND for the original $88.00 held. This is bad service and now that you are reading this ensure upon check out your credit card is not overcharged for your stay and also any holds which take place are either refunded and/or added to your balance instead of simply charging your card and not releasing or refunding what they held upon your arrival. I have stayed here several times and gave the hotel 5 stars. Customer service is essential to your continued success. However this hotel failed miserably in customer service. When a customer is told his or her rate will be $ 71 99 INCLUDING Tax but you charge an additional $18.00 per night is unethical. Its unethical and wrong because I was told the rate of $7199 would my rate including TAXES. Very misleading and very non customer service reply. There was bo attempt compromise and as a previous guest one would think yes let's make it right. Being treated like this I will shop around the hotels next to you which there are several and hopefully be treated with better customer service.

Very happy with our stay at the Best Western in Morrow, Atlanta, GA. The staff were exceptional and the room was completely refurbished recently. The breakfast was an added addition with everything was presented very well. The dining area was modern and very comfortable. We had no complaints at all. We would definitely stay here again and would consider Best Western anywhere else.

Totally not what I expected for a Best Western hotel, or maybe I'm wrong, it's a motel. It's like a little roadside motel where you just walk off the streets and go to your room. The picture is very deceptive, seeing the entrance to the lobby, I thought I would check in, walk around the corner to the elevator to get to my room. Instead I was told my room was across the way, I'm like what! It was very scary, I don't like my hotel room door to be right outside. Never again.

I have stayed at this location over the years for various reasons. I will say, the front desk staff is always friendly and professional. In the beginning, the rooms were clean and quiet. I have never opted for breakfast, but it looked pretty decent. My last three stays have been sub par. One stay, I was given a room that had not been cleaned. We're talking unmade bed, dirty tub, towels on the floor, etc. The subsequent room I was given had a door knob that came off when you attempted to open the door. My most recent stay was in a dank room with bugs… the flying kind. Flying ants, knats, etc. The television reception was also poor. The worst part of both stays was housekeeping. On two occasions, housekeeping came to the room prior to checkout. One time, the housekeeper let herself in, as I slept and rudely told me it was time to check out. This last time, the housekeeper continued banging (at 9am), even after I told her I was still in the room. Lastly, be aware they have recently instituted a $100 upfront deposit. While I do not mind deposits, it would have been nice to have been aware of this in advance. Again, I will say front desk is nice. The bathrooms are always clean, as are the beds, fridge and microwave. The carpets, I believe, are the reason for the mildew effect in the rooms. However, there is no excuse for the behavior of housekeeping.

If you're ordering through a travel agent, please follow up with the hotel to see how much of a fee that you're going to be paying for incidentals up front. There's a $10 a day fee for pets. All together, my stay was nice, the air conditioning could use a little reworking but the rooms are spacious, and very clean. Continental breakfast from 6 am — 10 am is very nice and I was surprised at the variety of choices.

I Checked into this Hotel with my two children on the weekend of September 9, 2017. One of the Front Desk staff was trying to be helpful regarding my Elite Reward package, when the manager named Melonie, rudely, interrupted and asked her the room number in which I was staying. And in my presence told the Desk clerk that she did not want any complain from any of the rooms. I assumed she was referring to me because I lodged a complain with Best Western Customer Service the last time I stayed there. But I completed check-in without any upgrade or Elite reward Package. At about 1Am on Saturday night I was awaken by the ringing of the telephone. The phone rang 3 times. Each time I picked up the handle and said hello but no response on the other end except someone breathing into the phone. In the morning of 09/10/2017, at about 9: 30 am some hotel staff came and picked up all dirty towels, promising to bring them back shortly. We were ready to take a bath and up to 1PM, nobody brought back the towels. So I called the front Desk at about 1:05pm and Melonie answered and I told her that we need towels to take a bath, and she said she would send the towels. I asked her do you know who is speaking, and said yes, and quoted my room number. At 1:15pm she sent only one set of towels. So I called back for two more sets we three — myself and my 2 children-but she was argumentative as to why I did not tell about the number of people in the room.

I was actually surprised at the cost once we arrived, it should have been cheaper and offered an hourly rate. It was absolutely disghusting. The sheets were stained, it smelled like wet dog, there were holes in the ceiling. I have walked into condemned buildings in better shape. We stayed there just long enough to call a cab and leave. It took the cab 45 minutes to get there and that was 46 minutes too long. Please don't ignore this thinking that I'm picky or crazy. Do yourself a favor and pick a different hotel, it's worth whatever it will cost you.

Overall, the motel is clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. Love the idea of the clean remote. Staff is pleasant. Only thing that made the stay less than par was the outside noise of other guests. Would stay at this location again.

Nasty AF! Black mold in room 222! Lawanda sleep at the front. Didn't want to open the door at 1:30 am bc she's scared of dogs! Manager said it's her propagative to dislike dogs. I told her she need not work where she will in counter dogs. They are our family so when you disrespect my dog you disrespect me. Manager was too busy calling and reading a note to give her undivided attention. This was a AAA approved hotel and I told them they need to take them off!

Check in staff was excellent. Now I stayed at a lot of best westerns and enjoyed all of them, except this one. They did not have the furniture setup that I wanted even though corporate said they did so I dont blame them. But upon check out I needed towels and had to make several requests and when I got them it seems that staff had an attitude. I Understand you have a job to do but as a customer (platinum member) when I am in need your job gets put on hold until I am satisfied.

Great bang for your buck. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, and one of the better breakfast spreads I've seen from chain hotels.

Nasty. Smokers everywhere. This hotel has smoking and non smoking rooms, but even the non smoking rooms smell like smoke. Even my car smells like smoke now from the 10 seconds that I had the door open in the parking lot. If you're a smoker, this is the place for you. Non smokers, avoid. There are many other hotels in the area that don't cater to smelly drug addicts.

My kids wanted a mini vacay away from the home so I decided to bring them to this hotel so they could swim and relax for Independence Day. But by the end of our stay, I was being reimbursed ALL of my money. FIRST, my kids and I had to evacuate the pool (after only swimming for only 15mins of being inside the pool) because a child ended up getting stung by a wasp, a they had to fumigate the pool area. SECOND, a big black water bug decided to pay my kids and I a visit while we were preparing for bed! I called front desk for assurance.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, the pool was very nice with a small bridge going over parts of it. Didn't have any issues!

The staff is friendly and courteous from start to finish. Checking in was nice and easy and the pool is nice and clean. Breakfast is hot with variety. The rooms are clean and well kept. The ONLY down falls is the bathroom ventilation. My brother in law took a dump and well you can finish this review.

I stayed at Best Western Southlake Inn in January for two days. The places was filthy and run down and needed lots of work. I had been advised when I checked out to get ahold of someone, but I had used my points for a free stay and decided to shrug it off because it was the last couple days of my vacation. I come home to a credit card charge of $100 unsure of what it could possibly be I called the establishment. First I talk with Suzanna who had found the charge and put me on hold so her manager could explain. I waited and waited until she finally came back and asked if her manager could call me right back. I thought it was weird she couldn't explain it to me but decided to wait until they called to see what they had to say. At this point 2 hours had gone by so I decided to call back myself and talk to manager. Suzanna then told me she was sorry but there was no manager or supervisor of any sort available that day. Feeling lied to I explained who I was and the purpose of my call and she apologized because she unfortunately was the only one there. I then asked if she could explain the charges to me, I am told that there was cigarettes smoked in the room. I am currently 8 months pregnant at that point I was 6 months pregnant and NOT A SMOKER I was appalled. I asked how that could have even been determined she said the housekeepers had even taken pictures of ashes in the room. I then asked if they could be sent to me I was going to dispute the charges.

Rude staff! Asked for lower floor, they said all was full, late that night there was only 10 cars there, guess they took all the lower rooms in 3 buildings … lol. Rooms are ok, outside doors, train close. 3rd night Room key was not working went to front desk and employee was So STONED! I kept asking her if she was ok, so sad. Only good thing location was good.

Rooms are nice for the price but don't let them pre authorize your card before you check in cause they will charge your card twice so make sure you look at your card statement but other than that rooms good bed comfy good 11th channels the Wi-Fi good, showers water pressure could be better as well as the size of bathroom could be bigger you have to go in side ways almost, and the breakfast I went n they had boiled eggs waffles cereal etc was no meat not much choose from.

The beds are extremely comfortable with plush pillows. We booked a smoking room and it smelled awesome there's wasn't any signs of previous smoking. The staff was awesome and they were always available.

My room was located on the second floor in the second building. The desk clerk who received me was professional, courteous and efficient. The rate was $65 base over the Thanksgiving holiday. So not much demand. My bedding, carpet, and restroom were all super clean and well stocked with linen. The television/remote, heating/air unit, microwave and refrigerator, and all lights worked fine. The secure, free Wi-Fi in my room was a strong 5 mbs. The parking area is well-lit and there was no noise problem. The breakfast bar continental breakfast was fresh, well stocked, and the area clean and well-managed. I was impressed with the care and attention to detail by the management and staff of this Best Western motel. The standards of this Best Western are consistent with the Best Western of Franklin Tennessee where I stayed last Christmas.

The room was OK. We reserved the room with our business credit card, but couldn't use it to check in because the business's name was on it and not a specific person's name. There was no problem with this reserving the room on tge Best Western website. There weren't enough towels. Granted, I realize that it was just 2 of us in the room, but the amenities were just lacking. There was 1 teeny tiny bottle of shampoo, no conditioner, and only 1 washcloth. Every other hotel/motel I've ever stayed in had an extra blanket in the room. To get one, I had to walk down to the office to get an extra blanket. I patiently waited in line while several truckers ahead of me got rooms. The woman doing check-ins who I believe was also the mgr, checked in 2 of the same men to the same room then acted like it was their fault she misunderstood them wanting 2 rooms. I knew what they wanted and I came in on the tail end of the conversation. After taking another ten minutes to correct her faux pas, I finally got to the counter and asked for a couple of extra blankets. She told me that she could only give me one and before she'd give me that one, she took down the room number and added a note to the paperwork they kept. The blanket was itchy and stiff as a board. Also only one room key worked. The clock wasn't set anywhere near the correct time. The jacuzzi tub that was in the room's jets did not all work. That was also where the water came out of to fill up the tub.

Clean comfortable value. Great rate and just 15 minutes south of the airport. Easy access to shopping and area sights.

The best place I stayed in.

​Pros: Comfortable bed. Working TV, channel up on remote broken. Refrigerator, no freezer. Microwave, cant even cook popcorn. Cons: Overpriced for bare minimums, not worth $120. I reserved a handicap room which they gave to someone else. Whirlpool and king bedrooms were not available. No conditioner or lotion, not even at front desk. Ridiculously loud shower head, can easily be heard from neighboring room, I was startled around 2am. I woke again to train horns. Lamp plugged into broken outlet. Slipped on painted concrete dropping crapping breakfast pastries. Employee opens door without knocking around 9am, checkout is 11am. I definitely would have went elsewhere if I did not have a gift card. I will associate this experience to all Best Westerns.

Great little place for the rate.

I had to change my room was dirty and the train that was passing by it was impossible to watch TV or sleep.

Was happy with our stay. Had a hard time finding good hotels for reasonable prices that had decent reviews in the area. Booked ahead online, check in was easy and pleasant. Room was nothing fancy but we spent our time here out and about so all we needed was a clean place to sleep and shower! Breakfast was your basic but no eggs or hot food except waffle maker. Maybe because it was weekday? I'd stay again if coming to the area.

Very disappointed with the room; these rooms looked nothing like there website, they feel dirty and smell as of smokers. The Linen and Bedding looked as if it has not been washed. After seeing the room, I could not have my family stay in there and decided to leave even though we just drove 800 plus miles; I could not wait to continue to drive on to find a better place or just sleep in car at the rest stop. Not what I expected from Best Western and after see this place I won't stop at any other Best Western in the future.
