➜ Super happy to have met this country house. All care to the smallest detail. The owners always attentive to make our stay even better.
➜ We have been a weekend and it has been a pleasant experience, the place is wonderful with spectacular views, the house very cozy, but the best are the people who manage the place very friendly, who make you feel at home, and it is as if you are transported to

We had a wonderful time at Finca Oliva — it’s a dilemma to put a review on facebook, since we would like to keep it a secret, but Bernhard and Caroline at Finca Oliva deserves it, so here is the vote from the danish jury: A visit at Finca Oliva is like visiting friends greeting you with open arms. This is how it goes: We get lost on the way (as we usually do, but in my defence Finca Oliva is well hidden, also from GPS, hence bonus is that mass tourism seems far away on top of the mountain). Bernhard — landlord, owner, chef and now friend — drives on his scooter to Bollulla to show us the way. When arriving we start with a drink and a talk on the terrasse — with a view to die for. This is not just: “Welcome, here is the key and the Wi-Fi code” — this is “Welcome to the family” (the part of the family you like to hang out with). Even the dog Carlos will greet you and happily take you for a walk outside the premises between lemon — and olive trees. After settling in in our cosy room (1 of only 4) we meet again on the terrasse for drinks and tapas. You can mingle with the other guests — but it is optional, though the small amount of guests makes it ideal. Most of the evenings Bernhard prepares dinner so you don’t have to drive down the mountain — and it is good stuff! Here you dine with the other guests and catch up on the day, and maybe make new friends. The terrasse provides the coziest setting as the colors are changing on the mountains.
