Delicious food, nice location, nice view of the sagrada familia, live music which was a nice touch. It was a little bit too busy and a bit too expensive but you do pay a lot for the location.

Clean rooms, rooftop pool and hot tub. Roof top bar amazing views. Giovanna at reception is wonderful.

I didn't like the attention received at this hotel at all. By circumstances we went on August 21 to leave on the 22nd, we paid 183 Euros and coincidentally on the 22nd closed access to the pool for cleaning. I can understand that maintenance has to be done, but have it scheduled and alerted, please. Also I commented with reception and was asked for the room number… which was 362. And it was never heard again…, it seems that they were not interested in having selected them. In the end, in short, I walked in at 2 am and left at 10 am and paid 183 Euros for 10 hours. They lacked humane treatment and a detail to leave us happy. Idyllic situation but I try to make neighborhood hostel. It's a shame.

We went to the tapas bar located on the 8th floor and it had some fantastic views, the food was great, and our waiter was awesome. No complaints. I would suggest making reservations before going, especially if going later in the evening.

Rooms are big and nicely decorated and the hotel is self is lovely. The rooftop bar is wonderful and the location is withing walking distance to loads of shops. Staff are really helpful and lovely. However, while it's not massively loud, I can hear other people moving about in their rooms on occasions. But for the price paid and the location it's a very good hotel!

My review is about Alaire terrace. I love it! The service is excellent and the prices versus quality are so good. The kitchen close at 11pm but the girl ask in the kitchen and then she offer us a option (pizza). And the pizza was so good! We spend really good time in there.

Fatal service. 25 minutes on the terrace waiting for us to attend and nothing. We left and we won't be back anymore. Disorganization and indolent on the part of the staff. That they devote themselves to attending to the clients before being worried about collecting the tables.

The hotel is nice in many ways, but also has fatal flaws for 4 stars. 1) beds hard as rocks, 2) twin beds pushed together do not stay together unless you make them, 3) only 1 channel of TV in English, 4) no robes, 5) mediocre breakfast buffet, 6) annoying window shade system which wasn't explained, 7) no convenient outlets for charging devices, 8) uncomfortable chairs 9) instant coffee in the room, 10) no coffee in the lobby 11) coffee shops in Barcelona don't open until 0730 weekdays.

The rooftop view was 'ok' but overall I did not like. I asked for gintonic and when the bill comes it was more than on the menu. So they said they charge extra for tonic. This is crazy. If u charge just put the full prize and dont trick people. Also I did not like the waiters there too. They were not polite to customers. I would never go again, sorry. So many nicer rooftops in bcn. Discover and dont waste your time here.

Good service, I recommend to have a drink, eat, dine with friends and family. Good food and good atmosphere. I come whenever I can, (once every 15 days) I recommend it to 100%

Excellent terrace but the service it's not in the level of the Hotel. After 30 min no waiter came to our table, and finally I had to complain. The table of 2 women beside our table compained for the same. This is not the service you expect from a luxury Hotel.

Great cocktails at the roof terrace. Piña colada was excellent. Price around 14e.

An ideal terrace for a drink and a quiet chat. Good service. The only downside is the prices a bit high.

The restaurant of the hotel is amazing, from the top of the building you get an amazing skyview of the city. Perfect place for taking a drink after dinner. Food is a bit expensive for what it is. Staying outside on the terrace you will get an amazing views of la Pedrera.

Today April 20 we celebrated a wedding, the service to part of borders were going to what they were, treatment lousy, the meat not even have asked us the point of cooking the meat very made (a good meat is always served half crude), to ask if it could be changed by another men I made your answer has been that no (we have not been able to eat), has been asked for bread and do not want to do more your answer has been that is what there… (at a table can never miss Bread) after insisting I have brought bread I imagine that leftover bread from another diner I have placed it because it was wet below… I think if it is my decision I will not return more.

The Alaire terrace is fantastic, of the best in Barcelona and also very well located. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A great place to start the weekend.

Excellent attention, very well studied facilities with different environments all with an exquisite taste. A rich dinner but of little personalized catering, but I must say that it was to be expected since I was organizing and did not dine a la carte. A terrace overlooking emblematic buildings of the city. In short I said it very well.

Excellent location, unbeatable. Customer experience unsatisfactory. The management of minibar automated lousy without product or temperature, cobrándote the service for a few ice cubes when the service failure is precisely that of the establishment itself. Too obsessed with cost control.

Fantastic hotel in the centre of BCN. I went for a 3 day meeting with the company and I don't have a but. The staff very friendly, the room large, clean and comfortable. The restoration is also excellent.

The staff of the outdoor terrace is fantastic, the atmosphere and the food of 10!

Hotel is located at a very convenient location closet to Casa Milà and Casa Batlló. We stayed in a room facing the interior atrium, this room is smaller than the standard room that faces the street, but it's a bit quieter. Room is well-appointed. Restaurant on site serves food quality food. Housekeeping was a bit inconsistent — used coffee cups were not replaced on a few occasions. Overall it was good value and we had a pleasant stay.

Location was perfect as it was pretty middle of all the shops and close to the two of Gaudi's amazing houses. Food at the hotel restaurant was decent. The hotel is also close to Catalana which is a fantastic tapas place. However, the housekeeping staff is a bit off the ball (e. G. Not cleaning/replacing used cups, etc. ) at times and there's was one night where we didn't have hot water after 11pm. Overall, would stay at this hotel again if visiting Barcelona again.

It depends on the room that touches you. The bathroom there are times you don't have in a part separation with the bedroom and it does that if you go in couple when you shower the other person will wake up safe. Otherwise the hotel is very nice.

Great choice. Prices are not in season very affordable. Good location, nice rooms. The fruit salad ordered in the room consisted of half a sluggish Mandarin, half an apple and two pieces of hard melon. It was worth it a pleasure of about 10 euros. Breakfast was good.

The Alaire Terrace is a great place for a drink to get out of work. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The cocktails are very well made and better presented. The tapas they have are very good and the mayonnaise is wasabi I love it.

Room well equipped but not all that warm in every sense of the term, since the air conditioning was pushed to the background during our arrival! If you are located street-side as you say that you will be unable to close the eye much too noisy, and this at any hour of the night. Arrived at noon, it takes not even bother to looked at if your room is available and ready no matter what happens, you are told it is 14h… pool ice cold! This institution must have assets that I have not been able to appreciate as I am disgusted to have put as much in an establishment that is not worth its 4* for my taste…

Great hotel in a central position, making getting around the city easy. Lovely roof top bar with great views, found and drinks. Free breakfast in the ground floor restaurant. Overall a great place to stay in Barcelona.

Hotel in the middle of the city in the chic district of Barcelona. Staff to small care, the rooms are large and comfortable by cons the pool is tiny, the breakfast is varied and very plentiful. Parking at 22 euros per day but is less expensive than those from the outside which are 23 euros from 19 hours to 9 hours. Close to Metro line 2 and 5. I highly recommend it.

I am at the Alaire roof top restaurant just now, and can't get my around this place. There is total confusion amongst staff.
We reserved a table, and got confirmation, via email. Upon arrival they had no table for us, and placed us in the bar area with no shade. When showing the email confirmation, asking for a table in the other section, staff said they had no clue who had responded to our email, he probably did not work there (?! ). On their own email? As we travel with our daughters, starving at this time, we stayed for a quick meal. Food ok. Well, except the hair in the burger, wine not arriving, snacks not arriving. And unengaged staff. Something is missing here — management? It might be a one off bad experience, I will not return to find out.

Undeserved fame. It has only the central location. The housing solutions have defiances, the attention to the side customer.

This is the best hotel I have ever been to.
There are no words to describe the qualities of this hotel, the staff and the management.
In short – the hotel is without any doubt 5 star quality!
The lobby has two floors, the second one have several personal areas, even a place that feels like a family living room with a lovely view to the street.
All the areas are very comfortable and inviting.
The rooms are very good and the house keeping is very efficient – you ask for something and immediately get it. The Bathroom is fully equipped with all you need and more.
The breakfast is one of the best I've eaten, especially in Europe. The staff there is unbelievingly good – they remembered our special requests every day and filled them without us asking again day after day.
The location is perfect, on the main street and 5-10 minutes drive from every needed place (Mare magnum, Primark. ) and 5 minutes walk from the subway.
This hotel has an Emotional intelligence.
Me and my family had an unfortunate event that made us stay longer then planed till an unknown time. The manager herself came to help us and support us in any needed matter. She was there every day, all day long to see that we are ok. The hotel general manager also came to check on us and support us.
I want to thank the manager and all the staff for been our second home in Barcelona now and forever. And a special thank from my mom!

Major drawback: insulation vis-à-vis the outside to review very quickly because very noisy, impossible to sleep without plugs in the ears.

It is a centrally located, well located, hotel with well-equipped rooms. It is a fairly loud, but modern hotel to be in busy streets and not be very well insulated.

I was only on the terrace of the hotel. The space is nice, however, service is very poor, attention to customers is not quality and the product, taking into account the high prices, nor is all the good that should be.

The hotel is ideally placed for tourism, whether cultural or for shopping! Efficient, hotel home neat, clean and spacious rooms…
Bonus for the roof top bar which is really nice!

We had the internal meeting on sex work and trafficking here. Great boutique hotel with lovely roof scene, but note that some meeting rooms are in the basement.

A great afterwork experience.

The terrace of the hotel, Alaire, is a space almost magical. Front of the House key. Music very well chosen, live performances of very good standard and the Charter and service fantastic. Young people, place afterwork, with a select public.

I could enjoy its terrace this Saturday night for a drink of champagne Moët Chandon.
The views are perfect, just above the Paseo de Gracia and you can see La Pedrera and the Sagrada Familia, for a drink in the bar. Good atmosphere and good design.
I do not you more score because the truth is that the service was not good are expected. I don't know if it was football or because, but we ask site at the bar to enjoy the views, they made us sit in sofas that we expected. They stayed in bar-free sites and even so we had to remind the waitress that we were waiting for the bar to us seated. Also we had to wait long for only two glasses of champagne, even they had to remember that even we had failed.
Good place but I expect better service.

The spectacular Alaire terrace occupies the entire roof of the Hotel Condes de Barcelona, on Paseo de Gracia, and from which provides a privileged landscape of the modernist Barcelona with the silhouettes of La Pedrera in foreground and the Sagrada familia in the rearguard. It is one of "to be place them" between the terraces of hotel thanks to its privileged location and its constant organization of concerts and events. Special interest arouse ALAIRE nights. Luxury glasses at night with good background music, lots of entertainment and atmosphere very chic. In addition, the music is live present Wednesdays and Sundays in summer. A fusion of jazz with other rhythms like funk, groove and rock. A fusion of styles to enjoy even more than one of the most privileged spaces and glamorous city. The Alaire terrace is also the ideal space to organize all kinds of private events.

Rooms and Roof are great.

I've never hosted me, my review goes to the terrace and their cocktails. It is ideal for an afternoon of spring/summer. The terrace is decorated with much taste and put music room perhaps a little too high. The cocktails make them wonder and also have tapas and more or less elaborate dishes that are worth asking to accompany the Cup. The views are spectacular, see Barcelona from a hotel in the Centre of the city is amazing. The price is good, it's not cheap but you pay the place and the situation in the Paseo de Gracia in Barcelona.

Absolutely horrifying service. They didn't have the room when we got there so they just booked a cheaper hotel at a further location without asking us or sending us an email. We spent hours researching Barcelona to book a good location and we ended up spending our first looking for another hotel. The staff was thoroughly non apologetic and nonchalant about this inhospitality and to rub in the insult, they thought giving us a coupon for 2 beers is a favor for us when we lost hours on our trip and hundreds of dollars of in the price differences of the 2 hotels.

Spent 6 nights there last week. Great hotel, very central location, nice room with a large bathroom, the best bed I had in a long time. The rooftop terrace is a great place to chill out in the evening, great tapas and drinks and fairly priced for the standing of the hotel. Great and friendly service the first night I went up there, a bit disappointed by the quality of the service when I returned on the friday evening but probably due to the fact the fact that it was very busy. One thing I have not figured out though was the fitness room. There was a couple of signs leading to it but it looks like that it is under construction, or is it just my poor Spanish skills. An early morning jog on an empty Paseo de Gracia did the trick instead. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the hotel. Highly recommended.

The Bar of the Hotel Condes de Barcelona is priceless. It offers views of all of the Paseo de Gracia and sofas to sit and spend a nice evening. In summer, is one of the hotels to be added to the offer "Vespres Inédits" from Estrella Damm. Believe me, worth it. I've been several times and I've always been very comfortable. My dissatisfaction with the site is that, often, in high season some waiters are hired as interns and don't get paid what they deserve, as the cups and drinks to pay them a living wage.

Good value for the money, nicely situated within the city center! Somewhat older look and feel though. Very good service.

This is by far one the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The service was exceptional. Every question we had they patiently helped us with. When we wanted tickets printed for various things we were going to do, they would print it for us and deliver to our room. The location is also a bonus since it is central to many things like La Padrera, Nou Camp (if there is a game on, it is a must to watch it), Sagrada Familia, La Ramblas and so on. There are buses that go to all of these places for 2 euro per person one way and are very easy to look up on Google. We got around for 5 days without getting lost and only taking a cab twice. There is a little bit of noise from the street, but should not bother people at all. For breakfast we would walk down to the pans and company, about 2 blocks away, every morning for a very delicious meal and coffee and its a fair price. The gym actually has proper equipment and the rooftop pools are nice in summer. We could not have asked for more here and really hope others will stay here.
