If you are looking for a nice quite hotel and professional staff this is the place to stay.
Rooms are clean and fresh very up to date.
They are dog friendly.

Nice place for a weekend visit to Tallahassee. When we arrived the room was freezing cold. The thermostat was broken but they immediately sent someone to fix it. He replaced the thermostat and the temperature was great the rest of the weekend. The place was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied. We will be back.

Prepare to hear and feel every step that the upstairs neighbor takes, and hear every word the neighbor next door says. Very cheaply built hotel. No sound proofing at all. Unless it is a room on the corner of the upper floor I will never stay here again.

Our flight to Orlando was stopped by a storm, causing us to head in to Tallahassee for more fuel. All 200 passengers needed transportation and a place to sleep. The Candlewood Suites had only a few staff members, but they we're extremely helpful in making sure every customer was taken care of. Brittney at the front desk was incredibly helpful, and took care of every visitor. This greatly impacted my view of the Candlewood Suites, and I am extremely likely to make my next stay at one of there locations.

If you have allergies, be aware this place is pet-friendly and uses scented air freshener. If you don't have allergies, this is a wonderful place to stay. It's clean, it had a mini-kitchen (pots pans dishes silverware) with a full fridge and icemaker, and a heated pool (small pool). No free breakfast, but there's free coffee and hot water always.

It has everything you need except free breakfast. Good gym (little but enough). Nice cleaned rooms. Worth the price.

Located within driving distance to a few restaraunts and bars. Almost walking distance but not quite. Accommodations were standard for candlewood. Maybe a little nicer considering the area. Staff was friendly.

Stayed here on business. Great staff! Everyone was helpful and attentive. Rooms are nice, clean, and quiet. Decent restaurants around the area, many within walking distance. Hotel has a great little mini market with different frozen foods, drinks, and more. Would stay here again.

Overall very nice. Like the kitchen n dishes. Didn't like the free breakfast, there model is you buy from there store n make n room. Coffee on point 24/7 tho. Really nice pool n propane grills under patio.

Convenient location to I-10. Clean well keep rooms with full kitchen. Staff is courteous and helpful. Large workout room and good laundry room.

I stayed here for 3 weeks while working, and I have to say that the hotel, the staff and the amenities are absolutely spot on. Free laundry on site, a small workout room, very good internet connection and the housekeeping does an amazing job. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Real nice staff and customers. Real clean place. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay at. And the front desk woman named Amanda, really is sweet and very helpful and always smiling.

Clean rooms, well stocked, very nice bathroom, small kitchenette, great staff, front desk experience was great, nice snack area with excellent free coffee. Computer room with printer worked great. No complaints. Looking forward to next visit at this hotel.

We are a traveling family. I really expected more from this motel. We absolutely love Candlewood and have spent many months in them. However, this location is horrible. We spent nearly $250 to stay 2 nights. The first room we we're given smelled like animal urine, we requested a different room and upon entering, we found the kitchen area covered in water from a leaky dishwasher and the microwave did not work. We also overheard another woman requesting a different room because the room she had been given wasn't even clean. The hallway looked as though it had not been cleaned in quite a long time. The ONLY reason I have given 1 star is because the front desk staff member Amanda seemed very nice and helpful. Unfortunately 1 friendly staff member doesn't make up for the uncleanliness of this location.

I stayed at the Tallahassee Candlewood Suites with my family and was satisfied with the hotel as a whole. The proximity of the hotel to area restaurants and entertainment was great. The room was clean and the hotel was quiet. The cost of our stay was reasonable. If you haven't stayed at a Candlewood Suites before, it is not your average hotel arrangement. It's more like a short term apartment rental in that the maid service visits weekly, rather than daily. If you prefer to be left alone during your visit to a hotel and don't mind not having a freshly made bed each day, then this is the place for you.

Very pleased with our stay! The room was nice and the staff was SO friendly. Pet fee was reasonable ($50). Will definitely stay with Candlewood Suites again!

Very nice hotel for it's level. Clean. There was no breakfast but you have a little kitchen to cook it by yourself if you wish. Nice staying for me.

Nice place that's well lit up at night. Great staff and we had a very nice room. Plenty of water pressure in the shower and comfy beds.

Love the staff and facilities. It's very clean and new. The room is very nice. Love the lending locker and it's also very nice that they met their guests check out movies.

I am writing to you to express my appreciation for the excellent customer service in which I had received from your company during Hurricane Irma. My family and I were evacuees from Naples, Florida who left town with no plan and very worried about what we would come home to. In this situation, we decided to stop by Tallahassee and look for hotels but unfortunately there were no hotels accepting accommodations since there were many other evacuees in the area. Luckily, my family and I decided to stop at Candlewood Suites to look for a place to stay. Your employee Sebastian was very compassionate to our stressful situation and I felt as if he put our families’ situation as he would do for his own. During our stay, all of your staff was very friendly and helpful. But most importantly Sebastian was very kind hearted and made us reassured that we would be safe. I am so grateful for your Sebastian’s hospitality because every other hotel made us feel like a burden and seemed to be overwhelmed with other requests from the storm. In this emotional situation traveling with my mother, two dogs, two infants and my eight year old daughter, and a husband who had to stay behind since he is a first responder, we are forever grateful for your staffs generosity. We wanted to kindly let you know that we appreciate Sebastian’s efforts greatly.

Nice hotel. Staff was friendly and the rooms were nice. I came just after Irma hit. So there were a lot of out of town power workers staying.

The customer service at the Monroe St location exceeded my expectations. As for the room itself it was as expected with zero flaws. It was clean, modern, and exactly as advertised.

Was a little leery when I first found out where I was staying for my vacation (obtained through a Priceline bid). I was pleasantly surprised. I loved having a full size refrigerator/freezer and having the option to cook my own food, with pots, pans and dishes supplied. Rooms are only serviced weekly, which was fine by me. Towels are available by request at the front desk. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

My family and I have stayed here several times and have enjoyed it every time. Super friendly and helpful staff … The very first time staying here they found out why we had to stay, (my dad had open heart surgery) They upgraded our rooms and was so very sympathetic to our situation and offered us as much help and assistance as we needed. Made me want to break down in tears. This trip is a much happier one and has STILL been a very comfy, relaxing and enjoyable time. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to anyone looking to visit Tallahassee. Could not ask for a better Home away from home place to stay! Thank you guys for always being so awesome @candlewoodsuites!

Good all around place to stay. A bit tricky to find / make the right turns, but not terrible. Nothing fancy but well maintained and good staff.

Stayed here overnight for work and loved the place. First thing I noticed when I walked in is the place actually smelt really good. There was a stove and sink and came with everything you needed to cook a meal. Everything was clean and the room was a nice size. There was a pool and a gym with the basic things you need for a workout. No complaints at all.

They say everything in Tallahassee is ten minutes from everything else, and my recent stay was proof of that. I could get everywhere I needed to go within 10 minutes of my drive, and I loved the convenience. My room was clean and comfortable. At first I thought it was odd that my first-floor window only had a sheer curtain and nothing more substantial, but I loved waking up to the glow of the morning light. The staff was friendly, the hotel welcoming, and the bed fantastic. I'll stay there next time I'm in town, without a doubt.

The room we got hadn't been cleaned, so we got upgraded for the same price. Nice people.

Me and my husband stayed last night got in pretty last got ready for bed only to find out sheet didn't get changing. Yeah really I was thinking to myself the review we're awesome, I guess it was my luck. Call front desk he came change our room everything look change again only to find hairs on the bed and front desk said maybe it's the dryer. Well when they get wash and dry fold I know the hair would've not been still on the sheets. I ask for sheets got them 30 mins later. Wow if your gonna stay it look clean check our sheets. You don't want have to sleep in somebody's body sweat or whatever glad my kids wasn't with us. Last front desk did wanna give my husband 20 points because that makes up right. A sorry would've been better. So PLEASE Look under your sheets you can thank me later especially if you have kids.

Been there 2 weeks & have had to track do housekeeping when my room needs to be serviced. Also, they checked me out and charged my card while I was still there so there administratively spotty. Other than that, no issues.

I was just looking for somewhere clean and affordable to sleep overnight. Candlewood Suites was just that and more. Its Tallahassee, Florida location is tucked away off of a main street but close enough to a major interstate. The staff was friendly and made me aware of an online discount that ended up saving me money on my stay. The amenities included a mini kitchenette with an ice maker in the fridge. They also have a guest gym and laundry room. I liked the variety of cable channels offered and I would definitely stay there again.

Everything was good. Great customer service. The walls are just a Lil too thin. I don't want to hear my neighbors personal life. But other than that I was grateful for my stay.

It's a good long term hotel. Clean and neat. I wish the TV was a little bigger as its 15 feet from the bed. No food at the hotel but there is a full kitchen. If you have a car, it'll do.

I like staying here and I usually choose it wherever I come Tallahasee. I have a wife and 4 kids and the rooms are big enough to fit us all while almost always being cheaper than bigger rooms in the other hotels I consider. They have roll away fold up beds. It is not the fanciest, but always clean and neat. The staff is always helpful and courteous even when I check in at 12 in the morning which is the norm for me. Nothing has ever been broken in any of my rooms. Pool is smallish. Gym has no free weights but has two treadmills, an elliptical and a 4 station weights machine. One sub-optimal facet of our experience here is that there is no breakfast served (or any other meals), though there is a small store that sells a limited selection of pre-made and frozen food.

The room was okay. Comfortable bed, soft sheets and plush towels. However our stay was 5 days and sitting at nearly $1000 dollars which is almost my rent for a month, but I understand the price however the service was awful! Worst service I've ever seen. The cleaning crew only comes in once every 7 days which okay not how I want things but understandable however when we sat our trash bag outside the room the lady told us where the trash goes instead of politely saying "oh I can take care of that for you". We asked for fresh towels and they replied with "uh you got to go down stairs and ask the front desk" when she had fresh ones on her cart. The same thing for everything we ran out of. All the cleaning staff were unfriendly and had a bad attitude and if you asked them for anything they seemed irritated. Horrible hospitality. Will be contacting corp.

Rate was not in line with similar hotels in the area. We have stayed here several times but with "new staff" rate went up nearly 100 dollars per night with a 50 per night pet fee! Will find a new hotel.

Hotel is nice, staff is nice, but my room key keeps having to be reprogrammed. Not convenient after a long day at work.

I love this place! If I was to suggest a place to go to experience florida this would be the place to crash. The staff are very pleasant and they even have a store ar the front door. Also they let you borrow movies for free. The room was quite pricey but worth it. Oh did I mention they have a pool. Yeah its a cool place in my book I hope the same in yours.

I stayed on a recommendation, and even though it was 10 mins out of my way it was well worth it! I will use this location anytime I have to return to Tallahassee.

Rich was so kind in welcoming us to the hotel. The room was very large with a modern kitchen and granite counter tops — very upscale for the price. Everything was clean, it's in a good neighborhood, and within decent proximity to FSU among other things.

Clean and courteous. That pretty much sums it up.

This hotel is great! Super clean, close to FSU/ I-10/ lots of shopping and restaurants. The rooms are very clean and have everything you could need in the kitchen. The pool and gym are great. Free laundry and tons of machines. Staff is excellent and very helpful. You could live here! Parking has been great. I have a baby and have had no problem fitting everything in the room — good size. Great hotel defiantly the best in this area I have stayed at most of them.

Great place. Pantry is lacking. Dont want to give up priority club points. Unacceptable.
