Is it perfect? No, but then again nothing is. I can say this about the The SeaScape Inn, we got our money's worth while staying there! The SeaScape Inn on Judah Street in S. F. California is conveniently located; it's extremely close to the beach, the zoo, Golden Gate Park, and in short driving distance to the many "sights" of San Francisco! The staff is extremely friendly! The inn is old, but the rooms are updated and clean! When we were there (May 2018), the price was great. My only complaint would be the lack of parking… but they don't charge for parking like other places do.

Nice hotel, pretty big room. Right across the street from the beach. We ended up spending most of our time on the other side of town so we spent quite a bit on Uber and public transportation. Knowing that now I would have spent more and gotten a hotel on the east side. But if you want to go to golden gate park and the beach this is a great location. Staff was super friendly and let us park our car there in the morning we checked in, that was very helpful!

Good for the price. And help from registration desk was good! They explained us everything I asked about. Quiet and clean room, close to beach, Free Parking + Totally enjoyed the stay.

1. Room we get was in front of tram. First night was not possibke to sllep. Scond night personal change the room so we can sleep. Rooms new restrored and clean. We was wake up 00.30 one night because we were laud tthat was not us. : ( ( (

A very bad experience. I had to give it one star to post a review but it doesn’t deserve even 1 star. The first room I was given was dirty with dirty, sticky spots all over the floor and a dirty shower. The shutters were broken and the room smelled like old Indian food. The desk clerk moved me but had to inspect the room first where he found it unacceptable. The second room I was given was clean but there were ants in the bed and the train was right in front of the room. No ocean view just a view of the street. Very loud with street noise. When I asked to check out because I could not stay in room with ants in my bed, desk clerk Bablo accused me of bringing the ants into the hotel and threatened to charge me $200 to get rid of the ants I brought to his hotel. He inspected the room amd found ants in the bed but still accused me of planting the ants there. I would not stay in that hotel again. Dirty and banged up for being newly remodeled. The staff was rude and condescending. No ocean view from either of the 2 rooms I was given.

I booked a room for August but today I received an email saying it was cancelled. Now I have to find other accommodations for my family and I. Stay away from this company if you want an enjoyable vacation Thanks, Fairbridge Hotel for the insulting 10% off my next stay coupon for the inconvenience. **sarcasm** I will NEVER stay with you in the future because I like my family vacations to go smoothly.

The room smelled terrible. The staff was nice but a little different. They took out the fridge and microwave which is what caused the smell. Then in the morning they walked in the room without even knocking. The walls are super thin so you hear everything. Not worth the price paid.

Bare Bones Hotel. But good for the price with lots to do nearby.

Clean rooms, a lot of space. Friendly staff at the front desk. I would always come back.

Our room was filthy upon arriving, my partner had to clean the bathroom. The fridge was dirty. The only thing that was clean was the bedding. I would have cancelled our second night, but really needed the bed, so we showered at a friend's place since this shower was so poorly laid out that it floods the bathroom. I know disabled bathrooms are hard to get right, but come on!

This place isa 2.5 star hotel. It is remodeled but it seems like haven't kept up with maintenance. Bed sheets and pillow cases had stains on them. Floor was also stained. Friendly staff. I guess you get what you pay for here.

Recently remodeled, it is essentially a Tenderloin hotel. The new beds are A+, but the wooden floors are very loud. DO NOT TAKE CHILDREN TO THIS HOTEL! The neighborhood transforms as the sun goes down. At night the street is full of homeless, druggies and psychotic people yelling profanities at all hours of the night. These same people are frequently clients of the hotel. Not a reliable place for a good nights sleep.

Great experience on our SF vacation at the SeaScape Inn! The price was very good compared with hotels closer to downtown, and I personally really loved the location. It is about a 15 minute Uber ride to downtown, but the neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful at all times! It was a nice escape after each day spent in the craziness of the city. The rooms have all been recently remodeled so it had a very modern feel to it. Its half a block from the beach, which was a huge bonus for me. Great coffee place right on the corner. It does however come with a few cons, which is why I gave it 4 stars. The walls are thin and have bad insulation, so you can hear other guests when they get loud, and also people walking on the floor above you (try to get top floor). Also I recommend closing the bathroom door at night, because the pipes can be pretty loud when other guests use the shower in the morning. If they took care of properly insulating the walls and floors I would give this place 5 stars!

Flew in late to the city and was pleasantly surprised! parking onsite was not an issue and the room was updated, clean and huge! right across the street from ocean beach, will be staying here again! had a room overlooking the street and train but not an issue, gave us the city feel…

Really nice rooms and service. The inside looks recently remodeled. My phone wouldn't connect to Wi-Fi, but my computer would.

Great location, nice modern room with all the amenities. The parking is very easy and good customer service.

It's near the beach and the rooms are large. However, the Wi-Fi is abysmal, the TV has no signal, the plumbing leaks creating a growing puddle, I have yet to see any house keeping, and it also seems like the entire place has one employee who is working very hard to do everything with no other support staff. My sheets had some stains on them, on the side so it wasn't as nasty as it would have been had they been in the middle. Oh, the shower nob fell off while I was trying to adjust the water temperature. Luckily, I was able to push it back on. It kind of seems like the whole place was renovated by people who had only a partial knowledge of how to do that work. It gets 2 stars for the excellent location and the fact that the room had enough towels. I wish I could give 2.5 Correction, there is a housekeeping person. One person. The TV got fixed, the leak never did.

Hotel by the beach. 2 blocks away. Our room had a view. Doesn't look like much from the outdide. Rooms recently updated but still not completely finished, still needs some work. Riom doors are old and loud. Lobby attendant very helpful. Parking limited, but free. Free coffee and juice in the lobby. Rooms are comfortable. Definitely consider staying there again.

Very good value. Exactly right at the end of the N line, it's still reasonably convenient to rest of SF. This, even though it's in Outer Sunset. A person can tell it's a family-owned business, and that they're renovating the hotel room by room, hallway by hallway. We stayed in a very-newly-renovated room and it was fine. Some comparatively minor details remain for them to catch up on that are hold-over details from the first iteration of the hotel. For instance, the skylights in the bathrooms are dirty. The front door to our room could use one of those runners affixed to the bottom of the door, to cut down on hallway noise. But the cleanliness, the service, and the desire to help were excellent. Very gentle cool ocean breeze came through the brand-new windows. Excellent indie coffee house next door. All of this, along with the price and the accessibility with the muni, made this hotel in my opinion an excellent choice for us.

We recently stayed at this Inn and had a wonderful experience! The rooms have been remodeled and the colors are delightful. We found the room with 2 queen beds to be very clean with new mattresses, shower/bath facilities, and refrigerator microwave. The staff went out of their way to ensure that all our needs were met. We were completely satisfied with everything.

Comfortable bed room satisfactory new bathroom. Unfortunately adjacent to the tram terminal therefore very noisy rooms from the 05th. 00 at 11:00.00. Friendly and obliging staff.

You get what you pay for… The location was great and price is right, but that's the only good thing I can say about this place. 1. Non-existent staff: our flight was delayed 2 hours, and since the website says "check-in until 10pm" I tried to call to confirm late check-in. More than 5 attempts and no answer. Also tried to call front desk several times during our stay due to VERY noisy upstairs neighbors, and never answered. 2. Dirty: the shower had a half used shampoo bottle; used hand towel; stains on one of the comforters; hairs in the bathtub. Gross! I tried to call and stop by the front desk. See above. 3. "Renovating" Don't bother.

We were tempted here by the price but ended up finding bed bugs in our room. Management was nice about refunding us for the nights we didn't stay there. However, I wouldn't risk staying here. Bed bugs can be a nightmare to get rid of.

I'm sure there are swankier hotels but we had a great time at the W. Natalie helped us check in and she was very helpful and nice and patient with us. Our room wasn't that big but we had enough room for our stuff and to move around. Our view left a lot to be desired but that didn't matter as we hardly spent time there but the beds were comfortable and we were grateful for the bliss body products and free drink coupons and free passes to Crunch Fitness.

This place has a good price/quality ratio. The rooms are quite big and clean enough. If you get a room away from the street the tram does not bother in the night, and its really practical to go to the city with. Only minus that comes to my mind is the sound isolation of the hallway doors. If somebody talks in the hallway you will hear it loud and well. Addition: this hotel is not molded like it says on some reviews. I get symptoms quickly from mold and I stayed here 2 nights and I was fine.

I pooped in the adjacent room and they were cool with it so it's cool in my book.

I don't even want to rate this hotel with a star! Service was horrible hotel was disgusting! Mildew on the bathroom ceilings. The owners need to clean this hotel! I would never stay there again! And never recommend to anyone.

We came into the city to see the sunset while down visiting some friends in the Bay and then decided we didn't feel like making the 2.5 hour drive home. We walked in to the lobby and they had a room available so we hurriedly parked our car, put our stuff in the room, and checked out the space. The room was adequate and the bed was comfortable. It was clean but not meticulously so. We had an ocean view (yay! ) and enjoyed our easy trip to the Inner Sunset for dinner. When we got back, the neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed a good nights sleep. It was great waking up next to the beach and getting coffee at the cafe next door. We thought the price was reasonable for SF and we will definitely stay again.

The rooms aren't spectacular, but they're clean. Make sure you get a room with good shower pressure.

Disgusting place. Very dirty and old.

I stayed there last year on three separate occasions and will stay there again as soon as I have a chance… had multiple rooms for family members cause our Great grandchild was at UCSF… next time my stay well be just to attend the day sightseeing… I love the convince of bring able to leave car parked at motel and catching the Muni in front at the turnaround and also the close walk to the beach. At night is was so quiet and peaceful that it didn't even seen like being in the city. Rooms were cleans and Manager was extra polite and the price was reasonable… I give it 3 stars cause there was no continental breakfast… but breakfast restaurants in both corners with fantastic good on more up the street, but advisable to walk alone at night…

April 2015. Nasty. Everything you can think of was stained and dirty. Floor, bed, lamp shades, curtains, towels, rags, counter tops, and walls. It reaked of mold and mildew. Bathroom covered in Mold! Bed sheets were damp. Everything made my skin crawl! 1 star for being near ocean and public transportation. Will not recommend to anyone. Way too pricey for what you actually get.

Horrible! Do NOT Book here! I booked a one night stay for my family and I, had the reservation confirmation and everything, showed the night of our stay or the manager to tell me we do not have a reservation and there are no rooms available! So we went looking for another place to stay, picked the Great Highway Inn, MUCH BETTER appearace and very nice staff by the way! To make a long story short Oceanview still charged my debit card and doesn't want to refund my money sayig, I was no show! Thank goodness for having a good bank, they are getting my refund back and told me not to worry. dont stay here unless you want to be framed.

Regardless of so many bad comments I dared to book a room and was skeptical about the condition of the room and all but guess what. I had very comfortable and luxurious stay for the price I paid. You get TV cable with 100+ channels, refrigerator, microwave, AC and towel changed, bathroom cleaned bed fixed. Nice place to stay. And dun forget to tip a maid she never forgets to make a flower with the towel in bathroom. Happy stay.

Im sitting in this room everything is dirty, stains maybe even blood stains on the towels. Stains on all 4 of the pillows. I dont mind staying in cheap motels but this is way over the top disgusting.

The area is very nice, the beach, perfect for surfing. Golden Gate Park is less than a 10-minute walk. The hotel is not 5 star but has a very good relationship quality price.
It has tram at the door, good for travel to the downtown line.

Really cool place to stay. Nice and clean, staff doesn't bug you. Right next to beach! Also a coffee shop at the corner! Micros and fridges are pretty nice to have just in case and the fact that the lead singer from sublime died here makes it even cooler.
