Absolutely the worst most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed at, and we stay at alot of hotels while traveling. Sheets were dirty and room smelled like mildew, when telling the owner Wyatt about it and showing him the pictures he assured me they were cleaned just stained… They had no other rooms to change to that night so we burned a vanilla essence candle and was told the next day that they were charging us for smoking in the room, I've never smoked in my life. Bottom line is when I called to book the room I asked how the rooms were compared to the local hotels since it was my girlfriends birthday, they told me that that would be the place they would take their spouse due to how quaint and cozy it was. It was the worst mistake of our hotels choices in history. Lack of customer service, coziness, quaintness, heading everybody else's rooms, then showering and every screaming baby staying there and the rudeness of the child Wyatt (who apparently had the hotel handed down to him) coupled with the ran down and disgusting hotel deserve a big 0 star rating… When we asked him if he really wanted to make this frivolous charge and have us show the pictures and tell the story of his hotels appearance, lack of cleanliness and service that we could go that route. ps. I'm hoping the bites are from mosquitoes that were in the room and not any other bugs but who knows.
Kings landing hotel has been an absolute hot to stay at. The room is clean well taken care of, the employees have been very helpful and it is within walking distance of restaurants, coffee and grocery store. I would stay here again in a flash.

This place was disgusting, everyone around us was super loud at midnight because there’s no quiet hours. We found food under the microwave. Found multiple bugs crawling on us while we were trying to sleep and the sheets looked dirty, we left immediately at midnight. Everywhere in Homer was booked, the best they could do was refund for the night and suggested a place that was 40 minutes away and about $360 a night. I wasn’t going to sleep in that hotel, I would’ve rather have slept in my car. We booked the place past anchor point that was super expensive but much nicer. Wish they would have paid for the next place we stayed considering we had no other option to stay in Homer. Worst experience ever, definitely would not suggest & would never stay here again. Please check your sheet for bugs. Not entirely sure what kind of beetles they were but I’m super allergic to bedbugs & have been to the hospital for it after staying at a friends house that once had them, so I didn’t want to chance it. Found some ink stains which could’ve indicated bed bugs, I just don’t know.
