After a long day on the road, it was such an amazing experience to find such comfort.

Our church have its yearly family conference in this hotel for 10 years now, maybe more, and this is our second time joining. We definitely love it here, apart from spacious and clean rooms, the weather is perfect too during this time of the year.

I had a great time at this hotel during my conference there. Clean rooms very friendly staff.

The Staff is very accommodating, friendly, and professional.

My stay has been great! The workers are really nice and diligent about their work. The bed fits 3 comfortably if need be. Each unit has 2 electric stove burners, a dishwasher, microwave, and a tv. The couch has a bed in it also.

This isn't your typical hotel. The rooms are set up like an apartment complex. The rooms are large with a living room area, a fireplace and a fairly large kitchen. You could certainly spend a lot of time here. The pools looked nice and well maintained (our rooms were facing one of them). The complimentary breakfast was pretty good for free breakfast. Nice assortment. The attendants are friendly and accommodating.

I am staying here for about a month and a half. The hot water heater cut out and they keep giving me the run around on when it will be fixed. I was told that it would be fixed that day. Well I leave and come back around 7 to find out the water heater was still broken. I called only to be told the repair team had left for the day. I would of been okay with this had they given me a courtesy call. A few weeks later the sewer line goes out in my new room. This time the front desk manager was fast to contacting me and even helped move my bags to the new room. The new room is an upgrade on the more quiet side of the complex.

Updated review* Well, I haven't had any problems with this Residence Inn until now (have been coming here since 2015 a few times a year for work. Some grounds keeper pulled a — no beer and music rule on me when I was alone in the pool area. Someone give that guy a hug, he need one. 08/2018 update Well of course my company assigned me this hotel again. Everything is going alright here, which it usually does besides a few little things. One thing that I miss about this place is the access to propane grills by the pools. I've been coming here for years through my company and we all ised to enjoy each other's company by cooking on the grill after a successful trip. The grills are gone and there is (1) grill available for use now. You have to reserve it and you ONLY have 45 minutes of use. This is the same grill that they serve the evening food on a few days a week. I was going to reserve it… But after carting everything I wanted to cook all the way to the main building… I figured I'll just cook stove top. Bring back the grills folks.

I'm sorry but this was the WORST hotel experience I have ever had. First thing I do in the room is check the shower head and tub. The first room the shower head was nasty with pink mold… went back down to get another room the front desk clerk was nice about it even have me and upgrade. Went to the new room the door wouldn't open, went back to the front desk got a new set of keys went back, still wouldn't open. They called the maintenence guys 4 of them showed up… went back up to the room the guy tells me the door is broken you'll have to get another room. Finally got smart put my bags in the car… went back got another room, again checked the shower, shower head nasty AGAIN! Again went back to get another room told the guy I would like someone to check the shower before I get into the room. Went to sit down to wait patiently in the lobby, noticed the cushions on the couches were stained and dirty… after 45 minutes, guy came back with a bottle of bleach and a rag and said the room was good. Got my key went to the room, checked the shower and it was better than the other 2 but still had some pink up in the nooks of the shower head. During the night I woke up hot had to go turn the cooler on because it had shut off on its own sometime in the night… I understand that they would be some calcium build up but come on to have mold growing and stained cushions in a 4 star hotel is unsat. I will never stay at this Residence Inn ever again. They need to take better care of this hotel.

This was a great place to stay it was very clean we had all the amenities we needed we were located right out of the swimming pool and jacuzzi area the main office was within close walking distance. There breakfast every day was wonderful and far better than other places I have stayed. They had waffles fresh fruit eggs oatmeal cereal Bagels toast you name it they had it. Check in and out was very easy. I would recommend this stay.

Lovely hotel rooms! I seriously couldn't ask for a better stay. Me and my family stayed in two rooms with 6 kids in total so they gave us a near by rooms:) Also we were able to save on money since they have complimentary breakfast yummy food! The pool and hot tub was a plus too.

Very Nice Hotel with a full kitchen. Much more like an extended stay apartment than a hotel room. Next to the golf course and a pretty good breakfast buffet included in the price. Hard to do better in Oxnard.

We had to stay here while our house got repaired. Was crazy having a puppy and newborn in the room but the king suite was lovely and had more than enough space. Right next to the golf course. Wish they had the full room service but the free breakfast was cool! Thanks.

Very nice place to stay. The hotel staff were quick polite and helpful. Morning buffet was typical but very well done. Bed and room where very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Very nice hotel. The rooms are in little mini buildings with studios on the 1st floor and 2 bed 2 bath lofts on the 2nd. There's 2 pools (outdoor) with hot tubs. Has to be the largest RI I have ever been to. There's a golf course on the rear of the property. Very quiet. I'll definitely stay here again!

I must say… I was very happy with this property. It's location is fantastic and it's service was really excellent. I very rarely take first floor rooms, however did in the case of this hotel. As was expected a group of teen's had the room above. Not wanting to be the cranky neighbor I placed the responsibility of contacting and asking them to quit stomping as if they were playing a squash the ant game upstairs. The first offer from the front desk was to move my room which was awesome however everything was already in it's place. So instead I asked them just to give a nice call to the room and go from there. It quieted down quickly after that call! Bravo to the front desk, who then followed up to check and make sure it was all better. The breakfast was one of the larger spreads I've seen at a Residence Inn as well, I didn't leave hungry. Finally the property itself was one of the apartment complex style, and while older it was still attractive and the surroundings and location quiet and beautiful.

Excellent service and restful sleep are all one hopes for when working on the road. Residence Inn Oxnard raised the bar with our apartment; everything worked well, bedrooms were roomy and the common area allowed everyone to work together when needed. Kitchen was large enough to cook for 4 with plenty of room to sit and eat.

Best place to stay in Ventura County for extended stay. Great breakfast included with room. Afternoon "mixer" best way to network, learn about the area and enjoy the food and beverages offered.

Beautiful, large, clean comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast service. The food is hot and fresh. The rooms are well put together though the parking leaves much to be desired. Occasionally a long walk from the parking lot to the room, but altogether a comfortable and fun place for families to stay.

Very cozy and homely. Quiet and nice. The breakfast is reasonably good as well. It’s like having a home! Pets allowed also. There are places where you can walk your dog.

Stayed here during the fires. Really clean graft service and spacious rooms. Lots of things to do.

I stayed at this hotel for a company workshop. Location is good with easy access to a close by shopping mall and freeway access. Great views over rolling golf greens and delicious food. The staff is very friendly and accommodating!

Stayed there for 2 nights. Chose this location because it was pet friendly (we have 2 dogs). Could have done with a few more channels to chose from on the TV and the breakfast sausage patties were a little like hockey pucks. Enjoyed walking the dogs on the path behind the hotel on the edge of the golf course. Room wad clean, staff were friendly. Overall a good experience.

Location is great. Loved the set up of the room. It was fully equipped with everything necessary. Also loved the dinner and breakfast that was included.

The Residence Inn by Marriott Oxnard River Ridge is an excellent hotel. The rooms, housekeeping, the entire staff, food, and conference center are all excellent. I've stayed here at least once each uear during the past four years. Looking forward to next year's stay.

Week long stay to attend a conference. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Some rooms in need of some maintenance. Everything needed at the one location is hard to beat.

Original style of residence Inn but very comfortable. Staff are courteous, bk is great especially bk room has a view to a putting green. Crowded in the weekends.

Lots of different buildings. Even at 930pm there was plenty of parking, although a higher percentage of compact parking spots. The room seemed nice, having a full kitchen is a good feature.

Visiting father in law who is staying there frtim out of state first time I been there in a long time but rooms are just a beautiful as I could rem ember. He is older and we had got him a handicapped room. It was nicer than most studio apartments I have seen in town. Very very clean, nice king size bed, a place to sit in huge shower, full kitchen minus stove/oven they all have microwave only I believe. It's his first time staying there and he couldn't had been more pleased… top 2 hotel in Oxnard imo.

This Hotel is top notch it's quiet, clean and a nice place to stay. The breakfast is okay but, it's hot and very convenient when you have to leave in the early morning hours. The staff is professional, friendly too. All It needs is a restaurant / bar near by or on the same property, because it does feel resort like when you stay there. My family and I call it our second home, when we visit our relatives in Ventura County. Thank you to all there and will definitely recommend your Hotel to family and friends. Menifee CA.

I'm very disappointed in this hotel I will never stay here again. My brand new bedding sheets had semen stains all over them. I opened up one of the drawers and found a dead cockroach inside. Not to mention the staff was completely rude when I brought this to their attention. I would've been better off staying at a motel 6. The reason why I stayed at this hotel was to come to the cowboys training camp which was also a complete ripoff, so unorganized.

Clean, spacious rooms. Nice living room space and kitchenette. Well equipped for extended stays for business or families. The hotel grounds are huge — feels more like a condo complex than a hotel. Hot breakfast is quite good for a hotel. Evening happy hour and food (both free! ) on weeknights.

Staff is great, as is the room and breakfast. Forget about using the Wifi because it doesn't work at all, which is a necessity for me. The upstairs TV did not work… just like the last time I stayed at this location. Nothing impressive.

My family and I (mother and special needs son) stayed here for 3 years. The staff, ALL of them were nothing but helpful and courteous. In fact my son feels like they are family. We stayed in the penthouse, and other than moving rooms a lot the first year (remodeling) we have no complaints. In fact they revamped the breakfast area recently. We will miss the excellent hospitality.

The staff was so kind helpful and went out of their way to move lunch for 20 up a half hour. They were at attention on everything we needed. All the food was delicious, the display was attractive, everything was very clean and well arranged for the meetings and luncheon. I highly recommend this facility for your business needs.

Friendly staff and nice rooms make this a great place to stay. It's only about 15min from the beach and close to the freeway so you can get to you destinations easily.

Our stay at the Residence Inn in Oxnard was absolutely fantastic. It's right next to the golf course and tennis courts and only 10 min from the beach. There are plenty of local restaurants close by as well as several stores in case you need to go buy anything. The rooms are very spacious and include a kitchen with a full size fridge and dishes and pots and pans. It also has a stove top, but no oven. Rooms are all in separate buildings with eight rooms per building. I wouldn't really call them rooms though given their size. They're more like studio apartments. The only complaint that I would have is that it is one big room. We brought our one year old son with us who goes to bed at 7:00 and it would have been nice to put him in a separate room like we've done at embassy suites. However, we were able to put his pack n play in the vanity area and it worked well.

Always handy to have a place nearby when we need to stay with the cats. It's an extra $100 per stay for pets, but was helpful. Very clean and comfortable. My husband enjoyed the breakfast buffet.

We've stayed at Residence Inn Oxnard River Ridge 3 times and have never been disappointed. I LOVE this place! The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds and pillows are super comfortable. The employees are very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

The rooms are bigger than most normal Residence Inn rooms. The setup is pretty nice. The breakfast here is much better than at Camarillo Residence Inn. The dinner was lacking though (which Camarillo has a good one). The first night I stayed was basically cheese and crackers. However it's a good location near The Collection and lots of restaurants. The gym was small but had dumbbells and cardio machines. It's the old chalet style but well lit at night.

This is the most relaxing hotel I have been to. Shady trees, a fountain and sitting area outside of the breakfast room. Three swimming pools for privacy and convenience to your room. My go to place for serenity.

Very nice people, unlike others in this shameful city. The employees made me enjoy my stay.
