Perfect getaway! Ojai landscapes are spectacular example of California coastal hills — low key rambling, rustic. The Inn is in perfect location in walkable downtown Ojai. Best pool with delicious poolside cocktails. Try my favorite — the Ojai Spritzer or their kombucha, then purchase a sack of soaking clay & salt from the inn’s luxe convenience store in lobby. Mix it all together & surrender to bliss in your room’s personal jacuzzi. The next morning sleep in, then head to Beacon coffee to join friendly Ojai locals in their habitat. Right next door is Cattywampus — a little bit of the best of everything: jewelry, clothing, shoes, books, albums, yarn — a textile junkie’s heaven. Coolest haptic shopping experience! On Sunday head to the farmer’s market and sample fresh produce. Leave town feeling restored by all of the good vibes!

Amazing. Simply amazing. As camp hosts at wheeler gorge campground, relaxation in a jetted tub is a must every now and then. Staff was professional, courteous and helpful. Will definitely make this a monthly day off.

Beautiful getaway with a great laid back atmosphere. Love "Chiefs Peak" their little bar. Walking distance to downtown Ojai. Ojai's little jewel!

Great & easy weekend getaway from LA. Room was clean and had a jacuzzi tub. Pool area was relaxing. Chiefs bar was laid back, perfect place for a drink. Best of all, it is pet friendly!

Absolutely adored this place — we stayed two nights and didn’t want to leave. There’s a little bar that you can visit as a non-resident and a shop next to reception but definitely worth staying if you can. Loved the little kitchen and sitting out on our porch in the evening.

Even with the curtains open, the room is dark with poor lighting. Very basic motel with no frills. The room was clean.

I was on a day trip to Ojai and decided to drop by and check chief’s peak bar out. The bartender Camille was very friendly and helpful. The drink and beer options were great. The music was very unique and calming even though I was loud like usual. Later we hung out by the pool and played some corn hole in their open space. They also have Bocce ball. It was fun. Good spot for a brew.

Love this place, can't wait for the next trip here! Jacuzzi room is great! The staff is awesome, especially Sheila! Do yourself a favor and enjoy a quiet escape here!

The Chief's Peak bar / hangout area is one of my favorite in Ojai. It has a great atmosphere, great people, and is al ays a wonderful place to go hangout with friends.

They have a great bar here, it's a super intimate and friendly hike in the wall. Parking is difficult unless you have a room for the night.

Hope everyone is safe. Stayed here a couple of years back and loved it. Sad to see the fires threatening beautiful Ojai and surrounding areas.

Last time we stayed here was 2010. It was charming then, but I got to say, I really like what they’ve done with the place. Pool area has been upgraded quite nicely with games like beanbag madness and bocce ball and a fire pit, along with plenty of picnic space. Chief’s Peak is a little too convenient of an on-site beer and wine bar (with local libations. ) the Topa Topa IPA is delich, and has a charming little patio area that connects the pool. Overall we had a great family friendly experience, though the rooms are on the cozy side as far as space. Staff was great.

Lovely place! Clean and cute rooms. Very friendly staff. Great location in Ojai near just about everything. And the poolside bar is a gem.

We had a wonderful time here staying a couple of days on a tour of California. Rooms were comfortable and well designed. The small bar on the property was the definition of cozy with a small but smart selection of wine and beer. Staff were great, whole property was clean. Will return again next time I am in the Ojai area.

Well decorated and curated boutique "motel" centrally located in Ojai. Close to everything, bikes available and right next to a nice bike path. Huge pool, and some rooms have jacuzzis in them as well. Reasonably priced. Fell in love with this place. Book ahead as weekend can sell out!

Great little bar with a good selection on draft and a pool for the kids to play in while you take your time over a drink and listen to the excellent soundtrack. Must visit in ojai.

Chic, hipster, rustic, whatever. This place turns the motel style into something fun and stylish. Prices are incredibly reasonable and rooms glow with the Ojai vibe. Big plus for the pool, grounds, and hotel bar.

After living in Ojai for more than a decade and watching this place languish, it's wonderful to see it completely redone and revitalized by Shelter Social Club. Perfectly appointed with a modern slant yet still tied to its past, this is our new favorite place to stay whenever coming back to Ojai for a visit. Chief's Peak wine tasting room and the pool, in addition the very comfy rooms, make this a perfect retreat for a couple of nights or a longer stay.

Relatively inexpensive getaway. Room with king bed, hot tub, nice decor and good lighting. Good bar on premises.

Had to report this hotel because the illegal alien mexi cleaning females would bring a bunch of young kids around 10 years old to do all their work for them cleaning the windows in the back, wiping down nasty rooms, and doing child labor tasks that are simply immoral and not acceptable here. They do have enjoyable music for free in the summers but watch your kids around the parental child abductors with their new child abusing sex buddies.

I love this place. Ive only stayed here once but I frequent the pool and bar! They have cornhole too.

Loved staying at rancho inn. It's within walking distance to some of the best restaurants in the area. The inn itself is really cool as well. Loved the little beer and wine bar at the pool :)

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable room with free Wi-Fi and loaner bicycles. Pleasant pool area with a happy little bar. The place was quiet and clean. Highly recommended if that's what you're looking for.

I have never stayed at the hotel, but I have had a number of glasses of wine at the bar. Great vibe, cool mix of locals and visitors. Good selection of wine and beer, follow them on social media to see when food trucks and special events are going on. Always good fun. Once a year they throw a holiday makers event called Deck the Halls, once a month their is Folk Steady with acoustic music and during the summer they have food truck a couple times a month, Jolly Oyster and some others. Always really fun.

This place is magical. The interiors are charming and perfectly appointed, the little bar has a great view and tasty wine, the staff is friendly and will tell you all about Ojai. Ride the hotel bikes, too!

At first glance I felt ripped off. But that was before I came into my room which was vary well kept and the bed was vary comfortable.

What a beautiful place in a beautiful village! Affordable too.

The Rancho is our favorite place to stay in the Santa Barbara area! They are under new ownership in the last year and I must say that management gets art and culture! They work with local artists to make this place a completely unique experience! They also have hot tubs and all of the modern amenities in the rooms. It is luxury lodging without the luxury price tag.

The rooms are great! They have a western theme, most of them have a jacuzzi tub which me and my fiancee loved! Its soo close to downtown Ojai, and the best part is that they offer you bikes to use while you stay! They had continental breakfast that consisted of waffles, bagels, toast, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, and all that good stuff. I would highly recommend this place if your looking for something affordable and romantic.

BAD EXPERIENCE! Plumbing didn't work correctly in hottub. No hot water in regular shower (control seemed broken). Charged for hot tub anyway. When we complained, we were accused of trying to sneak a pet in (our dog is a 60 lb. Black Lab and our room was un full view of the office). Pool posted "CLOSED" by county though the grounds keeper said we could swim if we wanted to. (YUCK! ).

Not a hotel but more like an old unatended cabin. Entrance door to room would not close properly and very hard to lock, heater did not work, few towels and washtowels available, walls are paper thin and can hear all voices/tv/noices from neighboring walls. Night and day front desk clerks provided no customer service and made one feel unwelcome. Not recommended to anyone.
