This hotel is awesome! We had a few complications with checking in but staff made sure to take care of it without leaving a worry on my fiancé and I. Very helpful throughout our entire stay! Location was great. The room was beyond comfortable. This place will always be in my heart. I stayed May, 2018 and this is where I was proposed to. Staff helped my fiancé set up our room for the proposal. I will definitely go back for my next stay in Miami!

Abae is beautiful and very private. They also have Joe’s Coffee attached for business people who work on their computers a lot. The staff at Abae is absolutely great!

Worst hotel I’ve ever been to as far as service goes. The “manager” Jen did not know what she was doing at all nor did she make me feel comfortable after HER mistakes. She charged the valet fee to my card without my permission and I wanted to pay with cash, told me I could’ve paid with cash AFTER the fact. Then even after I told her I didn’t want anything charged to my card she charged an additional 16 dollars for “damages” that I did not do which was a light pink stain on the sheets. And then said I still had to pay a 27 dollar reservation fee which I paid the night before. This hotel will steal your money! And on top of that, the rooms smelled like a porta-potty, I had to ask front desk for air freshener the night before. Do not waste your time nor RISK YOUR MONEY booking with them.

Beautiful hotel. Fantastic amenities. Close to everything. Friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was a problem. Great rooms with comfortable beds. Love the Abae hotel. Will definitely stay here again.

Booked a 5 night stay at the Abae Hotel for a birthday vacation and enjoyed our stay so much. The cleaning staff and front desk staff were so nice and helpful. We even had to extend our stay one night and they were super accommodating. We would definitely make a returning trip in the future to South Beach and make sure to stay at Abae again.

Beautiful modern hotel tucked away. The staff was great. I liked that there was a coffee shop downstairs and Whole Foods was within walking distance. We were also able to walk to many restaurants. There are also bikes out front you can rent which allowed us to tour the city.

This hotel is a Miami Gem! Location is ideal, the staff was very welcoming and our room was all we could have asked for. Our destinations were mostly (90%) within walking distance. We will definitely be back. Thanks for everything, Abae!

Appearance was nice overall, Lobby had an odd smell to it that bothered me and my wife. The rooms were very nice. When checking out we were charged a valet fee when we had no car. They took it off the bill, but hours later after we left to go to a different hotel they put it back on. I complained again and they took it off a second time and told them to remove my CC card from the system. While on my cruise, they put a third charge on. This was unacceptable and I would not return there.

Great boutique Hotel. Amazing staff! If you are coming to Miami Beach for business or pleasure, try it out. You can't go wrong.

Abae hotel in Miami Beach is by far one of the most prestigious accommodations I have experienced in a very long time. This place has made my stay extremely comfortable and I would recommend it to anyone who’s looking for an exceptional hotel. The people at the front are very friendly and take pride in serving you at best. To the associates at Abae, keep up the great work. See you again soon!

Please dont stay here! There is mildew smell eveywhere. The manager claudio is terrible… rude disrespectful. I have no idea how hes still employed there. Dont waste your money. Way better hotels out there without mildew and nasty employees!

Brand new, modern, clean with rooftop pool.

This is the biggest SCAM of a hotel I’ve ever experienced in my life. Booked a room back in May for NYE in Miami at a great early rate of just over $200/night. This past Friday evening, 7 MONTHS LATER, get an email from the booking service (Southwest vacations) saying Abae has cancelled the room. We call the hotel literally 5 mins later and they say they can’t help us bc the ‘Reservation Department’ isn’t back until Tuesday. Then proceeded to tell us that there weren’t any rooms left, and had NO answer as to how that was possible since they just cancelled ours in the last 5 minutes. Now they are giving us some excuse about an ‘invalid credit card’ when not a thing is wrong with it and hasn’t been since May when originally booked and confirmed. They literally cancelled the room bc they saw the rate they gave us and have rooms for $800+/night. Our NYE is ruined and we have had plane tix and event tix.

This place is a complete SCAM! Booked my room 7 months ago and 6 days prior to my trip I get an email that my room is cancelled out of nowhere. Upon calling the hotel 1 minute later I am informed there is no one I can talk to that can help but they already rebooked my room for someone else. Now I am left with nonrefundable plane and event tickets. Should have booked elsewhere to begin with. Staff on the phone completely rude and disrespectful.

Yesterday was the fourth time I've called Abae to make a reservation because the website wasn't working. But this time the guy from the front desk told me he would get someone to help help and left me almost 40 minutes on hold. I asked to call me back and got no answer. Considering that I've called from abroad, I got a huge loss. After more than 1 week to answer my email and 40 minutes on hold, I have to say congratulations for the worst customer service.

Should be called a "hostel". No facilities except your small, clean, but sparse suite. You have only one option for parking: put your (expensive, high-end) car in the hands of a stranger, to be parked in some hidden or underground location. Although you are renting a suite, you pay by the hour, an astronomical sum… if you go upstairs to put your bags down, want to go out for dinner or a club a couple of hours later, you have to tip that valet a second time to retrieve your car. When you return for the evening, you tip again. When you leave the next morning, you pay for all/each of those hours you were asleep. Lovely little place inside, but no feeling of relaxation or vacation after a nine-hour drive there. Tension — filled hours. When we got the car back, we drove a few blocks up the street and the radiator was suddenly leaking… made me wonder if "work" had been done on the perfectly running car once in the hands of that valet, since we could not go down in their "garage". Very unsettling… once we got near to the docks, we had to abandon the car because of that radiator sudden hole, at a giant (but virtually empty) outdoor3rd-world-looking, ramshackle, hot, greasy, filthy-toileted, public mall-ette and take a cab to catch our ship on time… felt like I was in a story straight out of a drug-smuggling novel. So much intrigue, beginning with that "hostel". Go to a Hilton or better. Scary for an old person not in charge…

This was BY FAR the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel. Myself and the individuals I traveled with arrived to a room that was not ready (no problem) however they had no functioning washrooms. There was lipstick and other stains on our pillows and blankets. The second night we arrived back to the hotel and our key was not working after informing staff and then standing and waiting 20 minutes for staff to come up and resolve the issue we had to go back down to the lobby where we found the staff member sitting behind the desk txting. When we asked what was being done his response was 'yeah this really sucks but I have no clue what to do, maintenance has left for the evening' when we told him this was not acceptable he proceeded to say 'what do you want me to do, wave my magic wand and open your door? ' 2 hours later I asked to have the staff call the general manager who then proceeded to tell me I was unreasonable and that I was interrupting his family time. They continued to tell us they were exhausting every effort to fix the issue with the battery. After 4 hours the staff member behind the desk admitted that they were unable to fix the problem which they knew all along as the laptop they told us they were 'fixing' the problem with was in fact broken. They informed us it could take a day or maybe a week to find a new laptop that worked. At the 4.5 hour mark I was forced to call Miami police who arrived and did not feel the situation was normal or acceptable.

The only bad thing was the ridiculous charge for parking which noone told us about until you leave. To get a surprise bill of $115 spoilt all the good things the hotel had. $35 a day which is extortionate and left a bitter taste in your mouth about the hotel.

Rey at reception made our stay just perfect. He was exceptional. He arranged our uber when our app failed, was always so pleasant and made sure we had plenty of free sparkling water in our room. Thank you Rey.

Really nice room, but very loud music at random times. Also one of the front desk guys is a total sleez.

The hotel was very clean & the location was perfect for everything on south beach! The staff specifically Brett & Richard were very helpful, they made sure our stay was pleasant! The room was very spacious & the amenities were great!

Do not stay at this hotel at all. The manager was completely disrespectful when trying to help with an issue. They charged me $50 for dirty towels claiming they were damaged. Nooo they were just dirty and could have been easily cleaned… then when talking to a manager he was so rude would not tell me his name or a corporate number and lied and said it was several towels when there was jus one towel dirty then said they through the towels away. I will never stay at this hotel ever again and would not recommend it ro anyone!

Hotel was nice and new. Crew felt needy and overattentive. Pool was fine but we weren't allowed to get it except for a needy weird front-desk guy move of "letting US ONLY in for a few minutes. " (WHAT?! ) ATTENTION: Hotel charges a "facility fee" not included in your online booking of 30 or so bucks a day plus valet parking is almost sure to be needed as well so add another 20 bucks. Add all that pole dancing for the coins up and I still don't get my money worth the hotel.

New hotel with clean decoration and a warm staff. They speak Portuguese. The rooftop pool is great. The shower could be better.

I wanted to thank Veronica for a great job on my suite daily cleaning during my 13 nights stay as well as the hospitality and thoughtfulness the front desk and valet parking staff extended to me. Cleanliness is very important for me to have good rest and the kindness the staff extended to me during my solo stay away from home was very heart warming. Thank you, Veronica and front desk and valet parking staff.

Great new place. Good location, helpful staff and awesome music. Few downsides are lack of common area and issues with Wi-Fi do to construction.
