Great place just outside of Destin Florida…

The staff was so warm the moment I walked in. Full of great ideas for places to eat or do.
the manager just told us about a sushi and hibachi place within walking distance. So we are going.
the lady who checked us in told me a great place to go to the beach.
oh they don't treat you like some lame tourist they treat you like a friend.
I'm always going to stay here.
oh and my long hair girls say thanks for the extra towels.

I’ve stayed here on 2 separate occasions for a total of 5 days. Hard to beat. Great price — great staff and nice clean roomy suites. Oh and a decent hot breakfast too.

Shelby, Janice, Tracy and entire staff are awesome beautiful rooms and clean I don’t know why I stayed at the competition down the street for the last 3 years I would recommend this as a first choice in Niceville.

Staffing very accommodating. Suggest if you have kids stay on first floor. We were on3 and if the kids feet hit the floor we had a complaint made.

Nice and neat. Satisfactory breakfast. Near a cool nature Park for walking or running. Good for a quick stop over and w in 30 of the beach.

The front desk was friendly. Check-in was very smooth and easy The room was larger than we expected; clean and comfortable. Fluffy pillows. Nice complimentary breakfast and refreshments. 20 minutes from the beaches.

This hotel is in a great location. Not to far from anything you want to do in this area. Close to the airport, close to great restaurants, and not far from the beach. The hotel staff were very kind and helpful, the hotel was clean, plenty of parking area, and the price was good. My only complaints are that the walls are very thin, and I didn't get much sleep because of the people next door who were being loud. It sounded like they were in the room with us. Complaint 2 the breakfast was good for a free breakfast, however they do not have nearly enough tables to accommodate the people eating. We had to make multiple trips back to the room. Overall, I would stay here again, but I'd bring ear plugs just in case.

This place was clean and the staff was polite. That being said I don't think this place is worth 250 a night. It's not the most affluent area from what I could see. The beds are very firm. The tvs have a weirdly placed receiver to change the channel so you have to get close to the small tv. The parking was fine and I didn't have any problems.

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times and enjoyed it. But last night the refrigerator made this horrible noise every five minutes, the air conditioner barely worked. I am so tired today I need a nap.

Really great hotel! Clean and nice staff. The breakfast is okay the options are good but are not cooked well. Also the light in the bathroom was like a strobe light.

Always clean room at competitive prices. Rooms are large, but not really a suite. A sleeper couch is provided for extra people. We usually stay 3 or 4 days, and really like the extra room. The breakfast is great, always hot food and a good variety (including waffles).

Our stay was wonderful. The only problem we had was them charging my credit card for an additional night. We only stayed 2 nights but my card was charged for 3 nights. Beware of this hotel. Because of that my husband and I will never stay here again…

Clean and new with rates at or below government per diem. Decent breakfast in a very well kept dining area. The reason I'm giving them 3 stars is the constant noise due to poor construction. Most new chain hotels are simple rectangular buildings with floor/ceiling construction so thin you hear ever step from the room above you. This hotel takes cheap construction to a whole new level. I'm on the second floor and there is constant creaking and popping from the ceiling. It's bad enough I had to run the A/C fan on continueos to mask it. The floors are so soft and flexible you can hear the tile in the bathroom grind against each other when you walk on them and most of the grout is broken due to the flex. If you stay here insist on a 3rd floor room.

Location close to the airport was handy after a late evening flight. Room was fairly clean and worked well for kids with two beds and a pull out couch. Taco bell next door if you need a late night snack. Decent place to stay. Also includes breakfast.

Comfortable and spacious rooms. Very friendly staff. Be aware that this is a small town, so I couldn't buy gas before my flight. Would definitely stay again though.

My work brings me to Eglin AFB quite often and I always stay at this hotel when I'm here. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the West gate and it's an easy drive. The hotel is clean and comfortable. No pets and no smoking allowed which is good for me as I find I'm allergic to dogs. Breakfast is good but nothing special. They do have a hot breakfast every day for those who like that. I never needed to worry about mold in the shower or stains on the carpet at this hotel. Recommended.

By far the best service desk experience I've had at a choice hotel. I apologize for not knowing her name but she was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. She was the first one that actually acknowledged our choice rewards status and informed us of the points we would be awarded for our stay. The room was clean and the beds and sheets look and feel clean. The breakfast is actually enjoyable and I find myself looking forward to it. It has been an above average stay.

Great hotel experience. Rooms are quiet and only occasionally heard the neighbor's TVs. For long stays, the laundry is a little pricey, but it is on site and that is hard to beat. Wonderful breakfast options make me want to wake up early on the weekend. I have dry skin and the Raio lotion is good. There are a few restaurants and fast food options within walking distance. The Turkey Creek Trail is close by as well. There is no cross walk outside, so crossing the street is a little bit tricky as the road is four lanes. Only a few minutes from the AirForce base, so if you love airplanes there are plenty flying around.

The rooms are great with soft beds and all the amenities, it is always clean and well taken care of while I'm out at work.

Large Clean Rooms and nice breakfast for a great price in Niceville area. Linen was also clean. My dad forgot his glasses and they took down our info to mail it to us for a charge… would have cost more replacing them so very grateful. Nice staff too.

I was under mandatory evacuation from Hurricane Irma in South Florida. A very stressful situation exasperated by many hotels filling up quickly. I had to drive 13 hours to Atlanta to find an available hotel where I stayed a few nights. After having to move out of that hotel, I found this hotel on the Panhandle of Florida had a room available so I reserved it. Unfortunately Hurricane Irma moved up to Atlanta with high winds and flash floods the day I was checking out of Atlanta, so I couldn't leave. I attempted to cancel my reservation by calling the front desk (I am confident another evacuee would gladly take my room) but the guy who I called said it was hotel policy that they will not cancel. I tried the following day to have Expedia negotiate with the hotel but the hotel still refused. During a humanitarian crisis, I am disappointed in this hotel sticking to their policy over the safety of their guests. Most businesses "step up" to help their fellow person, but not here. This is another example of a corporation taking advantage of those in need. If I could give a "zero" rating I would. This is very disappointing.

Nice clean rooms. Breakfast was solid. Room was quiet, water was hot, staff was nice. No complaints. Would stay there again.

I like the service of the front desk. I always able to check in early. Air was acting a little funny but room was nice.

This hotel is very clean. But the pool isn't. It's green on the inside and very dirty they provide towels on the pool which is nice you forget​ I bring your own. It gets very noisy expecially in the morning. The staff is very nice but the breakfast service That they provide is very short and early. It starts at 6 am — 9am I feel like they should start at 6-12 not alot of people wake up naturally at 6 am. Nonetheless the hotel room it's self was very pretty. The lights flicker when you try to turn them on in the bathroom but they still work.

This was a very nice place. The staff from front desk, cleaning staff, to breakfast staff! I will go back any time! The beds were comfortable, nice and clean clean rooms but The hall on the 3rd floor towards had 2 really bad black stains in the carpet, they annoyed me while coming and going. The love seat in our room had very visible stains from dark to white stains, we never Sat or used it. I think it needs desperately to be removed from the room. The pool was not clean it was very cloudy when wanted to use it on 8/2/17 you could not see through the water AT ALL! That's an important amenity when on vacation. There was a food spill right outside the sliding doors to the front desk late one evening (taco meat and sause along with it's container) I think something like this shouldn't wait for next day cleaning crew, registration for rooms are throughout the day and night, that does not make a good welcoming impression.

The hotel is in an easily accessible location on route 85. Rooms are clean and the breakfast room is clean and kept clean and stocked throughout the morning. There's a hot breakfast as well as the usual Continental stuff. The hotel is completely no smoking and doesn't allow pets however during my stay someone had sneaked in a dog. Housekeeping is friendly rather than the usual sullen. Also, the hotel provides a grill next to the pool for residents to use. The smell from this when it's in use permeates the hotel and is worse than any cigarette smoke you might encounter. If it weren't for the grill and smoke I would have given 5 stars. They also need to get on the pet thing.

Location was great. Close to lots of good dining. Stayed for a week and a half and the stay over service was inconsistent. Some days it was good, some days they took used towels and cloths and didn't replace with clean items, trash wasn't taken out, etc. The stay overall was ok.

I booked very last minute, about 2 hours beforey arrival, and when I arrived I was good to go! Staff was friendly and helpful. I had a 2 bed Queen suite. The room was great and the AC worked perfectly. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. Breakfast, I had potatoes and eggs, was good.

Best place to spend the night in Florida! Very close to white sand beaches… 35min drive. Cathy Harris… delicious hot breakfast! She even helped with our togo drinks. Alina Rosu… thank you for telling us about Turkey Creek in walking distance. Hope to visit y'all again! :)

At checkin, the lady at the desk was nice and helpful. The rooms where big and clean. The hotel was clean and we did not meet an employee that wasn't polite and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! Cathy was so friendly and works hard to make sure everyone's food and stay was great! This was one of the best experiences I have had in a hotel.

I rate them 10 stars, very kind and comfortable. Breakfast very good and Cathy outstanding making everyone feel at home.

Rooms and staff were what I had expected. My issue was the fact that I had specifically booked adjoining rooms, only to find that my rooms were instead across the hall from each other. The hotel was sold out, and as I was traveling with my two small children, my only option was to cancel one of the rooms and have the four of us share. There were plenty of places to sleep in the room, but my children are a toddler and an infant — separate spaces are almost required for sleeping. This was incredibly frustrating and really put a damper on my entire experience. The only consolation I was given was to not be charged a cancellation fee for the room that I didn't need, as it was across the hall and not adjoining.

My stay was great, the breakfast was good. The room was clean and organized. I'm very satisfied with the service and the accommodations.

We were just in town for a wedding and a quick overnight stay. We'd never seen the hotel but were very pleased. It was very clean, smelled fresh, lady working the desk was sweet and friendly, Wi-Fi worked, room and bath were spacious, and the breakfast was great! Can't think of anything they could've done to make it better!

Our experience was disappointing. 1. Room was very clean and ready for us. Thank you. 2. Service at the desk was pleasant and quick even though they were busy. 3. We were disappointed to get on line and find that the price advertised was $129.00, but we were charged $139.00 for a room with a King size bed. 4. Our towels were picked up during the hours of 9:00 a. M. To 2:00 p. M, however a dirty wash cloth was left on the knobs of the tub, one on the sink, and a dirty hand towel was left. No trash was picked up. We notified the desk service at 3:00 p. M. That we received only towel pick-up, but shoddy. Also, the room had not been cleaned or even made the bed. Sometime later someone made the bed very haphazardly with many wrinkles and pillows tossed in disarray. I think staffing must have been low or someone needs to slow down or be trained how to service a room. 5. When we arrived back in our room at 9:00 p. M. We still did not have any clean bath towels, wash cloths, but one small towel was delivered with a note saying if this one towel was not enough for us we could contact the desk service. We did so and it was 10:30 p. M. Before we received clean towels and wash cloths. When you have been out for a hot evening, arrive back at 9:00 p. M. And expect to shower and go to bed soon; it is just not acceptable to have no towels or wash cloths. 6. Sometime in the night a family arrived next door to us and was using the bed like a trampoline.

The only hotel we desire to stay in when we come anywhere near Destin. The staff is fabulous. They are always very courteous and professional. The rooms are white glove clean and sanitary. The breakfast staff are very professional and caring. Too bad there are not 10 stars, I would give them all.

Nice place to stay. I normally stay at Eglin because of the cost. But there were no vacancies at Eglin. So I gave this a try. I did not regret it. Iwill stay here again if I can get the base.

Absolutely beautiful and the staff couldn't be more accommodating! We thoughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying here next time we are in Niceville.
