Unfortunately, the hotel bar is close by bad weather, Moreover the restaurant had been closed by covid 19 that why hotel co-space with other restaurant (waan la mun). It not good like other sala hotel. For the other just are good not extremely excellent.

We visited for the first time this evening and we were met at the entrance by a really friendly man whom took us up to the roof terrace.
A really lovely space with lovely views over the mountains to watch the sun go down with a good gin and tonic.
We will be back again to visit a bit earlier in the day and perhaps sample the restaurant as well.
The hotel is a very modern building but well designed.
We would definitely recommend the roof top bar for a great chill out experience.

Good oocation. Not so far from Train Station and shopping mall and surrounded by coffee shops and restaurants and a walking distance to local market where you could easily find street food. Very value of money.

The hotel is located in the good area. We can walk to the market by crossing the bridge, the good view restaurant etc. The bed is extremely comfy and the hotel is very quiet at night. Food is good. The best thing about this hotel is “friendly staff” they are nice and professional. The restaurant staff, M, is very nice, enthusiastic and helpful.
We definitely will go back to stay in Sala Lanna again.

Nearly didn't give 5 stars and perhaps I am being picky? Great location on the river and proper high-end boutique digs. Large (very) room with great balcony and old worlde bath tub. Staff was hit and miss… check-in excellent but on other occasions completely ignored by other staff… huh? Def will return.

Very nice small hotel. Good rooms, nice restaurant, staff good and attentive without out being pushy. Only disappointment was the roof top pool which appeared to be under renovation. It was my birthday the first night I stayed. Went out for dinner and upon arrival back to the room a member of staff appeared with a large piece of delicious cheesecake with a chocolate decoration saying Happy Birthday. It was a very nice touch and much appreciated.

Beautifully designed boutique hotels in Chiang Mai. Compact and yet distinctive in designs and service. Right at Ping river. Car parking lots available outside. Huge deluxe king suites. Spacious with small garden beside shower area. Well located. Closed to major attractions in town.

Cute boutique hotel in a great location. We stayed in a superior river view room and could not have been more pleased. I love the bohemian and industrial mashup they have going on. Views of the river are nice. Night market only a 15 minute walk. Really enjoying our stay.

In General I would give 5 stars for this beautiful boutique hotel. A few things can be improved is maybe cleaning room earlier (or don’t forget to clean, water came out from shower room as the door can’t be totally close) I was very impressed that our breakfast was packed and ready ready at 4.30 am, as we left early to our trip for the day. Most of staff was very friendly, location is Great! Definitely will be back!

Big hotel room, breakfast but the swimming pool is a bit disappointing.

Went there for dinner with a friend. Very disappointed with the food, plus it is overpriced.

It's a great value. Check in process is smooth. Wife and I were treated to complimentary cool towels and refreshments (greatly appreciated after our afternoon walk! ). As soon as we stepped into the room, I knew I made right choice picking this place. First off, being farang, I super appreciated that the AC was already on and the room near a delightful 70 degrees fahrenheit. Next, you have the subtle smell of aroma therapy that pairs well with massive king sized bed decorated with a couple of orchids. And if that wasn't enough to cause those knots in your back to loosen, there is the enormous soaking tub and walk in shower with a rain shower head, both options facing into your own little water courtyard. And yes, you can see the sky from either option with privacy. Oh, and it comes with bath salts. Now to some of the basics. Four complimentary water bottles per a day. Roof top restaurant onsite. Walking distance to the flower market and night bazaar, latter if it isn't to hot out. Pretty quiet in the room, can only make out the occasional motorcycle. A sofa, two chairs, and a coffee table provide a space to sit and relax other than just the side of a bed. This is not for the hostel crowd. This is for those who want space, not right in town but close enough that it's just a quick ride away.

We are 7 Days in this Hotel and have received a Breakfast every Morning for my Wife and me by the River from the à la carte Menu. On the 6 Day we were told that only one Breakfast was included in the Room Rate and the second had to be paid for. What is this? A Double Room for two People with two breakfast sets was booked and no little paid for it. At first the Restaurant Manager Did not want to respond to our demand, seemed unsafe and after that he suddenly understood English very badly … Hospitality is different!
Anyone who has ever been to the Sala Resort Koh Samui will be bitterly disappointed here.

All staffs at the hotel are really helpful and friendly. Overall service is exceptional:) ) and all the food including breakfast, lunch and the afternoon tea set are delicious!

Very comfy bed and pillows. Nice view by the river. Tge room is little worn out but some renovation touching up will do the job. Will come back again!

Very nice hotel and beautiful big rooms. The restaurant have river view and is very nice. Very nice stuff and very frendly. Next trip to Chiang Mai I will stay there again for sure.

Nice service but the hotel was OK.

This is a wonderfully relaxing, comfortable and beautiful river front hotel and I'm so glad I'm here. It's won a few rewards including having the best interior and exterior design 2014 and award of excellence from TripAdvisor also an award winning menu. We're truly being spoilt~~~ every night a complimentary drink at the bar. The kids are super happy!

High tea is good and the price is quite reasonable. 580baht for 2 persons.

We went to Sala Lana's riverside Italian restaurant called Italia. The food was great but the service was terrible. We took a table by the riverside and ordered entree, main and dessert. 30 mins after order, entree was served. Another 30 mins later, dessert was served. When I pointed out that we didn't get our mains yet, staff took it back. A little over an hour later main (2 pizzas and one lasagnia) was served. Considering that our dessert was already prepared, we requested to have it served right after main. Took them another 15 mins to serve. The mosquitoes and the noisy party on the other side of the river didn't help. I would recommend eating inside and hope management would do something about the service.
