Anyone visiting the Valley for the first time should stop here first. We got great tips from people who clearly know the Valley.

Napa is very nice but the wineries are a but expensive and some don't let you open and enjoy a bottle once you buy it. I thought that was odd. Downtown is nice and really clean.

Room 225: This room was nasty. Dirty grout in the bathroom. Stained carpet. Furniture was chipped and actually peeling. Paint on the walls was touched up in a different color in places and dirty or marked in other places. The Jacuzzi tub is a regular size tub. (eyeroll) Toiletries were a bar of face soap and a bottle of lotion that didn't look new. When we called the front desk we were told that the gas to the fireplace was turned off because it is summer. (April 8 and cool outside) On the other hand the pool is "in" the parking lot and was dirty. When we called to complain about the sink not draining, we were told that "225 drains slow. " We asked to change rooms. We were told they had plenty of rooms when we checked in at 3PM but when we asked to change at 6PM, they were suddenly sold out. Christian and Gary were not only unhelpful but snobbish and inconsiderate. They had zero customer service skills. Neither of them attempted to be helpful or friendly. I walked out shaking my head in disbelief. This was a surprise birthday trip for my husband. "Sorry sweetie! "

Extremely helpful guides. They take all the time you need or wish for. In addition, they have reasonably priced Napa Valley brand merchandise.

The service was fine but the rooms were very packed together so that one could easily hear snoring in neighboring rooms and noises from movement or plumbing in upstairs rooms. The bathroom was quite nice though. The Inn is in a great place for a good price.

Cheap and cheerful motel. Small bed and not great covers, but it's fine really, about what you expect from a motel.

We were celebrating our anniversary and this could not have been a better choice to stay. The hotel is charming and beautiful, clean and nicely updated. Our room had an amazing spa tub.

This is a very adequate hotel. For a good price (and I assume you're paying a relatively low rate), you get a room, bed, and bathroom. If you want fancy amenities, then this is not the place for you. But if you want a (presumably) cheap room, friendly staff, ice and soda machines, middling Wi-Fi, a very old TV, and a noisy heater/AC unit, then this is the place for you. I realize that doesn't sound like an endorsement, but this is a basic hotel right in the heart of downtown so if all you need is a place to sleep, then stay here.

Perfect balance between homey bed and breakfast and a cosy hotel. Amazing service — staff are willing to help with everything you can think of. Walking distance to local restaurants. Would definitely recommend!

Very nice welcome center the persons in the office are extremely nice and welcoming. They offer the tons of advice and take all the time you need! Great way to learn about Napa!

Location is a short walk from Downtown Napa in a residential-type neighborhood. Breakfast is great. Staff is friendly.

They do a great job! On our trip through USA we had the best stay in Napa because of the excellent recommendation of the Tourist information team! They do a great job and had best tips and a perfect plan for our 3 days in the valley. Excellent area to calm down and enjoy life, wine and food :-)

Fantastic location. Walking distance to downtown spots. Hearty breakfasts engineered to stick with you during a day of wine tasting. Staff very helpful and professional.

A stunning hotel with historic charm but all of the current amenities and very well taken care of. Big enough to have some anonymity but small enough to feel like the staff was hosting you in their home. The breakfasts were delicious and included and the location is about a 10 minute walk from most of downtown Napa. If we return to Napa, this is where we'll stay. Highly recommend!
