Nice and quite hotel and staff friendly.

The location has been renovated recently. Service is very friendly and forthcoming. The food is the real treat. Amazing stuff is coming out of the kitchen from entree to dessert.

The room was clean, the bed large and comfy, and the bathroom large. Not sure what more you could want from a hotel :)

The rooms are very clean even if the style is a bit old. The breakfast is very expensive for what it is and the staff tend to be slow to come and help you.

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… Pros: Great location. Very close to the lake, and just next to the tram/train station. Cons: Looks clean but I'm not sure if it actually is. There were something left from previous customer in the bathroom when I arrived (it was on the shelf, so maybe missed that point? ). I'm glad that I had my own shampoo, lotion etc. Because they never brought them during my 4 night stay. I don't know if it was something I shall request from them. My shower broke so I had to switch my room in the night. I would vote worse but the lobby/information desk people were always very kind and tried to solve the problems immediately.

Well appointed rooms in a convenient part of town. Great breakfast.

Not worth the money, go anywhere else. This is NOT a four star hotel. And on top of it, the staff were extremely rude. Here's a list of our awful experience: — You can't control the temperature in the room. — Some random person comes by and interrupts you in the room in the evening claiming to need to come and "check the minibar". — You can hear people coughing in the next room. That's how thin the walls are. — No gym on premises or sauna, the listing is wrong. — Shower is fine if you're under 5'5 tall and don't want to control the temperature (it was awful). The bathroom sink didn't drain. The coffee maker leaked. The room had only two pillows and two towels. The bed was not comfortable. — Terrible staff, who managed to get our order wrong. — We checked out and settled our bill the night before leaving as we had an early start, and the next morning the staff argued with us at length, even after we showed proof of purchase, that we hadn't paid. — Our keys stopped working at night, and there was nothing like an apology from the staff who acted like we inconvenienced them to ask for working keys to our room. — The breakfast was good but before I was even done eating, the staff insisted I sign a bill for breakfast even though we were told on arrival that it was included. Hospitality here: non existent.

Clean and comfortable. I wouldn't say outstanding but very nice.

A very nice hotel close to the lake. Rooms are clean and well maintained. There is also a decent restaurant at the lobby, a bit expensive though.

Everything about the stay was nice. I think some rooms (at least mine) could do with a plumbing upgrade, on/off hot/cold there was little middle ground with faucets/shower. The breakfast and coffee were good too.

I travel on business about once or twice a year and this has been over of my nicest experiences with a hotel. It's a very pleasant hotel with a nice breakfast, I didn't make use of the bar or dinner (which is closed on Sundays like the majority of Zurich) so I can't say how that experience is. My room was perfectly kept by the staff as is expected in a 4-star hotel. The receptionists and restaurant staff are fluent in English which is a bit rare in Switzerland, so I really appreciate that. Being near to multiple museums (including the FIFA football museum next door) and next to a major rail station (Bahnhof Enge) with a trolley going along the world-class designer shopping experience that is Bahnhofstrasse makes it a nice starting point for adventures.

Overall the hotel is pretty nice. Clean room and everything you'd need. Rooms could be a bit bigger but it's not a huge complaint.

Nicely located near the train station. Rooms are comfy and service was pretty good. There is no in house gym though.

Where do I begin. Within 15 minutes of checking in to the hotel, one of their male workers opened the door to our room (without knocking or announcing himself) when my wife was alone in the room. You can imagine how scared and shocked she must have felt at this inappropriate and compromising intrusion. To make matters worse when I confronted the hotel manager about this they gave me half an apology (claimed it was to check the minibar, even though we had just checked in) and didn't do anything to ensure me or my wife would be safe. The hotel also had serious issues such as holes in the shower marble patched up with just calking, a non functioning hair dryer, and a breakfast that was not at the proper temperature. Maybe that's what FIFA was going for. I would give this place a 0 stars if I could.

It's also in a Clconvenient location right next to Enge station, easily accessible from the Airport.

We have us felt very comfortable in your Hotel and would it to all of our friends recommend. The Service at the reception and at Breakfast was very knowledgeable and very friendly. Very nice hotel close to train station Enge. Stayed 4 night and enjoyed our stay.

Pathetic breakfast. Ok location. No AC in standard rooms. Rather biz like but nothing great.

Dvantage neer the train stations and the restaurants. Disadvantage very small bathroom and ther is not many choices in breakfast buffet and the parking for the car cost 40 CHF bear day.

The service and location of this hotel was really good. My only gripe was the internet connection. It sucked really bad. Kept connecting and disconnecting. Extremely unreliable. So if you have urgent work that you need to do during the trip, you may want to consider another hotel that has a more stable connection. Other than that, the service, the rooms and breakfast were pretty good. Its also right across from the train station and trams, so getting anywhere (including the airport) is a stone throw away.

The bed is quite good, spacy and organised! the nespresso machine at the room is a great touch! Breakfast is disappointing though.

I highly recommend the Hotel Ascot in Zürich. Arriving early at the hotel after missing my flight the night before, the friendly and efficient front desk staff checked me in quickly and even offered to help me locate my missing luggage. I found the room to be very comfortable and enjoyed sitting out on my balcony. The free Wi-Fi was a nice touch. Breakfast was served in the main restaurant and featured a nice variety of dishes. Across the street is the Zürich Enge train station which made returning to the airport easy, taking only 30 minutes. A very pleasant experience overall.

Hotel very well located on the Tessinerplatz easily attainable by means of local transport. Not far from the Bahnhofstrasse and the Lake also. Good breakfast and especially great service. For the Marathon of Zürich 2013, breakfast is available from 04:30 and check-out repoussé at 3 p. M. To take a shower again in the room! Bravo. And thank you.

Good location, friendly staff. Room size is ok. Very expensive! During my stay, found Work on the facade instead. Was in the morning at 07:30 PM by drills aroused…
