Beautiful Place the impeccable architecture.

My wife and I reserved a room for several nights back in December and 2 nights before we leave for our actual trip in March, we get an email from the Savoy that they are unable to fulfill our reservations due to renovations. They did list several options in their cancellation email however they were much more expensive then what our reservation was originally for so really not a huge help. We tried calling management and was like pulling teeth. Seven days and counting and still haven’t gotten our money back for the room which we paid in full AND have not gotten a call back from their accounting team. Highly suggest avoiding the Savoy. Oh and I’m sure there will be a flood of positive reviews after this one star but remember, they are SUPPOSEDLY closed due to renovations so I wouldn’t take any of them seriously, probably just the shady management trying to cover their screw up. UPDATE: yes you contacted my wife confirming the refund AFTER I posted this review. I suggest you invest some of that “refurbishment” money in some hotel management training because your handling of this mess up has been horrible.

Aweful. We booked a room for a vacation and a week before our reservation, they dropped our reservation because they weren't finished with hurricane repairs. The hurricane happened last summer. They knew for a long time that the room wouldn't be ready, and never notified us. They gave us info about other hotels that we could research on TripAdvisor (really? ) but since it was for high season the cost was substantially higher. Their customer service was weak, and in the end it consisted of letting us know that they were "sorry".

The location is very good and the rooms are very comfortable.
It has access to the beach and very good pool, with very good surroundings.
It would improve the breakfast service.
Lack of staff at the front desk so and everything would come back with pleasure.

A beachfront, all suite hotel on the sand in the heart of south beach that’s actually all inclusive with no surprises! What could be better? Hands down the best service and largest rooms in Miami. Friendly, warm staff eager to cater to your every whim…

WOW! What a great place! My boyfriend and I chose this place after searching hundreds of hotels online, for a late summer getaway. We were super impressed. The rooms were really large compared to other hotels we've been to and the beach was so nice and beautiful. It was super chill too, we just relaxed and had food & drinks delivered to us while we worked on our tan. The food was very good — — prices reasonable and portion size was fine. We also spent some time at the 2 pools. The service was wonderful too! From the Reception Desk to the Beach, everyone was friendly and willing to go above and beyond. We are planning a return trip after the Holidays. See you soon Savoy!

Best spot on the beach. A beautiful and serene gem you never expect to walk into. The rooms are very spacious and fully equipped. I highly recommend the Savoy.

The staff are welcoming, the facilities are clean, the room is fine despite some signs of disuse. Obviously food and drinks are expensive, but they allow for outdoor supplies which is great. I recommend.

I stayed at the Savoy Hotel for 2 days and payed in full online when I booked it. After I checked out, I was charged $114.36. I knew that there was a resort fee ($22 per day), but I did not know there was a valet parking fee ($30 per day) until I left the hotel. The hotel does not provide a parking space for their guests. I asked the front desk where I can park and they told me that there was only valet parking without informing me that there was going to be a fee for it. I tried to contact them about the charges, but they did not answer or get back to me. The price on these websites excludes about $70 in fees per day. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and I will not be coming back. If you are thinking about staying here, keep in mind of the parking fee ($30 per day).

The staff here is SUPERB. They really make you feel welcome and like your stay is something special. The general South Beach @ 5th location and direct beach access (gate to beach is locked at 8pm for security) is great for both shopping or grabbing a bite to eat at any time within walking distance (or via delivery service), and relaxing with a breezy short walk to the beach through the pool area. The pool area is nice and well kept with bar service to both this area and the beach. Frankly a few minutes at the beach then an entire afternoon at the pool is wonderful.

Rooms are nice unless you get one of the rooms on the 1st floor near the pool, then you can hear the people outside of your window, food is really nice, especially breakfast. Nice staff, they may not be around as much as you like, but when they are they aim to please. If they made their presents a little bit more known, they would be outstanding. Nice pools and nice access to the beach. More family type of hotel than party hotel.

Great size rooms with kitchen and full bath. Hotel offers views of pool and ocean where you can see the waves splash on the beach. Staff is very polite and helpful. Hotel also offers beach chairs and tents on their own private section of the beach, very clean and relaxing. They have services such as towels for guess and the option to order food and beverages from the beach. Great place for a family or couple, can accommodate to anyone. You can walk to anything from the hotel including grocery stores, clothing stores, food, etc.

Great location and possibility to go to the beach directly from the back of the hotel. Also good location in South Beach in not too noisy area. The pool is a great alternative to the beach after 5pm hour when the beach closes. Unfortunately the view of the room, however very nice looked out on a nearby building. And the Internet and beach pool services are apart at the cost of $15 per day even if you are not using the service, such as the first day the room is allocated after 4pm and the day of exit we stayed without the Internet. That's why the 3-star rating!

The location is the strong point of the structure, but it needs a refreshment. Then large spaces… pool… straight on the beach. What to ask for more.

Beautiful Hotel. … they told me frequented by VIPs of every where and will make you feel even to you a star of Miami… to try… but mostly because close to the nightclubs of Ocean Drive… but far enough to get you to sleep at night… The gorgeous pool The entrance to the beach starts from there… and it's 10 meters… what else to add. Only that the air conditioning is exaggerated in the hallways. But basically you're in America… and they're all so…

This hotel is gorgeous, lush and worth the indulgence! I stayed for a few days and was very pleased with the service, the views of Miami and the Club Floor. The food was amazing. Treat yourself. You deserve it!

I have been staying with the Savoy hotel for the past 3 years every time I visit Miami beach. This is the BEST hotel I ever stayed in. The customer service of this hotel is simply the best. I unfortunately had a very unexpected event happen to me in which I had to stay in the hospital. I had to have an emergency surgery and had to stay in Miami longer than planned. The hotel managed to provide me with everything I needed for my recovery for as long as I needed. I am very happy and thankful that I could count with the Savoy staff to help me in this difficult time. I will be always thankful for all the attention and help. That is why I am loyal and will always stay at the Savoy whenever I decide to come to Miami beach. It is located perfectly on ocean drive, close to restaurants, grocery stores, mall, beach, pharmacy… Everything I needed it! 10 stars!

Nice place ans nice atmosphere, the staff around the pool well not that good, when I was there ut was really hot, so I guess that why. But in general it's a good place to stay, they have day passes to the pool.

Even with 2 young kids and arriving around 11am. They could not get us a reserved room until around the check in time nor any extended stay. The place and amenities are beautiful however.

Don't believe the photos. This place is disgusting and is clearly a trap for unsuspecting foreign tourists. I checked into the room and it was absolutely filthy. Couch was visibly dirty, holes in the walls, and the smell was unbearable. Stained rugs everywhere — awful. Staff were terrible and rude. I told the front desk and the manager said I would get a refund. I walked out and stayed elsewhere. And now over a month later, I'm still fighting with the hotel over the refund they promised. Do not stay here — avoid this hotel.

Rooms were very clean, staff was helpful, great location on the beach can easily walk anywhere. Pool was big. Valet was prompt.

Beautiful hotel. On New Year's Day I came down to the lobby and greeted the three employees of the hotel who were at the reception desk. No cordial salutation, no acknowledgment towards me at all, the next two days the same. I have never had this happen and it made me feel very awkward during my stay there. I can not recommend anyone of my friends. One of my friends had stayed there a couple of yea rs ago and could not believe what I had experienced. Sadly I am not sure if this attitude would be addressed. It is a shame as it is a very beautiful ad well kept hotel.

The Savoy Hotel was beautiful. The location is right on the beach making the experience even better. It is surrounded by all major attractions making it convinient for visitors. The rooms were comfortable. The service was very good.

I've stayed at this hotel for thr second year in a row and it's amazing. The rooms are nice with very comfortable beds and amazing bathrooms. Totally granite or marble walls and flooring with a huge bath tub. The pools are amazing with one heated to a quite comfortable temperature. Also, room service is nice with the food being delicious.

Service is great. Cian at the bar was so helpful. Rooms are unique and well done.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Great location for South Beach with direct access onto the beach. We had a lovely big room and all staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The only downside to our stay was that they are renovating the property next to the Savoy and there was a lot of noise in our room which was 304 from the building work when we left.

The room and pool area is very well maintained. The staff was friendly and courteous. The Savoy restaurant is very reasonably priced and the food I ordered was delish. I took advantage of the $5 breakfast mimosas plus the 2 for 1 promo during happy hour. I would recommend The Savoy if you want peace and quite away from the crowds of people. You have quick access to the pool and the beach. The beach service is not all that. Besides check in the chair and the umbrella they don't really provide any other service.

Horrible. Inconsiderate. Dirty. Insects. Rude. This was by far the WORST experience ive ever had with a hotel. When we got there the room was small, there was only one bed and my brother I could not fit on it. When we told them, they refused to upgrade us, and they refused to give me my money back. I finally was able to get a hold of the GM Jim Anderson 3 days later, and he was just as rude and inconsiderate as his employees were that I dealt with. Instead of offering some kind of solution, he kept telling me that he wont give my money back, and that its not his problem. The room had insects around the floor boards, there was insects inside the elevator, someone previously stated that they got BED BUGS from the hotel also, there was went paint everywhere. For a place that you have to pay top dollar for, you get the same experience as going to a motel 8 on the side of the road in the middle of Tennessee. I would rather sleep on the side of the street rather than ever sleep inside this hotel. I hope that everyone reads this review and thinks twice about spending the night here. Do not give your money to people who will treat you like trash. There is currently a health department investigation on this hotel. STAY AWAY! -Marko Duvnjak.

Very poor experience, room was okay but roof had a massive crack in it, pool closed early (about teatime) and couldn't ever be given an exact time of when it closed, took one swim in the pool and it was filthy and this was it supposedly after it had just been cleaned! staff weren't very friendly people in the place, were very rude and looked you up and down and that's if you were lucky to find one that spoke English and understood you. Was overall a very poor experience for such an upclass hotel! Would not recommend and wouldn't be staying again. I would be here all day to list the rest of the faults.

I had a lovely stay back in July with the family. The rooms are extremely spacious, clean and very comfortable. We loved the fact that this hotel is on the quieter side of the beach yet walking distance to the restaurants and shopping. The Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Tip: try the fish tacos on the restaurant they are delicious! Overall we had a wonderful stay.

HORRID customer service. Receptionist was rude to my aunt, saying she was inconsiderate. My room was in the kitchen. (Litterally in the kitchen) The air con leaked and made exploding noises each time it was turned off, also it made a loud noise! Never ever again. And my food was served cold, food looked expired. And the lifts (elavators) havent been checked since last september.

DJ'ed here for the WMC, great place poolside is awesome the beach is even better. Right in the heart of south beach. Clubs, food, shopping all around this place. The rooms are kept clean and of course the staff is extremely helpful, especially during big events and other holidays in SOuth Beach. There is a local pizza place that is close by for late night munchies.

The Savoy is a yearly getaway trip for my friends and I. Super convenient to all, pools and beach are fabulous! Service is outstanding. This year I would like to highlight and commend a staff member, Alexis Garcias. THANK YOU ALEXIS for an amazing stay! Alexis went out of his way to make everyone feel comfortable, relaxed and pampered! We were always warmly greeted and showered with attention. Alexis is a hard worker, warm and kind individual, who truly cares about all the guests. Alexis is a huge asset to the Savoy team. Please make sure he is well taken care of and do not ever let him leave! Thank you Savoy for yet another successful, fun trip. See you next year.
