They brought me a coffee machine for the room which was nice at 3:00 in the morning since I was working. The valet was extremely personal and a joy to have someone with a smile and care take care of your car.
Awesome staff, food and beverages. The atmosphere is great!
Very comfortable beds staff are very friendly and accommodating and spotless throughout a little expensive on the drinks side but that’s normal I guess but can’t failed the hotel.
Great experience! We loved it!
Not so good on customer service.
Beautiful hotel and super affordable! However be careful where you park because we parked inside the structure not knowing we couldn’t be there for a certain amount of time and almost got the car towed lol.
Parking lot they don’t tell you that is only valet parking to pay extra and in the room you don’t get a microwave.
Excellent. Service. Tropical. Pool. Hospitality.
I really did not like this hotel. I tried to love it but I just didn’t. The staff weren’t that nice, the rooms didn’t look that great, and staff even tried to steal my friends 6 year old daughter’s iPad. They only were able to find it (after staff said they didn’t have it) when someone on the staff left a storage room door open (that only the staff were allowed in). Then they made her PROVE it was their iPad even though they described the pink case that had wings on it because it was a butterfly case. Not a very common case. The lighting and walls in the rooms felt like you were walking through a run down hospital. The ONLY thing good about the hotel was the beds were kind of comfortable. I don’t recommend.
Absolutely horrible experience. I made a reservation for 11 nights on their parking lot. Which I paid for up front. When I arrived to the hotel, the staff was super rude and just told me to go away because they were full. No explanation was given, no apologies were heard. Just go away.
Great prices and 10mins from airport.
Beautiful place but they charge extra for everything.
This hotel does not offer any type of good customer service in my opinion. I have a reservation that’s fully paid for except for the $50 security deposit. Upon entering the hotel I explained to the manager that the airline lost my checked bag with my check book in it,
which has the card I booked with in it. However here is my drivers license I can show you my credit card with the same numbers on my app. If that’s not good enough I’ll give you a $200-$500 cash security deposit. I mean it’s 1:30 am I fly out back out at 7 am.
His response is sorry can’t check you I’m not gonna give you a refund. I ask him to call a manager because I’m sure if you explain the situation he will probably make it work. His Word’s verbatim… nope come back tomorrow. Didn’t I just tell you I fly out at 7am. And they have the nerve to charge me $35 for valet parking. Where has the customer service gone. From now on I’ll stick with my diamond status at Hilton Honors. Custom Hotel.

My 3 night stay was very frustrating for my first LA experiment. Waited 3 hours for the shuttle. No hot water on the first night. Blood stain on one of the pillows. Heat did not work, room was freezing all 3 nights. Unfortunate construction in the room right beside me, was unaware. Pool closed. Key card failed twice. Ice machine on 5th floor did not work. Weather stripping on door fell off while I was not there and left dangling. Bed was very comfortable and room was well decorated and nice. Just a poor experience… thank you for listening!
edit. They didnt listen, I got zero response.
A nice surprise from the hectic flight issues we had yesterday. Too bad our flight is so early … we didn't get a chance to have breakfast here.
Has always been a nice place to stay.
Rooms are so basic they don’t even have real furniture. Smells musty.
This crazy cool hotel was great! We were traveling with our 4 daughters and the room was spacious and beautifully accommodating. We were impressed by the feel and décor; a super hit for our 14-22 year olds. The heated pool and warm bonfire made interacting with other families easy and fun. We’ll definitely be returning in the near future.
This is a very good hotel to stay for connecting flight.
Free pick up shuttle was just a call away and the can came in 6 mins, for returning back to LAX, just follow time table.
Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Coffee and shower items are all ready there for use. In addition, a spectacular LAX view from my room on 11th floor was just amazing, as I am an aeroplane enthusiasm, the room was just perfect!
Around the hotel there are fast food and gorcery store, so no need… to go anywhere and stay in the hotel for connecting flight is already very good.
Overall, Highly recommend this hotel.
Great place if looking a a simple, clean room. Reasonable prices.
Bedbugs*
Booked a room from Thursday through Sunday. Front desk all the way through to the valet provided wonderful customer service! Can't say enough great things about the niceness of the staff. Room was clean… window opened to let in fresh air.
Only horrible part is BEDBUGS in room 814. There is clearly an infestation of BEDBUGS. There are multiple bites all over my body, as well as my traveling partner. This is problematic and dangerous.
I really liked it here. It was very clean and friendly, amazing views. I had a view of the LAX runway and it was really beautiful. Lots of places around the hotel to grab a bite to eat at. Although if it's your first time around the city, there's a possibility that your card will be declined, it's okay, you just gotta make sure that your card isn't lock, if it is you can simply call the bank and have them unlock it and it'll be okay.
Nice casual environment, front staff were nice, but I left my priceless ring given to me by my father in their room. I called when I arrived at the airport to tell them, they confirmed they had found it and would mail it to my house. This unfortunately never happened and I was heart broken. I called to find out and no one knew what I was talking about. Unfortunately I don't live in LA so u can't follow up in person, but I'm very upset. This is good, nice pool and bar area for a younger crowd, they have value service and rental car service right on site, and the location was close to everything. Bed was terrible and uncomfortable, otherwise the room had a very different look, but I actually liked it. I would love to hear from the Custom hotel in regards to my ring.
The hotel is a one-night stand.
Around the corner is a great supermarket.
No self parking option, have to valet for 35$ a night. Otherwise everything is great. Nice pool, good customer service, room is clean. The weights room is a bit lacking if you want a proper gym workout, however it would do for most people. There is also an LA fitness right next door.
Horrible hotel. I’ve stayed at stark hotels but this one takes the cake. Plus there’s a funky mood light contraption on the window where you can change light color, make it blink, alternate colors. Who has that? Every Sat they host a huge party in the pool/restaurant area where girls pole dance, couples are grinding and doing other inappropriate things and the music/bass are so loud you can’t get away from it. It appears few to none in attendance are hotel guests. Made me feel like we were staying in the red light district. Definitely NOT kid friendly.
This hotel is not the greatest. Rooms so so but clean and bed was comfortable and water pressure on shower was super. Public restrooms were nasty and hallway on my floor smelled like urine! But overall it's a good buy given area and price. It's kinda noisy with a younger clientele so be warned. Customer service was fantastic though. Everyone very nice and accommodating. They did have outdoor bar at pool with happy hour and DJ which is cool. Drinks and apps were good. And they do have free shuttle service to and from airport.
Service without a smile. Breakfast but not complimentary (14 or 15 dollars if I remember correctly? ). Water system has air in it or something. When I turn on the faucet, it would just start spurting out dirty water. Had to let it run for about a minute before it would be usable. Thermostat wouldn't work unless you pressed the button really really hard (maintenance had to come and show me cause I thought it was broken). On the plus side, everything was clean and comfortable. There is a pool. Overall, I wouldn't say I had the best experience there.
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my worst enemy, their website is completely misleading. They charge extra for everything possible from 3$ for cheap water in the room to $35 to park your car (no option to park anywhere else) plus the hallways smell like baby powder the employees are great but that’s all this place has going for it.
Very decent place to stay. Very helpful and kind staff. Allowed us to check in a bit earlier. We were exhausted so it was very kind of them. Nice delicious breakfast too.
Minimalist hotel. Comfy bed, everything was clean. My only complaint is 35$ a night for parking. Everywhere charges, I just think it's a bit steep. All in all, we'd stay again.
Hotel dating a little…
And we are well in California, the use of cannabis ' ' therapeutic ' ' is allowed and this leaves a small odor in the corridor of the 5th floor…
Attention to the price of the small bottle of water, 4 small bottles of 25cl left prominently at $3 room, there is still a small sign informing us of the price.
We will not return to this hotel.
If you enjoy breathing in stale cigarette smoke all night then this is the place for you. What a disappointment! Custom Hotel is no boutique and definitely not even close to any 3.5 Star hotel I’ve stayed in before. The elevators and hallways smelled awful, but our room took the cake. Not to mention the exposed electrical outlet in our room, the mold growth in the bathroom, and the overall uncleanliness of the place. The bed was somewhat clean, but the towels… I gagged upon touching them. The smell was unfathomable. It may be time for staff to stop smoking ‘who knows what’ on the job. One would think that management should step in and work towards some changes at bettering their ‘boutique hotel’. From someone who ignored previous bad reviews, please learn from my mistake.
This hotel is decent for a one night stay, literally if you only need a place to shower and sleep. The front desk agents need to take a class on hospitality and customer service. They are the reason I won’t be returning.
I am perfectly satisfied with my stay here. Facilities are very basic, but it served its purpose perfectly for me. I was just staying overnight due to a long layover at LAX. Check in and out was super quick and easy. Price was just a little below most of the other airport hotels. Wireless internet worked fine. Doubling the frequency of the airport shuttle would be nice, but would really just be an extra luxury. A maximum wait of 45 min is not too bad and the drivers were good.
Very cool hotel. Room came with a TV, alarm clock, a desk, and a bed. The room also has several hangers a shelf and a safe. The free breakfast I got with my stay had a very good buffet with French toast scrambled eggs sausage bacon several different pastries cereal coffee and juice. My room on the 9th floor had a beautiful view of the beach and planes taking off from LAX.
A hip facade. That's about it. The hotel is a shabby. They need to clean up the elevators because they look worn and dirty. If you want a comfortable bed, look elsewhere. The bed is low to the ground, so it is not good for older people, or people that do not like a futon sleeping experience. I got this hotel only because it was close by and late. This is typically the type of hotel young people go after partying to hook up. It was cheap, but you can find a much better value if you just search some more. The room is pretty bare, but it has a TV. The location is close to Starbucks and a grocery store. Overall it is not as hip as it pretends to be. Go to a Hilton or Marriott and you will know the difference between a consistently good hotel and hype.
Excellent attention. Not the best location in Los Angeles but I had a downside with my reservation on taking off and I got it fixed immediately.
Only good for night before a flight. Clean enough but overpriced for what it is. Cheap makeover but you can tell it was a quick facelift and they cut a lot of corners. Service just barely acceptable. At least they have a free airport shuttle with a nice driver.
Very bad and depressing.
The staff at night very rude and with very poor attention. They do not respect the reservation what you do and do not solve anything. They even told me it wasn't their problem.
They do not have parking and valet parking is very expensive (35 dollars per night). They use as a hook a price not so high per room but is increased by the use of valet parking.
You use it because of the proximity to the airport but there are much better ones.
Clean beds, price performance fits.
This was a good hotel for the price. Our room was clean and the airport shuttle was really convenient. I liked that there is a Ralphs (grocery store) right next door and there are a number of restaurants within walking distance. The staff was cheery and helpful. My biggest complaints are that the door seal to our room wasn't the best so we could hear people in the hallway more than you would expect and that the breakfast which cost $14 was a pretty standard continental breakfast that would be free at a Holiday Inn Express or Ramada in most parts of the US. Overall, I would stay here again.
For a hotel in Los Angeles, wasn't as good as I expected. I love the person who helped me check out. Really cool dude.
Good hotel for a night stay. Simple looking, very contemporary style. Decent, clean enough but don't expect to be Wow or High class. "It's just simple, plain" good for the price. Hotel does NOT have a parking lot, you either pay for Valet, Uber there or have to find parking outside the neighborhood.
The absolute worst hotel ever. A person could do better by staying at a Best Western Plus, which is a fabulous place for far less money. The staff is great but it's the website and reservations that is deceiving. There was no mention of the daily $35 parking fee. They lead you to believe the rooms are fresh & modern, all lies. The bed is practically on the floor. While in the shower I looked up and noticed a filthy vent.
Very great price for the size and stay at this particular hotel. I will say they can up their room service, but there's not much of a complaint there honestly. I'd recommend you could stay here if you're looking for a quick get away for 2 or just yourself. Amazing staff by the way!
I was here for a company holiday party. They have a nice speak easy bar and some good music for the night. I have also been here for other company events at their pool side lounge area. That area was really nice as well and was a great selection to host our event. Its a place I would recommend checking out.
El personal de recepción durante el turno de la noche es grocero,
No tuve servicio de limpieza, botellas de agua a $3.00, las camas muy incomodas, no hay estacionamiento, el elevador es tan viejo y ruidoso no pudimos dormir.
The reception staff during the night shift is crispy.
I did not have cleaning service, bottles of water at $ 3.00, very uncomfortable beds, no parking, the elevator is so old and noisy we could not sleep.
Tried modern furnishings in the years come hotel. With a very low bed.
Place is clean. Bathrooms occupy a little maintenance. Beds are low but comfortable. Breakfast is not free haha. You can park in the street to not pay the Valet. Some of the Valet gentlemen were a bit rude and wanted to pay them but I better park out of the place. They offer breakfast too but charge separately for this.
The whole hotel has been in the years. Unfriendly staff. Room dirty and very uncomfortable.
We made a reservation for a queen size bed room to stay on Christmas day for one night since we were celebrating with family. We arrived around 9pm (and did call to say we would arrive late. ) Instead we were given a room with a double bed. So disappointing. We were tired and did not feel like going thru the motions of changing our room. On top of all that we had to call for blankets because the heat in the whole hotel was not working! Never going there again, it was so horrible. The bed frames are so low to the floor we had a hard time getting in and out of bed. Just a weird place to stay… They say they are changing ownership and fixing it up, whatever!
Place is clean. Bathrooms occupy a little maintenance. Beds are low but comfortable. Breakfast is not free haha.
Service is fantastic and lobby looks well decorated. But once you get on the elevator, you could see the age of the hotel. The hotel room looks like a starter college apartment, that can use a refreshed touch. Shower drain was slow to drain. Bed frame is way too low. Saw a cockroach in the cabinet above the coffeemaker and mini fridge. Ugh.
Crappy hotel even for the price. First room smelled nasty as soon as I opened the door. Smelled like marijuana and who knows what else very strongly. Immediately called and asked for a different room. Second room doesn't smell as bad but still not pleasant. Looks way way better in pictures. Pretty sure they bought a nasty old hotel slapped a coat of paint on it and put cheap mattresses in the room. I have stayed at nicer Motel 6's. Definitely would not stay here again.
It was extremely convenient. Drop off keys and wait for shuttle to airport. On the return we texted once we were ready for pick up and they were extremely quick and efficient. They helped moving the luggage in and out of shuttle and your car. I will definitely use them again. The drivers were friendly and understand sense of urgency.
Not good because the air conditioner has it at 75 degrees and you can't get it down separately they charge you apart the parking lot you don't get water and if you put it on but three dollars the bottle the bathroom is not OK and everything is very reduced the bed is like lying on the Ground too low total that I don't recommend it.
I started in a 2 bedroom suite. It was literally like 2 individual rooms turned into a suite. The staff was so friendly, I can't give this place less than 5 stars. Shuttle was quick to pick up at LAX.
The rating should be less than 1 star, it should be as negative as possible! i did their parking/shuttle for lax there. DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT believe their ad that says they have shuttles running every 15 minutes and you can get a custom pickup at the airport so you don't have to wait. Because I found out after they took my car that shuttles DO NOT run every 15 minutes as stated (it took over an hour each way!?!?! ). Because the shuttle does not run as they say and despite my repeated requests to get me to the airport they caused me to MISS MY FLIGHT! Which caused me to miss my first meeting and lose my room at an already full hotel and miss picking up my rental car. They may advertise cheap parking and there is a good reason for that! It's because they LIE in their ads and you'll end up spending a lot of extra money because they cause a bad chain of events. beware!
Friendly staff, free bus to the airport. Expensive parking fee but as they have already reported to the right of the supermarket there is an area where you park in peace and s without paying. Clean and large rooms.
It's a great hotel for a drunk 21 year old who has never stay in a hotel. Rooms are very small with a small bedroom window. When we got in late night, our heater didn't work. Good Italian restaurant across the street though. Beds are uncomfortable, but the pillows have to be the worst part of our stay. Couldn't take a shower in the morning because the water wouldn't drain. Just wanted to get out!

Nothing special. Room was ok, large but a bit musty (weird smell). Prices at the bar were reasonable, but everything definitely needs a paint job. Parking (valet) is fast, but way too expansive.
Great location, large and clean rooms, free shuttle to airport.
Airport shuttle, price, and friendly service is a plus here but the building and room seemed a bit run down. Our room didn't smell or feel clean. Not sure what theme they are going with either. Cosmic bowling maybe. Would stay here again but only because it's close to the airport and cheap and only if its for one night.
We used the park and fly service at the Custom Hotel and it was very easy to use! We booked online. The hotel is conveniently close to LAX too so it was the perfect spot to leave our car. There are shuttle rides to the airport every 45 min, valet service and very friendly and helpful staff.
This place definitely has great service! A friend of mine stayed here over New Year's weekend since we were going to watch the Clippers game. Very convenient for those that don't want to drive as you can walk pretty much anywhere you need to! We walked across the street to Staples & drinks at Lucky Strike for some fun. We also were able to go to Ralph's which is just the next 2 blocks over and if you want to visit The Broad, it's a bit of a walk but it went by rather quickly since downtown isn't THAT big. Room service was extremely polite and I'm not sure about the women's restrooms but my friend said that the men's restroom in the lobby had TV's above each urinal! LOT.
Clean room, great location to get anywhere in Los Angeles.
If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. Com Booked a room on there and they had the cheapest rates around… We got in pretty late after a flight, the first room we were booked seemed slept in but front desk rectified things pretty quickly and seemingly upgraded. The bed and sheets were really comfortable. This place is weirdly upscale in some cases and not in others. For a semi cheaper place close to LAX to stay it worked for my wife and I. Free shuttle to the airport was really helpful clean and spacious.
Maybe I find myself writing the review a little late reading the previous… I was there a few years ago: The hotel is not far from the airport but a little out of respect the purely tourist areas.
But by itself it was a very nice hotel with well kept and clean rooms.
Let's start with the important things.
As soon as you arrive you will notice that to leave the car you have to turn to valet. Price $35 per night. Avoid quietly.
Exactly exiting the parking lot to the right, you will find a residential area quiet among other things * school zone * Where you can leave the vehicle without problems.
That said, I had a room on the eleventh floor. Clean, bright, nothing to say. I really don't understand how people are complaining about the bathroom door that has no lock. Good heavens, who do you have to close to your own room?
Internet is included, Wi-Fi comes everywhere.
Local calls are included.
Dirty room, expensive breakfast for what it was. Dated interior. Lamps broken and fixed with tape. Really loud when the neighbour took a shower, and that's not fun 4 in the morning… Only good thing I would say about the hotel was the staff.
This hotel is by far the WORST place I've ever stayed in. I've even stayed in some of the most ghetto hotels in Detroit to Europe to Africa, and also some of the finest in the world whether in Dubai or Singapore. This hotel is NO 3.5 stars but 2! Bed is practically lying on the floors carpet. Very dusty and dirty floors. Out of the three towels given, one wasn't stained and the other two had black and beige colored foundation makeup stains. They don't bother replacing them from customer to customer. Also, nothing and no one to assist you with luggage, not even a luggage cart. Employees don't care what room you demand or bed type. Not only that but they charge you close to $30 for valet parking when nobody is there to park your car or take it from you. Please pay extra and lodge elsewhere, don't bother taking this route. Place is dirtier and closer to a motel than any hotel. I will try to do a chargeback for the $ 185.00 I paid for this dump! It's misadvertised. I have plenty of photos to prove this place would barely even make two stars! Run by crooks!
Needed aast minute place to stay by LAX. Got a cheap deal so not much to complain, but also nothing to praise. Basic design in rooms with a comfortable bed.
Yuck. Filthy, sleazy, terrible place. A trashy motel with pretentions toward uptown swank. The result is just… wrong. At first glance the place looks fancy, but everywhere you look the molding is ripped off and the ceiling is flaking, there are mysterious smudges on the walls, ect. The pool is more like a cesspool than something safe to swim in. The flashy decor clashes with the pervasive air of decay in a way that's almost surreal. It's like something out of a David Lynch feaver dream. Any attempt at simple decency (cleanliness, functionality) falls by the way side. I have never been in a place with less integrity. Feels like a place for drug-dealers. Second rate, low class, no taste drug dealers. A good place to bring a cheap escort.
The room was nice but the bathroom didn't have a lock. Not the biggest deal but we had 5 people constantly going in and out of the room and it was frustrating having people accidentally walk in/out the bathroom. The staff was super friendly. There wasn't any real food nearby in walking distance except for a grocery store but we made do. Overall, I would recommend custom hotel to a friend.
Overpriced hotel (we paid $120+$30 parking per night) for the boutique "experience, " which was a tiny room, rude front desk clerk, long lines, coffee bar in room missing cups, and bed on floor with dirty linens. You can get the same hotel for a lot cheaper elsewhere minus the silly spa music and complementary reception desk lemon water.
I booked this hotel on Hotwire and was told it was a 3.5 star hotel comparable to a Hilton or embassy suites. A couple of other reviewers summed it up pretty accurately… I was catfished! This is no where close to being a 3.5 star hotel and was only a small step up from a hostel. Absolutely ridiculous that the beds are on a wooden frame on the floor, the bathroom door didn't close oh and not to mention the stench of pot all over the 5th floor that we stayed on. When we complained to the front desk they said it was a non smoking hotel. Stay there was just awful and in fact we left a day early and went somewhere else. Can not stress enough how bad this place was!
I've stayed here several times because the price is very competitive for the area, but my review is accurately middling. This hotel is in no way deserving of the Joie de Vivre brand, it's a misfit. The decor is industrial, dark, dingy. The amenities are nil. The service is adequate, but slow. The price is fair, that's pretty much all I can credit it for. Compared to the JdV properties in NorCal it's a deep disappointment. I have yet to patronize the bar, which may be fantastic, but I'm not inclined to drink or dine here based on the service experience I've had as a hotel guest… There are too many great f&b options in the area to chance a bad experience on property. Sorry to say, I'd rather stay at the Jamaica Bay, Ritz, even the Marriott, if the room rates are anywhere within the same sphere when I'm in LA/MdR on business or pleasure… this place kinda creeps me out.
Very nice was the hotel and very attentive service.
I stayed here for one sleepless and disappointing night. The beds are laid almost directly on the floor, with the frame resting upon the carpet. I was skeptical at first, but then I was horrified to wake up with a huge, itchy bug bite on my arm. I continued to wake with additional itchy bites all over my body. I went to reception at 4am to explain to them what was happening, and they treated me as though I was lying and told me to “provide evidence” for them. They wanted me to dig around in their mattress for them to find evidence of bugs for them! I was flabbergasted at how they treated me as a customer. I was returning from a work trip, so I wasn’t even looking for compensation of any kind, but he acted as though I was making it up. All I wanted for a little kindness, compassion, and understanding, and maybe a “thank you for letting us know! We’ll look into it. ” The night manager eventually offered me to stay in another room, but I just stayed in my friend’s bed since I had to pack within the hour. Also, they operator told me the day before that I would only have to give the airport shuttle 15 minutes notice if I wanted to get a ride, which wasn't true. There is a shuttle schedule, so I had to wait for 45 minutes in the lobby. All-around terrible customer service and awful treatment. Conveniently close to the airport, but not worth the stay and doing all my laundry when I got home to prevent bugs from getting in my house.
Friendly staff, nice accommodations and decent price. Second stay and both have been good experiences. Deck 33 restaurant next door serves up good food and drink. Coffee bar in hotel lobby is convenient. Only gripe is time out took for hotel shuttle to arrive at airport (35 minutes). Nice to have Ralph's next door for quick grocery/convenience store needs.
The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean. The location is pretty convenient and it doesn't take long to uber anywhere. It's a very basic hotel which is fine if you just need a place to call home for a few days. The buffet in the lobby is great for breakfast too when you have an early morning ahead of you. I had a few problems with my key card where it stopped working. I went back and forth from the front counter about 4 times getting new cars before they finally sent someone to take a look. The battery in the door lock was dying and after they replaced it it worked just fine. That's about my only complaint and I'm sure it's just a one off issue that doesnt happen much. Would stay again.
Can't say anything about the rooms but the bar was a disaster. 4 of 5 drinks ordered were wrong. One friend got a bill for $0.06 another for $75. Rampant incompetence.
I regret making a reservation here after first being checked into a filthy room, and secondly being moved to a second room in which we were locked out of for two and a half hours due to malfunctioning key cards. The hotel staff was under the impression that we were maliciously altering the key cards. It being 2:30 a. M. In the morning and the last thing we wanted was to be locked out of our room. The hotel staff was not helpful in any bit we had to rely on a security guard and a janitor to gain entry back into our room. Just an added verification that the staff should have picked up on and realized we were not causing the issue is when the security guards master key card could not open the door, it's pretty clear the lock is malfunctioning. They had to revert to using a physical master key and manually unlock the door. During this ordeal every time we went back to the front desk we were treated so rudely. As if my idea of a good time is spent trying to trick hotel staff into actually letting me into my room so I can sleep. I honestly have never been treated so rudely by any staff that I think I was in shock at the way we are being treated. on check out in the morning I was expecting to have some sort of apology and or compensation and there was none to be had. As the desk manager stated that his staff alerted him to the situation and that we were affecting the key card somehow.
This hotel is probably good if it is a matter of spending a night by landing or leaving at the airport. Aside from that I would not recommend staying there any longer: the hotel is far away from all the tourist spots, and the parking costs $29 per day.
Regarding the equipment of the room, the fridge was struggling to make cold, the bathtub did not drain fast enough during the shower, there was no microwave, no latch on the door of the bathroom, no chair or table, and the beds were relatively small.
Positive Point nonetheless: the free shuttle system that puts us at the airport right in front of the terminal (remember to book on the other hand).
The rooms are very original and comfortable.
Too bad the restaurant and breakfast are not up to par, but the whole thing is OK compared to the price.
Finally quite well located (close to the airport and a few minutes from the beaches of Santa Monica and Venice.
Fantastic hotel with very good services, retailers, friendly service and a very nice place.

RespondGreat hotel to spend the night. Events throughout the week. Serious rooms. Too bad it's so close to the airport. But it's not too embarrassing.
