Chance was an awesome host. Gave us a map and directions… left fresh eggs and milk along with other goodies… we left our phone and he ran it out to us as we were leaving on the coach at the lodge several miles away without is even asking… the rooms were clean, lots of books and games… his place is awesome!
The Talkeeta Hideaway is perfect if you're looking for a relaxing getaway. The rooms are nice and very clean. The owner, Chance, is super kind. They even have a stocked kitchen that anyone staying there is welcome to use. Where can you find that these days? It's tucked away nicely just walking distance to an amazing little bustling downtown area like none I've ever seen. I definatley reccomend Talkeetna Hideaway as well as Talkeetna, AK!
