The staff is rude, the hotel is filthy. The pictures are very misleading! There is no safety precautions in place for a pandemic. Was assigned one room and had to switch and the new room wasn’t much better except it was free of bed bugs! All the Ice machines were broke too. If you want to catch a disease, get Covid, or catch a case of bed bugs you will surely enjoy this place! The clientele is awful and the hotel is not safe! Locks on exterior doors broke, doors propped open. The smell is awful in hotel!

Are bed bugs and they have roaches. They are disrespectful and disseminate.

The customer service here is horrendous. One particular front desk person Ariel not only treated my mother terribly when trying to understand the payment options, she hung up on both of us when I told her there was no need to be rude and she retorted angrily that she "had a line in front of her and she already made herself clear. " during a pandemic she should be grateful to have a job and the fact that she treats patrons this way is terrible.

Red Roof Inn was a nice clean hotel with friendly staff I had a good stay. They have a very nice pool. Is very family-friendly and I will stay there again.

Was surprised by how nice this place was. Especially considering it's a Red Roof Inn which typically isn't that great. Place has been renovated and is in fairly new condition. Pool was really nice and clean. Room was clean and accommodating. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend to others. Can't beat the price either for weekly rentals.

Clean, easy to find, and a great location, this hotel is very comfortable and a great value. Of special note: there are many rooms for people with disabilities, and small animals are allowed to stay. Located near many restaurants and fast food, many of the surrounding places also offer delivery.

Rooms were decent. Breakfast was just juice and a Danish. Location next to the airport was very convenient. Staff was friendly. Bathrooms could use a little tidying up. And the elevator was extremely slow but otherwise could stay.

This is a nice hotel, it is quiet and you don't see a lot of loitering. They do take extra care to keep the hotel safe. The walls are thin, you can hear people walking by, but it is a very reasonable price for an extended stay with business facilities. The pool is kept clean, the hotel is fairly clean, and overall I was pleased. The downside… It is an extra $10 per night to have a refrigerator and microwave. Also, their so-called breakfast consist of oranges, apples, and yogurt.

Very helpful staff, Penny who works the front desk in the A. M is an asset. Oh and what I would do without my man Sadat who work front desk A. M too. Great guy very helpful. Honestly everyone here is. I dont have one complaint. Keep up the good work Red Roof staff.

Staff was outstanding. Rooms we're clean and comfortable. We consistently use this Red Roof Inn for our events to housr the fighters and trainers. Not one complaint from our group of 20 rooms. Only downfall is no continental breakfast.

My room was updated and clean. I am one of those ladies that will tear the room apart to be sure that I’m not sleeping w/any enemies! Breakfast consisted of a muffin/coffee which was ok by me but not for some hungry children. McDonalds is within walking distance so that is helpful for a family. I feel very comfortable due to the fact that all rooms are enclosed to the courtyard. I would choose to stay here again.

If there was an option for zero stars that's what I would be putting! My girlfriend and I made a trip out there and booked it for the weekend. Upon our arrival we were ready to get some sleep but everything went to hell in a hand basket when we met "Penny" the front desk receptionist. She was absolutely rude! After she had given us our FIRST key, we made our way to our room to find not only was it not was we asked for (double bed), but it was also still dirty from the last visiters. When we came back down to the desk she was omce more rude. We told her about the situation of the room not incliding the state of it and gave us our second key. This room was still in pretty rough condition but there was two beds. My friend began taking pictures of everything when in the corner of my eye I spot a bug. Needles to say there are roaches, mold UNDER the TV and things put back together with zip ties.

I would not ever recommend this hotel… to anyone. Drove all the way from michigan to stay here for a 4 day vacation. I wish I could give less then 1 star. 1. Staff was rude, main desk attendant was very rude. 2. Was given the wrong room (room was nasty and had dirty rags sitting around) notified front desk, only to get an attitude, and given a room way worse! 3. The room is absolutely trashed. And there are bugs on the middle desk. 4. The tub is stained yellow, with paint chipped off the walls. 5. There is a penis drawn in the elevator. I would rather sleep in my car then here. Worst place ever.

There was no dresser. The vending machine was broken. The room smelled. We stayed on the first floor and paid close to 300.00. It was horrible. In the morning, there was not enough coffee cream or coffee at the “free” breakfast. It appeared as if in the middle of a remodel;however, the rates needed to be fixed if that were the case. Would not advise staying unless the renovations are completed.

Ive never seen such a disgusting hotel in my life. White goo stains on the carpet. Beds practically on top of each other, beds askew and broken box springs. Paint and finish missing from doors and furniture. And the smell. A combination of cheap sex and bug killer. Liars on their website. Bait you with beautiful pictures from corporate. Not at all worth the money. Not worth half.

I'm a fan of Red Roof Inn Clearwater airport. I enjoy the staff and sitting by the pool. And the rooms are nice.

I would consider this hotel one of the worst places I've ever stayed in my entire life. After priceline cancelled my original hotel reservation, they placed me here claiming it was a better hotel. However, I couldn't imagine anything worse. The first room we went into smelled like complete smoke, so we had to ask for a different room. The second room wasn't much better. It smelled like urine/ammonia and it gave me a headache the minute I walked in the room. I would have left immediately, but Priceline wouldn't give us any other hotels to stay in claiming everything was full, and the hotel didn't have any other rooms. It was also around midnight when I arrived. We had to ask for air freshener and extra sheets to stay on top of the mattress because even the sheets were not clean. The bathroom was not much better. Mold everywhere and white spots all over the floor tile. I woke up many times during the night due to the horrendous smell and had a terrible headache when I woke up. Do not stay here. For this price the hotel should be in much better shape. One thing I will say is that the manager, Tim, working that night tried to be very helpful and accommodating. I'm not sure how such a nice guy can deal with all the customers that I am sure complain about this terrible place.

I stopped by today to check on my room for tomorrow and the G. M. Went out of his way to accommodate me. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Very disappointed. First the entrance doors were broken, so they only partially opened which made it difficult to bring in luggage. The room was extremely overpriced for the quality. The dresser was broken, and it looked like some shook a drink up and it sprayed all over the wall. The toilet had urine stains all over the base. When we came back for the evening there was no parking spaces and we had to wait over 45 minutes for the staff to have people move trailers taking up 12 spots. The hallways stunk. It was a very disappointing stay. If every hotel wasn't booked we would have left. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone and am very upset I wasted my money.

It's okay. But not for 100 bucks a night. Spent less per night at a jack Nicolas 36 hole golf course resort and got a lot more. Only cool thing is it is pet friendly.

Friendly, polite, good customer service. We're given cold water bottles on arrival! Very close to airport and grocery stores. Walking distance to many fast foods. Beds were very squeaky, small pool, cockroach found in room. (room was clean other than bug)

Decent hotel, very affordable. Room was clean but smelled like a dirty dog. They do allow pets so I couldnt be too upset. Front desk did take care of the problem with a good smelling odor eliminator. Very nice pool area. Front desk manager Shaun was very nice and accomadating. Would stay here again.

My stay at the Red Roof Inn Clearwater was excellent from check in to check out! The staff went beyond the extra mile. A huge thank you to Sean who was at the front desk when I checked in yesterday afternoon! He made arrangements for me to check out late, confirmed I had a taxi ride to the airport today. He also switched rooms for me as the AC wasn't working in the room I was in. I would recommend the Red Roof Inn Clearwater to anyone who is staying in the Clearwater area! The crew is an asset to the team!

Pesimo service would never stay again.

There were cars on cinderblocks that the rims were stolen off of in the parking lot. I drove 12 hours to get their and was exhausted I slept horridly because I was petrified that my truck was going to get broken in or the rims stolen… Furthermore the rooms were renovated and kinda okay however there were cracks in the shower tile and you could see mold growing. I was disappointed that I actually paid money for this.

I've seen good and bad reviews here. If you want a low cost hotel… You can expect some issues. I am waiting for our house to be ready to move into. This is exactly what I expected for what I am paying.

We've had to stay here due to disaster related causes on our home and those needing to be fixed. So far our stay was decent until we lost something very valuable to us from home. We have a 5 month old and we use a Snuza to monitor his breathing at night to avoid anything SIDS relayed. We couldn't believe when we put our son to bed that we couldn't find it. We searched everywhere. Not that we wouldn't buy another, because it really was that valuable to us, but we couldn't get another by tonight. This wasn't just our peace of mind but potentially our sons life. So I went downstairs with my son to ask if there was any chance we could look for this in the laundry. I was almost in tears to say the least. Well their employee walked with me to the laundry room and looked everywhere til he found it near the washer. I couldn't thank him enough. This may seem like such a small item to anyone else, but this could've potentially been what saved our son. So thank you, Red Roof Inn for going above and beyond and saving these parents sanity, and possibly our sons life.

Room is really nice. The price is really reasonable. They cold invest in a pool heater though. Brrr. Close to a lot of fast food places. Easy access to main road.

Sean is very knowledgeable. He answered my questions efficiently and made sure my family's needs were met. Room was clean, smelled good, and updated. Didn't have any roaches as previous reviews stated.

Air doesn't work very good. Breakfast is a joke and rooms don't have refrigerator or microwave. Ask for a deposit as if the place is some 5 hotel.

The rooms could definitely be updated… I don't like that there's no smoking in the rooms… Bed sheets were pretty clean everything was pretty clean just a little outdated and some things were old the back porch that we did have to smoke on was leaking and there was water all over it which made it slippery.

The room had a lot of wear and tear to walls and furniture. Very dirty looking. Also, even though management took care of it quickly. There was a man lying on the floor outside a room down from mine when I went to get ice. Didn't feel safe.

This is a budget hotel, so don't expect a lot of extras. One of my dresser drawers was broken too. Otherwise my room was clean and the service was fine.

Room was clean and right by the pool area. Loved the fact I could open the sliding door & walk out to the pool. Had a few resturants near by but was a good distance from the beach.

For the price, it met my expectations. Perfect for a weekend getaway at a great price. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. I'll go there again.

On arrival at the hotel the receptionist was rude. The room was on the borderline of decency, with bad odor, strange noises, dirty room (unclean sheets, dirty drawers with items left by previous customers such as toys and condoms…). Sconsigliatissimo!

We chose this hotel because we needed to stay somewhere with our pets while our house was being fumigated. The hotel served this purpose. The room was clean, though nothing special, and the location was good for us being close to the highway, as we still had to go to work. The front desk staff was helpful and courteous. This is an inexpensive hotel and so unfortunately you get things that go along with staying in an inexpensive hotel, such as noisy guests outside your door at all hours (which we didnt hear again after making a noise complaint with the front desk), a pool that could use improvement, and a pretty disappointing continental breakfast. But since we just needed lodging and were not trying to enjoy a relaxing vacation, this hotel was adequate and met our needs.

For about 70 bucks a room you really can't go wrong if you're in a budget. Rooms are fairly nice and is overall a quiet place. I wish I could find services around the building when I need it though.

Don't be fooled by this one, it is definitely not a 3 star hotel. We had people so loud outside our room at 3 am for the longest time. There were kids running around at all hours of the night. People using the pool way past 10 pm. Unresponsive management. Beware if u need any sleep.

This is the third year in a row I have come and stayed here for my summer vacation. The first year Ramada owned it and the hot tub existed then. Had no issues at all; second year, red roof Inn owned it now and had no issues at all. This year we were checked in and within hours of being there we realized the room was infested with roaches… I understand it's a hotel so I thought there were just a few, so I went to the front desk and asked for some bug spray to try to stay in the room because I had my teenagers in the room next to me. There were just way TOO MANY roaches for me to bare… I asked for a switch and they did. I didn't find any in my kids room and haven't found any in my new room yet. I have loved this place the past few years I really hope this was just from the last people there and I some see if again. I want to keep coming here! I'm not sure how hotels solve these issues because of so many people coming in and out, but whatever they have to do I hope they do it because I want to come back for a fourth year in a row. Still love the location and the feeling this hotel gives. Step it up guys! Please!

Female staff polite but no common sense because we asked for a room facing the airport and we got put in the back of the hotel facing the back of a building. Male staff was very rude because we asked for extra towels and we were told we couldn't get any until the maid/cleaning ladies got there and they would bring them up to us. Floors in hallways were nasty with spots stained all over them. The room smelled very bad when you came back from being out all day. And when we went to check out we asked for a luggage cart and were told they didn't have any more. So we had to make more than two trips from the hotel room to the car because of it and when we asked the guy at the front desk if there was something he could do for the rude guy and no luggage cart he said there is nothing he could do he said no but also gave us an attitude. Would not recommend anyone stay there at all. And the pictures that they put on their page is nothing like the way the room actually looks. Very small rooms with refrigerator just sitting on the floor next to the TV and coffee pot just sitting on the desk. Will not stay there ever again. I will pay extra for better quality and service!

Old dirty carpet, ants in the bathroom, the chair in the corner looked like it came from the salvage yard. Do yourself a favor and stay at The Extended Stay America. They are much nicer. Ramada should disown this hotel. I can't believe they let themselves come down so low.

The man at the front desk was very nice. Informed us of everything going on the weekend that we stayed. Rooms are small but very nice. It was too cold for us to use the swimming pool, but the whole area looked very nice and well kept. The only problem was it smelled a little moldy. Most likely from guests getting out of the pool and walking around the hotel soaking wet. Would definitely stay here again.

Nowhere near typical ramada hotel quality. It may help to remove rear car seat used as a couch in back of hotel.

The room was very clean and had a very nice pool and hot tub. It was located next to a lot of restaurants so there was a lot of variety.

We booked for a two week stay, the first 4 days we stayed on the third floor, there was a strong smell which eventually caused myself headaches, however when we informed the manager he accommodated us to a different room on the second floor much nicer. The characters you see walking around aren't exactly the best but stay to themselves. Overall the service was nice, the rooms were clean, they are also ecofriendly. The location for my travel was a bit of a distance but the morning ocean bridge drive was peaceful. The location surrounding the hotel was a little sketchy but nothing out of the ordinary. It's not a 4 or 5 star hotel, but I will definitely give it 4 stars for the hotels expert customer service.

Very poor service. I'm a pilot who checked in after a flight at 4:30am exhausted. I tried to extend another day. "Management" insisted I personally come to front desk rather than charge my credit card another night. I asked if someone would come to the room to get my card… No, had to be photographed at front desk.

I feel I paid too much for it. The cleaning service is very good however the interiors, decor and furniture are all dated. Air conditioner is noisy but works. Beds are comfortable but no expensive linens. There was a refrigerator np microwave. The pool is nice, did not see any pool towels. Wi-Fi is not fast but ok for emails etc. Overall it is slightly better than a $55 motel. Location is good, freeways are close.

Dirtiest grounds I've seen. Male Staff could care less about the garbage all over the pool area. Female staff were very friendly. We filled a grocery bag full from the trash of others left in the pool area. Forget landscape, cigarette butts litter everywhere.

Paper thin walls, heinous plug in air freshener made room smell like a chemical spill, dated decor, low quality furnishings, slow Wi-Fi, lacking in amenities, fitness center is a joke, lousy location. Staff was very friendly, though and bed was comfortable.

Terrible customer service, says they have an airport shuttle service to pick you up and drop off, (which is the main reason we picked the hotel) we called when we landed and their response "No, no shuttle. " Paid for our own taxi fare to get to Ramada and shuttle is sitting in the parking lot. Although they offered to pay for our taxi fare, extremely inconvenient for a traveler.

We spent 3 nights last week in this great hotel. The staff was great and even helped me when I forgot tape for my daughter's concert sign. They made us feel at home. We had room straight to pool and hot tub which was great! The staff helped with direction on how to get around due to all the construction. Our room was very quiet. We would defiantly recommend anyone to stay here! Thanks again for making my daughter's 13th Birthday a very special one.

Definitely not 3star as advertised. Bathroom had public hair all over. Bed was okay, and staff friendly. Disappointed overall. I'd say this is 2 stars at best and as someone said a ghetto super 8.

Not 3 star as published. Walls thin. Can hear toilets, tv's, and road noise. Save money go elsewhere. Microwave 'ding' all night long. Feels like ghetto super8 with coat of paint.
