Employees were friendly and the rooms were clean. There is a Safeway across the parking lot which is convenient.

Staff was great! Seems there was low budget because there were very few towels, the hot water was only tepid (barely warm), pool was closed for repairs, among other things. The Jacuzzi suite was merely a garden tub with jets. What makes this sad was this was their best room, the "honeymoon suite. " Although it looks very nice, I can tell it has been a while since this hotel has had an owner that cared. Because of this, I'm certain this hotel won't be open much longer, and I pray the staff have new jobs waiting.

If you are a connoisseur of skuzzy motels this place is for you. Every fabric that can't be bleached is stained, there was someone else's hair in my sink, and there were strange wall stains. All in all gnarly but only $40.

Have stayed here a number of times on trips from California to Texas. Have been pleased. They allow our 2 little dogs to stay.

Driving from El Paso, TX to San Diego, CA My husband and our four year old son stopped to rest for the night. We paid $66 total, very clean and comfortable king size bed for the three of us, nice receptionist at 1am, hot water, free Wi-Fi, heater in our room, free breakfast, I really loved what I got for what I paid.

First, I stayed Saturday 10/17/15 and checked out 10/18/15 at the Quality Inn, 1100 W. Rex Allen Dr, Willcox, AZ. This hotel was the supposed preferred hotel for the State Dog Competition. I found it to be more of a seedy flea-bag motel. First, you should know that I booked my room well in advanced on 9/30, my confirmation # was 423577671. I called twice to confirm my reservation and to request a bottom floor room, non-smoking room far from any of the smoking rooms as I have problems with cigarette smoke. When I arrived, I was told that my room wasn't ready, I was about an hour early. I said, I could wait, but the manager, Shane, said that he had another room on the 2nd floor available. I decided to take it. So we lugged all of our luggage up the stairs (no elevator-I have bad knees) only to find out that our room key didn't work. So back down to the front desk we went. The manager re-programmed the keys and walked us to the room and opened the door (room 243). We were going to rest some before we had to head out again, but upon pulling back the bed covers I discovered bugs. Some dead, some alive, some skeletons, and the most disgusting of all, larvae. I scooped some of them into a cup, collected all of our things and went back to front desk. The lady there apologized and said that the rooms had been closed up for awhile so no one had checked them. But come on, LARVAE? So I told her I would wait for a clean room.

The desk clerk was friendly when checking in! The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows and the room was clean. However, the smoke alarm was just hanging, so I'm glad there was not a fire. The toilet flushed very slowly and at midnight, we had to call the front desk, because it wouldn't flush properly. They brought us a plunger! My husband finally took care of it and when I informed the desk clerk the next morning when checking out, he said "so, did you take care of it? "! Really?!? There were no amenities — not even hand soap! I had to go to the front desk and ask for some! Also, we killed a mosquito, some kind of black bug and I saw a small roach in the bathroom! I have stayed here in the past and haven't had any problems. This hotel seems to be going downhill! I will never stay there again!

Stayed the night here, staff was very friendly. Thank you Shane for the hospitality, room was comfortable and breakfast was pretty good.

In the last couple of weeks, I have seen a great amount of improvement at the hotel. The staff and the quality of customer service has improved a great deal. Rooms are very clean and breakfast is wonderful!

We will never stay here again as we travel cross country. Positives: the sheets and towels were clean. Negatives: Carpet wasn't vacuumed. My mother-in-law saw cockroaches in her room. The bedspread had unknown stuff on it. We had stayed in another Quality Inn the night before in Texas so we thought this one would be ok. Unless they do some major cleaning, don't stay there.

I will never willingly stay here again. One word describes the ambiance of this room… dusty. Dropped a wine cork and it rolled by the headboard and I went to pick it up and it was covered with dust. In plain sight by the headboard was about a centimeter thick layer of dust. You can tell they never throughly clean this place not even once every month or six. Do not wear white socks while walking in the room as they will no longer be white socks. Why the extra small fitted sheets on the mattress… they don't fit. They only come down the side of the mattress about less than an inch, so of course any movement on the bed and the sheet comes off and now I'm laying on the surface of the mattress with what appears to be blood stains. Just eww. Another disgusting thing would be how dirty the washcloths were. They were stained with red spots. Can't imagine what the hell it is. For 146 dollars for the two nights I stayed here I think sleeping in my car would have been better.

If you're ever in Wilcox AZ DO NOT STAY here. The rooms are disgusting the service doesn't exist and the breakfast people literally throw your plate of food at you. There are piles of food crumbs in every nook, cranny, crease and corner of the room. The sheets have old stains on them, the floor shows every spill. AVOID this place. We didn't have soap and shampoo and the front desk person went to the dollar store and bought us some… after the third time I asked! The shower mat was covered in hair! The room didn't have coffee and after multiple times asking it never arrived so I bought my own. People sitting on chairs outside their rooms drinking beer my wife and I didn't feel safe. Never again!

When I checked in, I asked the desk clerk about local restaurants, her reply was stunning, she said "Oh I don't know, I've lived here all of my life but I don't know much about the town". I then asked about some places that I found on the internet, again her response blew me away with "no I think they all closed". Funny, I eventually had dinner in one of them. The first room that the desk clerk put me in was not made up. Most of my negative comments stem from that experience When I went back to the desk, the clerk blurted out "oh I hate our housekeepers". I found my second room by process of elimination as the room number was missing. The room was adequate for my purposes with the exception of the "high speed internet" which I could never link to despite several access points. Fortunately for me, I carry my own "hot spot" and was able to use the internet to conduct my business. When I returned to the hotel after an eventful day, I had my hands full and was barely able to work the door. Unfortunately, BOTH key cards did not work and I had to set everything down, walk to the front desk and get my key cards reset. Finally, when I checked out, a very pleasant little old lady was apologetic and told me that they were having problems with the housekeeping staff. When I said that I planned to respond in the negative to this survey, she again apologized and encouraged me to do just that.

The Manager Christina is top notch. Wish the others had managers like her.
