You can charge your phone or tablet. While you wait there is a bathroom and a drinking fountain. There are lots of info on local events, coupons, visitor/dining guide and when restaurant menus. Also this place has air conditioning and heating to keep you comfortable.

The woman we spoke with at the welcome center was very friendly and full of information. She helped us decide where we were going to stay the night and what activities we could do. We were hoping to ride the historic train but it wasn't open yet. Glad we stopped in.

Very knowledgeable staff. Clean restrooms, a great place to go for ideas on how to spend your time there.

They offer a lot of different brochures. Went here with my fiancée and we got their magazine which shows all the popular restaurants, we were happy with all of the ones we went to, friendly staff and they even have clean restrooms.

Lots and lots of info about area plus great maps for local hiking! They also have clean restrooms while you shop along Main Ave at Christmas.

Everything about Durango was wonderful. The Welcome Center was clean and had walls full of different things to do!

Nice people here it was the only public restroom in the downtown area that we could find.

We were in room 418 with a river view with some traffic noise. Just FYI, room 402 is near the elevator and vending machines and that might be a little noisy. Overall the stay was what we expected. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. We are giving it 4 stars because the complimentary Wi-Fi was awful. We could not stay connected and had to constantly log on.

Outstanding place to stay. Clean and very friendly staff. The breakfast was pricey but very good. Will recommend it to everyone.

This hotel is very well located. Downtown is a five minute walk away, and the hotel is barely two minutes drive crib the highway. The rooms and facilities are lovely, exactly what you expect from Hilton.

A fine, better than average hotel. Rooms are large, easily accommodating bicycles and skiis. Bathrooms are modern. Our mattresses appeared to be sufficiently new there were no lumps, and reasonably firm. But I only stayed with a view of the river. If it were the other side, the ratings would be lower. (Bar is good, but limited in beer selections and the cafe by the river always closed so early that it surprised the folks in the restaurant. )

My friend and I recently visited Durango and ran into a problem late at night and went in search of help at the welcome center. We ran into the center looking for guidance. We were going to be hiking the Weminuche Wilderness for a week and our hotel was not letting us keep our rental car in the hotel lot due to space constraints. We were in trouble. Debbie got right on the phone and searched for a solution for us. Within minutes we were walking down to the Durango Downtown Inn to see if they would let us use their lot for a week. They did allow us to — our problem was solved. The part of this story that is special, though is that Debbie offered to take our car to her house for the week for safe keeping. She also offered us other options which would have helped us out as well but it would have been some work for her. She showed us what Durango was all about — a small town feel which I loved and appreciate so much. Thank you for your help Debbie — you are a special person! Our trip in the wilderness was great too! I really enjoyed my stay here. It was my second time staying here and I have no complaints. Ask for a room on the bottom floor and you can literally walk out and enjoy the Animas River.

Nice and spacious room! Fun pool for the kids and an all around beautiful place.
