My stay at this hotel was delightful. When I arrived, the front desk attendent, Davion Mercadal, was very attentive, welcoming, and kind. The following day when I went to check out, the front desk attendent, did not catch their name, was also very polite and profesional.

The adjoining room woke us up before 5 AM with loud banging noises. No one answered the front desk phone until a little after 7. I was told someone would come speak to them but I don't know if that happened as it is now an hour after I spoke with the front desk and the banging is still happening.

Typical Hampton inn. Good room, comfy bed, hot breakfast. This one is in the midst of a business park, but walking distance from several fast food places. For finer dining, you'll have to drive.

We stayed here for one night on our way from SF airport to Lake Tahoe. It was almost exactly halfway, so a nice stop for us. The hotel was very comfortable. The rooms were clean, bathrooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable. There was water, tea and coffee available 24X7 in the lobby, which was definitely appreciated. The breakfast buffet had a decent spread. We were also able to spare a half hour to enjoy their outdoor pool and hot tub. All in all, a very comfortable and convenient stay!

The room wasn’t what I expected for the price. There was no mini fridge nor microwave. The pool was very dirty and we were swimming with water bugs amongst other things. The hot tub was out of order even though we were assured that it was a part of the amenities to enjoy. Most staff was nice and room clean. When I tried talking to a staff at front desk about issues she was very cold and assured me that things would be taken care of after the fact, I was leaving… she didn’t offer an apology or discount. The best part of the stay was the breakfast. Best I’ve had compares to any other hotel.

One of our pillow cases was dirty. It looked like someone had gotten sick on the floor and it didn't get totally cleaned up. The bathroom needed a deep cleaning. The air conditioner made so much noise it was hard to get to sleep.

What a fricking joke! We have to spent $181.54 a night for this dump place only to find out there is no fridge in our room. In their flyer says to Ask for more. Just give us the basic — a fridge in the room. And they put the banner of Hilton Honor, and I suggest to add Dis-honor instead. I stayed one time and this going to be last time, never again would I shell out almost $200 and NO FRIDGE!

We have stayed at many Hampton Inns — this one is very similar to most. The neighborhood is very nice — Elk Grove appears to be a modern upper-middle class suburb of Sacramento. The hotel is just a block off of I-5 but no noticable noise comes from the freeway. The hotel has 4 floors. Rooms seem to be smaller than usual. Our room overlooked the entrance, where people hang out talking loudly in the late evening, so there is that slight noise potential. Walls and ceiling were a bit thin, where were somewhat bothered by the noise of people walking above us and we could even hear snoring in the room next to us. All not unexpected from lesser chains, but somewhat unusual for a Hampton Inn. It came with the normal good and free breakfast buffet. Seating was somewhat limited, with a few small tables and one large shared table. Staff were friendly and efficient. Parking was free and abundant. Free Wi-Fi was fast enough for web, not sure about streaming video. Plenty of network and cable channels on the TV. The room came with an iron and ironing board, but no refrigerator or microwave. Beware of selecting a room through their app. It offered all sorts of extras for extra cost, but we got everything without paying extra just by getting our room from the front desk. Note to Hilton — don't be like an airline and try to nickel and dime us to death! Overall, it's a good place and we would choose it again if we stay in the area.

Typical Hampton Inn although they didn't give me the type of room I reserved. I didn't say anything since I was staying one night and tired. It's easy to find and access from I-5.

4-story Hampton hotel with thin ceilings so YOU WILL hear foot traffic in the room above. First night late & heavy walker made enough disruption that it spoiled the stay. I addressed it with Asst. Manager asking if there was another suite I could move 2-Stars only for complimentary breakfast which was very good.

Clean and we'll maintained facility. It was quiet and peaceful. The beds were so comfortable. I slept so soundly I considered staying at least one more day. They have many amenities including an indoor heated pool, Wi-Fi as well as in room internet with Ethernet ports cable TV large bathrooms, spacious rooms with up to date furnishings and USB outlets for those who may have forgotten their wall block as I often do. They also offer a free continental breakfast and check out is at noon rather than 12 am for you late sleepers. I will be staying here again and I recommend staying here with it without children.

My air conditioning when out on me at 2:00 a. M. Blowing out hot air. Called front desk they had no one to come up and the captive unit. My room was 89ﾟ

This is a good, clean hotel next to the highway. Conveniently located near lots of restaurants. The staff was friendly and there was good, free breakfast. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. No complaints!

Over all good hotel to stay. Room is clean service is good except the noisy and clunky elevator.

Staff was extremely courteous, willing to go above and beyond to make our stay go as well as possible. Room was impeccably clean and beds were comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was tasty, diverse, and refreshed quickly back to capacity.

We stayed at the hotel during the Christmas period. Travelling from the UK. The staff and service we received was of the best quality. Rooms were serviced daily, there was fresh fruit and food daily at breakfast time. As Muslims, our dietary need were met with a smile and eagerness from the kitchen staff. We have highly recommended this superb hotel to family and friends. Definitely would book it again.

Upon arrival Front Desk was courteous & efficient. Went to my room, it was clean, nice and a cute added touch of small holiday chocolates left on the desk. I thought great first impression… I return to my room the next day after a really long day of meetings to find my room had not been serviced. (my END was taken off the door by 10:00 at the latest) I informed the Front Desk my room had not been serviced that day… and was told someone would bring me fresh towels and empty the trash. While I truly appreciate the young man that delivered the towels, he had to leave and get ready bags… he changed the trash bags… but left the trash on the floor in the bathroom. When I checked out the next morning and was asked about my stay… I informed the young lady about the room not being serviced & the trash bag being left on the floor. I wasn't really trying to complain but rather let her know of the challenges guest face… later that morning I check my vm and have a message from the young lady at the Front Desk informing me she had awarded me HONORS points. I appreciate her follow up and attention to detail. Thank you for going the extra mile, I appreciate your Customer Service efforts… giving a 5 Stars because of Front Desk Agent quick response.

This place was perfect on a thanksgiving weekend. I paid less than 100 bucks for two queen beds, not to mention the facilities are more than serviceable. Enjoy your stay here.

Room is nice. Bathroom needs better design with a grate in the main floor. Rooms need a small fridge. Nice and close to many amenities.

Omg this place is awesome. They have coffee and tea and cookies all day in the lobby. The staff is professional, very helpful and really nice. The rooms are clean, they smell good and have coffee makers inside. New state of the art air conditioned room with ultra comfortable beds. It's very quiet. It's centrally located with access to many restaurants, it's right off of the freeway. Parking is free. Their continental breakfast runs from 6am to 10am and it includes eggs, French toast, sausage, bagels, pastries, donuts, oatmeal and an array of fresh fruits with a gorgeous dining area. It also has a heated pool outside and has a business center with a gym on the first floor. I can't say enough about this place. I will stay here again in the future. It's the best hotel I've ever been to. Excellent. If I could rate it ten stars I would! Worth the money!

Guest services was helpful and the location was convenient; however, there was some issues regarding their shuttle service. We ended up needing a Lyft because the shuttle never arrived. The room was clean. The staff was friendly. Overall a good stay.

Lobby has … Fresh coffee and fruit at 9pm! Very nice. Ice cold water with sliced strawberries. Perfect and refreshing after a long day in a car. Staff was friendly. I accidentally left my car door unlocked … everything how and where I left it so I assume it is fairly 'safe' neighborhood. However I recommend locking you vehicle wherever you are. 5 stars because it was clean safe friendly.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The location is really convenient next to I-5. The rooms are nice, bed is comfortable and the complimentary breakfast is always a plus. I was just surprised to see that my room wasn't cleaned or restocked when I came back from work around 5pm.

One of the nicer places to stay off the I-5. You can get on or off the freeway there, so easy commute up to Sacramento & or South Sacramento area when taking the I-5. Not to mention it is right off Laguna Blvd, which has so many different types of restaurants you can eat at. It feels safe, and the safety has even improved with the new security cameras they've added. The staff during day / nighttime is extremely friendly. It's always good when they remember you by name & face. They're eager to assist you at anytime of day. They're located right next to a church and even have a church fellowship that comes in and rents out the meeting room once a week, so if you're looking to attend a service, it's the best place to be at.

Stayed overnight due to AC going out during heatwave. Didn't use any of their amenities so I can't comment on that. Room was spacious and clean. Did notice that the window was somewhat noisy so I thought it was open. Turns out either they have a bad seall to window or it's not very well made as it was closed Free breakfast offered lots of options. Fresh waffles are good but eggs, sausage and potatoes tasted bland or weird so I would pass on that. Fruit was good.

This was a great experience. Dr Hampton was the best! The service was exceptional. The room was very comfortable, the pool was clean, and the breakfast was hot! Would stay again.

Had a wonderful stay. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The beds and pillows made me wish I had them at home. It's close enough to everything so it was easy to get stuff we needed. Only thing I could even complain about was that the breakfast food like the eggs, bacon and french toast were all microwave food, but I loved the make your own waffle and oatmeal section. Definitely would stay here again!

This is a great hotel and I will definitely book a room here again the next time I'm in Elk Grove. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Anthony was the gentleman who checked us in and he was friendly and courteous, which goes a long way with me. Our room was immaculately clean when we entered and it was very spacious and comfortable. I wish the breakfast area was a little big bigger. The breakfast was good, but the dining area was so crowded that we ended up having to bring our food back to the room. Aside from that, you guys get 5 stars!

Clean, convenient, friendly staff. Not located near too much — — you'll have to do a quick drive to find somewhere half decent to eat, but if you are traveling for business and want to stay within a quick drive of Sacramento, it's a good deal.

Service was great. Lady handling breakfast was very nice & helpful. Maid left us a nice note a couple of times. Rooms were clean. Breakfast had a lot of choices.

My happy and smiling, the only thing that upset me was that they have no microwave and refrigerator in the room but they have breakfast included as well that one man does not die.

All the waffle fixings you could ask for. If you're in the erea, this is the place to stay. Unless you prefer A$$**** staff and crap food! :-)

I stayed in the Hampton Inn with my friends for a wedding we were attending. I really liked the e-check in option, because I just went to the front desk, picked up my keys, and was on my way. And I couldn't waste any time because I had a hair appointment to get to. I got the King suite, and it was pretty spacious. The bed was comfy, and my friend and I divided the pillows evenly. There were two firm pillows, and two softer pillows. She preferred the softer ones, and I needed a firm pillow to raise my foot (I sprained my ankle a few months back and danced way to hard at the wedding). My friend who slept on the sofa said it was uncomfortable. Most sofa beds are, but my friend can sleep anywhere. So for her to say she couldn't sleep means it was pretty uncomfortable. The room was mostly clean. I noticed hair between the carpet and the tile, and there were a few strands in underneath the covers. I assume it came from the person cleaning the room, and it wasn't worth complaining to the Front Desk. Breakfast was pretty good. There are two waffle makers, and that morning, there were sausages, biscuits, and gravy. I got there around 8/8:30, and there weren't many pastries left. I'm not sure if I came at a time before a staff member was able to replenish them. I got my fill of waffles, biscuits, and gravy, along with passion fruit juice. I brought some waffles and other breakfast items to my friends since they were still asleep.

Great place to stay. They sure do know how to treat their customers. My friend and I stayed here a few weeks ago and had an issue with our whirlpool tub, Hampton Inn went ahead and comp'd our next stay. Not only that, they decorated our room with balloons and gave us a goodie bag. Awesome place.
