Came here for dinner with some visiting relatives. Very clean and classy. Definitely a luxury hotel. Had sushi and the view was great! Parking is valet only but was not too expensive with 2-hour validation. Would definitely come again if I happened to have a chance to.

It might sound like I’m over exaggerating my experience here but believe me I’m not. I checked in here with 3 other guests for a 5 day stay and everyday was far below a 5 Star standard for a hotel. From day one we were treated like sub class citizens who didn’t deserve to stay here. Every time we would return to the hotel at night the security would stare us down and make us feel like criminals. On checkin alone my friends were being hovered over and practically pushed into a corner by a security guard. The front desk, bellhop, room service, etc all treated us like we weren’t worth their time. This is all after spending $2000 at this hotel. To top it all off they didn’t even service our room one day even after leaving the service light on from 5 in the morning until 3 am the next day. I have never been to even a 3 Star hotel and been treated like this. Heck even some motel 6s have treated me better than this. It was honestly disgusting. All of this being said I always try to find something good in a place and there is something. The property itself and the food they make is very nice. The views of downtown and to rooms look very good. That being said it could not make up for the way we were treated and as a result I can’t recommend anyone ever patron this place unless you wear a $20, 000 dollar outfit and throw money at all the employees. I honestly don’t even know if that will be enough to be treated right here but feel free to try it out.

Excellent hotel; only a year old and it shows. The facilities are beautiful. We did find the hotel fixtures (bathtub, sinks, toilets, etc) so so and I'll be curious to see what they look like in a couple years. With that said, our room was beautiful. A nice corner unit with a nice view of downtown LA. I will say that my one complaint was that the chair in the room was pretty nasty (see photo). A good cleaning is needed and a dirty desk chair may indicate a larger cleanliness issue. The gym at the hotel (7th floor) is excellent, as is the No Dive Pool Bar on the same floor. At check out we received great service from the first floor concierge. All in all, a very good experience. If we have to come back to LA (hope not), we will definitely stay here.

Very comfortable stay at the InterContinental. We had a superior room which had a great bed, nice chaise and small table which we used to have breakfast. Bathroom was nice and roomy with separate toilet/bath. Lobby bar is a good spot for a drink and a snack. Art and overall theme has a great LA feel. Spire 73 is a good spot for a night cap.

Came here to visit Spire 73. The ambiance is wonderful and good thing the weather was amazing. Granted we didn't have to wait long since it was a Monday night. I would definitely say visit it once then you be the judge of whether or not you'd like to go back because 20 bucks for a cocktail is pretty bananas. Don't get me wrong they were good but I don't think $20 good. The beer however is reasonably priced at about 8 or 9 bucks for a pint.

Beautiful hotel! Didn't actually stay here but was here for a conference and it was immaculate. Heard great things about the rooms and how modern it is. I'd I were planning in staying in downtown ever this would definitely be in the top 3.

This is a fantastic hotel. Centrally located, modern and clean rooms. We particularly enjoyed the awesome views from our room as well as the lobby, inexplicably situated on the 73rd floor, above our room. It's a popular hotel for events like weddings, so watch out for a busy entrance and a slight wait for valet.

Superb rooftop bar. Great cocktails. Breath taking view.

We had a wonderful 5 days stay. Convenient central location. Subways and buses nearby so we went everywhere even Disneyland. Very nice staff are ever so helpful. Too cold to use the outside pool.

Went to Spire 73 for drinks. The view is amazing. Make sure to take a jacket because it gets really windy up there. Drinks are good they range around 15-20 a glass. I love their Truffle fries. The only thing that I hated is the service. Maybe it's because they don't have enough staff or the waitresses needs to be better trained because service is so slow. I had to ask for my table to be clean by 3 different waitresses. Getting their attention is difficult too. Hopefully it improves because it's a cure hangout spot.

Terrific rooms. Best free view of the city. Does is a great sushi spot for a quick lunch (conveyor style). They also have a delicious lunch buffet. Go see the rooftop bar for terrific happy hours with breathtaking views.

I have stayed here two times already and it is absolutely phenomenal! The staff is so nice and accommodating. Jerrell is the best! He works in the front dealing with cars and taxis. He remember my group from last time and he is always joy to talk to. Decadence, the breakfast buffet, is delicious. Our recent waiter Steven was super nice. The staff in the gym was also super nice and Princeton was even able to meet us for a morning work out. I highly recommend staying here! Love the location!

Very chic, modern design hotel with a mega view of La from the lobby from the 70ten floor. Only the use and the constant change of the elevators to get to his floor is annoying and not thought through. Nevertheless a very high quality hotel with attention to detail.

InterContinental was one of the best hotels I have stayed at. It is incredibly modern and classy, and the staff is beyond friendly. The hotel is centrally adjacent to a mall and several restaurants. The rooms are comfortable and completely controlled by a smart system with a touchscreen controller by the bed and switches throughout the room. The bathroom is spacious, complete with both a walk-in shower and large bath. I absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in downtown LA.

The Bista is great and the room is very spacious.

A great hotel for business travelers, with great views from the panoramic Windows, clean rooms and good service. For tourists, probably not the best choice because of not the best location.

The place is elegant and the service of the best the spectacular views.

Went to the 73rd floor for the grand opening of the rooftop bar. Amazing people and amazing views. Will definitely bring the kids next time. Great place for a date and taking pictures. Bar tenders split or bill without hassle. Which is rare these days. Peace ☮️ and cheers.

Nice hotel, great view, desolate area.

One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in, but slightly confusing to get around, even though the elevators were always fast. Pool was hard to find and hot tub wasn't hot enough. But according to my Samsung fit watch, I had the best night's sleep of my life, so that's something! Their beds are really comfortable, and even though our room was right by the elevator, it was more like white noise instead of being bothersome. The lighting is a bit temperamental with it going off for no reason several times even though our key card was in the slot and Bender moved. The bathrooms are gorgeous with awesome lighting. I'd stay there again.

It is a very elegant place, and they have a bar with very good alcoholic beverages. But my favorite thing about being there were the breathtaking views from the 70 floor. I've never seen a more impressive view of the angels in my life. I plan to return very soon.

Brand new Modern Hotel! Great views from the rooms over the huge Los Angeles. Great rooms and good beds, stylish rooftop bar, super modern fitness. The only thing you need to get used to is that you always have to go up to the 70 floor and then go back down with another elevator to come to his room. But I can live with it.

Ogar my pretty and the attitude of the Jente working there were Mara villa. I would like to return soon.

I recently stayed at the hotel for a weekend birthday party celebration. The hotel was beautiful! The entire staff were friendly, attentive, and very professional! I felt very secure. The breakfast buffet and rooftop bar were amazing! I highly recommend staying at the new Intercontinental Hotel downtown LA. Hopefully on my next visit the spa and gym will be finished. Enjoyed my stay!

Overall a really great Hotel. It's still a five star hotel at a four-star price. The elevators are a little weird since it's one of the tallest buildings. The pool is pretty nice and so is a hot tub which is located on the 7th floor. Per downtown LA the parking is super expensive. Service has been pretty good and definitely going to come back as part of the ambassador program which I would recommend.

Beautiful hotel and brand new. Very friendly staff and great views. Logistically, a little challenging. Lobby is in the 70th floor and you have to go there to gain access to other floors. Also there is no directory and not a lot of info available while you're at the hotel to find your way around, but staff is very helpful if you ask. Rooftop bar and lobby lounge bar are great spots to have a drink and watch the sunset.

OK this is a really cool hotel. Rooms are fantastic. Only thing I didn't like is there is not fridge. Beds great. Bathrooms great. Views, great. Woke up above the clouds one morning.

I only went to the bar. The bar (spire 73) was gorgeous… beautiful… the view is amazing… I love that they offer you blankets if you get cold… I just wish the music was a tad bit louder and more lively.

Love this hotel. As the current tallest building west of the Mississippi, the view is unparalleled. The rooftop bar has great food and drinks! The decor of the hotel is stunning. Our room had an amazing bed, beautiful bathroom, and bedside controls for lighting. Can't recommend highly enough.

We stayed 3 days and 2 nights. This is a beautiful hotel and the tallest building this side of the Mississippi. Wonderful staff of friendly and courteous people. Awesome service. Best location. Plenty of nightlife in and around the Financial District. Conveniently across the street from a metro subway station.

Great hotel. Awesome view. Prompt service at the pool. There are different sets of elevators and they each have access to different floors. If the access panel does not allow you on certain floor, try the next set.

Loved the simple and tasteful room and beautiful grounds. Elevator system is confusing to decipher, and staff are still learning the ropes. Comfortable and clean atmosphere. Pool area is fabulous; experience it's cafe's coconut sorbet. Visit Spire 73, but do anticipate a long wait or possibly no entry if you go after 9 pm. Can't wait to return!

Barely being built but it really looks amazing.
