First time in Zurich and this hotel is absolutely wonderful. Room with balcony a must! Enjoy a sunny afternoon on terrace. Staff is extremely helpful in directions and treats during your stay make it even more remarkable. Herbs restaurant is delicious and located in hotel. Location perfect for shopping, tours and own site seeing. Love it!

FANTASTIC SERVICE from the front desk. Unfortunately the air conditioner did not work. But the weather was cool enough for me to open the window. Also no fitness room but you can go for a run or walk by the lake close by. I'll be back!

Small little hotel, but don't let the size fool you — the rooms are very nice and modern with all the proper amenities! Got an upgrade to a suite with a wrap around balcony with a very nice very. Friendly and very helpful front desk.

Great hotel, friendly reception! Location was good, it's a short walk from the Opera House and other points of interest in the historic center of Zurich. Zurich HB (main station) is about a 20 minute walk or accessible via the trams about three blocks away from the hotel.

Very nice welcome, nicely decorated lobby, big TV, upgrade as SPG Gold and 10% voucher for bar/restaurant. Location in walking distance to Old Town, tram stops nearby.

Good location, nice rooms. Stayed here because it's part of Starwood network and I wanted the points, but overall prefer B2 boutique hotel and spa which is more luxurious.

Location, location, location. This Sheraton is conveniently located a stone's throw from the lake and within easy walking distance from the Bahnhofstrasse shopping district. Neighbourhood (business district) is desert at night but that makes for less traffic. A few parking spots on the street, free at night and on sundays, otherwise nearby pricey underground parking are your only option. So location is convenient but not particularily charming. Our premium executive room was nothing to write home about, clean but not very spatious, facing an appartment building but quiet at night. Breakfast buffet is basic but you can order stuff à-la-carte.

Great staff and location. The room was a little small compared to other hotels but was definitely of adequate size for 2 people. Probably the best fuzzy slippers I have ever had at a hotel. The Google description is incorrect and there is no gym here, but there is a nice lake just down the street that you can run around. I read the other reviews — maybe they were in other rooms, but my room was modern, had no problem with the bathroom layout, and had great Wi-Fi.

We booked and stayed in a junior suite just for one night to break the journey. Quite nice setting, yet the toilet is a bit small and cramped. Service is very good at reception and we received a big basket of fruits. There is a bar, though small yet quite comfortable. Breakfast is buffet style in a nice and comfortable setting cafe. There is a big balcony in the room, good view of skyline and roof tops in the area.

As are you said in the past I was disappointed by the attitude of this Starwood guest hotel because as Starwood Gold member for over 20 years and staying in many Starwood hotels throughout the world it's the first time we were not offered an upgraded room. Are you finally offered to pay for an upgrade and did you get a larger corner room.

Very international standard with iron, coffee maker, well managed and efficient. Single rooms are a bit small. Friendly and effective staff. No gym. Excellent central location with easy tram connections. A lot if construction noise from the street in May.

Heater didn't work well. It isn't central heating but a radiator. There was also poor insulation in the room making it very cold in the winter.

Comfortable and close to old town.

Food okay, however the restaurant feels more than 'Compulsory program' to round off the offer.
