Lovely, simple room. AC extremely responsive. Clean, nice stay.

Nice clean rooms, right off the street, with easy parking lot. Pleasant staff, newly remodeled bathrooms. Fridge in the room. Great Wi-Fi. Great housekeeping staff! Whether you need a place to catch some good sleep before or after a flight, or a nice clean base for touring or working in the area without spending a lot of cash, Bayhill Inn San Bruno should bide top of the list.

Rooms are small, currently updating rooms, beds comfy, clean, worth the money.

Friendly staff and I LOVE the fact that they have a dimmer so that I can have some light in the room without nearly blinding myself if I need to get up in the dark lol. Wish they had more towels, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Non smoking rooms had too much cigarette smell, unclean sheets sometimes…

Tiny, tiny room. Left the windows open to let the smell of disinfectant out, and hardly noticed it after the first night.

Booked through Hotwire on September 1 for two nights. We arrived at about 2:15am on the 2nd. There was no one at the help desk and we buzzed and waited for about 10 minutes for the employee to come and see us. He had obviously just woken up. He didn't have our reservation on his computer and was basically trying to refuse our room regardless that we offered him confirmation numbers, bank statements, etc. Turns out he had a fax sitting in his machine that was our reservation. We didn't get in to our room until after 3am. The room smelled like stale smoke and the door required significant effort to close. Would not return and would not recommend. Two stars cause at least they had cable and Wi-Fi.

It's a nice, clean little hotel close by the airport. They were around $60 cheaper than every other hotel in the area. Our room was clean, and spacious. Our bed was huge and the internet was quick! Highly recommend.

The place is maintained well enough, but my room was barely big enough for the bed and directly under the flight path for SFO. Food options in walking distance include Chili's and… well, just Chili's, really. For me, though, the real reason I won't be coming back is the lack of a coffee maker.

Stayed for three nights over Memorial Day weekend for a wedding. Clean, cozy, modern room. Friendly staff, and surprisingly quiet area (especially for being close to the airport and just off a main street). Grateful for the free parking, and when the lot was full (usually when getting back late at night), there was always available street parking out front. Only tiny complaint, no little shampoo and soap provided, just an industrial pump in the shower containing a shampoo-conditioner-body'wash mixture — — BUT, if you're snobby about your hair and body soap, there's a Walgreens just down the street to the West, and a Lucky's down the street to the East. If my friend's guest house isn't ready by our next visit, we'll 100% stay here again!

It was a nice cozy room, however I felt it was quite small for the price, when we needed blankets at night we couldn't get it, and there was not an iron readily available. There was just a soap dispenser rather than a bar or bottles, and no breakfast. Location was convenient.

Location was the reason why we chose to stay. Check in and out was convenient. And since they do not have breakfast service or in room coffee, found other locations for food a few minutes near by. The room only had a single dresser/mirror with counter space and bedside table. Not enough for two people trying to get ready and had to place some items on the floor or leave in our luggage. Bed wasn't comfortable, but the pillows were. Had to ask for a new set of sheets from the front desk. We could tell there was upgrades done to the room and the furniture placement seemed like it could've used some more thought. Bathroom was clean and spacious.

Room was clean, price was perfectly fine for one night. Bed was comfortable and the room well equipped.

Has everything you need. It is a bit small but you have Wi-Fi, a fridge, a microwave and an ice box. Just a little hard to find parking in the parking lot.

The rooms are small but suitable. They offer anything you'll basically need. It's not luxurious at all but sufficient. Free Wi-Fi is available only inside the rooms the coverage isn't always good. Nonetheless an OK hotel.

Non-existent internet on 2nd floor, empty TP roll on check-in, scary lobby looks like a target for 7-11 knock-over artists, uneven bed, very dated and scuzzy fixtures. I had booked for 5 days, checked out after 1, but nobody was available at 8am to handle this. Wtf.

United Airlined Customer Service really did a disservice when it put me in the Bayhill Inn after they cancelled my flight. Note this hotel does not have a shuttle service — — no matter what United Airlines Customer Service says. The Bayhill Inn is a 1/2 star hotel. The room smelled of smoke and came with ash trays and a TV that only got one channel. This is where bed pillows go to when they die — — 3 pillows stacked together almost worked. Torn carpets. Holes in the wall. The door let in lots of fresh air. Lots of road noise. Note the check-in desk is behind bullet-proof glass. The bathroom floor came with loads of long black hair. Stay away. And don't let United put you up here, just sleep at the airport — — it'll be cleaner.

The one plus for this place is that it was $200/night cheaper than the Marriott across the street. The room lacked the very, very basic stuff you'd expect from even a motel, such as tissues or shampoo, let alone a modern television or climate control system that wasn't louder than the traffic outside. Every aspect of the room disappointed. I'm sure there are better options in the same price range around SFO.
