Every time I come to Atlanta I try to stay at the Glenn without exception. We just arrived after 1am due to our flight and they were still ready for us. Everything is impeccable. The decor from the remodeling is SICK! For those that don't know slang, means is SLAMMIN. OK fine, it's absolutely gorgeous. Our room is off the chain cozy and charming and just stunning including the views. The people here are amazing and I will cherish that wonderful welcome letter on the desk in our room from the general manager. Don't even get it twisted, The Glenn is the best hotel in the ATL.

We absolutely love this hotel! 10 minutes to Mercedes’ stadium, the restaurant/bar next door was perfect to watch games, staff was so nice, and the rooms were unique with hot water, comfy beds, and the A/C works well. Can’t wait to come back. Well done.

We cancelled our reservations at the Westin to stay at this hotel and we have been disappointed from the start. We were told we could check in as early as 8 because the suites were not occupied. We left from Virginia early to drive here after being told that we could definitely check in only to arrive and be told by a very rude front desk person no. That it is the never the case the room is empty and she can hold our luggage and we can come back. After driving 10 hours expecting to check in where were we supposed to go. She was not concerned with our drive and the inconvenience and very I accommodating. We spoke to the manager and he was helpful and expedited a room to be cleaned. We walked to a nearby restaurant and returned for the same rude front desk lady to confine to be rude and unconcerned. We check in get to the room that should be a suite and are dissatisfied with the set up. Also the carpets and walls are filthy and dated. This really dampened the excitement I had for this hotel. We are paying over 1000 for this hotel that’s barely worth even half that amount. I usually have great experiences with Marriott hotel but this one is sadly not up to par.

Love this place! Greatest hotel in Atlanta for a fantastic staycation! Everyone here is awesome, From the front desk, to the restaurant and bars, to the amazing housekeeping.

Just returned home from a stay at the Glenn (our 2nd) & feel compelled to post about the excellent experience we had, thanks to the hotel staff!
The front desk associate Uriah was super friendly, helpful (provided a few perks on top of our room reservation) as well as wowing us with a bottle of wine & strawberries to our room after learning we were there for our 8th wedding anniversary.
Even better, the strawberries were freshly dipped in chocolate when they were delivered.

This hotel was amazing. The lobby and decor throughout was very elegant but cozy at the same time. The beds were so soft and yet still firm, perfect after a long day walking around downtown ATL. The valet service was courteous and cheerful even in 17F weather. Within walking distance to the Centennial park downtown. One of the nicer hotels for a decent price in the area.

I very much enjoyed my stay. The room was clean. The bed was insanely comfortable. The location is convenient. Jamie was the best. He was kind, knowledgeable of the area, and all around excellent at what he does.

Had a wonderful time at the Glenn, even extended our stay. We always have the best service when we visit, but I want to recognize our bellman Jaime in particular. He is warm, friendly, helpful, and always makes sure we are taken care of. There are a lot of hotels in Atlanta to choose from, but because of the service, we continue to stay at the Glenn.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Glenn! I came here mainly for convenience, as I was seeing a show at Phillips Arena. But the stay was amazing! The service was fantastic and the room was beautiful. I loved that we had so much to do within a few blocks of the hotel. My boyfriend and I are planning a random stay here again soon, just because it was such a pleasant experience. I can't wait to visit the Glenn again!

The hotel I stay in when I visit Atlanta. The rooms are modern and very well kept. Hotel staff is always friendly and helpful for whatever you need. Guests have access to a pretty nice gym and complimentary happy hour. Plenty to do, see, and eat nearby. The only drawback is that parking is $38 a night.

Overall a very pleasant stay. Very polite and attentive staff, bar, server and selection was amazing, dinner and dessert was delicious! Our room was welcoming and warm and the view was very cool with the ferris wheel. They allowed me to decorate, which was nice and helped me with a few final touches for the evening. The missing star was for parking (valet only? ), a practically hidden driveway and their signature waffle breakfast being cold and just "okay" — BUT what they lacked in, was redeemed via cleanliness, artistry, courtesy and staff's smiles and grace. I would stay again, but maybe talk to a planner to ensure we are getting every perk for every dollar spent (can be a bit pricey for a last minute trip) Last note: they did offer to prepare a new waffle but we had a long drive ahead and were pinched for time.

I don't stay at the AC Marriott brands much but I really enjoyed it. The only thing I found kinda strange about the room was the shower is not closed off from the bedroom. Not a big deal for me but just wanted to let everyone know, although maybe not all rooms are like that. The location is great though. It's right across the street from Olympic park. The college football Hall of Fame is nearby, Philips arena, CNN Center, amongst other neat venues. Would definitely come back!

Good clean hotel. Was able to check in early. Friendly staff. Microwave is available upon request. They delivered it and plugged it in promptly. Refrigerator is already in room. Parking is expensive. Recommend parking across street at pay lot.

Awesome hospitality. Loved the room and the bar and food had great selection. Dressier than anticipated. Had a t-shirt and jeans and felt wayyyy out of place.

Overall we had a really enjoyable experience. I checked in using the mobile app so when we arrived the key was already ready. We were upgraded to the penthouse room on the 10th floor. We can't say enough good things about this hotel. We were extremely comfortable and both slept like rocks. Loved the oversized tub.

Awesome place, beautiful decor, very clean. Customer service was very good as well. Even during the free wine hour they had. Had a great steak in the lounge as well. All around awesome place. Highly recommended only small complaint was the size of gym. It was ultra small. Ibworked out 5 am or so. 1 other gentleman was there and we wete cramped with 2 people. Other then than I wouldn't hesitate.

The customer service was good. The food was good, except for the waffle. The decorations were jazzy. I liked that! The room was really small though. It was in a prime location! Right between 2 parks downtown.

This is a swanky little hotel. The room is what I expected for the price and area. I like that it's not a large chain. The character with this hotel is pretty cool. The bed is beyond comfortable! Nice bar downstairs and above on the top floor! Also has a full service food venue as well. Great little gem right downtown!

I went solely for Sky Lounge which is the bar at the top of the hotel. If you are looking for good pics of the city from a bird's eye view… this is it! The drinks were decents but I'm not a big drink. However, the atmosphere was great.

Expected more for an “Autograph Collection” Marriott location. Very small rooms. Breakfast choices were minimal. The burger at the “Sports Bar” was very good. Staff had no clue if I could self park and directed me to valet (imagine that). Will look elsewhere next time. Not worth the price, especially when it changes every night.

I stayed at this hotel all of last week for a business trip, and I must say, next time I’m in Atlanta, the Glenn will be my first choice. The hotel is well decorated and very elegant. But, it was the service that made it stand out. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful and a pleasure to be around — from the front desk, to Glenn’s Kitchen, to the Sky Lounge, to the valet and housekeepers. I have a special shout-out to Kasey (I hope I spelled that right) for being truly o…utstanding. Well done! Can’t wait to stay there again!

We didn't stay here, but my husband and I stopped by the bar then Checked out their skyview. It was beautiful. The have couches and comfortable areas to sit, and hang out and socialize. Directly inside they have an intimate area where they have live music and it's lit up with small white lights covering the ceiling. After 7 there's a cover charge, but seems like a great place for a small group. It's a really small place, but perfect for a low-key, classy night.

Really cool and historic hotel. Rooms are a little small but have a very historic feel while offering views of the city. I'm not sure if this is a policy with all autograph collection, but the breakfast vouchers only covered two items off a limited menu. I've never stayed at a Marriott that had that policy for guests.

My wife and I have been in the Glenn numerous times over the past several years, basically waiting for a Falcon's game. This time we decided to stay at the Glenn for the Falcons/Panthers game over New Year's weekend. What a nice place. Friendly stay, nice accommodations, best location in town. When leaving my wife commented that she would not want to stay anywhere else when visiting Atlanta.

I tried to contact the GM before giving this place a bad review but I have yet to hear anything back. I asked for a suite first of all. The suite with the pretty garden tub in the pictures. I asked the rep twice that the room would look exactly like the picture and I was told yes. My coworkers even made fun of me for asking. We arrived at the hotel and it was not the room I paid for. We only had three hours to get ready and eat for our concert so my fiancé convinced me to forget about it. As we are getting ready the shower was stopped up and overflowed into the floor. The drain in the middle of the floor then bubbled up and had a dark residue with it. The sink also would not drain. I took pictures and ran downstairs to let someone know. I was even very discrete about it. Instead of being given a new room someone was sent to ours to "fix" the plumbing. Now we are really going to be late. After another thirty minutes we finally got another room to get ready in. Now we have no time to eat before the concert so I had to order 50$ room service for two hamburgers. We go to the concert and that was perfectly fine. When we got back to the hotel I asked the front desk to call me a cab to go to the store. She told me I had to go back outside to the Valet. I went back outside for ten minutes and could not find anyone. It was in the low thirties that night. I even asked some employees that were on there way out. No one would help me.

The Glenn Hotel in downtown Atlanta is beautifully decorated in contemporary design. Always very clean and the staff Amazing. I look forward to returning next year 2018. Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanza and Happy New Years to the Fabulous Glenn Staff.

The best staff ever! Excellent downtown location, rooms, restaurant and roof top, but mostly the staff.

Ate at Glenn's Kitchen for lunch with a group for lunch. Service was excellent, servers paid constant attention without hovering and were very friendly. Food was quite tasty and seemed like it had a good bit of care even though it was only lunch. Had a great time overall.

Great service! The Dream Suite was beautiful and perfect for the night before getting married. Only downside is the manager's cocktail hour — the staff is always confused about where it is and if it's happening that evening, even though it is clearly posted in several locations in the hotel.

One of my favorite hotels in downtown. The rooms are small, but comfortable and clean. The hotel's best feature is the bar. A decent selection of food and generally excellent service.

Charming hotel with flaws. The downstairs bar has better drinks. The rooftop bar has a better view. Some rooms are set up for wheelchair access. Those have almost no closet (see photo). Lighting in the bathroom is terrible. Having said that I would stay there again. Great breakfast in the restaurant.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The staff was incredible. From the valets to the desk to the janitor. The service, food, room all impeccable. You feel like you're at home. The general manager mr. John johnson runs this hotel like a swiss watch. Everyone is so attentive to your needs no matter what they are. I salute the entire staff, and give much respect to mr. Johnson for the way he runs the hotel, no nonsense, all business. I will definitely make this my to go place next time I am in atlanta. My room was so comfortable and clean. Housekeeping was on the ball and the front desk was on the ball 24/7. Thank you all at this fine hotel.

A very quaint and unique hotel right in the city center of Atlanta. Rooms are beautiful and spacious. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to many local attractions as well as the Marta train stain.

My wife and I stayed here for the Falcons game and the experience was one of the best Iv ever had at a hotel. Valet parking was simple, Front desk was very friendly, Knowledgeable and very efficient. Sky lounge after the game was the place to be. Great live music and super fast bar tenders. Super easy walking distance to the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Ate breakfast at the restaurant the next morning around 10:45 And the wait was a little longer than expected but the food quality made up for the wait. Front desk even extended the checkout with no questions asked due to the wait time. All in all I will be back no doubt for the next game.

I checked into this hotel on late Tuesday Aug. 15 for a work conference that lasted until the 18th. The moment I checked in the horror began. The man in valet lied and said valet parking was included in my stay only to find out when I checked in at front desk it was $35 per day. I am a state employee and reservations were made ahead of time so we are tax exempt and we pay with a check with was already approved ahead. The receptionist was rude and walked off to have the check once again approved. Once I made it up to the room I discovered there was no mini fridge, there was only a cooler that was warm and never got cold, no microwave in the room, and not to mention no complimentary breakfast. My coworker whom also had a room 3 doors down had no working Air conditioner, her bed had no headboard, no microwave and only cooler as well. We notified them there was no AC and she was given a fan! Not every asked if she wanted another room! WE WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN! I stay at a great many hotels in traveling and this was by far the WORST!

We stopped in to check out the rooftop bar around 9:30pm on Sunday. The rooftop was quiet and slow. We got drinks from Amanda and Heather at the downstairs lounge and they are the sweetest most helpful ladies! Not to mention, they make a wicked drink. Really enjoyed their enthusiasm and giving us suggestions of places to check out in Atlanta. I happily recommend stopping into this bar and getting drinks from these 2. Best southern hospitality found here!

Nice restaurant. We did not stay at the hotel but it's close by. The starters were all sounded good and the couple we ordered delivered. We also had the tacos and they were really good. It was very quiet, only a couple other tables there but our waitress was very nice. She even brought us up to the sky lounge which had really nice views which I didn't expect. As an aside, the restaurant was brought to my attention by gerogia restaurant week, but that special menu was kinda lame so we just stuck to the regular menu.

This was my second stay at the Glenn. The rooms have been clean and comfy both times. The bedding was a little soft for my tastes, but given how friendly the staff was, I'm sure I could have probably asked for firmer pillows if I had thought of it. The decor is very modern. The view from our 9th story room was pretty good — the Ferris wheel looked really cool lit up at night, just looking straight down on a parking deck was less attractive. Parking is pretty expensive, but the valets were very nice.

Great place to stay at for a young guy celebrating his graduation. The décor is cool, the atmosphere smooth and cozy and everyone seems to cant help but be in a great mood. The staff there were fantastic I especially loved the sky lounge. To be perfectly honest, I have no complaints.

I have stayed here many times and it is always great. The staff are the best. Great rooms, great food, great bar, just great!

Westayed in a king room overnight for easy access to the Georgia Dome for an event. We were greeted with a pleasant check-in and a delicious complimentary mojito. The service was friendly and attentive. We also had dinner at the Glenn which was very good. I would definitely stay here again. I will warn that (at least the king rooms) have a window in the shower than faces to the bed. There is a decal /mural but you can see shadows and if anyone turns that light on it floods into the room.

From the time you walk in you feel welcomed. Room was very clean and roomy. Dinner at the Glenn Kitchen was also very good. When we return next year for a cheer event will stay here again. It was excellent.

Great location if you're attending an event in downtown Atlanta. Reasonably priced for how nice the hotel is. Walking distance to the Dome, Phillips Arena, Centennial Olympic Park. Roof top bar available for private events. Great breakfast. Carpet floors could use a face lift. Rooms are a bit tight.

Wonderful hotel and very clean. Great view from the room. Very polite and helpful staff. Best location, many attractions around and activities to do. The breakfast was amazing. Pictures of the hotel look exactly like it does in person. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I can't say a negative thing about the staff we encountered at the Glenn Hotel but the rooms are in dire need of updating. The age of the hotel is charming but they need to do some maintenance and updates. The staff was more than accommodating and understanding though. I would not stay here again unless I heard that they've renovated. The cockroach in the bathroom the last day we were there was what put it over the top.

The staff and valet here were the friendliest I have ever had at a hotel. The rooms are kind of small but they make excellent use of the space.

We had a great experience at the Glenn Hotel in Atlanta. The location is unbeatable. Most of the major Atlanta attractions are within walking distance. My girlfriend and I wanted to travel to the city to visit some of the attractions and get away from home. I am not a big fan of attempting to navigate into cities and find parking so we decided to spend extra and stay close to the things we wanted to do. So we drove into the city and used their valet parking. It was a tad pricey at $28 a day. I am accustom to a valet price per 24 hours so I was shocked to find valet charges for a two night stay but I didn't really mind considering everything else went well. Plus they said you could check the car in and out as much as you liked without charge which isn't always the case in city valet. The staff was very on point. When we pulled in the garage, we were immediately assisted by the valet man. They unpacked the car for us and took it up to the room while we checked in. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. He gave us directions to the attractions we planned on visiting and offered us complementary drinks upon arrival. The room was clean and didn't have any smoke smell which can sometimes be a problem in older city hotels. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was a bit cramped but considering we didn't plan on much more than sleeping in it, it was perfect. The cleaning staff did a fine job during our stay.

The front desk "manager" was very rude and unprofessional. Talked over me did not listen and displayed a strong lack of interpersonal skills. Took away from what would have been an awesome experience. Would not recommend staying at this property.

I came here on a Friday evening for a happy hour with some co workers. We sat in the downstairs bar area because the rooftop was closed for a private event. The bar area waitress was rude and not attentive, several of them members of my party decided to just walk to the bar to get faster service. The Bar lounge area was really nicely decorated and a great place for a quick meeting or a drink.

I love the Sky Lounge — I have never stayed here but have seen the rooms. Very sexy and the decor is very nice. I have also gone to the happy hour on the roof top bar. They had live music for a few hours each time I have gone (mostly on Fridays). The view is spectacular.

Went here to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. Had a wonderful experience, the staff were awesome, very accommodating and helpful; they even upgrading our room. They helped to make the weekend a unforgettable experience. The view from the rooms are amazing. The bed was extra comfortable and the infused water in the lobby is delicious.

I wish I could give 0.0 stars. Pathetic. 06/14/14; I'm a Marriott Silver Elite Member with a LOT of points and thought staying at a property designated as part of their "Autograph" selection would be nice. I've met JW Marriott, and I promise that he would not put his "Autograph" anywhere near this hotel. After 30 minutes of driving through thugs, hoodlums, incessant RAP MUSIC, and obvious prostitutes, my girlfriend and I finally arrived at the hotel valet. He promptly interrogated us what we were doing there (evidently we looked like we didn't belong) and if we had reservations and our name. Bear in mind I was in a tuxedo and my date was in a very expensive cocktail dress. We walked in to the lobby to see a variety of patrons wearing jeans sagging around their knees, rap musing blaring from outside, and just general disorder. The revered "Skylounge" was reserved and we were not permitted to go up there. I waited at the check-in desk for about 15 minutes listening to the ONE hostess telling the patrons in front of me (probably 4 sharing a room) that one of the group patron's DEBIT cards was rejected for insufficient funds and his fervent insistence that "money be in that account, mama!. Do it again! " Regardless, I heard enough. We didn't feel safe; we were NOT safe, and we left. The hostess was shocked and seemed disappointed she couldn't charge me a cancellation fee. We drove home.
