I bring my dad and his girlfriend every year. We love everything about Casa Ojai. The staff, the breakfast, the clean rooms. Love everything about this hotel and looking forward to my return.

Such an awesome experience! So clean and welcoming… perfect location with the mountains as a backdrop.

This will be our hotel from now on. We fell in love with it. It's clean, cozy, has welcoming staff and was in great walking distance from downtown Ojai. The pool was very clean, well kept, and has sofas where you can relax.

The Casa Ojai Inn had a really cute and cozy room. It had a Keurig, coffee, decaf, tea and it also had some mugs. The front desk agent was super understanding and lovely, she even helped us jump start our car. It was very quiet, relaxing, and peaceful. The complimentary breakfast was very nice and the pool was well maintained.

Nice quiet rooms and very soft beds. The pool area is great and the breakfast selection was good.

I arrived late and was happy to get a room, and surprised to get a nice deal and a very kind woman who checked me in. Definitely going back.

Our room was decent enough and had a lovely view, however the walls were fairly thin and we could hear the unit next door showering and using the toilet. The mini fridge in our room also had a loud cracking sound that kept us up during our stay. Staff was friendly and nice, but the bathroom area in the rooms is extremely small. The stairs on one of the buildings could have been better lit at night as well.

This is a wonderful place. It's a hidden gem. Service A+, rooms A+ and overall experience A+.

Loved the service. Informative and cordial. Even told us of the specials in town and the best places. Rooms were clean and very comfy. Highly recommend.

The hotel was mainly a place to lay the hat for the night as my family and I were there to hang out with friends and experience Ojai. I think we would have gotten a better sense of the place if we had spent more time there but the rooms were decent, they had free cookies in the lobby which were delicious. I think the main problem was the air conditioning unit, which was over the sink seemed to need a filter change as there were flakes of some unknown brownish black substance falling out into the sink and onto the counter which was somewhat off putting. Regardless, the room met our needs for the trip.

Great find. Close to town, golf shoping. Very congenial staff. Great room!

I was extremely hesitant of posting a positive review in fear that it would cause it to be booked up on the days that I travel here. That's very selfish, but it's true.

Great place! Quiet, comfortable and very tidy well-maintaned property. I definitely plan to stay again when in the area. My girlfriend and I stayed there one night while she was visiting from Hawaii. She was really pleased. Kim, at the front desk, suggested a few places to visit and dine while in town. And though I missed the opportunity, they offer guests bikes to use to ride into town. That would have been fun. I had a nice conversation with Talon (also at the front desk) the next morning. I'm happy we decided Casa Ojai Inn. I wish them all a speedy recovery after the fires.

Very good hotel located at the end of the city. The rooms are spacious and renovated. The hotel has a pool and hot tub. Breakfast is very simple.

I requested for a roll away bed which was not available after that I went the front desk's solution offering to cancel our reservation which of course would not help me at all but their response was not helpful to me after that I was stayed for 2 days to avoid their terms and conditions it was very bad to stay there. Oh god finally I am happy now, I am going to leave Ojai.

For the "cheap" motel in a tourist town, this place has virtually everything — good location, pool, spa, large rooms, lots of space to move around. And the price is very fair. Yea, we stayed at the Ojai Valley Inn, but if you want the best bang for the buck, save your money for good food and stay here.

Nice location, very friendly staff, the rooms were very clean. Saltwater pool is a plus. The breakfast wasn't bad. I would definitely return.

Very nice room. Great staff. Walking distance to most points of interest. You need to check this place out.

On the better side for a motel. There were bikes you could borrow for free. Good location near downtown. Good furniture. However, the floor was visibly dirty. You could swipe your finger over it and leave clean marks. No mini fridge, but had Keurig coffee machine and capsules. I got what I expected. I would do it again.

Very clean. Very nice kept grounds. Updated rooms that look great. I am picky and this has been one of my top place. Great place to stay.

I really liked this place. Spacious room, very clean, updated bath, soft bed, good looking solid wood furniture, large plush towels. Downsides: noisy fan, pillows were actually a bit too large, shutters don't fully block light from cars parking in the lot. But I would stay here again for sure, just bring my own pillow.

Very nice, clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub are enjoyable. We also enjoyed the beer and wine tasting at the Ojai Beverage Company given to us by the Inn. And the food was pretty good.

The staff are so friendly, the rooms are nice and spacious, pretty basic but clean and easily accessible. The free cookies were a plus and we'll see how the breakfast is tomorrow, but so far I'm very happy we chose this hotel and I will definitely be back on one of my many trips to Ojai in the future.

Rooms are comfortable and especially the beds which have very soft, cozy linens. The inn is located close to downtown Ojai with many shops and restaurants within about a mile. Desk person and housekeeping staff are friendly and courteous. Overall very happy with our stay!

We paid a lot for our room. We drove up and we're stunned to see that it looked like a motel 6 and our room inside basically looked like one too. The pictures they post on the website are deceiving. In our room the shower was rusted broken tile around the toilet and when I turned on the a/c which is located above the sink, debris started flying out of it like it hadn't been used in months or they hadn't cleaned it. The pictures on the website make it seem like they have a restaurant on site but there isn't any. Also the keurig in our room was broken. They did have complimentary breakfast which was nice but the food was awful and because they don't have a restaurant on site I wonder how they got all that food there fresh? Very very disappointed with how much we paid.

Comfortable, clean and well appointed hotel.

As an Ojai native that visits a handful of times a year, this is a great value. A decent-enough room, great pool, friendly staff, conveniently located, and can't beat the "pink moment" view.

Clean room, plenty of parking, great pool, continental breakfast, fair price, will stay again.

I always stay here when I'm visiting the Thacher School. They have friendly staff and I love taking a dip in the pool at the end of the day.

They kindly accepted to postpone my reservation to a later night since I and my family were behind our schedule. Rooms are basic but very clean, pleasant and spacious. Beds and mattresses are very comfortable. They have a nice small pool and jaquzi. The free wine/beer voucher at a local liquor store was a bonus that I couldn't ignore.

Large room. Clean. Continental breakfast was appreciated. Free beer and wine tasting nearby with stay.

This place offered my buddies and I everything we needed for and awesome getaway. Fast Wifi, Refreshing Salt Water Pool, Hot Breakfast, and Green Certified. I think they just remodeled the Lobby and breakfast room, which turned out to be a great place to meet and talk with other guests while having breakfast in the morning. Fresh baked Chocolate-Chip Cookies in the evening's and you can tell the staff really enjoys their jobs. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of and knew which trails were going to be the best for my buddies and I to hike and ride our mountain bikes. Hats off to the Casa Ojai for going above and beyond! Sincerely, Stan and Friends.

Lovely clean, spacious rooms, friendly staff, picturesque area, superb pool and hot tub, excellent value for money would highly recommend.

Breakfast was SO disappointing. I'd rather have them say they don't have any breakfast than having the breakfast they had to offer. The rest of the stay was fine.

The reviews for this hotel are dated and inaccurate. The internet does not work and the staff can't fix it. When I tried to cancel the remaining days of my reservation because of this, I was told that there was a 48 hour cancellation policy. 48 HOURS! When I asked what the penalty was for early cancellation before 48 hours, I was told it was the actual cost of the rooms (naturally). There are better and more professional hotels with better facilities in Ojai. I won't stay here again.

Service was spectacular. We were treated like family. Fresh-baked cookies await as you check in (and they don't mind you coming back for more! ). There's a nice continental breakfast set up each morning by the pool with croissants, bagels, muffins, cereal and an assortment of teas and other beverages. The pool was well-heated. The room was clean with modern decor and free Wi-Fi. There's also a mini-fridge in the room and a microwave for use at the front desk. They even gave us a late check out. The location is great — in walking distance from several restaurants and downtown Ojai. We'll definitely be coming back.

My wife, 16 month old daughter, and I stayed at the Casa Ojai from 12/25/09-1/24/10. It was a wonderful experience. First of all — the rooms were great — Big, comfortable and tastefully done. Housekeeping did a fantastic job especially considering we have a 16 month daughter who keeps unusual hours for a child and likes to make messes like kids do. Also a bonus for us is that they clean the rooms with ionized water which cleans very well and has no toxic smell to it. In a word the entire staff was amazing. Completely accommodating, professional, knowledgeable about the area, and really nice people to boot. We would happily stay there again.

I've stayed here twice while visiting family in the area. It's clean, quiet, modestly but well decorated, and within a half mile of downtown (i. E. Walkable, but not in the middle of everything). More of a motor inn than a hotel; if you are looking for luxury amenities, there are other places to stay in Ojai (and they'll cost you! ). I would stay there again.
