Awesome rooms and the tavern was great!

Clean and comfortable, staff was welcoming and rooms were nice.

Clean and fresh environment from front desk to my room as was the room. Great bed of course. Front desk very nice to deal with at check in to check out as were the shuttle drivers (I lucked out with this)

Judy helped us find all the best places to eat and a lot of great place to see. Whenever we needed help or had questions, Judy took great care of us. Having Judy there made us feel like we were staying with family. This hotel comes very recommended by us.

Friendly & helpful staff who make you feel welcome. Allow Semi parking, which is nice so we could get a load down and then spend a few days here to visit family. Room was clean, could use a facelift. Or, at least new shower head that works better.

By far the worst holiday inn in the United States. Don’t waste your time or money. Sleep on the street before you sleep at this terribly ran hotel facility. Was told it was first come first serve by the desk employee after we were denied our original request. A family came in moments after us and they were given the room that my party needed. The desk only came up with excuses and she then told me First Come First Served. If you want to be treated like a human and want good service do not stay here. First and last time ever will I ever stay at this poorly ran hotel. We did our part and communicated with the hotel staff letting them know we were in a car accident. This is how you treat your customers 🤦🏾‍♂️. Sleep in your car, bus stop, street corner, your dogs cage. Sleep in those places before you sleep at this hotel.

Room smells, shaming non members, bathroom shower has no water pressure and has no place for soap had to put on floor, bed lumpy. Guest loud and staff don't care.

I had a really hard day traveling. When I got to the hotel later than expected Sam was awesome. She had my room ready to go and was extremely friendly. Thank you Sam and Holiday Inn Clearwater! I'll be staying here in the future on my business trips here.!

Just at check in, we were impressed with the cleanliness and the size of the room.

Dirty bathroom, had to be bed bugs, my daughter woke with bites on her from her bed! Staff was not very friendly at all! Contacted corporate and no response! Very bad experience!

I booked a 2 bedroom hotel room for 3 nights and was given a 1 bedroom room…
And I was told too bad, there was nothing they could do.
I paid for a 2 bedroom.
I drove 18 hours to get here, with my wife and 2 kids for a vacation, and was given a 1 bed room and told there was nothing they could do…
Don’t ever come to this place, you won’t get what you paid for!

Very professional, helpful and courteous staff. Rooms are clean, restaurant is very good and they offer shuttle service to both airports.

My husband and I spent 4 days in this hotel. For what it lacks in style it makes up with the staff. From the moment we checked Judy, Alicia and David at reception gave us 5 star service. Alicia and Dave managed our touring schedule and Judy signed me up on the rewards program. The rooms are dated, beds are good and there is a fridge. Breakfast is plentiful but always cold. The location worked well for us. Don't miss the Dali Gallery, could have spent 2 full days there. Thank you for a very personal experience with a hotel chain.

Overall, this was a pretty good experience. For the rooms, the beds and pillows are above average, but the room is pretty small. There was excellent room service. It was also very difficult for me to use the key to get into the room. I was locked out for some periods of time. The breakfast in the morning was nice, and there was a good shuttle.

Checked in super late after delayed flights. My shuttle driver and the girl who checked me in were both so friendly and made my bad day end on a bright note. My check in was made even better with a much needed cold bottle of water! Hope the rest of the stay is as wonderful. Cheers to a great first impression.

Great hotel overall. Price was expected for a Holiday Inn. The bar off the lobby was great, Christina knows how to make a drink and was great to talk to. Billi, the representative, has an amazing personality, just what I look for when I am checking in! She treated me with a lot of attention, which I can't say at other hotel brands. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there were little things that could be updated, like shower heads, and a/c units. Wish I could give 4.5 stars though. Great stay! Thanks!

This is the third time I’ve stayed here. Clean, relaxing, and the staff was and still is amazing.
Just wish the pool stayed open longer. Some of us have things to do as in work, training, etc. Would’ve liked to have relaxed in the hot tub longer.

The service from the staff was top notch. They were extremely attentive to my needs during my stay. Clinton and Matt were incredibly helpful as well. The room seemed a bit dated in terms of the amenities that I am used to having. I had to call down to the front desk for an ironing board and iron and the bathroom fan stayed on the entire time the light was on. Other than those couple of things, my stay was excellent. I would certainly stay here again and definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The hotel was amazing. Very clean and has affordable prices, even with continental breakfast on site. The location is very strategic since there is a lot of stuff to do around. Recommended!

Friendly front desk staff. Reservation states check in time is 3pm, arrived to a 45 minute wait to get in room. Housekeeping or mgmt need some help. A decent but dated hotel. The freshened up older Holiday Inns make this one look really stale.

The staff was super friendly. The hotel was outdated and needed upgraded. The location was super close to the airport which makes it very convenient in the transportation service was super convenient as well.

Service has been great and the food is AMAZING. You must try the salmon special. There are no words to describe the amazing flavor. It was cooked with love and passion.

This Holiday Inn gives out free breakfast tickets for the same food served at every other Holiday Inn for free to every guest, and charges you $10.95 to eat their buffet breakfast if you don't have one. Every other Holiday Inn applies a AAA discount, whereas this one applies the discount and then elects not to give you the breakfast tickets, meaning you end up paying all that discount back for the breakfast. Not really a discount. When the desk help relented and gave my uncle tickets, I went downstairs to pick them up because I had not eaten yet. The man behind the desk said to me "So they send you down here to do their dirty work? " Offensive, false "discounts", overall it completely ruined my stay in one sentence. And it was the most expensive one yet on my business trip.

I was shocked from Check — in to Check-out, everything ran smoothly! Loved staying here! Front desk was by far very friendly and helpfull! I can't wait to come back. Near good places to eat, only a 30 min drive from the beaches in clearwater! Recommend it to anyone!

Hotel is a quiet, very pleasant place to stay. Rooms are clean and well kept. Staff is, great and very helpful. There are a number of excellent restaurants within a short distants and the hotel shuttle will take you there and pick you up. Hotel has good breakfast and restaurant has full bar and good menu. Good sports bar. We will be back.

I was a little hesitant to stay at this hotel and now I know why. The bed was uncomfortable so it was difficult to sleep. Only to be awoken by the sound of airplanes taking off since we're right next to the runway. Then I get a call that someone complained about the noise on my room. My TV wasn't too loud, the walls are too thin. I was able to hear a conversation plain and clear that the man next door was changing his flight. This hotel needs to figure a few things out before I stay here again. I'm willing to spend a little more to have a nicer place to stay.

This Hotel is THE BEST! And what makes it best?! The staff! The front desk staff Alicia, Judy, Liz, Jake, Eric, Matthew alll AMAZING! They are always friendly, always welcome you will conversant with you and make sure you everything you need and f you don’t have what you need or have a problem, it gets fixed ASAP! the drivers dave, bob (Robert), Johnathan, Robert, Bruce (who is now in the bar hit him up! ) make sure you get to where you need to be and even if they have a booked schedule they always make sure to squeeze you in. They also make sure you’re safe where ever you’re going as well! Knowing that the staff is so awesome is what makes me look forward to coming to Florida for work. The rooms as always clean and the food is delicious! Don’t stay anywhere else but here (:

Excellent front desk staff! They went above and beyond in my opinion. Everyone I encountered smiled was pleasant and made a great first impression. Since reward member was upgraded to Executive King Suite and late checkout! It is very close to the airport (reason I booked this particular hotel) you can hear the planes at times but to be expected with location. Plus free airport shuttle. Again, another very pleasant employee drove me over right on time! Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was free until 1 January 2018 then will be a fee. Some things were running low but I did sleep in so toward end of service time. Special praise for Front desk Manager and clerk at checkout. I was fighting a cold and while waiting to leave for airport she got me a cup of tea. Seriously, I have stayed at many hotels and this one was tops for customer service! Thank you for a great experience.

My husband & I had a great experience at holiday inn st Pete Our cousin passed away unexpectedly (& young) & we stopped at the hotel to freshen up from our flight & get ourselves together before joining the family. Cindy, at the front desk, was incredibly helpful. She got us into our room early & was very accommodating. This was a HUGE issue in our lives & it means so much that she went outta her way to help us. Our room was well appointed & VERY CLEAN! Everybody friendly & efficient. Highly recommend holiday inn st Pete.

My stay at this Holiday Inn is always exceptional. The staff from 3pm till 11pm are the greatest (Liz & Judy). But another great thing about this place is Mo the cook. She always has a different special each day. It's a mystery worth the waiting for!

My husband and I stayed here for one night… we were having a celebratory dinner at Bascoms Chop House (right next door) and did not want to drive home knowing we'd be drinking… so, the location was perfect, and we were able to just walk to and from the restaurant. The hotel was nice, and it was clean. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. My only issue was that there weren't any USB ports in the room. It was not a big deal because we really just slept there, and it was only for one night. I just found it hard to believe that there were none, especially in a hotel that is used a lot by business people who are traveling.

My houskeeper Wendy was awesome. The staff at breakfast was very attentive. Bar staff also very caring and attentive. Front desk staff jumped when you said jump… free breakfast, internet, printing, great place.

Holiday Inn picked me up drom the airport as soon as I landed. The driver was super nice and friendly! Then, at the hotel the front desk representative was so nice and funny. I was given room 432 which was spotless and the bathroom had towels shaped as swans. ADORABLE! Overall, GREAT experience, delicious breakfast, and NEVER burnt or bitter coffee. It was the most relaxing 4 night stay during a terribly hectic training week. Gold stars for everyone!

To the staff at Holiday Inn on Ulmerton Road in Clearwater/St. Petersburg FL. The front staff, Eric Parsons and Liz, were very welcoming and accommodating. I received a complimentary upgrade. I also received many birthday wishes from Liz. Furthermore, Liz had mentioned my birthday and I received a personal desert from Moe White who is a cook at the hotel. Moe has a very friendly attitude who enjoys baking. And, I would be re-missed if I don't mention about the restaurant staff at Aviators Tavern. Bruce, Anthony, Sean, and Ally. This is the absolute best hotel I've ever stayed at the staff here are beyond friendly and welcoming. It makes me feel so much more at home even though I'm hundreds of mikes away. And I'd like to shout out Liz because she's also gone above and beyond with a wonderful personality.

Location was great, close to PIE for easy access. Room was clean and comfortable. Met all our needs.

Good hotel and good servixio.

While you work and you don't get sick all right. But at the same time you're not fixed you have a health problem as I had it I was up in emergency there is when you see the good attitudes. Well, I got fired with just one reason you didn't call the hotel and I sent pictures to my co-workers to report on my illness. But that wasn't enough. And also take the papers from the hospital and they told me that since I'm not fixed they didn't serve me anything. He liked the way I worked but I was fired.

We had a wonderful experience. Our request for a room either in ground floor or near elevator was honored. The bartender helped us up to our room when the shuttle driver/bellman was on a run. We were in so late the dining/bar area stayed open for us to finish our meal. The room was immaculate. We experienced excellent service.

The employees are very helpful. Jill at the desk is exceptional. The only complaint I have is the mattress needs to be changed in the room we had. When you lay down on it you roll to the middle and in the morning your back hurts.

After our "Allegiant" early morning flight was CANCELLED (that's another story), we were given this wonderful hotel to spend the day and night in! A shuttle picked us up (again a very nice young man) and we were warmly greeted at the front desk! The staff was incredibly nice and we were given a first floor room with a king size bed. We were also right around the corner from the pool! The room was well appointed and very clean! We had dinner in the hotel and the burgers were delicious as well as the buffalo wings! The bartender can make a mean Bloody Mary too!

Staff is super friendly and helpful. Check in is always a breeze. Rooms are reasonably sized. Comfortable beds and pillows. If you're into aviation, it has some great views of the runway/taxiway of nearby PIE airport.

The charity event hosted by the Holiday Inn was wonderful. They staff did everything to make sure we has what we needed. Water was provided and always full, trash was removed promptly, and the venues used were all chilled despite being packed with monitors, computers, game systems, and especially people. The pool is a little small but it is great, there is a hot tub, and breakfast is six to ten thirty. Parking is never an issue. The entrance is a little misleading, so you'll need to turn way before the hotel, but it is all connected if you miss the first entrance. I'd readily stay here again for an event.

Front desk staff was very nice! Our IHG rewards club was all messed up with incorrect information and the hotel upgraded our room for our troubles, even though it wasn't their issue! Pool was very nice and room clean! The restaurant had the best quesadillas I've ever had! Great food and staff!

This too Close to the take-off zone of the Airport, it becomes something riudoso. The hotel looks old.

The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. Especially one lady at the front desk, forgot her name. She keeps smiling all the time and making others smile too. Breakfast for $ 11.99 per Person was good, kids eat free. We wouldn't hesitate to go there again. And everyone that goes to St Pete you gotta go to PASS A GRILLE BEACH!

Our stay at the hotel was great… this hotel even allows pets small to large breeds which was great since we brought our family dog with us for Memorial day weekend. Rooms where clean and comfortable with staff that were very attentive, we were even offer a room that was near the exit for quick entry to our room on the 1st floor… GREAT! One draw back to this was no continental breakfast was offer but they do have 2 nice restaurants in the hotel that offer food and full service bar. This will definitely be our hotel next time we visit Clearwater FL.

My husband and I wanted a little get away for our anniversary. So we decided to stay at the last minute. When I tell you this hotel was amazing. From Check in to Check out. The staff is just awesome. Miss. Liz at the front desk gets an A. She was so amazing and Jake (from state farm) Lol. Was amazing… The whole staff was so so good. The stay was great and the room was very very clean… we stayed in the 5 floor and it was quite the whole two days… we had the best breakfast from there kitchen both days. Hot everyday and very good. Stayed here about a week ago and it was great. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, our bathroom light went and they had someone come replace it immediately. The building is older but rooms are clean and as pictured online. Overall great stay.

Best thing about this hotel hands down is that they are pet friendly. I was able to take my 75lb dog. If you have a pet they will put you on the 1st floor which was super convenient for walking the dog. Be sure to clean up after your pet so that they keep the pet friendly policy, it is hard to find a decent place that allows large pets. This was a decent hotel for the price. I can't complain, I got what I paid for. If you want a 5 star hotel then be willing to pay for it. If you don't mind having unstable Wi-Fi, no view, small pool/hot tub, and can drive to and from every tourist attraction, then this place is a great deal. The facilities were clean, the room was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. The staff was nice. If you are a light sleeper beware, the airport is next door and you will hear loud planes. I'm not a light sleeper so not a big deal for me. The hot tub was the issue for me because if I'm relaxing with my husband the last thing I want is for 5 strangers to join us, but that is what happens when you have one small hot tub for a hotel full of guests. They should spend a little money on the pool area. However, all around not a bad deal, we paid $133 per night with AAA discount, and stayed for 4 days. Most hotels wanted $200 and up, no pets allowed. The location was convenient if you're checking out different places in the area, we were about 15-25 minutes from pretty much everything we wanted to do.

It was very nice and clean but check in was unpleasant had to come back 3 times after checkin time till we could actually get our room.

My stay at the Holiday Inn St Petersburg N-Clearwater was pretty excellent. Clean rooms, always a plus! Only isses we had were the ftont desk telling us the pool wasn't heated, but there was a jacuzzi-which was drained and surrounded by caution tape! Felt a little bit like the front desk didnt know what was going on! The other issue was in the bar/restaurant. The food and drinks were very good. However, the person on duty was a PM supervisor, and he also didnt know very much about what was going on. The guest info book in the room stated that kids ate free, but when the bill arrived, the kids meals are there and he seemed ignorant of the promotion. So, after waiting a long time for the meal, this delay to correct the bill seemed to take forever.

Seems very new! Everything was fresh and either new or all replaced. Spacious room. Only stayed one night so I can't review much else.

The smell in the rooms unbearable, room service didnt understand English, insects in the bathroom.

What a horrible experience. After a long day of flying I'm told they don't have a room for me. I reminded them that I have a confirmation, but they shrugged and said they overbooked by one room. Tough luck. They told me they reserved a room for me at the (truly awful) Ramada across the street, which they hadn't. I feel like SUCH a valued IGH member. I will never stay here again, even if I had have to plan my business trip around other hotel availability.

This would make an ok days inn. IHG should do better by their members. Lobby gets a 10. Unfortunately that's where it ends. Room a. C. Is ineffective. Bed is pretty cheap. Old chain lock on door looks cheap, cheap paint job and very thin walls. Heard out neighbors all night. They reuse old key cards so we had to go downstairs 4 times and get them changed. Breakfast bar is $10. (the same one that's free everywhere else) I wouldn't recommend this hotel. They're using the holiday inn express make and selling you something else.

I stayed for a week at this hotel. I payed $95/night in March for a one week stay by booking through priceline. The hotel was clean, and the staff were very friendly. The decor and ambience were good. Room bathrooms included marble countertops, and the room was fitted with a new Widescreen LCD. There are well-kept tennis and basketball courts with balls, and racquets provided. Also there is an small but decent outdoor pool (water was kept a bit on the cold side) and a hottub. There is a small airport nearby, but I never heard an airplane at night or from inside the room, though they were loud if you are outside during the day. The breakfast buffet was good. $8.95 for adults but kids are free. Omelette, Eggs, Bacon, Fresh fruit, Yogurt, Cereal, Juice, and Fresh do it yourself waffles with fruit and whipped cream. The room had 2 queen beds which was perfect for my family of four. My brother was there at the same time, and they brought him a mini-fridge, and microwave at no extra cost to assist with his infant. While there are fancier places you could stay, this was elegant, and perfect for us.

They just renovated the entire place. It is beautiful. It had some issues in the past but now that the whole thing is completed it is great! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and EVERYTHING was brand new. We stayed 5 days. They have great food, and the bar had specials everyday. I highly recommend this hotel. We loved it.
