This place is amazing with a beautiful view of the bea h right outside your window! this is my 1st time. Highly recommend this place for a getaway.

Great location; between Dana Point and Capistrano — across PCH from Doheny Beach. The rooms are well-furnished and decent sized. The facility is small, which is even better with the Wuhan Plague restrictions. We are not owners, so got put on the back side, facing a dirt cliff with vegetation. The alternative is the ocean view with the traffic and the train, so it's a toss up.

Great location, close to San Clements, Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano and not too bad of a drive to San Diego. Lots of room to stretch out in the unit. Friendly and helpful staff.

Close to the beach and all the amenities of Dana Point. Comfortable rooms. Easy parking.

The rooms were large and had full kitchens and dining room with a large living room. Nice balconies with great views of the ocean. The staff was excellent and checked on us often to make sure we didnt need anything. Santa Clause came to visit on Dec 23 and they provided cookies and hot chocolate and we took pictures with Santa and his elves!

Renovated rooms are really nice and the view is always awesome.

Love the location, but apparently the resort has changed management and have gotten cheap. They skimp on supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, dish washing soap, and even on trash bags. The rooms are comfortable but the floors could be cleaner, and although they have signs everywhere about no pets allowed there are people staying here with their pets. We stay here every year and the previous management kept this place in top shape, it's a shame how things have changed!

Overall a great place to stay. Could use a few maintenance touch ups, a little better cleaning, and a little more supplies to get you started (trash bags, toilet paper, etc. ). Good resources available to enjoy your stay (bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs, etc. ).

Very friendly, helpful staff. Well maintained property. Excellent value. Well organized. We knew the property faces PCH and the Coaster, so that noise was not a surprise. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Free shuttle stops here. Very convenient for the ferry to Catalina, which was our purpose. Lovely sunsets from the balcony.

I've stayed here a number of times as my parents have a time share here. The accommodations are above average, and the location is right across the street from the beach. They have bikes and boogie boards. A great life to spend a couple days if you're in the area.

I absolutely love this place. I waited years to buy timeshare and I’m so glad I chose this place. The staff is always sob nice and friendly and the rooms are beautiful. I can’t wait to wake up each morning to this beautiful ocean view watching the waves crash against the rocks.

Our check in person Kim was the friendliest and most helpful associate I have ever encountered she's a A+! ☺The condo was nice n clean and roomy stocked with everything we needed. The only thing I didn't like was check out at 10:00 am but would definitely stay there again.

Just spent a week with my sister at the Surfside! Clean and well stocked. Close to the beach, and the pool was very clean. Love the "borrowable" beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes, etc. We came on a timeshare and were surprised that when we requested linen replacement we had to remake the beds ourselves! Never had that happen before at other resorts! Also found a bowl of moldy beans in the microwave! The staff members that we talked to weren't too helpful as to where we could find good restaurants. I think some literature about local restaurants would be helpful. One last thing … we were in unit 210 and the floodlight in the parking lot next door shone in the side windows and made sleeping a little difficult. Window shades or drapes that can be closed would have been great! All of that being said … The Surfside Inn was an above average resort and if I return to the area I would stay there again.

Perfect for a little get away! Every room has a view of the Ocean. The balcony has a grill. Full kitchen for cooking. The staff is fantastic! Only needed a new sofa sleeper mattress.

My family and I stayed here over the weekend. The staff was very friendly the views were amazing! The amenities were great too! We will Be back again! Kids loved the pool even though it was freezing, and other guest were awesome too! Highly recommend this place!

Room was laid out nice. Very clean and reasonably quiet. The one set-back (which prevented 5 stars) … tiny TV's. Time for bigger screens guys. They cost less than the 27"& 32" you bought back in 2005?

Dirty un-maintained room facing a hill in short range. Vents were filthy, top of fan not dusted, furniture dated (compared to ocean side rooms), side of refrigerator delaminating, staff taking very long breaks talking to each other and on the phone in "owners lounge" to the point I couldn't work on my PC, ceiling issues, and dirty floors. Cat urine smell also. I did ask to be moved but they said there were no rooms available, even though there were. Pics attached. I'm embarrassed for them. Their ocean view rooms are lovely. But they should close down the rooms facing the hill until they can remodel. I got sick in that hillside room and it could be a coincidence or maybe the dishes weren't quite washed. I'll never know on that one.

Small, quaint Timeshare complex. All year round heated pool, friendly staff with some newly remodeled rooms that included granite countertops, ceramic tile floors, and extremely large shower/bathtubs. Right across the street from the beach in a great location… and 2 short minutes drive to Dana Point Wharf with some great dining, and quaint shops. Disney was only 25-30 away up North… and Rose Parade was just over an hour.

Home away from home. Always a pleasure. Can't beat the location on Capistrano Bight and the hot tub is always welcoming.

The staff is nice and accommodative 24/7. The place is a little old but it gets the job done. I would call it cozy hot tubs in the rooms are Plus.

I LOVED IT HERE! All the rooms are very well taken care of, there are no bugs, unlike what I have seen at some hotels, they have a heated spa pool and a heated normal swimming pool, the Wi-Fi speeds are Fast varying from 20 to 22 mbs for download and varying between 10 and 13 mbs for upload! There is a nice view of the beach from the rooms I stayed in, and you can even go down and walk or play a the beach across the street!

Love Capistrano Surfside Inn! The staff is very friendly and it is a great location! We love walking the beach, riding bikes, beach bonfires, and spending time at Doheny Beach and Park.

Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Location is ideal. VIEW horrible. Unless you get an ocean view you will be looking at the face of a cliff about 20 feet away. They say mountain view. The only way to see sky is to stand at the edge of balcony and look up. If you were coming for a relaxing vacation, sitting on a balcony looking at the ocean, BEWARE. Staff holding ocean rooms for owners of Surfside who MAY show up. GPX are not considered owners.

Always a terrific experience at Capo Surfside. Amanda went out of her way at check in when there was to be a wait. That was greatly appreciated.

The staff were exemplary. Very attentive, responsive, and motivated. Wade was especially helpful. They have activities, they have beach chairs, boards, bikes for free. A nice lounge with a pool table, card table, we we're very comfortable. Capistrano Inn is an older Inn owned by timesharers. Needs upgrading but still everything was in fine condition. We had the 2 bd, 1 bath plus sofa bed. Balcony was refreshing and private. The pool was decent. All very nice.

It may be small but it's personal charm is wonderful and comfortable… The resort staff has to be probably the most friendliest and helpful I have experienced in my many travels… If you ever get a chance to visit the resort ask for Cheryl, she wears a few hat's at Capistrano Surfside Resort, she definitely made our stay one of the most enjoyable memorable stays ever. Highly recommend The Capistrano Surfside Inn.

Great location and very nice accommodations.

Our stay was great. The desk staff is excellent: knowledgeable and friendly. The trolley that picks you up outside the Inn was the best. The room was fine. I would suggest better, healthier food options for the orientation meeting, though! Maybe fresh fruit and juice?

This was a great place to stay if you are looking for somewhere not in LA or San Diego but right in the middle between the two. My family and I had a great vacation for 8 days that included trips to San Diego and Anaheim for Disneyland. It was an amazing trip and staying at the Capistrano Surfside Inn made it even better. First of all the best thing was the staff, everyone we met had a smile and were always willing to help. They were very knowledgeable about the area and were always willing to lend a helping hand to ensure our great stay. They had a big room with a pool table and couches and a TV where we could hang out as a family and watch football or movies and do other things. Their pool and hot-tub were great amenities as well that allowed for a fun and relaxing time. Another great feature about this hotel is that it is just a short walk from the beach. They are across the street from a great beach area that allowed for a fun walk, boogie boarding, or sand castle building. The hotel supplied everything from bikes to boogie boards to sand castle building materials to helmets. I have been to a lot of places with my RCI membership and I can honestly say this was one of the best!

The location is great for a southern California vacation, couples or a family. A pool and easy beach access make it even better. The staff is friendly and helpful.
