Very clean rooms — I was especially impressed with the cleanliness of our bathroom. Great location in a well-lit area. Excellent stay for those just passing through and looking for reasonable rates in a good location.

This place is very convenient if you are looking to stay near the galleria for a conference and do not want to pay the high prices of the hotel there. It doesn't have any bells and whistles but if you just need a place to sleep then it will suffice. I was able ro walk to the conference in rge Hyatt at the galleria in 20 minutes. They do gave breakfast. Eggs, sausage, gravy, waffles, bread, bagels and biscuits. It also us across the parking lot from a Panera bread.

Clean and comfortable. Disability access room with roll-in shower. Very nice. Only drawback was AC. It seemed pretty loud and didn't cool the room very well. Otherwise it was great.

The rooms were adequate for a quick, one night stay. Continental breakfast was adequate. It is also located near shops and restaurants.

The hotel could be really nice if it was updated. The rooms where not nice at all. Had a stale smell to the whole place. But, it was extremely cheap and that's why I gave it a 3 star… you get what you pay for.

Typical Days Inn hotel. This one is has an open hall which looks one the road. Many of the other days inn I have visited were mostly closed hotel without open halls. Can be refreshing sometimes. Main road and Riverchase Galleria mall is very nearby. Walking distance, so you won't be bored. Many restaurants including Starbucks and chick file a are within vicinity. Give a try if you are looking for reasonable priced hotels.

Nice, clean place to stay. Good bed. Soft towels, but a little worn. Shower needs a mat because it's a bit slippery. Non-smoking room smelled of cigarette smoke. Got a good rate, so overall I'm satisfied.

Some of the best service I have ever gotten. Between Pinder and Rosy. It can't get any better. The beds are so so comfortable. All of the room I've stayed in a very nice for the price. Make this a sure place to stay if your in the area for sure! Don't listen to the bad reviews.

My stay at this Days Inn was not good! Arriving for a 2 night stay and on the 2nd night awaken about 4:00 am to go to restroom upon noticing that my right arm was severally itching without a resolve to stop. Upon turning light on my arm was full of red blotches. The itch was so severe upon check out I informed the desk of the bits. I was given a business card to call back on Monday. Only to follow up they advised that an exterminator has been called. The final verdict of the exterminator on the return call nothing was found and maybe I had a rash or break out continue stating "No insects of any kind was found. " To my wonder I had to follow up to my doctor and she ask "something has bitten you. " I was offered a free night stay and I'm sorry!

Room had stains on the floor and Charles at the front desk didn't want to give me towels that we're under the counter behind me. Spend the extra money and go across the street somewhere.

The staff was polite and professional. I left a valuable item in my room, called back over 2 hours later, and it was still there. Housekeeping had taken it to the front desk for me to come pick it up.

My room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice and I enjoyed my weekend.

I don’t normally write a critical review but this time feel compelled. The only thing that worked at this property was the acceptance of pets and their closeness to the interstate. Furniture and carpet are stained. Lights in the room either didn’t work or were unplugged. We had to walk our way into a dark room to feel our way to a light that worked. Curtains don’t cover the entire window. We had a bright white light from outside that shown on the wall opposite our bed all night. Remote for TV only turned TV on and off but we couldn’t change channels. Road noise is loud in the rooms. And “free breakfast”? At 6:20 we found the office locked, no breakfast or coffee available. Called the main office and they could not get anyone to answer the phone either. Try someplace else.

Room seemed to be clean but coffeemaker was filthy. Maid was very grumpy and gave me dirty looks which was obnoxious. I was only given one bath towel in room which I thought might be just because I was only one in room. When I left they called me and asked if I took a towel. I would not ever stay here again. Very rude staff and manager.

Staff was very nice and welcoming. Breakfast was pretty good. The rooms were clean except for 3 roaches found. Other than that no bedbugs.

PROS: Clean, good comfy bed and pillows, decent breakfast NEUTRAL: Hotel is under construction but did not seem to bother me during my stay CONS: Paper-thin walls (Can hear every word your neighbors say as if they were in your room with you and this will keep you up at night), Internet did not work at all.

I'm not a fancy person. I stay in low priced hotels all the time. However, this location was a disappointment. The microwave had a plate in it with leftover decaying food in it. The bed had stains on it. I wasn't sure if it had been changed since the last guest or they simply made the bed after they left. The sheets had odd looking stains on them so I ended up just sleeping on top of the made bed. I assumed since my room didn't say smoking that I would have a non-smoking room. I was wrong. You'll want to be careful here. My room smelled awful.

I just got back from evacuating from FLORIDA during Irma. The staff was extraordinary kind and caring. I love the people of Hoover AL! Thank you.

I've stayed at this motel in years past. In most cases, my stay then was good. I most recently stayed in early August of 2017. Half of the motel was levelled & had construction work going on at the front half of it. The pool is no longer there. The continental breakfast is good. The fact that it is located across from the Riverchase Galleria is a plus also. I booked my stay on Priceline & made sure that I paid ahead of time so I wouldn't have to pay upon arrival. Upon checking in, the manager asked for my credit card. When I simply asked a question about it & stated that I already paid, the clerk on duty (Rosie) replied "If you want to check in, I have to swipe your card". The times I stayed before, I never had to do this. I simply wanted to make sure I wasn't going to be double charged. Since I used my debit card, it took around $150.00 from my account, which limited what I could do while I stayed there. Even though it was a "pending" charge & eventually fell off, it was an unexpected inconvenience. If this could have been communicated that this would be done ahead of time, I could have been prepared for that.

Newly renovated — — so new, you can hear the renovations being done after midnight. Equal opportunity employer — — we hire people who have never had customer service experience. Pet friendly — — if you didn't bring yours, we have cockroaches to keep you company.

I have stayed at this hotel many times but not in Room 237 before. It's oversized. You could drive a small car through here without hitting any furniture. Clean and comfortable to go with the extra size… also enjoyed the deck area with grill.

Great location near Riverchase Galleria. Fair price for a clean room with no major problems. If you are looking for very impressive rooms you may want to look elsewhere. But, if you are looking for a good value where you don't have to sacrifice much then look no further.

The hotel was fine; nothing special. It was a clean place to sleep and the price was right for a quick stop on our way to Destin. On the other side the "hot" breakfast in the morning was really bad. They put out cold eggs, sausage patties, and biscuits. We were told by the staff, "we put it out cold so you can warm it to your temperature liking" Well there is only on microwave with 5+ people trying to "warm it to our temperature" so I don't think that is the case. I think they got behind and started putting things out without getting them at least to room temperature.

Room smelled kind of funky at first, but all in all it was a good stay.

Property may be said dated. Staff was cordial and efficient. Room was comfortable. Room ac noisey. Towels really rough. Room cleaning service was excellent. Noise of street traffic as well as noisy. Comp breakfast was good.

What a dump, save yourself and choose another hotel.

One of the front desk staff is rude with a smart mouth, watch out for her. Coffee pots in the rooms are disgusting. Could be a nice hotel, but every time I stay here for work, I wish I had stayed somewhere else.

The guy at desks name is Will. He likes to argue with customers, I think his dad owns the place. I stayed there once a month for 2 years. He wanted to put me in junky room and wouldn't give me rate I had been paying. This place has good rooms on right side of office. The rooms to the left are for prostitutes, truckers, construction workers. Water in pool is green. It's a nasty hotel but cheap.
