This hotel was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. You pay all expenses upon check-in otherwise I would’ve asked for a refund. Asked for clean sheets the first day of our stay. Then realized they were the same sheets with the same stains, the maid had just made our bed. Towels were dirty before we even used them. Parking was ridiculous, half the time we were lucky if we didn’t have to park on the side of the building. Really wanted a refund, but didn’t want there to come up with unexpected charges for “checking out early, ” as it said on the website, there would be no refund. Ridiculous!

I love coming to this hotel! The staff here is amazing and very friendly and respectful! I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling! The rooms are always clean and the pool is clean and perfect temp! Very family friendly! And a yummy breakfast included!

When we arrived to check in the “manager” was extremely rude and stated that we couldn’t check in because the system was down. Then he rudely told us to wait to a few a minutes. Then the system was back up and he was able to check us in. We dropped off our suitcases and stuff and headed out for the day. We got back that night we noticed that the comforters on both beds had stains on them, one of the beds wasn’t on the frame properly, and I found a condom wrapper in the night stand drawer on top of the Bible. We were treated like we were inconveniencing them by asking for two extra pillows and an extra wash cloth. Upon checking out the “manager” was rude yet again trying to say we were angry when we checked in and that’s why our room wasn’t checked throughly. We remember exactly what was said to us when we got there. We were told the system was down and not that there wasn’t a room ready. In both my email confirmation and my text confirmation, which I showed the “manager”, it said we could check in at noon. I will never stay here again! Don’t stay here! The refrigerator sucked and the microwave didn’t work! I’m just glad neither one of my boys found that condom wrapper. Worst hotel ever! Oh and when we checked in the “manager” had his wife and toddler behind the desk! Extremely unprofessional!

The staff is so RUDE now, im not sure if they changed owners/management or I just got lucky everytime I stayed with them. They act like asking them to do their job is a chore… they rolled their eyes, always on their personal phones, hum and hawing about everything. Just plain rude. When I have stayed here in the past I would have given 5 stars! Everything was great, breakfast was a hotel breakfast, staff was accommodating, rooms were clean and it was awesome for the price. I really only chose this hotel because it had a pool! BUT… I came to visit a friend here at about 9:30am and the front desk/manager (not sure who exactly) came knocking on the door but they told my friend that they had video of them smoking in the pool area (after hours) … they had not even gone to the pool! What a joke! After telling them that… the lady just stood there like oh shoot what do I say now… she finally stutters out you are on the do not rent to list or something similar to that effect… thank god my friends only had one night left because they would not refund our room! I cant believe they said that! Another one of my friends had a similar problem and even if there was a do not rent to list they couldnt have been on it because they had never been here before! What a freakin joke! I had no problem staying here or telling other people that for the price it isnt that bad of a hotel especially because they have a hot tub and pool but not after those to incidences.

The service is great and friendly. They could have better beds, I still got a decent night's sleep.

Bob is very inhospitable. Controlling and somewhat rude. Usually on the phone and not paying attention to anything you ask him regarding your stay. This place also likes to charge extra taxes arbitrarily, if you're not paying close attention to your bill. Pool is an unappetizing green color. House keepers are very sweet!

Front desk lady was nice and helpful. My bed was hard and had cigarette burns on the blanket, and a towel had a hole. But hey it was 60 bucks…

Honestly, the owner is remolding this place but it needs a lot of work. That goes for the other motels in the area. Honestly, until this place is "CLEANED UP" in more than one way, I would go somewhere else. It's getting there, just not today.

Nice staff. I liked the fact that the rooms had wood floors instead off carpet. Rooms are very tiny tho and Wi-Fi rarely worked in the evenings. Also not in the greatest area. The breakfast was pretty lacking also. We stayed for 3 weeks when we moved to the area. I wouldn't stay here again but it wouldn't have been terrible for a night or two.

Rooms are clean and comfortable, prices are good for the area. Parking is at a premium and unable to park in the lot if returning late at night.

Great room in a great area. There's always police around because people claim its a bad Area but I don't see it. Staff has changed a bit but they are still friendly.

This Econo Lodge is located super close to Peterson AFB in a middle class quaint neighborhood. The room was clean and the hotel was quiet. I had no issues with anything. If security is what you look for when you need a home away from home, this is your spot. I would definitely stay here in the future as well as recommend it to anyone needing to visit someone enlisted serving our country at Peterson AFB!

Can't beat the price. Staff have been friendly so far. We had a yellow jacket in our room crawling around, it got on my sweater so when I put it on I got stung 5x other than that, rooms are clean, small, they have fridge and microwave, the TV service is a bit blurry. Washer works great but dryer takes a few rounds to dry medium load. It was quiet so that is awesome.

Horrible rooms, old and stuffy. Pool area was sour smelling and unkempt. No handicapped access except for the back ramp to the smoking area. Not cool. Your view from the back rooms on the east side of the building is a dirt and rock parking lot with a hand operated car wash in it. I guess my opinion is this is acceptable at $60 — $70 a night but not $135 non refundable per night price. I paid less the next night at a Hilton. The "continental breakfast "consisted of 3 day old stale mini bagels, muffins, cereal, coffee and a waffle iron.

Pretty laid back spot. Not enough channels for cable. Internet not very fast. Yes, I'll be back. It was relaxing and the pool worked!

The people who worked here were nice. Not super aesthetically pleasing and super thin blankets; but I truly did not expect much. It was very quiet however even though every night the parking lot was full. It is right outside Peterson AFB.

I will say that this hotel is not the best High-Tech high quality but oh my God it was so quiet and comfortable and safe I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone and the maids kept my room spotless.

Rooms were nice but every other aspect of the hotel sucked. Not many options for breakfast. (No fruit just muffins, bread and weird chewy pancakes. ) Staff was terrible. Pool smelled really gross, there were cig butts in the pool room plants. Terrible location. You get what you paid for, and we overpaid!

Good value for what you pay for. The location of the hotel is a bit tricky coming off of the GPS. It's tucked in behind a gas station. The staff was very friendly. We had ordered pizza and they didn't bring plates or napkins so the guy working the desk was more than happy to give me some. The room was clean and pretty spacious. The only thing that could have been better was the blanket on the bed. It was just a fleece blanket in between two sheets. A comforter would've been nice. The decor was a tad bit outated, but for one night it wasn't a deal breaker. Definitely would recommend if you are looking for a cheaper, clean place to stay for a night or two.

Rooms are decent, breakfast is lacking, location is convenient. Not my first choice but one of the few hotels that had available rooms. My room was clean, that's the most important.

This is one of the worst hotels I've ever been in. The pool is tiny and slimy with filth, though it has enough chlorine that you will have to run back to your room to rinse your eyes if any gets on your face. I'm glad I turned on the hot tub jets a few minutes before going to get in. It started to fill with this nasty thick foam, since I had already asked the front desk for pool towels being told they'd bring them in a minute I waited for staff to come by to ask about the hot tub issue. I was told they would fix it, which meant pouring a couple of bottles of chemicals in to it and telling us it was safe to use. The extra cost of an upgraded room with a jacuzzi tub in not worth it at all as the tub is loud and poorly functioning and can barely fit a medium build man. There seems to be a tub issue in the room above us as well since there is a large water spot and a huge crack in the ceiling making me feel super secure a tub isn't about to crash in on my head. I'm sitting here writing this on internet that cuts out every few minutes as I can't sleep because the bed is hard and I'm fairly certain I caught some sort of cold/flu from the pool water and can't breathe. The staff has been less than friendly hassling me at every chance. I passed up plenty of hotels with better reputations because of the promises made by the front desk which none have been delivered. I'd give this place less than one star if I could.

Clean rooms, nice little pool area with a hot tub for the price. Continental breakfast was pretty average. They did have an automatic pancake maker but the pancakes we're a weird rubbery consistency. The beds were pretty uncomfortable but we had a mini fridge and microwave in our room which was nice!

The motel staff was helpful and kind! The rooms were clean! They cleaned our room everyday! The pool was clean but had too much chlorine in it! We would definitely stay here again! The breakfast could be improved! Other than that no problems! Thank you!

The front desk (Bob) was extremely helpful when I made a mistake booking, going so far as to work with me and price line until the issue was resolved. I was very happy woth the level of service provided.

The location is extremely convenient for where I visit. Hot tub and pool which are great and are indoors. The rooms are clean and not small. They have microwave and fridge in each room. Free breakfast in the morning which is really limited and the Wi-Fi is basically non functional. But you have cable in the room. Hot water works great. AC and heater work great. You will not find a better hotel for the price. It is an extreme value for the money. Staff is great. Typical travellers stay here. Not hoodrats and hookers. No elevator so be prepared to carry your bags. But overall this place is perfect for my stays. I stay here 6-8 times per year.

I've had the pleasure of staying at this establishment for over many years, without a single complaint. Last night I stayed in your hotel and felt very disrespected in the case of invasion of privacy. The toilet had a problem with the switch sticking making the toilet run. I had the do not disturb sign on my door when there came some frantic knocks at the door. When I went to answer the door the manager Victoria, who has always been wonderful to me, pushing against the door, forcing against me pushing, to get into my room. Instead of asking if my toilet was running she forced herself into my room and happened upon a very naked individual in the room. The invasion of privacy was very dishonorable in feeling that the hotel would honor not coming into my room unless under a emergency or invited. When spoken to about the incident the manager said no worries I saw you covered up and I'm like a mother. I feel that I won't be coning back to this hotel at any time in the future.

The cleanliness of the rooms deserve 5 stars, but unfortunately there's NO overnight security at this place. The motel's external doors are UNLOCKED at night, and there aren't a lot of lights around the sides & back of a place! I get it that small motels can't afford to staff 24x7, but this motel is in a somewhat sketchy part of town & is next to a liquor store. That, paired with the fact that Colo. Springs has a rep. For being the smash n' grab capital of Colorado, along with the number of young men I saw milling around outside at 1:30am on a Saturday make this a potentially unsafe place for customers.

The manager is the nicest lady, the rest of the staff is great too. Rooms were nice, we have had zero to complain about. Very reasonable price and we didn't have any problems with noise. I would highly recommend this hotel to any one on a budget.

Both pros and cons about this place. PROS: warm water, clean, no worry about bed bugs, courteous 24 hour staff, working indoor pool (9a-9p), free continental breakfast. CONS: horribly hard beds, unfinished parking lot, wind gets through windows, barely functioning heating unit, limited entertainment,

I needed some help finding some quick and easy lodging for a friend, and the staff were very considerate and helpful in that process. From my limited experience, everything seemed clean and inviting.

Its good, customer service is good, beds are hard as a rock, TV service is blury.

The ladys were verry kind the rooms and pool verry clean good complimentary breakfast and not to far from town.

I had an amazing time at hotels around the area trying to find one that would let me check in when I am 19 and my 52 year old stepmom is paying for it. These guys let me check in and Denisha at the front desk was a huge help. Place is clean, non-creaky, and doesn't have bed bugs like the other hotels in the area have been known to have.
