I love that its pet friendly and also the room is very nice and clean smells great and. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I stayed in a red roof inn when I went to Chicago and that was also a pleasant experience. I highly recommend it. Ty for a very nice stay for us especially for Yuri hes made new friends.

Someone tried to open my sister's door at 3am and when she called the front desk the woman who answered said he went to the wrong room. Why would he be going in any room at 3am in the first place then they charged her for the whole time she was scheduled to stay there even though she checked out that morning not feeling safe there anymore. Place is sketchy don't recommend.

The rooms are clean, and nice. The staff have been kind and attentive to all questions and concerns. No complaints there. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is the 3rd floor elevator well smells like sewage, and there never seems to be any coffee… when addressed the staff did replace the coffee, and the area had been attempted to be cleaned. Basically, you get what you pay for. It's not bad for the price.

Stayed here a week while looking for homes to rent. Didn't see a single bug in the room, and room service was on point. Thanks to Patricia that is. She was awesome. The only thing that bothered me, which is out of their control, is the type of people that stay on the weekends here. Totally different crowd that look as though they're really "using" the rooms. Other than that, it was a nice little place to stay while we found a permanent home in the area. Plus they let our great pyrenees stay too, and that was super important.

Worst place ever stopped at with the most disgusting cockroach issue I've ever been exposed to in my lifetime. To top it off they did absolutely nothing to accommodate the situation only refunding back what we paid to get in which was unacceptable.

This is a great choice if you have to stay in a hotel as the rooms are clean, nice staff, it’s easy to get to for the location. The staff go over and beyond to help with your needs and will accommodate your stay making sure your needs are meet. A great plus if you have a pet they can stay too free of charge. Very courteous and nice staff.

If you rent a room on line and pay online then you have to pay a 50.00 deposite. The bed was very uncomfortable. The pillows were hard as a rock. There were only 2 towels and 1 wash cloth. I asked for extra towels and the night desk women said that is all we put in the rooms. There was baby toys under the bed and big chunks of dust. And last but not least the night time representative is to busy playing and talking on her phone and is very rude. I could say more but won't be staying here again.

Fido friendly as always. Has a green grass area for pets which is hard to find in Arizona. Clean rooms and comfortable. The only problem I had was the clerk at check in said the only room left was the most expensive room. Then found out that she had already gave that last expensive room out and had to give me a lower priced room which just appeared out of thin air. I am a redicard member and this upset me a little. So recommend booking online so you can avoid this situation.

Very polite and friendly staff. Pet friendly which was most important to me. Disappointed no micro or fridge in room. Room was clean, surroundings felt safe, cost and location worked for my situation.

The location is okay a bit noisy but it's easy to look past that. There's alot near by like pizza, Denny's, a grocery store. Definitely check out the little movie theater. As far as rooms go, pay the extra bit for a deluxe room. You get an iron, iron board, hair dryer, fridge and microwave. Staff are nice.

Very nice and honest staff. Good on price and clean rooms. Best thing is that it's right off the freeway and is easy to get too a lot of food places nearby as well. Clean rooms best thing ever no bed bugs. Great on prices and over all decent place to stay. The staff were very nice. Would stay again especially for the price cleanliness and staff.

Pros: Roof over head, staff was nice. Cons: WOULD NOT accept cash, no breakfast, 50" wide queen beds, no in-room coffee, no refrigerator, thin pillows, pocket size Kleenex, two towels for two queens, no shampoo/conditioner, no hair dryer, 31" TV, charged $1.50 for safe I did not use — per night, floor ice maker out of service. Each night: Fri/sat rate — $202.62. Sun/mon rate $124.38. Tues rate — $151.95 or GT — 5 days, $805.95. I complained about hair dryer and finally received one when I told them I was checking out if not provided. My brother had passed away. I was at their mercy. Apparently, area activities had raised the price of all motels.

Very close to the highway so very noisy. Rooms are not made every day. No service, no breakfast. To avoid.

Would not recommend. Only had a bath towel, no hand towel or wash cloth. Plunger and toilet brush in plastic shopping bag in front of toilet. Bathroom ammenities scarce, no hair dryer. Bedside table drawer had sticky substance on it when pulled out. They do not offer breakfast.

Granted, the price was below $100/night, but I thought that Red Roof had a good reputation. Stayed for 4 nights. Two of those days, housekeeping did not come in. The first day, they came in at 830am as we did not have a do-not-disturb door hanger at all. After waking us up, and getting upset with us, she didn't bother coming back that day. Water tasted bad, too. Don't know if it is the Phoenix water, or it is their water filtration system (or lack there of). Oh, and no continental breakfast.

This hotel was good for the price. Only thing was housekeeping 2 of the days they only made one bed out of two and the second to last no house keeping at all! Weird pool was heated so even though it was 60ish pool was nice and warm.

The facilities are deteriorated, old furniture.

This place is terrible. In a run-down neighborhood, with businesses boarded up and now just eyesores, tons of semis parked all over, and very few families. Inside, there are scratches all over the walls and chairs, stains on the counter undersides, and that's just the lobby. In the rooms, attempts to update are seen, but incomplete. The bathtubs are not refurbished — just covered with a tub mat to hide stains. The beds have the typically nasty-looking coverspreads that need to be retired along with their brethren from the 80s. "Double deluxe" rooms are the ONLY ones that have a refrigerator and microwave (which are stacked on each other like a college dorm room). The TVs are literally bolted on the top of a very, very low dresser, making them far too low to view even when lying down in the bed. Nice laundry area on my floor, but the ice machine was broken the entire time I was there (5 days) so it's obviously never going to be repaired, which requires going to either floor 3 or the lobby. Nice clean pool, but no breakfast at all and the nearest convenience store is at least 45 minutes down the street, if going on foot. Overall, a very disappointing experience. Not recommended, at all.

I have been staying here once a week for several months because of my work. The front desk staff is worth their weight in gold, always friendly and helpful, the rooms are always clean and comfortable and I love the shower (they have soft water here). They also have coffee in the lobby as well. Thanks for the many nights rest.

Barely a 2 star rating. Probably should be a 1 star. The room smelled of wet dog. The windows are dirty. The "handicap" room has a bathtub (should be a walk in shower). NO microwave oven. NO refrigerator. NO coffee pot. NO hair dryer. I at least get those things in Motel 6! BUT it had an in-room SAFE… what does that tell you? Handicap rooms are only on the FREEWAY (noisy) side. Moderately clean. Stairwell was very dirty. NO complementary breakfast… nothing but coffee. All of this (and no more) for $150 a night… what a bargain!

Comfortable beds and pillows. Good water pressure in shower. Friendly Service. Don't expect much more. Good cheap hotel if you just need a place to sleep.

The staff was nice. The coffee was hot. The coffee supplies were plenty. The room was clean. They accept my pet.

Good value, good location, clean & safe, and you get a 15% discount at the Sports Bar next door, and that place has good food.

This place is just plain dirty! First room smelled like someone just had a marijuana party! 2nd room, Trash still beside the bed, table was nasty. Hallway floors were disgusting. Stairs smelled of urine as did all around the building. BED BUGS! THE ROOMS ON THE 3RD FLOOR HAD BED BUGS! This place needs new managment and house keeping! Only nice employee was an older lady that worked mornings, everyone else was rude!

Linda at the front desk was so kind and pleasant and happy to help us with everything we needed. Room was perfect for our stay.

Great check in and out service! Staff was very friendly however the beds are somewhat uncomfortable in the double full size rooms. I always stay at the Red Roof Inn, but in the king room which is amazing always. I'm never dissapointed.

Came to find a home. Quiet rooms. They do have a fridge and microwave. Rooms aren't bad.

Friendly staff. Besides the security lady was a little too serious about her job. I understand her job being a job that has to be taken seriously but not as serious as she was.

Went to visit relative. Room was clean, landscaping was nice. Pets are allowed. Pleasant atmosphere.

Room was not so clean as good be. Seems they forgot to sweep the floor. Bed was comfortable. TV worked. I would give Red Roof another visit.

I was only there to briefly visit a friend and help him check in and bring his luggage inside but I was surprised to see just how messy the room was. He had only just checked in and it practically looked as though the sheets hadn't been changed, but only made up quickly after the previous guest checked out. There was still garbage in one of the trash receptacles. The mirror in the bathroom needed to be cleaned with glass cleaner. And the door to the room itself was damaged, it appeared as though someone had kicked the door in before — the wood around the lock was splintered and hastily screwed together again and the door fit poorly in the frame, you really had to push hard just to get the door to close all the way. It was inexpensive and quiet, and he said there were no bedbugs and the staff was courteous, but I personally wouldn't go there myself.

Not a bad stay. Had hotel security making rounds. Our room/bathroom had hair around that was not ours also the bath tub needed serious drain unclogging. This held a lot of dirt in the tub so that was also not the cleanest looking. Great staff.

I do not think this place even deserves 1 star. The staff does not have a clue what customer service is. Me and my spouse moved to phoenix due to jobs and have stayed in this hotel for 3 weeks. Our keys are always going off so we are not able to get in. The front desk staff doesnt ever know what is going on. When you mention something to them the same excuse they cant do anything about it. The maids are very rude even cussed at my children. Dogs running the hall unattended and the one time mine gets out 4 steps they are calling me repeatably and knocking on my door. They have no breakfast the carpets are all stained and dirty the elevator is disgusting. Tons of druggies and prostitutes and even drug dealers. When me and my kids went to the pool people were opening their curtains taking pictures I would not tell anyone to stay here. We are moving to another hotel this week.

This hotel is exactly what everyone says it is. It was dirty and needed cleaning. You have to walk through a group of ppl outside the entrance to check in or to even go to your car. Smells like smoke heavy in the hotel and dog poop and trash through out the grass. This was more an apartment experience. It was not hotel service. What made me walk out a day early is that room service cleaned my room and made my bed. I pulled my sheets back and the sheets were the same sheets that I slept on the previous night on both beds. I know that because there two blank dirt marks on the shirts. The same for the pillow case. I wouldn't stay here again. Better yet I would bring the family there. It's not that type of hotel for your family. My advice to you is do not go!

No deposit! :) Nice beds. Night shift front desk was very sweet and helpful. No refrigerator in room : ( Pretty good hotel but a bit pricey. When I was checking out, I found an awesome ore by my car! The highlight of the stay! :)

Rooms are ok. Bad location. There's not enough camera for security. Prostitution is heavy and drug dealing. Fights break out in the parkinglot. This all happened within a week. There's a security guard there but sits on his but and just let's it happen. Don't go here go somewhere else.

My partner and I get out at least 1 once or twice a month to the same Red Roof Inn Phx N is a great feeling to feel the alone loneness relax Calm wind down timewith the love of my life. We get away because me have 4 adults living with us 1 is my daughter age 26 + her boyfriendage3 2nd Female is the sister of my partner great and relaxing because we have room mates that is peer pressure 2 females, 2 males 1 child My grandson 8yrs old To much drama that invaded our quite home and my partner carries the whole household besides my Daughter she works we pay every thing and watch our home get rundown because nobody cleans or cooks so now you got the facts why my partner and I get a Red Roof Inn room to get away from the drama we r going to get away every chance we get.

This is not a dirty hotel, it is just an older hotel, a remodel would not hurt, but it is not a bad place to stay. I have stayed many times over the last few months and my rooms were always clean, and the staff was polite and efficient. I will stay here again.

All is well there. The rooms are clean and the people who work here are professional.

Would give negative five stars if I could. Dont even waste your time here for the price, this place is an absolute ripoff. The first room we checked into, WE FOUND LICE TREATMENT BOTTLES UNDER THE BED, the rooms A/C did not work and it smelled terrible. They upgraded us which was nice but the fridge smelled like death, the bathroom was really dirty, the sheets had stains, and the floors were so greasy I coupdnt walk without shoes or socks. I really dont want to admit it to myself, but im pretty sure I was BIT BY BED BUGS!, I have tons of tiny bite marks all over, I hope I don't get sick… The whole place is really dirty and grimey looking. This location and employees are a complete joke, the manager Nathan is a complete egotistical jerk that was more than offensive to us, having ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. Jose, I think a manager tried coming into our room with giving us no time to answer the door, HE BARGED IN OUTR ROOM WITH A PRIVACY SIGN ON, then screamed at us to get out because of a misunderstanding on a desk clerks behalf, which was never resolved by management OR CORPORATE. They literally tried barging in our room and were screaming at us like we were some free loaders or tweakers. Which by the way the place is full of tweakers and druggies, and prostitutes. After having to pay for a night we thought we already payed for with zero customer service, they told us that we couldn't extend our stay any longer because Nathan was butthurt and said my boyfriend was "rude".

Grounds were dirty and unkept, garbage all over. Pool was empty and dirty. Room was dirty, hair on toilet and shower. Asked for new sheets because of red stain. Asked for room to be re-cleaned because of dirt. Maintenance man came and said he would do his best. Tried to check out and get refund but they would not give money back. People next to us checked out in 15 minutes and people on other side said they went to Walmart and bought own bedding and also loaned us some lysol.

Staff was nice, but you definitely get what you pay for. It's not the Ritz by any means. This place needs major overhaul. Good location. Close to everything. Booked it for the value. Brought the kids out for Spring Training, it served its purpose. S. S. S!

1-Worker threatened to kick my wife out of the hotel acussing her of trying to prop open a door when she was removing a rock that someone else put there. Did not even care to be professional about it just straight to accusations. Then walked right past a homeless man sitting on a bench smoking near the door. 2 — Room: stains on the floor. Dirt and stuff on walls. Sheets had stains on them. Shower drained slow enough that I was standing in a puddle while showering. A couple of light fixtures needed a light tap of a finger to turn on. 3 — I believe her name was Shantae… she was professional and courteous from check in to check out. Called the front desk for assistance and was pleasant over the phone and was willing to help out.

For $100 bucks a night this place was bad. No in room coffee, no mini fridge, no continental breakfast, no facial tissue … but a tiny packet, but there was a safe… that cost to use. That does indicate the area we are in according to a hotel worker. The Hotel needs renovation, which is on going. Booking through a travel company is cheaper, but we were in a situation where that was not possible. I would not spend full price on this hotel.

Room was located at one of the entrances and there was only a lot of noise. Walls very thin heard children crying and a lot of noise from neighbours, outside, and people who entranba. The quantum was dirty and the sobrecamas stained. You need more maintenance.

Dirty to say the least. All you see is bums and drug addicts walking around. The room was dirty and the staff not very friendly. They need to do something about all the scum walking around loitering. Felt like we had to constantly watch our belongings so they wouldn't get stolen.

Worst hotel experience ever! Every piece of furniture covered in filth and grime. Every sheet and pillowcase on my bed had stains all over them including blood stains. The hallways smelled nasty. Prostitutes walking the halls all hours of the night. Complained to manager the next day who said she would not charge us for the day and that we can gather our things and leave. Upon turning in keys she hands me a receipt charging two days and says we knew the cancellation policy. What a liar!

Nice place. Check-in was fast and easy and the room was clean and quiet. Worked for me.

The cleaning staff was very outstanding far as the coffe area need more attention if need any think you have to ask them. This should be kept up without having to ask.

The room was decent, but customer service HORRIBLE. I stayed at the 17222 N Black Canyon Hwy, Phoenix, AZ location on Saturday, November 7th. I was in room 335. We checked out and a few hours later I called to let them know that I left behind a cardigan sweater, it was my boyfriends. They said no maid had turned it in. I called back a day later, and still no sweater. It was left lying on top of the table in the room, so unless the maids threw it out, or stole it, I can not see it disappearing into thin air. They weren't very helpful when I called in the first place. I really would like the sweater back. When I tried to talk to the clerk, she acted like I was an inconvenience to her.

Had asked for a handicap room because of an old Achilles injury that was flaring up. I am sure glad I didn't have a more serious handicap. The room was FILTHY! An inspection before check in would have been appropriate especially because it was a handicapped room. I was capable but I would have thought if they are advertising handicap accessible rooms there should be an automatic door button on the main entrance to the building! Cleaning staff needs to be retrained & the head housekeeper and manager should conduct inspections! Had stayed in a Red Roof a few years back (different location in Phoenix) and had a %100 better experience.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed! The backdoor kept propped open by rocks from non — paying residents coming in and our all hours of the day and night … druggies and prostitutes occupied. Dirty beds… carpet is in need of a deep cleaning. The whole place needs cleaning… the windows in the lobby are disgusting. … we had to go out and buy our own pillows and sprayed disfectant… we had to wipe down with sanitizing wipes the headboards, tub, walls and windows… worst experience … they should thank the young man who checked us in — very positive customer skills. This place doesn't deserve him… he should be employed elsewhere… don't stay here! Red Roof hasn't heard the end of me!

DON'T DO IT! Bed bugs and what looked to be black mold in bathroom near exhaust vent. Dont know how in the hell they can rent rooms. Can anyone there say Eco lab?

Bed bugs I got bit alot dont pay for a room here they wouldnt refund my money I showed them the bites they said they would check into it dont stay here.

Never had a bad experience. Always polite and courteous staff members. Clean rooms. Some odd residents. But overall, the only place I ever stay when I come to phoenix.

Warning! warning! warning! bed bugs! unsanitary rooms! poor service! i had reservations starting 03/23/15. Within 45 minutes of being in my room and resting on my bed, I had 5 visible bug bites and was extremely itchy. I went to the local Walmart and purchased a black light. When going back to the hotel the front desk attendant told me that he would take my black light from me. I told him that he should not do that because I would call his corporate office on the spot. After getting to my room I found exactly what I thought I would. There were small bugs on the mattress and stains on the sheets. The sheets looked like they had not been changed from the previous guest. I went to the front desk and asked to switch rooms. Once in that room I decided to check the beds and found the exact same thing. Needless to say, I went to the front desk and told them that I would not be staying in such an unsanitary environment and would be calling their corporate office for a refund. Stay at your own risk, but be warned.

Absolutely disgusting. Staying here now, if I wasn't traveling with other people staying in other rooms I would get a refund and leave. Both beds' sheets were stained plus about everything else in the room is stained. Called down to the front desk and they gave me a different one which is just the same. The staff is nice but c'mon. Unacceptable for anyone's standards.

My wife works nights nearby, she made a reservation and got approval from the hotel to stay until 5pm on the last day, she paid for a 3 night stay but she got kicked out at 12pm on the second day because it was check out time. She showed them a printout stating that the hotel had approved her staying until 5pm. The manager treated her like crap and asked her to leave because they don't provide extended stay and he did not approved it himself. My wife had to go sleep in the car in a parking lot somewhere before having to go on her night shift. I called the bank and put a stop to the payment. Very old building, while my wife was checking in several guests were at the front desk complaining about things breaking. The room stunk. On the first night her toilet stopped working. Do not recommend, awful management.

All is good when you check in. They told me they will charge me $46.79 per night. I spent 4 nights. On check out night was $59.99 plus taxes!. Dogs are barking all night long. Dog poops everywhere around pool. Pool dirty as hell. o yeah. There was no WI-FI. At all. No discount for that. Drug dealers and bad girls around are 24/7 Will NOT recomend as nice place to stay. Avoid this motel.

Wifi so slow it isn't worth trying. I was told you have to sit in the lobby to use their hotspot.

Looks like a good one but is not really. The showers had hot water. No way to moderate the temperature to cold or mildly warm. Very irritating. The so called NON-SMOKING room did have smoke smell. We had to change the room. The front desk staff wasn't that courteous. The corridors and the room smelled old. Was okay for the price we paid. I wish we had a better experience.

I love this hotel! We've have stayed here 4 times now in the last year and every night has been perfect. The rooms are clean and quiet, (there is no highway noise). The staff is friendly and polite. The hotel is non-smoking and they allow pets free. The rates are also very good.

I was attracted to the rates and reviews. The rates took me by surprise though. Military discount as well. The room is clean, staff were very polite, and location is good. I will recommend this to others.
