Nice hotel. Accomodation was nice. Comfy bed. Hotel a base for cyclists. So a bit overrun when we stayed.

It isnt a five star hotel but the staff deserve 5 stars… Busy always but always polite and friendly with a reaxy smile and a welcome greeting. The food is good in the all inclusive… Like all hotels it can be a bit "samey" but its great quality and always tastes pretty good… Would recomend.

The two single beds were on wheels. What this means for a cuddly couple, everyone is allowed to grind out for themselves.
The rooms are totally small. Between the foot end of the bed it was still 30 cm to the wall. There is no longer a suitcase. Even if the hotel got 4 stars at the opening, for me it was unfortunately only two.

The Junior Suites on the ground floor are damp, dark as far too little accompanied and narrow. You pay extra and actually load in a hole.
The staff is sometimes not the kindest either. We were a big group and everyone was dissatisfied.
We travel to Mallorca every year, but this hotel is guaranteed to see none of us anymore.

I was here 2 weeks ago and it was very nice. This was my third time in this hotel and I like to come back every time. The food is great, I would have booked HP and was in a room on the first floor. The room was clean and you could leave the door to the balcony well because no animals came in. The room has air conditioning and a TV. The bathroom was very nice with a rain shower. In the evening you can listen to live music. Overall a great stay again and I will be happy to come again!

The hotel itself is OK. Buffet very simple but well cooked, knowledgeable staff, but no entertainment at the Club level. Main drawback is that it is colonized by the Germans at 80% so very noisy all the time (pool — hotel bar a TV channel in German continuously). Difficult for a couple of French. Despite very strong efforts on the part of management and staff. We still have a good stay and remain loyal to the concept Barcelo.

For my taste is an amazing hotel, beautiful, very well laid out, the Mini apartments in perfect condition, super clean, comfortable beds, shower with a lot of pressure. Excellent service, the attention of the staff of fabulous reception and emphasize the kindness of the person who was in charge of supplying water bottles (Blas). The perfect facilities (natural pool and indoor pool) and the buffet for breakfast and dinner varied. In general it is an excellent hotel.

I would like to know if it is adapted for handicapped.

Pretty nice in the spring. This is the second time we've come. Clean and comfortable hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The negative point is that our room was on the side of the stairwell and therefore very noisy.

Great service and a full buffet.

Have been cycling at irregular intervals for over 10 years. The hotel has nothing to do with the ball, it is (or has been) one of the largest (Hürzler) bicycle stations of the island. The whole ball-Honks are always coming from Easter, then the bikers are gone again. At the beginning (2006) Everything was still perfect.
Since then it has not been renovated and it has been difficult to get into the years. The name change (originally Pueblo Park) does not help. Here and there some beauty fixes. But the rooms/apartments are still extremely noisy. The whole facility and especially the baths rocked really badly.
The cleanliness has been severely diminished. For the second time in the apartments mice had. One even ran over the bed, had settled in the mattress. In the bathroom are constantly hair, lamp flickering, the bathtub belongs to the bulky waste, but not in a bath, etc etc. Etc.
Wi-Fi is free, but medieval is slow. You can book an expensive premium account, which is not available in all rooms. So seen, all botch.
The food is okay, huge selection/buffet. Live cooking but constantly understaffed. Most of it is convenience and what is fresh was not so tough and cartilaginousy in the past. Yes, sure, it has to be reckoned somewhere, but then let it go completely away or do it as with the competition in Alcudia (Iberostar) — there are only a few more charcoal tapas evenings. Little effort and maximum delicious.

The staff were very friendly. The movie room. We went out very early to catch a ferry and they cooked us breakfast for us alone at 3 am. The only downside would be the Wi-Fi. The Login service did not work very well and when we had a while browsing all the devices made logoff and we could not reconnect them.

The rooms are very small and clean at first sight.
Unfortunately I have a lot of small mosquito bites, which probably come from bed bugs, because the mosquito bites are too small for normal stitches and in early March for that is not really the season. I am also not the only one, of which several people have been affected in different rooms.
The food I was also rated with two stars, but was already better. The salads are partly unpalatable. I've switched to pizza and fries in the last few days because you can't go wrong.
The location is very good, the beach is quickly reached and the localities too.

I was quartered due to a 3 Wöcheigen job in the "Occidental Playa de Palma".
The reception was very cordial & all the time friendly, questions & extra requests were always answered courteously. It has always endeavoured to take this to the best.
Special features such as fitness room, sauna or the indoor, as well as outdoor pool were impeccable and were used on a regular basis.
P. S. The indoor pool is indeed quite cool — in my eyes but absolutely super to really swim — the hot shower Afterwards, there is also;)
The rooms were very pleasant and quite high quality, albeit plain and kept in size. The room cleaning & the room service were exceptionally pleasant, for example, there was a small affection on Halloween that we could find after returning to our rooms.
The surrounding area is very appealing if you would like to find a wide range of restaurants, pubs or the beach close by (5-6! ;). E. G. Also Car/scooter rental.
Over the season (Vllt also outside) there is also an in-house entertainment programme in the evening: Live music, dance (e. G. Latino o. Jazz) I am already looking forward to my next visit to the "Occidental Playa de Palma"

Delighted with our stay at this hotel. The perfect room, food varied and very rich and fabulous. Facilities such as the swimming pool or the sauna are in perfect condition.

A terrible experience, service lousy. The room was infested with ants and it took them 1 hour to come to fix it, if that was not little not we wanted to change the room. Terrible truth…

Hotel near Playa de Palma. I worked in the Dept of Reserves as a scholarship recipient. Nice staff, recommendable to pay a little more for a Junior Suite. Outdoor and indoor swimming pool. Clientele usually foreign.

Food excellent service excellent room too small no minibar bathroom small and uncomfortable extremely thin walls one hears the TV program of the neighbor with a total of only 3 stars value.

I wouldn't say from my experience that this is a 4/5 star hotel, it could most definitely do with a new refurbish as the apartment we stayed in was very dated & looks quite drab. The pool are is very nice & the grounds leadong to the apartment areas are very pretty. The food has a wide variety & the choice of food good but could be improved, snacks were limited almost no existent but we went November so probably off peak time. Staff were very nice. Wouldn't jump at staying again. But having said that, I would stay if it was with the party of friends we were with for our friend Richard Norths 50th Birthday. As we had an absolute hoot altogether.

This hotel I liked the quiet, the room and decor but what I liked least was the food is little varied and the heated, indoor pool that the water was super cold I believe that yes, in a 4 star hotel should have better service because the animation of the Saturday that came two singers started at 20:30 and end at 22 hours, we were all guests are most looking forward to music and with a face of boredom because I finish very soon and I think that that time is inappropriate because when you come out of dinner at the 21 hours you have only one hour to enjoy the animation.

Highly recommended, price super economic for the service of the hotel, a real bargain, we came to the end of January I don't know if it has something to do with the price. The buffet food great and the staff of the luxury hotel.

The best place to go with kids. I read lot of false information about the place and drunk people. Everything is false we loved. Services and staff where excellent.

It is a nice hotel without the usual Saufturis. Room and everything else is very appealing.
First of all, there are very nice staff who you will notice you are with heart and soul. And not forgetting the culinary pleasures of the kitchen. Is a pleasure again and again.
In April 2018 we come to the hotel for the third time to make a holiday.

We had a junior suite and stayed over Christmas. Buffet breakfast lunch and dinner had great choice to cater for all palates. The junior suite was lovely with separate living room with a 40"tv in bedroom and another in living room.

The facilities are not bad, although you can improve some things… But what I least liked was the bad face and lack of education of some workers. Especially a young blonde waitress from coffee shop who at all times addressed my partner and me reluctantly, even being rude on occasion. In fact one of the times he was bothered just to order two sandwiches my partner and I, having everything included, because it was 11'30 in the morning and at 12 it closed… Besides being lactose intolerant, he didn't bother to order vegetable milk or fit for my intolerance, he just replied with a slob that it was over… In addition to attending to us while chewing with my mouth open something I was eating when leaving the kitchen… I don't know if name, since I didn't have a badge. It's a shame that people so nasty this face to the public.

The hotel is quite large, with some room spacious, with coffee service, down pillows, and many more amenities, we were a family and had a great time.

Great hotel, with wide variety in the dining room. The rooms are OK. Only has one drawback in the winter to note the freshness.

We have been enjoying a few days in this hotel the whole family. The truth, an exceptional attention by all the staff as a whole. In the restaurant with MARGA and LOLI (and all the other components that I don't remember their names), SUPER-pleasant (I would put in bold, but the system won't let me). At the bar, with SAINTS and the rest of his teammates, EXTREMELY special (I'm including everyone, boys and girls, the truth I do not remember all of their names. Also I would put in bold). The facilities and the rest of services, VERY GOOD… I hope to repeat… Greetings.

Amazing hotel… I could not find any negative point, exepet the horrible ceramics in the bathroom… Simply ugly… But everything else was perfect… The hotel is super clean, the service was amazing… Friendly staff… Helpful… And smiling… For sure I will come back to this special hotel… The food was so good… Every evening a different kind of tastefull food. The hotel is 5 minutes from the beach… One of the best hotels I have been staying in the last 5 years…

Very small double rooms where you can barely turn. The room are very location. When the room neighbor is spinning, the only thing missing is that the bed moves. The plaster on the wall falls down. Shower has mold in the joints. The bed is located. A room taken in the whole day is needed light although the sun is shining outside.
The food is quite ok.
Here only those who do not claim survive. There's only one star, because you don't have to starve.

Fabulous Hotel. Great rooms looking over the pool. Staff are warm and welcoming. Food is first class. Mainly Germans here but the staff speak English. The pool was a bit chilly but it was November. Had a lovely few days and will hopefully be back soon.

Never do I bother to write a review but this time I am braking the norm. I am so so disappointed with this hotel. I am very well travelled have stayed in 4 different occidental hotels in 3 different countries & by far this is the worst in so many ways definitely should be stripped of its 4* status. Am still here waiting to go home which unfortunately pick up isn't until 10pm. After having to already pay to upgrade from a really grotty unsafe room I was given when arrived. I had no help keeping room on or alternative room to help my needs as am disabled (sight impaired & mobility issues. I was in tears & shown no care. Many public areas especially swimming pools & so called premium upgraded areas are always dirty & untidy. My room was superior double REALLY OMG. Was still a basic room with my faults. Thank god for the waiting staff in restaurants, bars & the two male reception staff as they as amazing only good thing which made my stay bearable. The lifeguard also fantastic he so helpful, kind & friendly. The biggest shame for me I looked at many hotel before booking & because was an occidental & according to booking I was sold room I paid extra for has made my stay sad too expensive for what I got & left me wishing I booked elsewhere. So true what everyone says all loud beer drinking Germans keeping u awake & waking u early so so tiered understatement… manager also invisible asked two days to speak to him.

As a My Barcelo customer I must say this is the worst one I have stayed in to date and ever had cause to complain to management about. If you want to be surrounded by over aged groups of chanting, beer swilling Germans then this is the place for you! Complaints are not taken seriously or followed up, so don't bother. Don't be fooled by the photos they publish as they show no resemblance to the real thing. Visiting here for our Anniversary and so dissapointed in many ways. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place and spend your money elsewhere!

Reasonably priced, superior-quality package holiday resort style hotel. Lovely terraces and 2 pools. Generous-sized rooms and very comfortable bed. Popular with Germans.

Breakfast was very good people that work at reception very friendly and swimming pool was good but rooms for price 180euros pro night horrible first doors are breaking down then the air conditioning is not working I talk to manager from hotel and he wanted to convince me that everything was fine whit air conditioning but it was not cooling the room I could not sleep how hot it was in room sometimes for this money never again.

The food was perfect, the pools and the snack bar perfect. But the one thing I hate more than the loud music that was on until 23:00 (I don't want to hear was head, shoulders, knees and toes five nights in a row), were the drunk and high Germans. Down 5 apartments from where I stayed were these two knob heads that were offensive and annoyance to the whole apartment block. One day, they came out of their apartment to sit on the balcony, they were rolling up some dope into a cigar. They went inside to come out dressed up as monks with a cross made of beer cans, they were shouting and clapping at people. But I guess we got our revenge by the whole block waking them up. I also hate the fact that the apartments inside the main part of the resort that all you can hear are the doors slamming.

C is everything. Nice place nice people. Woo also beautiful x children and I know eat from God. You can also find tough girls at reception. Obviously not all.

Nice personal, good food, beatyfull place, nice garden, two pools, one with salt water. Good location.

Lots of bugs in the rooms and mold in the walls (allergies went crazy). Also the service was incredibly slow (it took about 15 minutes to get and pay for a drink with only 3 people at the bar). Also has some sexist dress codes at the restaurant. Also hairs from previous customers still in the room after the cleaners have been here at least 3 times since…

Holiday end June 2017-the hotel is comfortable, clean, well-groomed kitchen, good outdoor spaces we say as expected. Too bad the Waterfront (Arenal Beach) is full of herds of Germans perpetually drunk and rowdy until late at night. The beach is of nice long sand. Discreet Sea.

Very nice structure but unfortunately overrun by boys Germans perpetually drunk. This serious problem is not just about the Occidental, but all the hotels that overlook this stretch of the Arenal. I think that the mallorquine, Spanish and European authorities should intervene and put an end to this havoc that the island of Mallorca certainly does not deserve. The same tourism companies should organize themselves to find a solution, the death of tourism on this stretch of coastline with repercussions on the whole island.

The receptionist knew little Italian but we still understood. Instead of the room booked I have assigned an apartment: living room, kitchenette, bathroom and a good size bedroom with a small outdoor space useful for my dog (welcomed with kennel, croquettes and mineral water). The room was very noisy Kitchen in line with the same type of facilities: good and varied but you don't have to expect great chef dishes when you cook for hundreds of people. They didn't ask me for any extra and they didn't want a penny for the little dog. Unfortunately there is not a beach that will welcome animals and also on buses you need the carrier. The area is mainly frequented by Germans but, contrary to what read in some reviews, the guests of the hotel have been polite and respectful: outside there are many young "exuberant" and in excellent relationship with alcohol, however it happens Also in Italy.
Ultimately a great hotel that should invest to improve some small details (furniture, renovations) but that works very well even so. Thanks for the courtesy and professionalism.

I love it — 4 star value, rooms are nice and modern — but very small.

Despite shooting man right in front of the door, it is pleasantly quiet. Very modern plant. Apartments have been bit in the year. Should you renovate times.

Hotel category with good service and attention. To highlight the proximity to the beach and the promenade of arenal. It also has Spa, gym and pool. ATM inside the enclosure, banco Santander.

In principle, the reception service leaves much to be desired, by their bad ways and its low efficiency problem-solving without taking into account the basis of attention to the client (empathy — synergy) and know how to be, not to speak disparagingly of a customer at counter in his presence. I felt embarrassed.
Below; the rooms are very small and the beds very uncomfortable. The apartment, that two children and one elderly person occupied was somber overlooking the road and a strong and unpleasant smell of moisture, we did change request by breathing problems and after denied it several times, they gave us another, not much better… which the heating was faulty and there was no hot water having to shower both children and grandmother in the locker room of the gym several warnings was given to reception and was ignored.
Night at the bar service was absent, after 30 min at the bar without that nobody attend to us.
I also think it right to say that facilities such as the cleaning and the restaurant was quite adequate, but when a client goes a weekend to rest and passes it on discussing and disillusioned by the Serbian, it is difficult to get things positive.
7 bedrooms, 15 people… that are a bad taste in the mouth.

All muyyy well the only thing the lunch and dinner are repeated quite the dishes, the service excellent.

I do not recommend this hotel it is noisy and the night is a disaster it takes almost fight with the younger crowd who n to no respect for people who sleep. Abandones is know nothing at all. Staff who s responsible for customers is very helpful the food is very good.

The plant is on height Ballermann 6, so only a few minutes walk (. )

After several complaints by air conditioning, was "a technical" and putting the hand in front of the grid, in the room, says that air comes out to about 24 or 25 degrees, and works well. For my part because without comments, but was so in all rooms (I changed to another) and in all units, less at reception. I industrial refrigeration and that someone explain to me as 25th out of grid is proper to make a room pleasant living, for example, in the NAP.
Moreover, I have to say that the staff, everything, is excellent in attentions and realities. I always leave a good tip for the staff of the dining room and another for waiters. I have no complaints from the staff and if it solucciona the problem, will return back to the hotel. Already I was in 2007 and I loved it. In 2008, I spent too much warmth and thus will not rest, which is what we were.
I'll call next year and if already soluccionado topic, I assure you that I get back.
