I have had very unpleasant experiences in this hotel. I reserved 9 rooms including the breakfast but when I did check in, I was asked to pay for the breakfast. I needed to argue about it for about 30 minutes at around 11 pm. I had had cold so I wanted to take a rest. They also asked me the unexpected tourist levy without any document. I asked to show me the document but the manager didn't do that even though a receptionist showed me eventually. At the end, about the breakfast, as a tour leader, I asked them to provide the food in advance without any inconvenience because all the staff from reservation office was gone back at night and said, let's sort the issue out after the breakfast time and they agreed with it, but one of my customers called me in early morning and she said she cannot eat the breakfast. Later on, a staff from the reservation agreed that was an error of their system. In addition, I have used this hotel 3 times this year and they got my passport when I did the check in, I became Chinese rather than Korean. Lastly, as a tour operator, I met a sales manager in June and we discussed further relationship and she promised to get to me by email with details but nobody has been getting to me even though I have asked it again and again several times. I got very surprised and shocked that this was the service of 4 star hotel in the middle of Cape Town.

Four stars b/c nice bed + wonderful breakfast. Minus one star b/c I cleaned dried toothpaste off the sink and unidentified schmutz off the shower wall when I first arrived. Things were otherwise clean, but those were some big oversights.

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… I have been here a week and will write a final review later. But for now — staying here 2 weeks for work and I am very impressed with all aspects of hotel life. Room service — I recommend it, but not the steak. Go for the Cape Malay Curry — I am fussy with chicken and need super trimmed breast meat — this curry is not only life changing good, the meat is perfect and for less than USD$10 you get a whole meal with everything. I've enjoyed this four times now and still not sick of it. The steak is from a different restaurant here in the hotel (there are 2) and chewy. Avoid. The upstairs bar is blissful with amazing views and all staff are beyond lovely to deal with. House keeping do a great job and come later in the afternoon, so good for a sleep in. Um… what else? Location is good for work — safe as I walk around here a lot and no issues. Close to the touristy bits, when I get some time off to enjoy it.

We had booked 5 rooms in this hotel and stayed here for 3 days. Staff was good, ambiance also ok types. Only rooms were a bit small. But overall the service was fast, and courteous. The best part was for breakfast in which they were able to serve us Indian vegetarian food i. E. Sandwiches. Thanks to their staff.

European style rooms, friendly staff, big variety at the breakfast buffet but not for vegetarians and vegans. Everything is good but not extraordinary.
What I liked most is the rooftop bar with a tiny swimming pool and a free of charge shuttle service within 1.5 kilometres from the hotel, a very convenient way to reach Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.

Hotel is on point. Harald bar and grill restaurant on the 11th floor is life. Great vibes and music. Drinks on the ball… Love the view specially at night…

Fantastic, well priced, friendly hotel. Extensive breakfast buffet including many health and Asian options. Lovely rooftop bar and splash pool. Great position in City centre.

Great place for after work drinks with a rooftop view. Cocktails are really good and reasonably priced. The food options look good in terms of price however I didn't have anything to eat so I can't rate on taste yet… Probably best to make a booking before hand as space outside is limited. Waiters are super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back here.

Very good location — central, super friendly and helpful staff, the hotel has very good and professional service. Free transport up till 3km (Mercedes Benz Van, shuttle drivers are always professional dressed). Rooms are clean and cozy. Hotel also offers a good quality of food for cheap, even bar on the roof top is very nice, with nice view…! I would definitely recommend this hotel (location) to everyone who wants to enjoy the stay without any troubles. We will be definitely back! See you guys :)

Great place to stay. All the facilities needed. Wifi didn't work and shower door didn't close properly which caused a leak. Restaurant is great, breakfast had a wide of selection of delicacies to choose from. Rooms well stocked.

Very nice, well maintained city hotel in a central location in Kappstadt. The waterfront and various restaurants and locations are within walking distance. The taxi costs are manageable.
Some of the modern rooms have a view of the Table Mountain.
The rooftop bar with pool is very nice to have a drink in the evening.
The hotel also has a guarded car park.

I shocked to see a patron jumping off the rooftop bar! Luckily it was a mirage… Or was it? "Thump"! Did you hear that? I didn't… Or did I?

Nice hotel. The rooms are small but cozy.

The service at the rooftop bar was abysmal. Even on a quiet afternoon we waited long for our drinks and the waiters did not come by regularly enough. The music was also way too loud; we could not hear one another. We literally asked seven times before it was turned down.

It's a wonderful place to stay especially for new years because they throw these amazing rooftop parties.

Very mediocre standards at this hotel. For Cape Town peak period, this hotel runs out of stock of products and takes extremely long for the stuff you actually can order. There are better places to stay and eat in Cape Town. Radisson Park Inns across the country are run very poorly. Waiting 50 minutes for food to arrive and eventually the waiter told me he had to go down to the kitchen and make it himself. However there was no time to even eat the substandard food. Absolutely poor!

Good hotel, well located and with efficient service. Breakfast, more than right. The room, discretita, so as not to throw rockets.

Had lunch on the top floor bar terrace. Was quiet with a good view. Not ideal for a quick bite.

I only had drinks on their top floor and it has a beautiful view. Their tapas needs some work though. Lovely place to meet for a quick drink after work.

I definitely enjoyed my stay there. The service is good. The room was okay. The breakfast was nice. Wouldn't mind staying there if I come here again.

Nice good hotel. My room was spacious and had a nice view of the Table Mountain. Bed was comfortable and good. Curtains close good, so for people that sleep difficult with sunrise, also nice. TV had full packaged, all movie channels and sport channels, you will miss nothing ;-) Breakfast good and was till 10:30 and even after that they let everybody eat without pressure, I like that. I arrived with the car, parking was 55R a day, also nice.

Staff is great Famous spot for movie shoots in Cape Town especially homeland So if you'd like to feature in international series or film your chances are highly likely here The roof to resturant is perfect for sundowners or chilling with friends.

Staff really made the stay enjoyable and memorable. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Particularly the taxi staff. Food was great, views of Table Mountain from room were amazing, wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel.

Bad advice for holidaying, impractical!

Rooms were spacious and comfortable but Breakfast was terrible and hygiene was poor.

A clean modern hotel with good views of Table Mountain. Excellent service from the staff. The restaurant has a good breakfast buffet and serves simple but good food at other times. The rooms are clean and generously equipped. Wifi worked well. The rooftop bar has good views of the mountain and is a nice place to sit and relax. The car park can be hard to get to and incline of the ramps within the car park are not for the faint hearted.

We had drinks at the roof top bar. My order was incorrect twice and the drinks were average. Nice view though.

Spent 3 weeks here. ✔Rooms are neat and modern ❌Wifi is spotty ✔Offers great view of Table Mountain ✔City Centre, close to shops ✔Wide range of choices at Breakfast ❌No real pool, the one available barely fits 3 people.

At the restaurant (sun deck part) : good, friendly service, nice food, not exorbitantly priced, earned a return visit.

Prima hotel in the city bowl. Spacious, clean room. The shuttle to the waterfront is very convenient. Taxi for this range is also only 50R.
