Our stay at this property began badly already in the booking process. I was about to book through supplier but then I had the idea of writing by mail directly to the structure and, seeing me granted a more advantageous rate, I asked to confirm the room directly, then proceeding to cancel the option taken previously. Unfortunately, however, once the option was canceled Mr. Luis, making a lot of confusion, decided to cancel even the reservation confirmed directly with the hotel, arguing that it was a waste of time. I was then back to the starting point. As the hotel impressed me particularly, I decided to proceed equally by confirming the room through my supplier, who, on my request, confirmed to me that on the spot I would not have to pay anything, not even the resort fee. The reception in the hotel was awful! Mr. Israel told us that they were very concerned because the reservation was not welded and they did not know if it would be settled (we felt treated like starving), so we asked for a security deposit of $100 in cash, as my credit card, already widely used, at the hotel did not pass. Same problem also encountered by another pair of Argentine lords (they had booked through the same supplier). Fortunately after a while they made us settle in the room and so immediately warned the supplier of the incident, which Provvededette then to call at the hotel and to resolve the payment issue. Luckily I wasn't mistaken, the room was really pretty! Furnished really well, in modern style but very simple, the bathroom was equipped with a large shower. The views were not the best but we didn't really. The room was equipped with a minibar with alcoholic and soft drinks of course for a fee, as for payment were all other products such as wine, candies, chocolates and biscuits (the costs were well hidden and of course very high). Nice and clean hotel, equipped on the first floor of a coffee machine, cappuccino (free use), and a balcony overlooking Espanola way. I would like to emphasize the excellent location of the hotel: located in the pedestrian Island Espanola Way, road that crosses with Washington Avenue, parallel to Collins Avenue and 2 blocks from Ocean Drive. Upon arrival they gave us a card that gave right to have up to 20% discount at the restaurants of Espanola way (all very nice). Obviously the problems were also at check out: The resorts fee, which were not due, were scaled from the security deposit. Fortunately, by letting me release the receipt of the payment, I turned it back to my supplier to request a refund, arrived just today. In the end they tried in all ways to make the crafty but they happened poorly: work in tourism and a similar thing I had never heard, nor much less I had ever happened. Obviously this structure will never recommend, at least until it changes the management.
