Review of Chic & Basic Born Boutique Hotel 3*

Those people who booked to this hotel and DID not get any refund you should read this! **** I am writing here on behalf of my wife. I want to share our experience. We booked to stay to Born & Chic in Barcelona for 7 nights and we payed the whole amount 700 eu back in February of 2020 just before the COVID-19 outburst. In March situation was very bad in Spain so we had to cancel the reservation because of restrictions (1 month in advance before checkout). Although we got back the full amount for airplane tickets we called the hotel and they said they cannot refund us but instead they would give us voucher to visit later. After that situation got even worse with quarantines everywhere in the world (including Greece and Spain) and they even canceled the flights to Spain and the prices for the very few flight tickets were really high so we called again to the hotel describing the situation and asking kindly to refund us the money because it was impossible to visit Spain under those circumstances. They promised us to refund the money then, and they even asked for our bank account. Now my wife is pregnant (and we have proofs for this) we really need those money and they are still playing with us promising that they will refund us. We called already more than 20 times for this reason. They will NEVER refund us. This is TOTALLY unacceptable! Those cases should be reported to all the authorities! We are starting a legal fight against this to claim for our rights. Today we filled already a charge-back Dispute report to VISA center. We are going to proceed with international law firm and we need support from people who were victims like us and lost their money.
