The hotel is attractive and the staff are friendly. Comfortable rooms with great beds and linens. The restaurant serves excellent food. However, if you're looking for any amenities like a sauna or pool (there is nothing) or if you want to have drinks in the lounge past 10, this is not the place to go. Everything closes down very early.

Excellent food, eggs benedict use model bakery English muffins! Simple amazing. Really great environment for breakfast. Amazing sunrise mimosas! Will come back.

We go to River Terrace Inn often because they have live music every Thursday-Sunday night. The music is inside during the cold months and outside when warmer. The outside patio has an amazing set up with fire pits, plenty of tables and benches, and warm lighting. The food is always great and the chef is very accommodating of dietary needs. He has made us some incredible vegan meals from scratch. The manager and staff treat us like royalty too. We love this place and highly recommend it to our friends.

Stayed here for 5 days with my wife for a getaway vacation and we will be staying elsewhere next time. The room was very underwhelming. The nights and mornings were very loud, the AC unit did whatever it felt like, and someone stole everything out of our car overnight! Also, a microwave would be nice to have.

Great hotel. The room was very nice (although had an interesting smell). The bed was comfortable and lead to us sleeping for 12 hours (so we missed out on some good wine tasting but for good reason). Would definitely stay there again.

Very nice with a view of the water. My room was clean with plenty of space.

We attended a vendors meeting with a wedding mockup. The location is beautiful with a river view. We received a tour of the rooms and I must say upgrade upgrade upgrade. It just gets better and better for little cost. The ceremony site was nice and the outdoor reception is very spacious. The indoor eucalyptus ballroom was gorgeously set up. Were very happy and can't wait to do a wedding there.

Lack of customer service. Walked in to check out the place for a possible wedding venue, no one really even bothered to acknowledge us. Small place for a wedding venue, nothing romantic. Pictures are deceiving.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The bar and restaurant inside is very good. The rear patio are is a nice touch, complete with fire pits. The boutique style of the small rooms is nice. Price all things considered was reasonable. Recommended.

Came to have breakfast eggs Benedict were great coffee was great. Service the best. I walked over from British motors was having my jaguar serviced Well worth the walk.

Wonderful stay. They think of everything. The room and staff are phonomenal. The hotel is very close to Downtown. Definitely recommend!

Great location and the rooms look good. We had an amazing view from the room. Location is about the only reason this place gets more than one star. They charge you for the use of everything, including shampoo and body wash, the bed is uncomfortable for any position thats not laying on your back, the pillows are terrible quality. All together probably had the worst sleep of my life. While their location is great, how much they charge for it is so not worth what you get. Genuinely regret staying at this place…

I was really impressed by this hotel. Very clean rooms, friendly service, conveniently located, and not crowded (Jan might be off season though? ) First time in Napa came in for a wedding but will definitely be back again and will most likely stay here.

The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean and well maintained although outdated and small. The only complaint that we had was being there for four days and only getting one hot shower. Hot showers are important when it’s 18 degrees outside. We were told this wasn’t a maintenance issue; their hot water heaters simply couldn’t keep up with the amount of guests they were accommodating. The location is very convenient but we’re not likely to book here again.

Service was excellent! Wish I could've stayed for longer. Within walking distance of downtown and a great view, bar area, and patio.

Great place. Room was very comfortable and quiet. Shower was pretty awesome, double shower head with great water pressure. Bar/restaurant had great food and drinks. Only knock was the men's bathroom. Should have been cleaner for this type of hotel.

My stay was excellent as always. Very close to downtown Napa, great breakfast and on the Napa River. Can't go wrong.

The rooms are very nice. Newly renovated with jacuzzi tub and fireplace. Comfortable bed and reasonably priced happy hour.

We had a wedding venue cancel on us last minute due to the fires this October and the folks at the River Terrace Inn stepped in and offered their space. They literally saved the wedding that had been months in planning and we will be forever grateful for their professional can-do attitude in accommodating the wedding and the wedding guests. Not only that, but the outdoor terrace is beautiful, the rooms are great and we will be staying here again in the future.

I would have gladly recommemded this place, if they had not placed fraudulent charges on my card. The room and the staff were fantastic. Fast forward to a month and a half later when I receive $60 worth of additional charges on my credit card. When I called to question why, the manager accused me of taking items from the mini bar, which is a complete lie. My husband and I made a concious effortnot to even go near the mini bar-everything on it was expensive. When I told the manager, Jennifer, that we brought in our own food and drinks, she said she would look into it and email me. After hearing nothing back, I called again a week later. She refuses to talk to me or call me back. This just proves their lack of integrity. I opened a dispute with my credit card company. Shady business going on here…

We had dinner and drinks on the patio while listening to live music by Doug Houser. The food was outstanding! The chef went off the menu to make us vegan meals that were awesome. Great wine selection. The patio is beautiful with nice lights and several fire pits. All in all a great experience. We will be back!

It has a spectacular view of the forest, to enjoy D a variety D Vamos D NAPA, and has a runner qua t take the mercadito. I recommend it as a favorite to stay in NAPA.

Loved the bikes they have on loan. The hotel is right next to the River side trail so it makes it easy to bike all over. Great location.

What makes a great hotel for me is the staff, and the staff at River Terrace are top notch! Very attentive and extremely personable. The views from the rooms are also amazing.

The only seating in the hotel lobby is technically in the restaurant… annoying. I really like hotel lobby's where you plug in sit and work and not have a waiter hovering over you. Also no complimentary Coffee in the lobby? What could this cost them a day? And how many return customers will it cost them? And coffee is not available until 7am and you have to pay for it? Really not following the strategy here.

The rooms are fantastic, if a little on the cozy side. We got a deluxe king whirlpool room with a balcony overlooking the river and it is enchanting. The Inn has a complimentary wine hour in the lobby from 4:30-5:30 with patio seating just outside. The staff have all been fabulously accommodating. The Inn is undergoing construction atm, but I can't wait to come back and see how it turns out.

Great experience and value! The restaurant was still under construction when we were there, but we never heard a single hammer. The staff provide a great Grab-and-Go breakfast which consisted of yogurts, pastries, cereal, juices, and coffee. This was the perfect breakfast to start our day and was very easy to access. The location is great as it is walking distance to Oxbow and other restaurants/ shopping. The outdoor area was perfect for drinking our wines and relaxing by the fire pits. Overall, we had an awesome experience and everyone was very nice. Would absolutely come back for another trip to Napa!

I'm positive next time we stay this will be 5 stars. Walking distance from downtown Napa and the staff were all really awesome. Free wine pours every night for an hour. They had a really awesome back patio to enjoy wine on. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is simply because the hotel is undergoing renovation and upgrades. Next time we stay I can almost guarantee this rating will be changed to 5 stars.

Good sized room with nice sitting area. Nice bathroom. Carpet was a little worn. Breakfast was good, but very expensive.

This is a pretty nice hotel. The room is a standard room you'll get for a decent hotel. The hotel has three floors and we stayed on the first floor. Room was clean and comfortable. One thing is the staff doesn't really greet you or say anything unless you approach them first. Once you talk to them they are accommodating and friendly though.

Great Inn! This is one of the rare inns where the rooms are actually clean! The service is excellent. Professional staff. Great location. Beds are very comfortable. The only change I recommend is that there be darkening drapes. The drapes were so thin I could see outside. So everyone could see us inside. Not good for a first floor room.

Its a great place to stay in downtown Napa. They have happy hour and the staff it's very welcoming. We loved the hotel, the location, the beds and jacuzzi. Definitely will recommend it!

We had a work meeting there, the place looked very nice, clean and the service was excellent.

Rooms were good. Hotel guests could be loud but good sound proofing. Beds were too soft for my liking.

We were only there a short time but great hotel, great service! The staff was very helpful in giving suggestions as to where to eat and which wineries to go to.

The rooms at the River Terrace Inn are clean, tidy and large. The hotel is located in downtown Napa and close to shopping but farther away from wineries. The hotel is on the less expensive side so location is sacrified.

Amazing room service… cozy rooms (we got top floor with riverside view which is ok in summers in winter it is chilli) overall good experience!

All aspects of our stay at River Terrace Inn exceeded our expectations. Our room was comfortable, clean and lovely. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, our favorites being Nicki and RJ Cezarina! We loved the food offerings, complimentary wine tasting happy hours, pool area, and proximity to walking paths/downtown area. Patio dining at The Pear for dinner and Oxbow Market for lunch was simply lovely, and the gelato at Frati was yummy! Our impromptu wine tasting (2 for 1 with a coupon! ) at the Napa General Store was so much fun with one of the few women sommeliers in Napa Valley… and their wines were exceptional. We will return!

I thought the rooms were great. Everything was working (I've had some bad experiences with other hotels with mini fridges and door locks). Beds were comfy. Bathroom was gorgeous (looked like they just remodel? Everything in the bathroom looked new. ) Good customer service. Their restaurant's brunch was 'meh' though. There are too many other good places to eat around Napa. I'd stay here again though.
