Nasty hair in bath tub by approximately 5 different people. Paid for the suite but was not provided with any kitchen utensils. When I asked for some they brought us plastic forks and cups. Room reeked of a nasty bar. Do not being your kids here. Only good for parties and other r rated festivities.

I enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Elk Grove. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety of foods. The pool area was clean and relaxing. The staff was friendly too. I would come here again.

We stayed three nights. Our room was clean, bedding was great and adequate in supply, and the grounds were beautiful. Pool and spa were clean, and towels at the pool were plentiful. The mattresses were a bit hard, and my husband and I woke up stiff and sore every morning, but the pillows were absolutely lovely and amazing, and we slept well most nights, only suffering slightly in the morning until we got everything stretched back out. Room was quiet, and the black out shutters worked as advertised. I want something similar installed at home now. There were lots of options on the TV for channels via cable or satellite, including premium channels, but we were not able to use our Chromecast to access our Netflix. We were able to request extra towels, coffee, and shampoo, with no issues at all. Our room had a mini fridge and microwave, and both were clean and worked great. Parking was no issue at all, and the hotel is within walking distance of many eateries and shopping. Breakfast every morning was hot, plentiful, and there were lots of options, all of which tasted delicious. Loved the variety, as we were traveling with picky children. We did have an issue during our stay which should have been a really big deal, but want for reasons I'll explain. For some reason, the front desk was not able to get either of our credit cards to work for our entire stay, even though the limits on both were plenty high, and had been used in the area for food and gas a few times.

Nice and clean place. Very clean pool that is cleaned with the salt. Yummy breakfast.

The location of the hotel is great, being so close to the freeway, and so close to stores such as Old Navy. The room was not that bad, which is why I gave a four star, but the service here was very good, including the free breakfast. Overall, a great hotel to stay at.

The King Suite was large and roomy. I loved the separated rooms and balcony. The deluxe breakfast was delicious. Very nice place to stay.

Great Holiday Inn Express. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was a perfect touch. Stayed here the night before a surgery at Kaiser Permanente. Close to a wonderful restaurant (Mimi's Cafe). Rooms were clean and well appointed. Nice gym and pool/spa. Lite sound from hallways and rooms above were the only things keeping from 5-stars. I'd stay here again.

Great staff. Helpful, pleasant and eager to help. Breakfast was ok better off going out. Room was not good old rundown. They did say they were doing repairs, you could do better.

Very modern looking on the inside with a nice main waiting area/breakfast nook. Many amenities. The rooms are also very nice and clean.

This hotel has had a fantastic remodeling. The lobby is very modern looking and very open. The rooms have also been updated and are very nice. Checking in was very quick. Breakfast was the normal fare.

We had an amazing experience at holiday inn express. The fastest Wi-Fi ever. Excellent customer service. Free and delicious breakfast. Free cookies just for passing by the receptionist's counter. My kids had a great time. Great location. Friendly staff. Will definitely go back to any of their branches from now on.

I have been here at the holiday in Express for a few weeks in a row now. I am here for work the staff is great they will assist you with anything you need no matter the time. I am here because of the service. The rooms are nice everything you need for a stay. You can here neighbors easily but or people in the hallway but that is to be expected. The Beds are very comfortable and they have a variety of pillows to choose from soft to hard for what you like. Overall it is a nice place to stay. And I would recamend it for the amount you are paying.

Nice place. It doesn't feel like you're in elk grove when you go there. Adequate conference room space for smaller meetings.

Quick check-in and excellent customer service from the staff. Contemporary hotel remodel was a nice/clean look. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is clean, safe, is conveniently located in the Elk Grove shopping center close to freeway and has an excellent Continental breakfast. Also the long was recently redone and had a nice modern feeling. I've started here numerous times and highly recommend this hotel.

It was ok. The bathroom tub has hair in it and the mirror on the sliding door had fingerprints. Other than that it was great I stayed here a few times before already. I will definitely come back just housekeeping me to remember the smallest detail counts.

I attend a monthly club meeting here. The facility was just remodeled, and everything looks fresh and up to date. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is located adjacent to a shopping mall, so there are numerous eating and shopping places within walking distance.

Nice hotel with comfortable rooms. Great service and honest people. They were recently undergoing some construction but you wouldn't know it from inside the room. During my stay I lost something valuable in my room and I didn't realize it until a few days later. I called the hotel and they found and returned the item to me. Can't thank the staff enough!

Construction has been disturbing. Other than that, decent hotel.

The room where the event was held was spacious for the occasion, and I enjoyed the loom and feel of it.

I work often in elk Grove and my stay here is great everytime. Friendly staff, rooms are clean, and never too noisey.

The few people I had to deal with on phone and front desk were lazy and slow, they messed up my reservation, and over charged my credit card. This place was a joke. I will never stay here again.

Rooms are okay, but suites are available. Service is very good if anything goes wrong. Location is great as it is right off the freeway.

Very clean and quiet rooms. They look to have been updated fairly recently. Decent size for a family of three. Decent number of restaurants within walking distance, Mimi's and BJ's. Continental breakfast had a nice selection of items to choose from. Free Wi-Fi. One small gripe I had was the AC unit in our room was older and not updated as some of the other units had with the digital thermostat.

During a very, very long drive, I went online to book 1 — room with 2 double beds. It was like sleeping in a cloud, wonderful on our backs with 4 very comfy pillows on each bed. We were also delighted with the exceptionally large bathroom with beautiful marbled sidings from top of tubs to the ceilings. Oh… The sink area was in another large area surrounded with the most updated lighting for us ladies to apply our makeup and style our hair. I have to say I sure wish I had lighting in my home like they do here at the Holiday Express Inn & Suites in Elk Grove, California. The hiden refrigerator and a pull out microwave were something I hadn't expected. But it sure put a big smile on my face. Big desks, clean rooms, and plenty of towels. I just want to thank you all who make this possible for us travelers day in and day out. Jack checked us in, he was gracious and helped us with the perfect room. And I also want to thank everyone in the background that makes this all happen each and everyday for there very happy customer's reactions, like mine. Thank you all, I will always come to this particular location when in town or passing through. Good Job Everyone. My daughter and I would like to say, thank you kindly for making our stay one of our very bests. To the managers, you have a wonderful staff of people who make you all look really good. I think this very lengthy rating system, should really help out those who make your Hotel look as fabulous do to there very hard work.
