Checked in 4:59 pm PST 7/18/18 remote for TV did not work. 5:59 pm moved to another room. The first room had 1 bed the second room had 2 beds post to cost more but there was no extra charge (you think) at 10:00 pm the power goes out went out to my tractor trailer to get phone # for police they stated there was a structure fire power would be out until next morning was not sure of time. We slept in our truck with AC it was 109 degrees in Corning CA power back on at 6:00 am 7/19/18. Which the window AC was still off key word (window) where is the back-up generator? We sleep in our truck every night why would I pay for a hotel room to sleep in my truck?! We asked at front desk during breakfast if and how they were going to compensate us they stated they didn't have any power at there home either. But they live in Corning and we live in Chattanooga TN. I don't appreciate any of this nor the customer service. I filed a complaint with Wyndham and we will see what happens. And that was my 53rd birthday present! Thanks Super 8 Corning CA.

So here it goes, barely any outlets for today's tech, a flickering light bulb, a noisy air conditioner (107 that day), no use of the microwave due to the plate being stolen the night before, refrigerator temp knob missing (couldn't freeze ice packs completely), turn on the water faucet and your clothes get wet due to no bubbler, flip lock didn't work properly (didn't feel safe with the four creepy guests in the parking lot most the evening) stained bed skirts and comforters, clean sheets but stained, the one good thing I have to say is the staff were polite, hence the second star. I had to listen to my family complain about the room all night and compare it to the Best Western plus we stayed at the year prior (they didn't have double beds available). I realize this is a one night tourist stop, but pick up your game Super 8, this room was not worth what we paid. We're not the snobby type by any means, we just expect more out of the hospitality industry for our hard earned money. And yes, we did ask for a second room but it had a broken Lock and the manager would have had to let us in with the master key every time we needed in, not practical. I would have loved nothing more than to leave a 5 star rave review, but what would you have left under the same circumstances?

Great Place to Stay, good breakfast free Wi-Fi oh and a really reasonable price like it.

Clean, close to alot of things we needed in Corning. And it is dog friendly.

This was actually quite nice for the price. Fairly decent part of town. Not sketchy like some other places we've been to!

I arrived very late without a reservation and they were open for check-in. They were kind enough to let me stay at the later end of late checkout without me having to ask. The staff was friendly and the room was well kept. It's not a high-end motel by any means but I would stay here again. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly.

Nice clean comfortable room w mini fridge n microwave. The Olive Pit across the street is a definite stop at for a foodie to sample many of the over 200 stuffed olives plus vinegars and olive oil flavors. And the cafes not bad either. Mexican food place across the street. And a fairly decent taco truck next door to the hotel. I will be coming back here again.

The motion light in our room constantly goes off without provocation. Other than that it's comfortable, clean, and reasonably priced.

I turned in a application several weeks ago. I was told by one employee that they don't hire people like me and they have no job for me here. I find that very judgmental seeing the 2 employees that judged me are recovering addicts if they are in recovery. Ive got 9 years clean and sober and for someone to judge is not right. Its called discrimination and I will be getting ahold of my lawyer.

Linens were clean but the rest was questionable. Bed was very comfortable. Price was good but probably will not stay here again unless I am very tired. I did not feel the quality of this place is as nice as the one in Springfield, Oregon.

The pool was nice and the decor of the room was nice. However, we turned the AC on at 4pm and had it running all night long and the temperature of the room never seem to really drop much. Even in the morning we still had barely a sheet on us.

Only 1 person on duty makes it difficult to get assistance. Pool gate does not open with room key card. Nice clean rooms. Refreshing pool to relax in. Comfy.

It was just what we needed for an overnight stay. Clean and comfortable, plenty of options for breakfast. Staff were helpful and kind. Easy to find and checking in late was no problem.

Room was fine, and the TV was very nice. Breakfast was unsatisfactory; just too crowded and ran out of too many things. It was nice that they had discount agreements with their neighboring restaurants.

Ned's updating and bathroom had mold all over.

Our first room a filthy. Had them get us another room that was clean.

Remodeled and clean hotel. Was very satisfied with the quality at such a low price. Would stay here again if I were passing through town.

Swimming pool in the summer. As guests of the hotel we were given coupons for local restaurants and shops. Free breakfast was stocked and had enough options to make a choice about what to have for breakfast. Working air conditioning. Lots of TV channels and good internet for a hotel. Would definitely stay here again. (We stayed a weeknight).

Absolutely terrible! Do not stay here. Upon returning to my room the door stopper behind the door was pushed through the wall. (looked like the wall had already been patched in that spot several times) I reported it to the front desk. The dirt bags charged my card $100 for room damage that their cleaning staff did.

Consistent: clean, decent location, friendly staff, free breakfast. It was quiet, clean, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom clean, the Wi-Fi worked, we felt like the car was safe. It's right off I-5, but not noisy. Karen at the front desk is really friendly.
