The hotel was very close to the park which made walking back to the hotel during the hot parts of the day for cool off in the pool very doable. Comfy beds. They seemed to have a problem with ants and spiders during my most recent trip. I had a spider land on my head and little sugar ants were everywhere throughout the room. All in all, get rid of the spider attacks so that I don't get a concussion from my wife slapping my head to remove the spider, and remove the ants from my wallet and credit cards, and the latest experience would've been perfect!

Rooms were very nice, the location was perfect right across the street from Disneyland and right in front of the walk way. House keeping was really good and came when requested. I had really good customer service when checking in, and there is a small store located on property Incase we needed anything. Overall amazing experience and will definitely book there with future Disney trips. It was very convenient to be across from Disney and I will recommend to all my friends and family.

The complimentary ants were a nice touch and it's cool that your staff find my tattoos interesting enough that they will put their hands all over them without asking. Thanks for helping me start my vacation with a bang! It was a comfortable experience, glad I chose you guys over a cheaper room with a bigger pool! Excellent customer service by the way, refunding me for the $30 "valet" fees really helped compensate for the buyers remorse you caused me for the $400+ I spent on your trainwreck of a hotel.

Old school hotel that has been updated. The rooms are nicer than you would think and are clean. This is not a fancy upscale hotel but it gets the job done. Small pool and a nice mini mart. Excellent location, walk across the street to Disneyland. Limited parking and we were forced to valet. Good value just don't expect a resort style hotel.

Great Disneyland hotel! Literally right across the street. Rooms were clean, they had a very handy store and espresso stand in the hotel. Pool was fantastic. Overall we loved this place. There are restaurants within walking distance. Will be back.

Room was great! Theme was so cute! Soaps were coconut scented! And the staff was super friendly. The best part about this place is how close it is to Disneyland. It is like a 5 minute walk and it made Disneyland itself more enjoyable!

Okay first off we did get a Military discount very much appreciate that! Also we did stay in the two bedroom two bathroom suite with two balconies as well! Obviously not all rooms are like ours was. That being said it was freshly renovated which was very well done! You simply can’t beat the proximity to Disneyland as well! Made going back to our room to rest/recharge very convenient! We won’t stay anywhere else when we return to Disneyland! Highly recommend!

Super close to Disneyland entrance with reasonable prices! The walk to and from the park is definitely doable, even after a long day and tired feet from walking around. The rooms have recently been remodeled, and the exterior is currently being updated as well. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. Free Wi-Fi, large pool and spa. The spa feels great on your aching feet after a couple days at Disney. The little convenience store attached is great as well to stock up on drinks for the park. We are repeat customers and plan to continue coming here for our Disneyland vacations.

Clean room, friendly, quick check in. Large parking lot but sometimes low on parking spots, but they will valet park your car if needed. Nightly $15 plus tax fee for parking. No breakfast but there is a convenience store with good coffee/espresso on the premises. Super convenient to Disneyland, Downtown Disney and California Adventure, cross the street and you're there.

I've stayed here twice in the last year and both experiences were excellent. Checking in/out is very efficient and the staff is courteous. The remodel has updated the rooms nicely and for a 'motel' I think the beds are of a really high quality. The location is fantastic if visiting the Disneyland Resort. You have less of a walk to the park staying here than at Paradise Pier resort hotel and it's half the price. The Cove mini mart that is attached to the Tropicana is a life saver in the morning for coffee and quick breakfast choices (fruit, protein bars, yogurt). I visit the parks annually and have stayed at many of the good neighbor hotels on Harbor BLVD. The Tropicana always seems to have very competitive rates and is easily in my top two choices.

While our room was super small (it was the only room available, most likely one of their small ones) the bed was surprisingly very comfortable. There is a convenient store/coffee bar on the bottom level. A nice pool although I didn't partake, but oddly placed in the center of the parking lot. If you are going to Disneyland there isn't much closer of a distance, it's literally a 2-3 walk. I will certainly try and stay here next time I'm off to Disney.

The room was great, well kept and very clean, modern and over better then anywhere else on the Disney strip I've stayed. I loved the coconut smelling toiletries, but my husband didn't care for the smell. We also loved how easy it was to walk to and from Disneyland, very quick very fast! My only issue would be we got in so late that we had to use the valet parking and they lost our keys and woke me up at 6 a. M. To tell me that they left my lights on all night long.

We stayed here for 5 nights, it was great. Very short walk to Disney Land and restaurants. Rooms were newly renovated. They have a convenience store that's not too over priced. Parking is 12$ per night, and a little tight but they have free valet. We will definitely stay here again. You can see Space Mountain for our front door.

My husband and I stayed here for a week while visiting Disneyland. It’s a very clean hotel, with friendly staff and such a short walk to the park. I’m assuming we were in a newly renovated room. I really liked the room aside from two things. 1. We were on the ground floor, and could hear the kids above us running around and stomping at 6am every morning. Usually I wouldn’t care, but we were on vacation and wanted to sleep in a bit. 2. Our bathroom didn’t have a bathtub. The bathroom itself was nice, I was just upset there was no tub. I wanted nothing more than to relax and soak after a long day of walking at Disney, but I couldn’t. We couldn’t even go to the hot tub because it closed before the parks did every night : ( Other than these two things, I recommend the Tropicana, and we will probably stay again. (But I’ll ask for floor 2 and a tub)

Great location to go to Disneyland as it's across the street from the actual park. Parking is pay to park and will seem expensive but is the best price compared to other surrounding locations neat the park. Room are rooms, nothing special about them. House keeping is really loud to early in the morning. Instead of using their radios to call each other they would rather shout across parking lot to the other complex. Rooms are clean and sheets are white and clean. Would definitely stay here again and I would bring earplugs.

Being in front of the parks made my stay very comfortable.

It is very beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable, also is in an excellent location to get to the Disney parks, the only bad thing is that they do not have enough parking.

This is a perfect choice for Disneyland. We were able to walk across the street to Disneyland every morning. We actually managed to come back to the hotel around mid day for a swim in the pool with the kids and then take a nap and head back into the park in the afternoon. Very nice and clean room friendly staff perfect location. I would book here for our next trip in a heart beat.

My wife and I have stayed here twice so far when we go to Anaheim for Blizzcon and we have never had any issues. The rooms are always clean and the staff is very friendly. It is across the street from Disneyland if you want an easy trip there. It is also within walking distance of the Anaheim convention center.

Very clean and affordable hotel. Perfect location for Disneyland. Friendly staff and relaxing pool and hot tub. We would definitely stay here again!

This clean the room but do not leave shapoo or soap daily and is the Qye is acupa when there are more than three people in the room.
As for the Serca of the park, that if this super practical.

Stayed to visit Disneyland. Very close to the parks with a very clean room and housekeeping service was excellent. Easy parking with complimentary valet if the self park lot is full. No complaints. Would stay again.

My family always stayed here when we visited Disneyland. It is good price, close to the park and restaurants and the bedrooms are clean.

We chose this hotel based on proximity to the park and price and I was very pleased with our stay. I was expecting a basic budget hotel and was pleasantly surprised with our accomadations. The only down side was that the beds were on the firm side. I'm a soft bed person, so that's my only negative. They checked our bags when we were there before check in time and they even checked and held or bags after we checked out to help us have a little more time at the park. All in all I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone going to Disneyland.

Very pleased with the room for the weekend. Our room had been remodeled to our delight. The other half of the hotel is still being renovated. Great location for visiting Disneyland and Calif Adventure. They have a little gift shop with fun trinkets, munchies, wine, soda, coffee in the morning. Staff was very helpful.

Recently renovated rooms. Comfortable beds. Very affordable, clean and quiet. Great little cafe and store on site called the Cove. Walking distance to Disneyland park. We have stayed here multiple times and will be back. Highly recommended.

Great spot to stay and is only a small walk from Disneyland. Beds are super comfy and rooms are clean. The staff is super friendly and the valet staff always cheerful. James suggested the best malls near here and even offered to call us a Taxi to get there. He told us to wait inside where its cool and he would come and get us when it got here. Definitely going to stay here again next Disney trip. Best service from a hotel… Ever.

This is our go to hotel when we go to Disneyland. They are undergoing some renovations and we were in a newly renovated room. Clean and comfortable. Served it's purpose. Not enough self parking, but we used valet and that was great. Four people in our room, two queen beds, only two wash cloths and three bath towels each day… never enough towels for all of us to use. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Across the street from the main entrance to Disneyland. Parking is expensive, $15/day plus 17% tax. Valet is complementary. All and all a pleasant stay. Will definitely stay there again.

When we go to Disneyland or Disney World we usually stay at their resorts but they were full this time. We also usually stay at a Hilton or Marriott property when traveling, but we really wanted to stay within close walking distance of the parks. We weren't expecting much from the Tropicana since it's not a major chain and the low price, but we were very pleasantly surprised. The room was large, modern, and very clean. The AC kept the room cool and the shower had great water pressure — I hate showers that just dribble. The check-in staff was fairly friendly (they were very busy), and the location was perfect for walking to Disney's parks. They have a small convenience store which worked well for getting a morning coffee.

Not super expensive. Short walking distance from the park, good room service. Beds were not the cleanest and Wi-Fi was slow.

My room was mid 80's style. The room had a musty smell and the room was so humid the AC could not keep up. Don't know if it had a water leak or something. Could not stay there another night. Highly discourage anyone staying there. You get what you pay for, Literally.

GOOD: Very polite desk staff and valet. Clean room. Location, location, location! — — hotel is across the street from the Disney parks (only a five minute walk). Wifi was solid on my visit. CAUTION: Parking is very tight. My best estimate is that there is one, single, self-serve parking space per 5 hotel rooms. In short, there are not enough spaces. You will be forced to use the valet who will double park the cars in the back one-third section of the lot. The valet will not charge you, the hotel will still charge the self-parking fee in addition to the fact that you should tip the valet. This was not a major issue, and in the end, was a pleasant experience. It's just something that a non-valet user should be aware of. Too add, the strip of hotels adjacent to Disney appear to have been built some time ago before ginormous parking lots were commonplace. Room was probably half-way through its cycle since the last update. I requested extra coffee on my visit and a staff member was at my door in minutes handing me a pile of coffee (excellent service! ). Overall, I was pleased with this hotel and would recommend that others heavily consider staying here.

I've stayed here numerous times and always love it. The location is amazing and the prices are usually very reasonable compared to the nearby options. The rooms are always clean, the beds are comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Most, if not all of the rooms face the interior courtyard / parking lot, so I've never heard the Harbor Blvd. Traffic while staying here, unlike at the nearby hotels. Unfortunately, that also means no view of the Disney parks / fireworks, but you could also just walk out to the front sidewalk. The only downside for me is that sometimes the rooms smell and feel a little musty or humid, but I think that it from the air conditioners. Opening the window upon arrival usually does the trick!

Valet staff was the best thing about this hotel other than the location which is directly across the street from disneyland. Other hotel staff unhelpful… paid extra for queen beds and received full beds. Average run of the mill hotel. Fine for just a quick 1 night stay.

The Disney magic continues at the Tropicana. Our 4th year with 20+ band students and they make our stay a joy! Don't miss the Aztec Mocha at The Cove convenience store up front; your coffee smiles back at you. And sAve BuuKoo bucks on Disney merch at the gift shop on site!

Really disappointed at Expedia and Tropicana Inn in Anaheim CA to the point that both of them, in my opinion, suck. Tropicana Inn, reserved through Expedia was not very handicap/disabled friendly to the point that there was no parking, they wanted to put us on the second floor no where near any elevator, (my mother in law is disabled) and all of their "parking" was blocked off for their supposed "Valet Parking" so there was no where close to park to unload or assist my mother-in-law who needs assistance walking, not to mention up to a second floor; again no where near an elevator. We mentioned the disabled situation and neither did they care, nor try and accommodate. We decided not to check in and come to find out no refund due to Expedia going off the word of Tropicana Inn that the room was used. We didn't even get to the point of going up to the room as there was no disability assistance; ergo, they lied to Expedia and apparently Expedia doesn't care and didn't do a thing, including refused the refund of a room that we didn't use. ‪#‎ShameonExpedia‬ ‪#‎TropicanaInnAnaheimsucks‬ ‪#‎Expedia‬ ‪#‎TropicanaInnAnaheim‬

Rooms are very clean, smell clean. Beds are comfortable too. Room has flat screen TV, microwave a refigerator. Staff is also friendly. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the rooms were a bit small (2 queen sized beds).

Very nice and clean. Not fancy. Had a small fridge and micro wave. Good size safe and Tv. All staff very helpful and polite. Nice pool and hot tub. Very close to Disneylans. Could see the fireworks every night from the deck. It was nice and quite at night.

First, the parking lot is 50% blocked off so you HAVE to get your car valet parked; for us that meant anything left in the car was off limits our whole stay and we felt like a burden. Which of course also meant a force tip at the end for a service I did not want! And parking was 17 bucks a night already. The room was extremely noisy, I finally just left the TV on to drown out other noises so I could sleep. And when we were leaving… We realized there was a disgusting stain on the bottom sheet our whole stay… Horrified by this hotel. The distance is not worth the discomfort.

I just got back from a 4 night stay here and I'm pretty unimpressed. The rooms are okay nothing special, they're kept nice and clean and the housekeeping staff is very kind and helpful. Ladies, if you're someone who likes to do makeup bring a lighted mirror because the lighting in the rooms is absolutely terrible. If you have more than a few things to charge at the end of the day bring a surge protector with multiple ports because you're lucky if you can find more than 3 outlets that are easy to get to in these rooms. And beware the front desk staff I have never met anyone so rude and condescending in my life. I used to love staying here but the last few years I feel like they've gotten really bad. I'd rather stay at Carousel next door and possibly spend a few more bucks a night.

I'm sure this hotel (motel honestly) was the cats meow 60 years ago when Disneyland opened but it certainly isn't any longer. My family and I stayed in a "Disney Executive Suite" for 7 days earlier this month and we were able to experience all the disappointments this location had to offer. First was trying to park for check in. About 85% (yes 85%) of the parking was blocked off for "Valet" meaning you were forced to valet your car. Cars were double and triple parked around the circle it was so bad, they must rent spaces for visitors to the park or something. I had a rental, so I really didn't care about the car being valeted but the fact valet was forced upon everyone was quite perturbing. — — Valet is free but parking is a steep $12 a night plus 17% tax. The room… dark and dreary. Lighting was horrible and with the exception of the TV's, I seriously doubt anything in the room has been updated since the 60's. The room has "two bathrooms" but good luck in the second bathroom, I'll attach a picture (see trip advisor) of my shoe in the show stall,, it's tiny. The shower stall itself is barely a two and half foot cube with a door that clears the toilet seat by about 1/4 of an inch. Around the door to the balcony you could almost make out daylight all the way around it. I've since looked closer at older reviews and have seen complaints of roaches, this is probably how they get in.

Great location right across the street from disneyland entrance. Different selections of restaurants such as IHOP, Dennys, and Captain Kids buffet next door. Inexpensive and secure parking was great. Employees were very friendly as well. The rooms were, for the most part, clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend Tropicana for a stress-free vacation at disneyland.

Great location, friendly staff, and worth the money. Rooms are not out of this world, but when at Disneyland, who needs it. Parking is not included in room cost, so be prepared for that.

Literally the best place to stay if you plan on visiting Disney. It's right across the street so it's an easy walk back and forth, perfect for taking a nap during the busiest part of the day. Phenomenal hot tub and pool as well.

Honestly it's a nice enough hotel with a perfect location. Small store/cafe is convient and they have microwaves and mini fridges in the room. Only complain is that we started in a room with a messed up toilet and the second room they moved us to after they needed with the first one twice didn't preform much better. Sadly won't be here long though Disney bought them for sw land.

The hotel is decent. My family stays here almost every vacation. It is close to Disneyland, and sandwhiched between McDonald's, pizza press, and IHOP. The only downside is the lack of parking and elevators.

My family really enjoys this hotel. The staff is helpful and polite. We have stayed enough times to experience different rooms at different locations. The rooms are clean and spacious. My husband, daughter, and myself are able to wander comfortably. The beds are comfortable and clean. The showers are roomy with geat heat and pressure. The only reason I gave this hotel 4 instead of 5 stars is because they simply need more elevators. If you have the misfortune of being on the second floor and on the opposite side of the elevator, you have a difficult time lugging all your luggage into and out of your room. The only other issue is parking can be and is a nightmare. Not only are spaces limited, they cone off a number of spaces to rent out to the public at a higher rate. This leaves guests scrambling for a spot or trustin the valet to not damage their cars. For the prices and conveniences offered by this hotel, my family continues to stay with this hotel. We have tried other neighboring hotels, but we keep coming back to the Tropicana Inn and Suites.

Perfect location, perfect rooms and good staff! We arrived late and were greeted by staff at 2am without issue. Sooooo close to Disneyland its so nice! Will definitely try to stay here again!

Close to the park, friendly staff, Wi-Fi internet was decent. Room was really humid even with the ac on for some reason.

Good spot across the street from disney. Got the suite with the balconies and good place to drink a brew and see the fireworks if you have to call it a early night. Great pizza spot around the corner and the cove is good for some coffee in the morning. Older looking and smelling rooms so you paying for location but it's great for a quick 10 min walk from Disney to take a shower, cool down, and head back. Even though the water pressure is pretty low. Other than that I'd stay again.

Great location, and had Wi-Fi. That's what got two stars. The staff is incredibly rude. They were snappy about basic things like asking (quite politely) for more towels for the pool, if there was a printer available, where the closest In & Out was, etc. Questions regarding their parking policy were met with outright silence. They didn't even bother answering. Who books a hotel room and expects to pay another $12 a day for parking? It's also not guaranteed parking, if they farmed your spot out already to someone then they will park your car offsite, who knows where. No basic breakfast (come on, donuts and an apple! ), room didn't have coffee stocked, no 'local restaurant/delivery' pamphlet that even the sleaziest of motels provide. All in all, account for that extra parking cost and the fact you'll be buying breakfast daily, and go book yourself a slight more expensive, but far more accommodating hotel. They might even have staff that doesn't sneer at you!

Very close to the park and I enjoyed the little market just downstairs. Stayed for 12 nights and found multiple bugs everywhere. Lightbulb went out, got it fixed and already saw at least 10 live bugs in the dish. Also, they're trying to keep extermination on the down low but only half of the hotel is getting it done at the time. Been waking up with countless bug bites all around my toes, you almost couldn't see any skin that hadn't been bitten. Bed bugs every night, pool is cold and cramped and maids take too long to clean the rooms. Dont even get me started on the TERRIBLE Wi-Fi. Could've enjoyed it more, but other than the location and store there's nothing really good about it.

Our room was very clean, quiet, and updated. It was a little tricky to find a spot for the rollaway but the nice young man moved things around and made it work without taking away too much space. We asked for a ground level room due to a handicap. We were also able to park fairly close to our room. There is a fee for parking, I see people complain about it like its a surprise but you would pay more in the park and have to ride on a tram (EWW). The walk across to Disneyland is 5 minutes and my husband and I both have knee and hip issues. Very easy walk. We had coffee from the Cove and it was very good! All staff everywhere on this property were very pleasant and polite. I wish they offered breakfast still so I would actually give them a 4 1/2 stars. But since we had such a nice stay here I am giving the whole 5! Thank you Tropicana for the nice relaxing stay :)

While the room was adequate and clean, we have had nothing but problems with the financial end of our stay. The front desk staff member (Mark) appeared like he had no idea what was going on and come to find out, he did not. We were charged for the room and the City Pass tickets that we purchased on our credit card. But then when we had checked out and headed home, we realized that a hold had been placed on our credit card for the amount of what the City Pass tickets cost. This was BEYOND the amount that had already been charged on our card. We realized this had happened when we attempted to book a hotel on our way home and our credit card was denied. My husband called and Tropicana admitted it was their mistake and that it would be cleared up in 2 days. We have been home now for a week and the hold is still on our card and it has frozen that account so that we can't use it. My husband called AGAIN this morning and was informed that the person with whom he need to speak was not in today. This has become a huge inconvenience for us and unacceptable business practice. We will never stay at this hotel again, nor will we recommend it to anyone else. I am giving it 2 stars because of this problem. The room was acceptable and clean.

We had an excellent experience staying here. Great interaction with cleaning staff, parking staff and front desk. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Great after long hot days in southern California. Close to all things to be done when in southern California. 30 mins to Newport Beach, 35 mins to Huntington Beach.

The standard rooms are smaller than a few of the hotels I've stayed at next to Disneyland, but that can be okay if you're spending all day in the park anyway. The standard room was clean. The bathroom and single sink are cramped. HIDDEN FEE — overnight parking for two nights $21. I paid online for a reservation and they tacked that on when I checked out. Bad business in my opinion.

I would recommend anyone looking for an inn to consider this their first choice. The rooms were amazing, clean and neat with all accommodations well taken care of. The employees take true pride in their work and the management handles any problems with the utmost decorum. For instance, I had a problem receiving my deposit after my stay due to card complications and the manager, Michele, did everything in her power to ensure I was well taken care of even though it was not their system that was holding up my deposit.

Positives: Proximity to Disneyland. Generally polite staff. The housekeepers were very kind. The bed was comfortable. Convenience Store on-site open early and late. Negatives: I'm fairly certain that the carpets haven't been cleaned at all in the last decade. The shower know was broken so we couldn't turn on the hot to any more than a trickle. Cold showers are not fun. The "continental breakfast" was a joke, they don't start it until after you need to be in line at Disneyland, and they charge for their cruddy coffee plus all other drinks including water. As bad as it may sound, we headed for McD's for breakfast as it was right next store. When our 1 year old locked himself in the bathroom (very easy given their door knobs) we called the front desk and went in search of maintenance. Thank goodness I was able to pop the lock and get him out because they never came to help us get him out.
