On the website it said we could check in anytime after 8 pm, so we booked it. 2 weeks later we drove 16 hours from Illinois and got there at midnight. There was a handwritten note on the door that said “be back in 5 minutes”. We had already paid for the room so we waited there for a half an hour while knocking on the door and pressing the door bell. Nothing. So we called customer service and they sent us to customer relations and when we explained our situation THEY HUNG UP. What a JOKE. Then we got them on the phone again and they said we “didn’t check in by 8 pm so we can’t get a refund” and we still couldn’t get into the hotel. So we had to pay for a different hotel room for the night and got no money back.

Gary is awesome! Stay here for several days every week while working. If you need anything he will get you squared away. I'd recommend this place to anybody.

I haven't been to a hotel this bad in a long time! Roaches everywhere, the air conditioning didn't work the were stains on the carpet and when I got a cup of juice from the breakfast they served there was bug in the cup! If you're not afraid of roaches like me you will be fine. I wasn't able to sleep but maybe you can. Oh 4 stars for the stuff they were nice.

Staff is very friendly. The bed was leaning towards the headboard. There were bugs. The carpet was wet. The door didn't seal shut. There was no TV remote. They charge $1 for water unless you are a member. The don't have milk or water to make your oatmeal which is all they have for breakfast which ends with you having to purchase the water. There was also a clicking noise and I don't know if it was from the lights or the fridge. Very irritating.

This is the worst hotel I have been ever! Disgusting, smell on bathroom was a nightmare. First night we were tired and just closed bathroom door. Next morning shower time and faucet broken shooting water all over. Went on to front desk asked if the would fix it and also clean the room and make it smell good. When returned nothing was fixed. Move down to another hotel. Don’t go to Rode way hotel in lake city!

Old motel. Needs lots of work. I am a smoker so I was glad to find a motel that I could smoke. That I am thankful. Location is good. Didn't dare shower bathtub was horrible On a positive note, Gary front desk manager was very nice.

Reasonable price for a short stop to rest overnight. Clean enough, small breakfast included. I paid under $90 for room with two beds.

Filthy dirty and disgusting! Pulled back the covers and the sheets were stained with what looked like Cheetos/food obviously hadn’t been laundered and then found a cockroach. Couldn’t pack our stuff fast enough to get out of there.

Decent motel for those who need a bed at a close distance from the main road. Very simple breakfast included.

One bright spot, Gary the host was helpful. Other then that… We were told we got one of the nicest rooms with new carpet, etc, if so, I shudder to think of the other rooms. The carpet looked 30 yrs old, was so dirty it was sticky to bare feet. No hair dryer, no ironing board. Faucets leaked. Light fixtures broken, hot water was not available at times, extremely dirty, and stank. Bad. One of the worst motels I've ever stayed at. And I've been all over the world. Horribly disgusting.

Been staying at this dump since 1/3/18 had personal item stolen from my room talk to front desk told me I wud be reimbursed for the stolen item been givin the run around for 4 days now to tell me I'm not getting reimbursed today 1/15/18 wud not ever stay here again.

I have been all over the world, and stayed in all classes and types of hotels. This is not the Plaza, but neither is the price. This establishment is very clean. The office staff Gary very competent and friendly. Rooms are very cozy. I would stay here again. On our way from Fort pierce to the Mississippi coast for a family Thanksgiving.

Great Motel. Great hospitality. Great everything. 5 ☆ room at a 3 ☆ rate. Lighting fast wi fi & good coffee.

No cause it feels like they judge you once you walk in cause they put us in the back rooms theater were as nice. Then the maid service was so awful I felt like I was doing a better job even once they would try to clean my room but thanks for letting us stay there.

Pleasently surprised the room we were in had been updated and $60.00 and clean room that was a win in my book. Most of all friendly employees and a willing to help attitude, now that is a major plus.

Helpful staff and clean rooms! Gary is a gracious host and cares about hospitality.

There is adisconnect between the staff and Choice Hotels, who booked our room. We made a reservation for today but the staff could only find it for next month. The rooms are dirty, the toilet seat is not connected to the toilet, the shower curtain is falling off, the sheets are stained, and the door looks like its been kicked in before.

There is a disconnect between the people that book the room and the staff at the hotel. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand does. We booked a room for tonight but at the hotel it's showing for tomorrow and one has to pay upfront. Choice Hotels should be aware of the situation at this hotel.

Lovely friendly and helpful staff! Rooms were spotless and sheets were good quality cotton. We had a great nights sleep — thanks guys!

In the wake of Hurricane Irma my parents were trying to make their way back down to Tampa and every hotel along the northern I-75 corridor was booked. I finally connected by phone with a very nice woman at the Rodeway Inn. She was super busy but said she could hold a room and asked for my phone number to call me back. She call 15 minutes later and secured the reservation. My parents were very pleased and said the room was clean and comfortable. This was a great experience during a very trying time for all Floridians. Would definitely recommend the Rodeway Inn if you are traveling in the area.

Convenient older hotel, but was clean. Checked in a bus load using 16 rooms and everything went smoothly. Everyone was very nice and Paul went above and beyond to accommodate us even when we arrived at 1 a. M.

We arrived very late, a nice gentleman at the counter check me in, wad very nice & helpful. The room was verrrry nice, clean, all was very good! Highly recommended!

Came in extremely late from a LONG road trip. Staff super friendly and nicest I've ever experienced. Very clean and neat room. Room was comfortable cool on a hot night! Would stay again!

For a cheap room, they are clean and comfortable. The staff is always friendly and accomodating. Won't stay anywhere else again… Gary and Dawn take care of everything! Def don't even consider the ramada!

Older motel, clean, new towels, nice TV, great staff. The price was considerably less than shown in Obit.

Gary is the man. Makes working out of town a pleasure. Takes care of any needs. Hotel wouldn't run without him.

Better than sleeping in the truck… but not much better.
