Total dump! This place is disgusting! From the parking lot, lobby, to the rooms, everywhere is gross! Garbage everywhere! Bloody towels! Garbage bags everywhere! Useless front desk staff! Stay away! Total SHITHOLE 🤬🤬🤬

Pretty sure this hotel takes the cake for Nastiest place in Orlando. It took over an hour just to get checked in; just to have a dead roach 🪳 in the room.

No one was there to check me in! I called every number they had. We had to sleep in a car. There was another couple locked out of their room and had a flight to catch. They waited for 3 hours and had to fly out without their luggage! I still havent received my refund.

Rooms and hotel in general is very modern and very clean. Jacuzzi should be taken care of, it was dirty.

It's Nice and very convenient! Has a good Fish on Fire next door for some good eatins!

Exterminate in a monthly basis. Train staff in social skills.

Really old hotel. Not clean. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

First they didn't have/ couldn't find our reservations. I ended up purchasing another room bc of our large group. We all paid $25 early check in fee. Still had to wait over an hour for 2 of the 3 rooms. My rooms "patio" is of the inside lobby! And let's not forget that the pool and jacuzzi are closed! Never again!

Check in time was at 3:00pm. Waited until 7:00pm in a line because the hotel did not have rooms cleaned and available for the guests they were reserved for. We finally made a decision to drive 2 hours home that night. Hotels. Com tried to call hotel so we could get a refund on our reserved room but the hotel would not answer the phone.

Rooms are large. Huge bed, tv, coffee machine, microwave, fridge and safe. Nice sized bathroom, ours had a tub but I believe the double bedded rooms have walk in shower. Hot and cold breakfast is included.
Has laundry room so I was able to do three days washing before leaving. Although checked out we don’t have to leave so I’m sat by the lovely outdoor pool while waiting to be collected.
There’s also a shop that opens for a few hours until 11 am which you can get souvenirs and necessities. Staff have all been really wonderful and helpful.
I would recommend this hotel highly.

Had to come here because our flight got cancelled at MCO. But this is the most disgusting hotel ever. Everything is chipped, broken, scratched, or smells awful. There was a knife cover lying on the floor of the elevator, the paint in the hallways is peeling and scratched off, etc. I’m surprised this place even has a 1-star rating. I am literally going to sleep in my clothes because I’m afraid I’ll get bed bugs.

The worst airport hotel so far. The room has a malfunctioning air conditioning, there is crazily loud music and nobody does anything about it. Everything is old and falling apart, and extremely dirty : hair all over bathroom floor, as well as dirty pieces of paper, smelly beds and carpet.
Avoid it at All Cost, especially if you have children.

The staff is excellent.
The new ownership is working hard to improve anything in need.
The hotel was so convenient and was very good.

This Hotel is terrible! Jennifer Chung, the General Manager is Rude and clearly not cut out for her job. I watched as she avoided interacting with contractors and guests who were directed to her by her staff. She had her staff notify people that she left the property instead of addressing issues. I was waiting forever to check in and get a room, during my wait I discovered many things. The Wi-Fi and cell service at this location is horrible! I could not send texts and kept g…etting disconnected from my calls. The housekeeping staff is comprised of mostly undocumented illegals who are paid by the room and therefore they rush through as many as possible without properly cleaning guest rooms. The AC units in most rooms are not cooling properly and leaking water in the rooms and hallways. There is BLACK MOLD in most of the rooms. This is a severe health hazard! A contractor sitting next to me was discussing the issue with a staff member trying to help resolve the problem but the hotel had no interest in fixing this issue at all. He finally left after waiting close to an hour for the evasive General Manager Jennifer Chung. After seeing the guests complaining about the unclean rooms, no phones in the rooms, bad odors, dirty carpets, poor customer service, bad Wi-Fi and more… I decided stay elsewhere. For the same money I found a nice, up to date, clean hotel with great Wi-Fi Thankfully my stay at this terrible place was short lived.

The owner of the hotel is a scammer! He charges random rooms with smoking charges of over $200. Happened to multiple people while I was staying there including myself even though I do not smoke and multiple employees said our room didn't smell. The place is gross and it smells musty in the lobby. The shuttle from the airport to the hotel took 2 hours to pick me up. This hotel should shut down.

This is by far the WORST hotel I’ve ever stood in. The light didn’t work, the electric socket was protruding from the wall and wires were exposed, and the bathroom was the worst! The tub was literally peeling with paint and the faucet was visibly dirty. I complained and was moved to another room and it had the same exact issues but let’s replace the unsafe socket for dusty air vents. My mother’s room had all of the same issues. Why would they even rent these rooms in these conditions? The hotel is great if you want to bring a $2 hooker with no standards. Do NOT be fooled by the updated lobby! I would post pictures, but I only have videos and FB doesn’t have an option to post videos on the review.

No hot water. They put us in the old rooms. Had to complain to be put in upgraded rooms… SMH.

The Clarion Hotel has the bones of a really nice hotel. The lobby and atrium/lounge are well appointed with modern decor and finishes. The art on the walls could be better. There are interesting features like the gift shop and snack bar. But, the place just needs a "freshen-up"! Many light bulbs were out, some areas were dusty and dingy, and the interior signage was hard to find. There are a lot of mismatched and outdated carpets and colors, especially in the halls and rooms. Our air condition unit made a squeaking that kept waking us up at night. The bathroom was kinda old and rickety. The staff was fairly cordial but not too much. The breakfast was quite good, they just need to have at least 2 waffle irons to make the line move faster! The price was good! It's really close to being 4Star.

Don’t do it! For starters the pictures on the web site are false. The hotel has a decently decorated lobby but no air conditioning. As soon as I walked into the room it smelled like mold. Was only able to open one of the curtains to get light into the room. The other curtain was attached to the wall with a screw. The sheets in the bed were damp. The ottoman was full of stains. The carpet was stained and dirty (unsafe to walk with bare feet) the air conditioner in the room did not blow out cold air. When I complained to the receptionist at the front desk. She apologized and offered another room. When I asked for a refund, she said it’s a hotel policy not to refund when the room was paid for in cash. But she couldn’t produce a copy of the policy. Lastly when I asked to speak to a manager, I waited nearly 40 min. A manager never showed up. I finally received my refund after the receptionist ignored me for the duration of my time there. The only this review is receiving a star is so I can post it.

I'll start off with the good. The rooms are pretty nice and clean, and they have a lot of things that other hotels don't offer such as a blow dryer, safe and conditioner (instead of just shampoo). It also has a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and iron & ironing board. They also have a piano bar and free HOT breakfast, which is rare. The main negative about the Clarion is safety. This is located in a pretty dangerous part of the city, and it takes a lot for me to say that. I travel frequently and have stayed in tons of hotels and motels that everyone says is in a "dangerous" part. I have never agreed with them. I've always felt safe where I stayed… until the Clarion. It really is in an unsafe area. Also, the hotel is an absolute labyrinth. I had to hike to my room and go down winding hallway after winding hallway, just to get to my room. It is very easy to get lost. Overall, the rooms are nice and offer some nice things, but the good doesn't make up for the bad. I highly recommend staying in a hotel on International Drive instead.

Very beautiful place. Good breakfast. Not very many amenities. Service as a walk in guest was great. Good location near the airport. Love the piano bar. Room was alright. Just what we needed. Close to a lot of food chains and such.

Decent prices and convenient location. Nice pool area with big hot tub. Lots of breakfast options. Not the most updated hotel rooms but the beds are comfortable.

Really a nice hotel, friendly staff, spacious clean lobby area, breakfast was awesome lots of choices including fresh waffles you make yourself, delicious coffee & tea, fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, etc; the only downside was as soon as you enter the room there was a strong moldy odor. Being that I was only staying for 2 days, I didn't bother to ask for a different room because of that. Room & bathroom was clean & I only saw a bug once! Also the pool/jacuzzi area was beautiful & well maintained. I would definitely stay here again.

I arrived early they charged $25 to early check in, the customer service acted as if my presence was an issue, the room had no blow dryer I did work out and found the fitness center that no one seemed to know where it was. My room smelled bad so. I didn’t die, get robbed or come out with a disease but I wouldn’t send a friend there either.

The very large older Hotel is going through some sprucing up and getting updated. I was there for almost 2 weeks and overall have no complaints. The lobby is absolutely stunning and you can tell they are going to Great Lengths to update the property. The rooms are large and very soundproof, but the doors are thin. It's a safe location. The staff is very friendly and the manager is very Hands-On. Housekeeping is very trustworthy. Very nice large clean pool and a Jacuzzi. The best value in Orlando if you're looking for a non Resort experience. I did have an issue with my bathroom sink but they did fix it and the manager was very accommodative and offering me something to make up for my trouble.

I dont recommend this hotel for anything in the world. On May 15 our airline cancelled our flight. My husband called very early in the morning to cancel the reservation at the hotel, we send all the evidence from the cancelled flight and after along wait, the manager determined that they can gave us our money back, thats not a real manager. A real manager kept the clients we are very dissapointed.

The hotel was very run down. The lobby was nice, but the free breakfast was horrible. There was not much to choose from. There were multiple people smoking weed in the front corridor to the hotel. Our room had bed bugs and water bugs. We were placed into a corner room so we had to hear the door slamming all night. The tub did not have a sink drain so you can see rusted paint as you look down. There was also chipped paint on the ceiling of the tub so regardless if you look up of down, the site was not pretty. The pool was closed for 2 days due to a failed inspection. On top of all of this, the security guard was very harassing. I was using the computer around 2am and my sister was on the couch waiting for me, so he assumed that we did not have a room. Even after reassuring him that we had been staying here for 2 days, he still demanded to see our room key. I would never stay here again.

Well, for the price paid it was decent. I think it may have been the first hotel room I've stayed in that didn't have a desk and chair to work at. It didn't "feel" clean to me, and I encountered some bugs in the bathroom, but my expectations were not high for price paid. Good shuttle service to the airport, and if you need to park and fly, I think they let you do that here.

Great place for an overnighter. Really would be a good place for a whole trip. Very affordable; nice breakfast. Was pleasantly surprised. Brought wife and 4 year old and needed a place for a quick stop. The family did not complain once about anything there. :). 5 star in my book. Seems like it used to be the place to be, but time has passed and the hotel industry has gone wild, so I guess they were left behind, hence the price point. The faculty is still well kept; it is close enough to go to any of the parks. Takes 2 hours to get into and out of magic kingdom island b/c of the ferry/ tram… once you get on the road, what’s another 10 min drive to save $50-$75 / night?

This place exceeded my expectations. Vanessa and Karen at the front desk were more than accomodating. Helpful and honest, they were more than patient in my slightly complicated booking. You should know if someone is paying for your booking they will have to send an approval to run their card that front desk will email them. Karen was so patient in helping us through the process. Once I arrived Vanessa was GREAT in picking up where Karen left off and things went off without a hitch. My room was spotless, beautiful and top of the line. The property was gorgeous. With a free airport shuttle and crazy affordable prices this hotel will be my go-to Orlando lodging. Well done guys.

This hotel was beautiful! Not sure what all the bad reviews are from but they certainly are not about the Clarion. We stayed in the executive wing and we could not have been more pleased! This hotel was top notch, beautiful. The staff were great including our shuttle driver! Very professional and courteous. Highly recommended!

I witness staff terrorizing guest. Yes! Terrorizing. Is this America? The Clarion staff ganged up a family screaming, bullying, and threaten tourist. I stepped in and defused the situation, because it felt as if it was going to become a blood bathe. (20 people involved) I tried to comfort the tourist and then the staff turned on me. The manager Regina stood by while her staff screamed and screamed at me. The staff stalked me, ostracize me, and terrorized me. Security was no where to be found. Do not waste your money at this prison facility.

Good location, only lack of variety at breakfast but it's OK because their prices are very affordable.

Not worth it! We booked a room here through Go Port Canaveral. All we needed was a quick one night stay to catch the shuttle to the cruise ship. The building is falling apart — nothing worked in the gym equipment room, and our room smelled of death. But again we only needed it for one night so we stayed. HOWEVER the girl at the front desk is terrifying and rude and is the reason I slept with one eye open. Perhaps she was having a rough day but as a grown ass adult she should not be mimicking me at check in. Nor should she be throwing staplers at me when I ask to borrow one, and accusing me of trying to steal it before "handing" it over to me. A simple no would have been fine! I too am not a fan of people — but I don't work at a front desk! SMH.

This place is ok for a cost effective overnight place near the airport — room was fine if a little musty and dated. Shuttle service worked fine to go to airport to collect hire car in morning.

Room and especially the bathroom exceptionally shabby. Coffee maker didn't work. Clean enough but overall so shabby. A budget hotel in every way. Staff very nice.

Okay for the price. They stated they only change sheets every three days but I had to ask to get original sheets changed on day five. No housekeeping at all for next two days so someone must have been upset with my request. Shuttle to Universal doesn't run often enough but it is free. Extra charge to use in room safe. Hot tub was initially lukewarm but after three requests they raised the temp.

The hotel is well… not the best of the best but they strive to be, the person very friendly, the room clean and comfortable. The pool is super nice and very clean. The breakfast was very nice. The only one but I would put it is by the elevators, they are old. It's generally acceptable.

Great hotel! Close to the Orlando Airport and they got my taxi all set up for me, I had to leave at 3 am to get to the airport with enough time. I think they're doing some renovations, but other than that the front desk staff was amazing. I think her name was Jessica. Super helpful and would def recommend the Clarion for anyone looking for a decent room that's, not too expensive. And it was right next to the place where I rented my car so that was helpful.

Located close to Orlando Airport is only accessible from the shuttle which must be advised by calling at the hotel. It happened though that the lady at the front desk could not answer the phone due to too much work so it is better to position yourself in the shuttle area and ask which goes to the Clarion hotel (Mc Coy Road) Otherwise you are likely to stay at the airport. All in all the property is huge cute undergoing renovation. The room was very clean Beware if you are without a car in Area C it is little to see mandatory call a taxi (40/45minuti $110/120)

Not the worst place I've stayed in, but there were roaches, poor fit and finish to things, no microwave and thin blankets. The hotel has a large courtyard connected to the lobby that is NOT air conditioned. It was in the 30s outside and we had to eat breakfast in easily 50 degree weather INSIDE. And for get me started on breakfast. I called ahead to inquire about the breakfast and booked SPECIFICALLY because they told me "waffles, eggs, and sausage. " When I showed up to the restaurant/buffet there was a large beautiful picture of pancakes. But there were NO WAFFLES or pancakes. So I booked the place based on a lie told to me over the phone. The price was too high for what we got not to mention all of the crappy parts. Not recommended!

No bugs in one of the newly renovated rooms, but it definitely wasn't clean. The housekeeping team clearly sucks. The bathroom, had hair, pubes, and the shower was nasty. The door joining the two rooms, looks like someone had attempted to pry the door open. The whole room was very moist, humid. You could feel the water in the air. My main complaint though, was the cleanliness of the room. Definitely needed a deep, thorough cleaning.

Pool and hot tub were closed "until further notice", no mention of this when booking. After we had checked into our rooms, the front desk apparently double-booked the room and gave some other family keys to our room. They opened the door while we were inside and were only stopped by the latch lock. That was a strange mixup which I've never had happen at any other hotel. There was also no room service at the hotel, though they did have menus for nearby restaurants that deliver. Other than those negatives, the hotel was clean (although not updated except the main lobby/atrium) and staff was friendly. The pool area looked nice, it just would have been nice to have been able to use it. We just stayed there overnight before our early morning flight, and for that purpose the hotel was acceptable (though not outstanding by any means).

This motel/hotel was a lot cleaner and nicer than we expected. It was cheap but didn't make you feel bad about being there. Also they updated mostly everything so it feels modern.

Disgusting rent a car at reliant by mistake are some thieves.

This hotel has been the worst I’ve ever stayed too. The young lady at the front desk was very nice, the night we checked in. The front entrance and lobby looked very nice. The picture of the rooms must have been photoshopped because they don’t look the same. But once we got to the rooms, the carpet was filthy. We had one wash cloth for two people. The second day we asked for more wash cloth, the housekeeper said she didn’t have any. I called the front desk (that was at 9am) for some washcloths and she said they were behind on laundry and will bring some soon as possible. I waited until 12pm no cloths. I went downstairs she said they still didn’t have any wash cloths. I went to every housekeeper buggy and found two. As we return that night. The house keeper did not come and clean our room and once again no wash cloth. At this point I wanted to speak to a manager and of course none on duty. The young man told us they didn’t have any wash cloths and that they can give us some hand towels to wash with. I don’t understand how you can run a hotel without wash cloths. I advise no one to spend there money here. I had to give it a star in order to post but this hotel doesn’t deserve a star at all.

The lady that checked me in had a horrible attitude, I can't remember her name but you'll know if she checks you in, housekeeping wouldn't leave two washcloths in the room, I thought it would be common sense to leave one for each of the two beds in the room. The laminate on the door was peeling. The sausage patties on the breakfast bar we're so overcooked, you could sew two of them together and make a nice coin purse but the rest was pretty good. The place has potential though, it could be a great hotel.

First the only thing that I didn't like about the property was breakfast. It was really bad. During my stay at the property, my husband got highly inebriated and assaulted me and put me out our room. I went down stairs to the front desk in tears. The staff was wonderful, the front desk clerk immediately called for security. He escorted my husband off the property. They then called Ems as well as the police to report the attack. Not only that but to insure my protection, they moved me out of that room into another. They were very efficient as to keeping all shifts over the next few days aware of the situation. On my last night there my husband came back to the property in an attempt to speak with me, front desk called me and I was able to get my husband arrested for trying to kill me. So I give this hotel and there staff the highest kudos I can give. Thank you guys so much. The fast and efficient actions off the hotel staff, may have very well saved my life.

No matter where you stay in this place there is something wrong. A friend and I rented rooms there. My room had a fridge and microwave, but did not have a phone. My friend had the phone, but was missing the fridge and microwave. We needed to ask for ice buckets which should be there automatically. My friend's room smelled like mildew. Mine just didn't smell very clean. The breakfast is horrible. It is passable at best. The eggs are okay, but you get no bacon and the sausage was so hard that I'm not even sure if anyone should be eating it. They are dry and are like rubber. They are in dire need of a new toaster as waiting for toast at the highest setting takes forever. This becomes a problem when there was a large line forming behind you because of the toaster. The toaster has seen better days. The toaster has earned a retirement. They don't turn on the TVs in the dining area because they need the fire stick when they should have cable TV. This place has lots of potential but I do think it needs much improvement. I think further renovations are needed. I really feel management needs to step it up.

Nice Hotel, typically American-

Boy oh boy. So my daughter and I stayed here for one night this weekend during her dance competition. We arrived at 9pm after being on the road and then busy since 4:00 am. Check in took twenty minutes while myself and my twelve year old were "entertained by the inappropriate shouting from the lobby bar. We were directed to our room on the second floor of a building with no elevator. Upon our arrival, the keys would not unlock the door. So we walked down and all the way back to the lobby. No apologies, not a care. Snatched the cards from me… Fixed it and said goodnight. We were exhausted, went upstairs and went to sleep. When I woke up in the morning u searched the whole room for coffee. It was 5am… No coffee in the room and breakfast want served until 7! What?! So I go to call the front desk and guess what? No phone in my room either! What the hell? I called the lobby from my cell phone… Only for whoever answered to be the biggest jerk … Have they ever heard of customer service? He said, I don't know why you have no coffee or phone you can come to the lobby for both… Uh. No I'm not coming down there in my pajamas at 5am for coffee and I needed the phone to call the lobby… He says oh well… Oh ok… I then decided I want even going to try the breakfast… This place is terrible. I will never ever return. We were there for nine hours. Nine. And if I didn't need sleep, I would have walked out after ten minutes.

We requested a microwave and refrigerator. We were told that the hotel was booked full and they could not pull it from another room. We also requested a floor lamp because the two lamps on the wall where dim. We were told the same thing that they didn't have enough lamps in the hotel for every room to have one. On the first night we had two towels and and two washcloths. When maid services came they took the towels we used the day before but gave us two towels and one washcloth. My wife called down to the front desk and was told that housekeeping was going to bring one up. An hour later I went down to get a wash cloth and was told they didn't have any and they told me to use a floor towel not a hand towel but a floor towel. I understand when a hotel is booked but there should be supplies and furniture for the rooms.

Location is great very close to the airport with free shuttle to airport. Free breakfast, during the weekend there were good warm breakfast such as delicious scramble eggs, 4 types of juice, donuts, etc… The rooms seem new, just remodeled. The pool was nice too.

The lobby area is beautiful! Very bright, spacious and inviting. Then when I got to my room it was a bit disappointing because it wasn't a renovated one. Plus, I had just left a Marriott suite and was upset that this Clarion's mini fridge didn't even have a freezer section. So I had to throw my frozen food out. Though it wasn't pretty, it was clean. But in the bathroom, one of the towel holders fell off the wall. And the bathroom door didn't shut all the way. Also, the washcloths had little black hairs… It was tough to sleep because I could constantly hear doors opening and slamming shut. There were sketchy people in the hall. One woman, dressed in barely nothing, was knocking on quite a few doors. I was set to stay for an entire week and Irma was a few days away. I didn't feel comfortable there at all to withstand a hurricane so my fiancé and I checked out after that first day. Great thing is they didn't charge us any fees.

They do not put soap or shampoo is uncomfortable the rooms very well the outside parts a bit danandas. But in general it meets what is wanted… just go to sleep.

Super great value, super nice staff, next door to a 711, and over 80 cable channels! (keep clicking up after 45) You all do remember there was a hurricane that whipped through here like, a minute ago, right? $59 for a room? Come on; this place WAY EXCELLS expectations! Everyone I told about the great deal assumed it must be a home in the wall — No way! Clarion is exactly what I hoped — — perfect!

Horrible conditions. As soon as I opened the room door I was hit with a terrible mildew odor. Would have given no Stars if possible. Wet carpets with mold on them. Garbage on floor from previous guests. Poor water pressure. Some outlets not working. Stains on wall curtains and ceiling. Internet was intermittent. Tv froze while watching. Back door in hallway was propped open. Elevator seemed like I would have died in it. Took the the stairs instead. Would not recommend. If the management is reading this I took plenty of pictures this is not an exaggeration. Room 5233.

Really enjoyed my stay! 2nd floor only, but elevator needed. Nice restaurant. Bar, large space. Nice looking, large lobby. Friendly staff. Yes, a good hotel for you to stay.

I give it a 4 for the value. They offer a lot for the cost. Rooms are comfortable. Consider here before you try something that costs twice as much.

Very interesting place. I guess it's good for a one night crash. Two expensive for and super strange place… looks a bit like from a horror movie. Good distance from airport.

Extremely noisy AC. And very poor breakfast. If anyone has allergy on lactose, you will only have pancakes with jam or peace of bread. From Clarion I expected higher standard. Room as such was spacious and clean. The lobby area looks very nice. The airport shuttle is not free though. The shuttle driver literally stopped us and asked if we are "set" showing on money. I thought tips were ones decision to give and not for the receiver to demand. When we said that the shuttle is free as we were told, the guy was almost surprised.

The airport shuttle was very convenient and the lobby was modern and clean. The rooms however, were pretty dismal. The bed had a huge divot in the center and my husband and I rolled toward each other when we laid down. The bathroom shower head had a big leak and sprayed in every direction. The pictures online were somewhat misleading as to the quality of the hotel. But if you're looking for a quick one night stay between flights like we were, it's not the worst choice.

The staff was very friendly and helpful when I arrived and throughout my stay. The lobby and other public paces were very open and spacious with pretty cream leather modern furniture. There were renovations going on in the guest room area of the hotel. So I'm guessing they are updating the guest rooms to match the beautiful modern look of the rest of the hotel. It is very convenient if you are coming from or going to the airport, it has a very good price point, and is clean. Good place to stay.
